I called the AHS for 3 faucet leaking problems at the beginning of last week. The AHS picked Blue Diamond plumbing company for the first time. On the first appointment day, they didn’t show up because their truck had a problem. Andy came on the second appointment day, but he didn’t have enough parts, so I had to reschedule. On the third appointment day, he canceled the appointment, I had to reschedule it again. After 4-5 reschedules, they finally came on 6/26/23. A technician named Kyle Basom came to fix our faucet. Since the faucet was a little more difficult to repair (according to Kyle), he had a hard time fixing it. He took one hour to fix the faucet, but he continuously cursed and used inappropriate language. After finishing the faucet, Kyle refused to fix the other faucet, which had the same problem, since it took too much effort. Kyle recommended fixing both the cartilage and the valve on the faucet since it would make his job easier even though the valve did not need to be fixed. It cost me an extra $550 out of my pocket. He left without fixing the second faucet and I received an invoice of $550 even though changing the valve was unnecessary. This morning, I called the AHS to request a second diagnosis from another company. The innovations plumbing company came today changed a new cartilage and took care of the cartilage much faster and professionally compared to Kyle at Blue Diamond Plumbing. I recommend that AHS's other customers avoid Blue Diamond Plumbing. Not only do they have terrible service, but they don’t care about how much money customers spend. They only care about less, easier, and more convenient work for themselves.

This business is very professional. I used them through referral by my home warranty. Historically home warranty contractor have a bad reputation. These guys were timely, professional, and very informative. Quick to make an appointment when I request service through my home warranty.

I appreciate them fixing my problem and did not try to sell me or make up other issues.

FAST, RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY SERVICE
I called early this morning at 7:30am, our 50 gallon water heater ruptured sometime during the night. At 7:46am, I received a call from Hector Cardenas. Hector let us know he could have someone out by 9am to provide an estimate. By our request, we were able to provide information and pictures via text and get a quote for a new one to be installed today in minutes. At approx. 8:30am, I let him know we wanted to move forward and he was very responsive, letting us know we would have someone here at 10am with a new one to be installed. I received a text confirmation along with name and picture, then another text to let us know Hector was enroute. Hector arrived early, very professional and started to remove the existing tank. He shared knowledge on cleaning the damage. We had also noticed a possible leak from a water stain on the ceiling and asked if we could get an estimate/ possible repair this same visit. Hector was very willing. He took a look at the shower drain that was the source and was easily able to complete the repair if we would cut the drywall. We said okay and by 11am - all repairs were complete. I would strongly recommend Hector Cardenas and trying this company for plumbing, water heater and as he mentioned air conditioning.

Robert explained some pricing to me and was very personable. I had Shawn, the Plumber out to my house, where he explained everything as he performed the work. Thank you to all involved.

This company was absolutely fantastic!! They were responsive and compassionate to my need for emergency plumbing services. They got me on their schedule immediately and went to work to repair my main waterline in relativity short order. They were timely and professional. They even cleaned up after the work. The YES/Blue Apple AC technician suggested and drafted a proposal for repair - that my air conditioner was oxidizing and had daisy-chained condensers, causing an imbalance in my unit, causing it to overheat, and said it could shut down at any time. Any unit can shut down at any time. This tactic to scare me, the homeowner, was unsuccessful, as I have a family member come the next day, an HVAC technician who has been for 34 years in the valley double-check this new issue on this routine maintenance check. After inspecting the two condenser batteries in one unit and one condenser, or what I call batteries in the other, he explained that there was nothing wrong with the unit; he told me that this was just NOT TRUE. They both had equal and correct amperage and no need for concern. The brown on the fan motor at the top is normal as the units do heat, and that causes the paint on the motor head to brown. ALL units have some degree of discoloration. In other words, AC units are made to dis-spell heat which almost always causes paint to turn brown or peel. This resin is usually set by the high temperatures. Appliances with metal components are vulnerable to corrosion, especially if exposed to outdoor conditions; THIS IS NORMAL. This technician, LIKE SO MANY in our valley, was trying to UPCHARGE me. I suspect this is the sales model most electric, plumbing, and HVAC companies use to make money. No wonder they are willing to come to the house on a service agreement at no charge. But it didn't fool me, and Thank you; I will keep my $900 in my pocket!
Don't change out something that was never defective. IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. If your AC unit fan stops, turn off the AC and call a tech. If your compressor stops humming or changes sound, turn off your unit and call someone; if your AC is blowing warm, turn off your unit and call someone. STOP replacing parts that THEY TELL YOU WILL QUIT WORKING. Yes, your machines can stop anytime, but wait until they do; some last 15 years, some less. I have three HVAC services that I double-check each other because I was ripped as a single mom. I didn't want to inconvenience a family member. Now I do both, verify all recommendations made by family and other AC companies I have hired. Don't fall for this way of doing business. Be a savvy homeowner, especially single parents and older people. Good luck! All these pictures are normal wear and tear.

Tech Albert was great called to confirm appointment and called prior to arrival, troubleshooting issues report finding to Home Warranty and install new unit. He was professional and courteous, this company I would recommend this company Second Opinion Plumbing to friends and family.
