Our water heater broke, and it was upstairs. We entrusted our house with Thistle DKI. They did an amazing job, they were able to dry out all the water in our ceiling and the part that wouldnt dry they took out. They patched up the hole and you would never know there was a hole. Their workmanship on the dry wall was miraculous. They were extremely attentive and came by periodically to check on the dryers. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs work on their house. All of the staff was nice, well mannered, and courteous of our home.
They did a very good job and was very professional. It took a little longer than normal but was not any fault to DKI, it was a holdup with the insurance company. I would recommend DKI to anyone, very pleased with their work.

I was very happy with the service I received from Thistle DKI and particularly from Tyler Mecham and Kaydin Thompson. It was a very stressful time and having water damage to my kitchen and the floor torn up was very difficult. The prompt attention and courteous assistance of Tyler and Kaydin was so appreciated! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They answered calls and were always pleasant and helpful. It made an otherwise unpleasant experience much more pleasant.

I noticed some water damage just a few days before Thanksgiving and contacted my insurance company.
Marco came out the following day. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Today (11/22/22) AJ and Alfred came for the demo. This part was very quick and easy. So even though thier prices were (Very) inflated I went with them to fix it quickly because this did happen just prior to Thanksgiving.
The problem really comes in with the reconstruction. Once you sign the contract (and pay 1/2) they just don't care. When I talked to the project manager he said that they have 28 jobs going on and some people wait 6 months to be fixed. 6 months of your house being tore up!
Then they would make an appointment to come and work on repairs and not bother to call or show up. That is multiple days of lost work to just sit in your house and do nothing.
I recommend that if you go with this company that you get a completion date in writing. Unfortunately you have to stay on them constantly to get anything done.
Honestly I would just take the insurance money and hire it out to other people. It will go faster and a hell of a lot less expensive.
Thistle DKI always does excellent work. They are dependable and professional.
Kaydin Thompson and all the workers he had come over to perform the various repairs were excellent. Professional, prompt and did a great job. Kaydin was great in handling everything and making this job a very good experience.

Joe McGonigle, Project Manager, did a great job . He was responsive to all my calls . He and all the subs showed up on time were very professional and did an outstanding job. They actually cared about taking precautions when working in the house and did a fantastic job cleaning up when they left. Joe and all subs were a pleasure to work with.

Rob and Casey were easy to deal with and fair. I'm very happy with the work they did (especially Alan). Unlike a lot of companies who try and drag out a job, Thistle DKI was fast which made the repairs much less of an inconvenience.
Thistle DKI was a pleasure to work with and they did a great job. Their project manager Kaden was very responsive and his follow through to complete our project was excellent. The whole remodel process was fluid and we are very happy with the end result. I would recommend Thistle DKI to anyone doing a remodel through an insurance claim. They were knowledgeable snd helpful through the whole process.
Robert went out of his way, even on weekends, to keep me in the loop as to what was supposed to happen and when. He made sure the right materials were used to get our place back to the level and condition it was in before the fire. Many thanks to Robert and the Thistle DKI team.

Thistle DKI was incredible! We actually had to use them TWICE in a 2 week period... the second flood happened at 2am!! They came out with blowers to stop the water from causing further damage. They were extremely caring and professional when we felt so vulnerable. When it came time to start the drywall restoration they were fast and diligent. We can’t even tell where the damage was now. I have been working with Thistle for the last few months after a flood happened from my washing machine. They refurbished all the kitchen cabinets to remove mold damage, removed and patched drywall (also from mold damage), new floors, vanities, countertops, and helped fixed some plumbing issues from a trees roots cracking a pipe. Everyone that I have worked with at the company are friendly, professional, patient, and super helpful. They’re work is beautiful and I am beyond happy with the results.

Highly recommend Thistle DKI for any construction needs. Our house flooded and Thistle DKI was the general contractor that did the work to restore. Joe, the foreman, was great to work with as well as the other employees. They were always quick to answer questions, provide updates, help guide where changes were needed. Joe was always available by text or phone and responded immediately. If something needed to get redone, no questions asked, it got done. Would not hesitate to use Thistle DKI in the future.

After some really stressful water damage our entire bathroom was gutted, Casey and his team absolutely defied expectations by restoring a dream bathroom. From the plumbers and electricians to the painters and everyone in between every person was knowledgeable and went above and beyond, seemingly making the impossible possible on multiple occasions. After two issues with the Plumbing in my house causing water damage, I was extremely sensitive to plumbing problems/leaks. I thought something was wrong in one of my bathrooms, and I called Thistle DKI (Bobby) and told him my concerns and he had people come over to take care of everything! I am super appreciative of the response and taking care of what I thought was an issue. If I have any repair items for my home that they cover, I will definitely call them first!

