I called for an estimate to swap out a water heater that was leaking. Brian from BF arrived on time with a neat uniform and was very helpful about what the problem was. The only problem was the price which is a fixed cost for the job. $760, and that does not include the cost of the new water heater. I figured at most it would take 2 to 3 hours so that would be about $250/hour. I guess that's what the plumbers have gone to....a fixed rate like that versus an hourly rate. I guess I don't blame them if they can get it. But not from me. I'll be tackling this job myself and taking my wife somewhere for a nice 3 day weekend with the savings.

We have had Eric here for two different plumbing problems and have found him to be very efficient and pleasant as well. I was most impressed with his honesty. He had to return when a leak developed and immediately stated that his company would replace at no cost the toilet tank; the seal had been too tightly adjusted. We also found Max , the scheduler, quite kind and accommodating. Deer Valley is my number one plumbing company.
