Blue Diamond Plumbing

Blue Diamond Plumbing was sent out by AHS to look at our shower faucet since it was leaking. When they arrived I mentioned to the plumber about the possibility of the cartridge being bad (it had been replaced recently, but we were suspcious that it was a dud). Right away he started talking about how it was most likely the shower valve and that was going to be very expensive to repair and AHS would most likely not cover the whole repair. I told him I understood, but asked that he double check the cartridge first. After he was done looking at the shower (all of 5 minutes) he stated the cartridge was fine and it was for sure the valve which would be very pricey. He told me he would call me by the end of the day with more information and send his report to AHS. He never called and it took 3 days and multiple phone calls from AHS to get him to send his report so we could see what would be covered. Of course AHS wasn't going to cover everything and we were quoted $650 out of pocket. We chose to take the payout from AHS for what they would cover and call another plumber to look at the shower. Turns out it was the cartridge and for $170 we no longer have a leaky shower faucet. SHAME ON BLUE DIAMOND PLUMBING for trying to scam someone who was putting their faith in their knowledge and trusted them to be honest!!!! Totally disgusting and unacceptable. I would have possibly paid $650 for an uneeded repair and still would have had a leaky faucet!

Similar to a couple other reviews AHS warranty uses this company to fix issues. They caused major damage to my property outside of the work they were contracted to do. The receptionist is beyond incompetent and does not return calls. Our last time talking on the phone I promise I will call you back in 10 min. Of course I had to call them the next day. With so many plumbing companies choose another one. Bad Bad bad!

Kyle showed up when he was supposed to, was an utmost professional in both conduct and knowledge base. He solved something we've been battling for a while and left the place as clean as he found it. Highly recommend.

I called the AHS for 3 faucet leaking problems at the beginning of last week. The AHS picked Blue Diamond plumbing company for the first time. On the first appointment day, they didn’t show up because their truck had a problem. Andy came on the second appointment day, but he didn’t have enough parts, so I had to reschedule. On the third appointment day, he canceled the appointment, I had to reschedule it again. After 4-5 reschedules, they finally came on 6/26/23. A technician named Kyle Basom came to fix our faucet. Since the faucet was a little more difficult to repair (according to Kyle), he had a hard time fixing it. He took one hour to fix the faucet, but he continuously cursed and used inappropriate language. After finishing the faucet, Kyle refused to fix the other faucet, which had the same problem, since it took too much effort. Kyle recommended fixing both the cartilage and the valve on the faucet since it would make his job easier even though the valve did not need to be fixed. It cost me an extra $550 out of my pocket. He left without fixing the second faucet and I received an invoice of $550 even though changing the valve was unnecessary. This morning, I called the AHS to request a second diagnosis from another company. The innovations plumbing company came today changed a new cartilage and took care of the cartilage much faster and professionally compared to Kyle at Blue Diamond Plumbing. I recommend that AHS's other customers avoid Blue Diamond Plumbing. Not only do they have terrible service, but they don’t care about how much money customers spend. They only care about less, easier, and more convenient work for themselves.

Andrew was very nice. Glad I got someone who knows what he's doing. Fixed the problems with 2 toilets and he explained the issues to me.

I cannot speak highly enough of Blue Diamond plumbing! Everyone we've seen has been so professional and honest. Andy and Taran are the best! When another company told our home warranty company we had abused the toilet and they wouldn't cover it, Andy came out as a second opinion and fixed it in under an hour! Again, we needed a second opinion and Taran came out when above and beyond to help diagnose our leak. Even the lady in the office is so patient and kind. We would not hesitate to recommend Blue Diamond Plumbing!

Blue Diamond was hired through my home warranty company. They came out quickly but we were met by a rude technician that in my opinion, it feels like he wrote the diagnosis in such a manner that the claim would be denied and then offered to fix the problem for $350 cash. I turned down that offer because it felt shady.
The technician said he would submit the claim, wait for a response from the home warranty and tell us the result. He disappeared into his truck and just drove away instead of telling us the claim was denied. (I think he did this on purpose because he figured he was not going to get the job done for cash like he wanted)
I would not recommend this company!

Taron at Blue Diamond Plumbing was the 3rd plumber to diagnose an under slab leak in the hot water pipes under my house. He came on time, made my house a priority since they already knew I had issues with the first guy, and brought the leak detection equipment which my insurance company wanted. Scheduling the work was on my day off and he completed a reroute of hot water pipes thru the walls and attic since original pipes were under the house. He left a clean job and explained absolutely everything to me as he was going. I also asked for his recommendation for a GC and he literally showed up at my house an hour later. What most people would consider a huge expensive disaster he made a pleasant experience. Laura in the office was also extremely helpful in speaking to my brother when I couldn’t and in organizing everything. A++++++