My water heater was leaking out the back and I was not aware until my socks got wet walking in my living room yikes !! 😳 the heater is in my garage so the wall had to be cut and dried out mold removal etc ...that part was a nightmare .

Thistle did a thorough, professional job of removing all of our water- damaged materials - ceiling, walls, tile, etc. They always arrived on time, and did a nice job of cleaning up the worksite each day. They also were thorough in protecting the remainder of our home from demolition dust.
Called DKI, after a vehicle ran thru my back wall and destroyed my work shop. Bobby was here within 1 hr. and secured the wall so people couldnt just walk in. Thank you DKI.

I had a sulfer odor issue in my office. I could not find a plumber who handles odor issues. Mike and his crew were very prompt on the appointment day. They were very thorough with their work and respectful of the place. Most of all, they cleaned up after themselves. That is something that you don't see very much nowadays. Bobby was great and helped along the way in our shower repair and refinish. Thistle is a great contact to have for times in need for water damage and repair. Bobby's expertise and list of professionals to pull from helps make the situation easier for the homeowner.
While I hope I never need them again, I will call them first if I do. They handled all of the repairs and getting approval from the insurance company. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and they started the job when they said they would, and finished in a couple of days.

Tyler and his team at Thistle were AMAZING! They did our reconstruction following a water heater explosion and really helped to make the entire process more tolerable. Tyler facilitated all the communication with our insurance company to make sure our work was started ASAP. Lui and Mike did great work and worked hard each day on the job.
Tyler even went above and beyond after their part of the project was completed to help to rectify a problem caused by previous contractors in an effort to keep our remodel on track.

I was very stressed due to water damage in my home and the insurance company not being as helpful as they normally are. Once I spoke to Ryan, he completely set my mind at ease and had someone come out to assess the damage the same day! The professionalism of every worker was outstanding. Eriberto, Noel and Josh were the techs that came out to complete the water mitigation and tile removal. Eriberto was very knowledgeable and informative. He made sure I understood everything he was doing and why. The next day, Marco, the supervisor estimator came out to check on the drying progress and also was very thorough and informative. Their process is to do as little damage to your home as possible, so they attempted to dry out the walls and flooring before they determined my tile needed to be removed in order for the floor to dry completely. The workers had to remove my toilet and the tile in my bathroom and cleaned up so well you would never even have known they were there with the exception that I had no toilet or floor 😊 I intend to have them also complete the restoration portion of the job as well and would absolutely recommend them for your water mitigation needs! Thank you to each of you for being so friendly and professional and making an otherwise miserable experience bearable 😊

We live in the bay area and own a condo in Henderson Nevada which we use as a getaway place. On one of our visits, we noticed that the kitchen was flooded because the sink overflowed. They were able to take care of the problem and fix the damages while we were back to the bay area. No supervision needed and they did a great job. A few months later, our water heater broke and Thistle DKI to the rescue. They dried up the place, replaced the water heater and repaired and painted the walls while we were in the bay area. They are so reliable and trustworthy. I'm giving them an A+

They did an excellent job of repairing water damage done to my kitchen ceiling . New drywall, painting with retexture of ceiling. They worked quickly with good clean up.
We are very happy with the work provided. The team lead by Tyler was very professional and responsive. We will definitely use Thistle DKI for future renovations.

I had this company come out quickly after a water heater leaked into my Condo affecting my floors and walls. Rey was very thorough, patient, knowledgeable, neat and answered all of my numerous questions. He removed the affected materials and set up water extraction and fans. We moved into a new house in October 2020, and we discovered that there were some major plumbing issues in the master bathroom, and some mold in the kitchen. We started a claim with Allstate and we ended up using Thistle DKI for all of it. It was a very long process, but they were patient, professional, and very kind. Robert was our project manager and he was always on top of things when the work started! This company is really awesome! Definitely plan on using them again later on down the road when we choose to remodel the kitchen.
I am way beyond disappointed with the performance, or lack of would be most accurate. My house was flooded in December. To this day my house is incomplete. The quality of work has been worse than poor. I can't get the project manager (Nate) to answer his phone. The flooring contractor Cloud Carpet (Angela) has done nothing but lie to me. There quality of work is also very poor. I just want my house done!

