Great service from Jason Georgopulos and his partner technician David. Very efficient. Highly recommend Lapin for septic clean out.

Marion was very helpful. He eased our mind that we did not have a leak in our house. That the sound we were hearing was actually an echo through our pipes from the water break up the street from us. Mario was super knowledgeable and helpful.

NOT recommended. (Is there anything lower than 1 star!?) Horrible customer service. Called twice, once the day before, to confirm service (pump out grease trap and then jet the lines). Pump crew never showed, making the jet crew unable to finish their job.No call from Brownie’s.Waited the next day for the pump crew and a call from their office. No call from Brownie’s.I called and talked to the sales person who apologized and recommended I talk to the office. Called the office and was told they would take care of it and reschedule. Waited a couple of days and NOTHING.Next call I made was a week later. Wasn’t even told some corporate-type excuse or apologized to. Said it would be rescheduled...didn’t show. Couple days and I get a call that they are on the way, 20 minutes. 2 minutes later I get a call about an emergency at a “drop everything” type contract so Brownie’s wouldn’t be coming.Told the person I wasn’t impressed with the company and that it was already past a week and there wasn’t even any communication. Apologized to me and guaranteed they would be here next day. I asked to cancel the job request. Received a call a few minutes later that Brownie’s would give a discount of $85.I rearranged my work schedule for a week and a $85 discount seemed a bit like the proverbial slap in the face. ‘Please cancel the job request.’(Come to find out - one of my coworkers had the same experience. Brownie’s set up an appointment, never showed. Finally got a reschedule and they came out. Brownie’s never sent the estimate they originally came out for)

Pinhole leak in a copper pipe - $143 to fix. It took them under 1/2 hour to fix it. I assume that if they worked a full 8 hours on a project, it would cost 16 X $143 or $2,288.
I'm not sure what other plumbers charge.

Update- I received my $501 refund as promised. I think that the company could do better in their communication but they did make it right for me.
On March 21, 2023, I used Roto Rooter to help me with some water damage. The initial gentleman that came to my home, Mike, was awesome! He found where the water was entering (from underground) and asked if I wanted his company to come out and clear out the drywall and air out the issue. I said yes, and then the next thing I knew I had a project manager, Yesenia, come out that day. It cost me $575. Yesenia told me that she would be with me from start to finish in the project. She indicated another group would come out to dehumidify the walls and use a microbial substance for any mold. She asked for my credit card and put a $1500 charge on my account which she stated would be the maximum charge. She also took my homeowners insurance information and said that she was going to help me get my insurance company to help alleviate the costs; she did not.
A team came a day later and started to tear out walls. One wall that they removed led out to the garage. They put a plastic covering over the hole which did not stay put no matter how many times I tried to nail it back onto the wall. The workers came and went. They were professional and polite, but the communication was terrible. I never knew when they were coming. They would tell me one day and show up the next. They would indicate morning and come in the late afternoon which caused me to constantly readjust my schedule. When I made an inquiry to Yesenia, she apologized, and phone calls were made to me by the workers to clarify the appointments.
Yesenia said that I needed a different company to fix the water problem. She recommended Elite Contracting Group who came out to survey the damage and see if they could fix the problem. The person I dealt with, Gio, I waited, patiently, for ten days and reached out. No response, I didn’t actually get his quote until May 25th. I called Yesenia in the interim to explain that I was not getting any help, so she recommended RACS. John, from RACS came to my house on May 4, and said that he thought it was a foundation issue. He recommended LRE. I contacted them, but they said it wouldn't fix the problem. I called John from RAC to just give me a bid to close the walls, and he never responded.
I was at a loss as to what to do, so I called Yesenia back. She told me that it wasn't her job to help me find a company, but she was helping me voluntarily. She indicated that her work with me was finished. Honestly, what the heck does a project manager do if not try and manage a project from start to finish as she initially indicated? I told her that because of all the storms and the hole from the inside of my house to the garage, moisture was coming into the house and I was going to have to pay for the dehumidifying and microbial sanitation again. She said nothing except, “oh.”
I am now over two months in on this project and it still is not finished. I had to find my own company, Serve Pro who will be fixing the issue. As a person who teaches interpersonal communication at a local college, I would like to point out that Roto Rooter is poor with its communication and customer service. They are great at starting projects, but they don’t follow up at all. If a person is not asking questions they will not get any assistance. When the project manager indicates a maximum of $1500 on a credit card that is not accurate, I spent over $3000. I also wonder if the company may have even caused damage to my house by letting all this moisture from the outside into my house because of the holes.
I am very disappointed by the customer service I have received. Language matters. What people say and do mean something. I would expect that a company as large as yours would have training to that effect. As it stands now, I feel like I was cheated out of $3000, and that doesn't make for a good Google review.

Workers are not properly trained to do their job correctly and fail to uncap the street valves on your yard to release air. That causes water eruption in the toilets of homes. We called to complain and spoke to Mr, Walker who was very rude and unprofessional. The company has no accountability. Find another company who cares and is more professional.
