After having Goettl plumbing come out last night and try to soak me for 3500to4000 dollars to remove a water purifying unit which was leaking all over my kitchen bottom sink. The bottom was caving in due to the water collection over a period of time. Trish from Roto-Rooter got Tony out right away. He removed unit..wiring..capped it and replaced floorboard after Jason the mitigation expert came out and inspected for mold and water damage thank God there wasn't any or very little no mold. I paid half of what the other company charged.After experiencing such devastation with the loss of family members and a son who took advantage of mom with dementia and took everthing in these tumultuous times I was so happy to have Roto-Rooter on my side.
From Trish on the phone to Tony and Jason and their reputation is impeccable. I cannot thank you enough it was simple and quick and very professional I will use again if I need and refer to my mobile home park. Thank you so much!

So relieved we found Valleywide to detect and fix our pool leak! We knew we had leak for a few months now but had a hard time determining where it was coming from - it progressively got worse the last couple weeks- losing about an inch of water a day. Plaster and equipment is all fairly new - about a year old but the pool itself is about 30 years old. Our pool guy wasn't able to determine where the leak was coming from so I contacted another pool leak detection I found on google with a lot more reviews.. he came out and spent about 30 minutes fiddling around before telling me he had to leave and gave no indication where leak might be. So I gave Valleywide a call - they set up a time to come find the leak. Super professional, efficient and reasonably priced. They found the leak in about 30-40 min. They were able to schedule a time to fix the leak as well later in the week but did not pressure me at all to schedule it with them. A pipe had cracked right where they detected. The job took a few hours and we are not losing any water now. With all the flaky people out there don't waste your time - use Valleywide for your pool leak detection!

In May, I had my a/c unit tune up done. They found 3 issues of concern, however they were not contracted by my home warranty. So Air Squad was sent out.
The technician arrived, we told him what we needed checked for repairs, he discounted them and did a minimal check with his findings being nothing wrong, and made excuses why he didn't need to check them out.
Hello!!! You were called to address our issues. Anyway, I contacted the company who did the tune up, the owner apologized if his tech was in error, and would refund my $100 co pay to home warranty plus the cost of the tune up if this was the case. He was very nice and offered a solution.
He recommended I see the readings from Air Squad to compare with the readings they did.
Seem simple enough right?? Well, I called Air squad, only to have a confused person on the phone, so he said he would have the tech call me..
When the tech called, I asked for this info, and he was very rude and unprofessional. He told me if I wanted any info to contact my warranty company and hung up.
I did call my home warranty, only to be told they didn't receive any diagnosis from air squad yet, but they would request it.
Well, I sat in limbo, as I couldn't get a 2nd opinion from home warranty until Air Squad send in the paperwork. It was requested several times, by myself and warranty co, even got told it was sent, got told I'd get an email so I could use that myself.. nope.. nothing. In the meantime, we were hitting triple digits, and my air needed to be fixed, and I ended up paying $700 out of my own pocket for a repair.
5 weeks now and still no paperwork turned in to warranty company.
I DO NOT recommend this company based on their unprofessional work ethic, and poor performance in a whole.

Miguel did a superb job. With the new kitchen sink and dishwasher, my life is now so much better. He also fixed two leaky faucets that had been thorns in my side. -Very much appreciated!

After some really stressful water damage our entire bathroom was gutted, Casey and his team absolutely defied expectations by restoring a dream bathroom. From the plumbers and electricians to the painters and everyone in between every person was knowledgeable and went above and beyond, seemingly making the impossible possible on multiple occasions. I’m a really particular person and they were super helpful with every detail, answered all my questions thoroughly, and made me feel confident in the direction we were going. They are seriously wonderful, talented, and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I cannot express my gratefulness enough.

The YES/Blue Apple AC technician suggested and drafted a proposal for repair - that my air conditioner was oxidizing and had daisy-chained condensers, causing an imbalance in my unit, causing it to overheat, and said it could shut down at any time. Any unit can shut down at any time. This tactic to scare me, the homeowner, was unsuccessful, as I have a family member come the next day, an HVAC technician who has been for 34 years in the valley double-check this new issue on this routine maintenance check. After inspecting the two condenser batteries in one unit and one condenser, or what I call batteries in the other, he explained that there was nothing wrong with the unit; he told me that this was just NOT TRUE. They both had equal and correct amperage and no need for concern. The brown on the fan motor at the top is normal as the units do heat, and that causes the paint on the motor head to brown. ALL units have some degree of discoloration. In other words, AC units are made to dis-spell heat which almost always causes paint to turn brown or peel. This resin is usually set by the high temperatures. Appliances with metal components are vulnerable to corrosion, especially if exposed to outdoor conditions; THIS IS NORMAL. This technician, LIKE SO MANY in our valley, was trying to UPCHARGE me. I suspect this is the sales model most electric, plumbing, and HVAC companies use to make money. No wonder they are willing to come to the house on a service agreement at no charge. But it didn't fool me, and Thank you; I will keep my $900 in my pocket!
Don't change out something that was never defective. IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. If your AC unit fan stops, turn off the AC and call a tech. If your compressor stops humming or changes sound, turn off your unit and call someone; if your AC is blowing warm, turn off your unit and call someone. STOP replacing parts that THEY TELL YOU WILL QUIT WORKING. Yes, your machines can stop anytime, but wait until they do; some last 15 years, some less. I have three HVAC services that I double-check each other because I was ripped as a single mom. I didn't want to inconvenience a family member. Now I do both, verify all recommendations made by family and other AC companies I have hired. Don't fall for this way of doing business. Be a savvy homeowner, especially single parents and older people. Good luck! All these pictures are normal wear and tear.