Words can not explain how grateful I am to the project manager Tyler at DKI Las Vegas. Due to certain circumstances he was able to elevate a job that would take a week to complete and had it completed in 3 days. He was very communicative and processed forms straight away. There were no more project managers left due to Covid and he made magic happen. Thanks again Tyler. Job well done. I had mold remediation, dry wall installation and new carpet.

In speaking with my home insurance representative, they offered to have one of their contractors come to my home to mitigate water damage from a ceiling leak and I was shocked when I was told not only could Thistle DKI come out today, but they’d be over within 2 hours!! That is incredible. Service tech, Reynaldo, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He came prepared and completed the mitigation setup in less than an hour. He answered all my questions and discussed next steps with me. I have dealt with a ceiling leak before and it was a stressful, unnecessarily lengthy and drawn out process to get everything fixed. But not this time. I feel much more confident and reassured that my house will be good as new in a timely manner thanks to Thistle DKI. I look forward to working with them until the job is completed.

So, It has been about 5 years since we have done business with DKI, but I feel now I can finally write a review, June 19 2014 our house had a fire, in that fire we lost our two children. DKI was contracted for the rebuild and from start to finish we never had an issue, everyone on their team was amazing all the contractors they use are amazing Danny was amazing, they rebuilt our dream house for us and really went above and beyond, the whole process was difficult on our end, just showing up to the house was difficult considering what we had gone through they made it seamless, they cared and you could tell. I truly thanked them but I cant put into words how much they helped and how much we appreciate them.
We are now ready to move on to a different home and I needed some inspection papers for the sale of the house, I called and spoke with Paige who within 10 minutes had everything I needed emailed over to me.
From start to finish and beyond they are amazing!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Had a full size shower that was poorly built by the original remodeler. Was leaking water. DKI rebuilt the shower, properly. Also added a door between Master and Master Bath that we’re originally open. DKI did an outstanding job and was my best experience to date working with home remodeling / home repair. They were prompt, communicated consistently along the way and had a consistent assignment of professionals to keep the project moving along. We experienced a water event that we decided to report to our Insurance Company, Allstate. Thank goodness they had Thistle come out immediately. I cannot say enough about this company. They assessed the damage ($14,000), provided mitigation and an estimate to do the repairs plus upgrades. Although we could have chosen our own contractor for restoration/remodel, we were so impressed by their staff, work ethic and professionalism we decided to have them do everything. It is a process and some things take more time (Kera Bath did the new bathroom showers/enclosures, countertops) but in the end we do not have one complaint. Kayden, our Project Manager, immediately responded to any messages from me. We could not be happier and give them a 5 Star Rating.
I would highly recommend them. Mike diagnosed and promptly corrected the problem. I will use them again, when I need plumbing help.

If the ordeal of a house fire was not enough, our first dealings with a Fire/Restoration company - not Thistle DKI - was an absolute nightmare. We felt we had been swindled into a deal in the midst of one of our family’s worst experiences ever.
In came Tyler and the crew over at Thistle DKI to our rescue! They totally delivered about as awesome an experience you can have recovering from a garage fire. The work was done in as timely a manner as possible and all of our communication with Tyler was prompt and courteous. I never felt like the fee was their ultimate goal - I truly felt like the proper completion of the job was more important, and that meant a lot during a time that was otherwise pretty stressful.
While I don’t wish a fire or any other accident on anybody out there, if you do have an issue arise like ours, don’t hesitate to contact Thistle DKI. They definitely provided us with some peace of mind during our ordeal.

After contacting our home warranty we only waited a day or 2 before we recieved a call from THISTLE DKI to set up a time to talk to us and look over the problem. That's when we met Joe mcgoniagl, he was the one in charge of our job anything we needed to know if we had question we asked Joe and Joe kept us updated on everything. On that Monday Joe brought out the 4 men (Abraham, Nathon, Jesse and Forest) who fixed the sub floors that same day. They were amazing to watch, they were focused, knowledgeable and professional. Next was the then came plumbers, the flooring and painting and misc things. They all very nice, professional and knowledgeable, and Joe kept it all organized and handled everything. We had a water leak in an upstairs bathroom and needed a trustworthy repair company. Thistle DKI came out quickly and we were immediately impressed by their professionalism. Our technician Robert was very thorough and knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to check for hidden damage, mold, and water build up. He explained everything as he went along and I learned quite a few things from him. I know that they are busy, but I was was impressed that he took the extra time to make sure that we understood every step of the process.
We had been thinking about updating the bathroom and felt so good about Thistle DKI that we decided to go with them for the remodel (since we were already doing repairs.) I'm glad we did. We stripped the bathroom all the way down to the framing and updated the plumbing, fixtures, lighting, and installed a new high tech shower system. It was a big job. The job supervisor Boston Joe McGonagle was a delight and he stayed right on top of the job throughout the process. Even though we tore out everything, they always put down plastic sheeting and hung barriers so things stayed surprisingly clean. Every subcontractor that came out for Thistle was also excellent: the plumber, electrician, framers- a strong team.
In the end the work was beautiful, the cost was reasonable, and we were happy. The only problem is that I can't get the kids out of the new bathroom. Great job!!!

We had a supply toilet line leak in our home while we were on vacation and it flooded the entire one story house. The house was essentially gutted to detect and prevent black mold. Thistle DKI replaced the drywall, insulation, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tiling showers etc. Essentially redid the whole house and they did a spectacular job making the house better than it was before.
The only reason this company isn't getting 5 stars is because my original project manager seemed disinterested in the project and he ended up leaving the company just as things were about to get started. That caused a delay in the restoration.
That being said, the project manager who replaced the original person, Tyler Mecham, was extremely professional, responsive, polite and all around very accommodating. Issues with the house would arise during the restoration and he took the time to find the best solution and price to solve these problems. He answered all my ignorant house questions with grace, knowing that I did not have as much knowledge as professionals on the intricacies of how a house works. If the review was just about his performance, then it would be 5 stars.
I highly recommend using Thistle DKI and Tyler Mecham for your home restoration needs.
I was very pleased with the response time when I called on the weekend when I had flood damage in my home. They quickly responded and assessed rhe damage right away and brought equipment in to dry the affected area out & sealed the area off. There is a reason why this team is highly rated - because they’re great! I received MANY estimates to repair my kitchen but Thistle was the timeliest and most professional. The structure of their business most definitely put my mind at ease throughout the process. I was assigned a project manager (Ashley) who was SUPER responsive and communicated well. I was always kept in the loop with every step that was happening throughout the repair. I NEVER once felt I was left in the dark and when I had any concerns, they were always addressed. I was first nervous because they couldnt start on my house immediately but that was an indicator of how high in demand they are - because they’re good!! They took their time completing the job and like I said, did not rush to complete it until I was happy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Marco Rodriguez from Thistle DKI on a home repair project, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Marco was not only extremely skilled and efficient, but he also went above and beyond to work with me every step of the way.
From the outset, Marco took the time to explain the repair process to me in detail, which was very helpful as I had no prior experience with this type of work. He listened carefully to my concerns and preferences, and was always happy to answer any questions I had. We contacted Thistle DKI to perform repairs after we had remediation done from water damage. Thistle DKI worked well with our insurance company and kept in contact with us throughout the entire process. Josh (our DKI Thistle project manager) was professional and always happy and willing to explain timelines, processes, and answer any question(s) we had. Concerns were always dealt with immediately and phone calls/texts are always responded to in a very timely manner. All of our interactions with every employee with Thistle DKI was courteous and helpful. Dealing with the water damage our home suffered was a huge headache, but thanks to Thistle DKI, we are very happy with the repairs and can't imagine a better experience with a construction company.

Couldn't ask for a better company to fix up water damage done in a timely manner. Bobby was absolutely the best project manager out there and when I was in doubt he told me everything was gonna turn out Great and he was right. If I ever need any work done I know who I will turn to.

I used Thistle a couple years back and they are still very responsive and helpful in getting things taken care of. I recently had a water leak cause some damage to my home, and they came out quickly, worked with my insurance, and did what they could to keep everything moving with the repairs. COVID caused some delays, but in the end, it all came together. Will use them again if I have the need again.

The mitigation crew from Thistle DKI arrived on-time, was polite, protected my home from any more damage and got right to work on our carpet and walls after broken water valve. Marco gladly answered all my questions and was intent on making sure everything was done correctly and as fast as possible to prevent any more water damage. also a special thanks to all the young guys who worked hard on the deconstruction of the damage areas. Highly recommend this company.
Integrity and fantastic customer service. Thank you for putting us first as a customer and doing impeccable work. Rey, Marco, AJ , Alfred, Luis, thank you, unfortunately I gave this review prior to completed work, and now 8 months later I get a response from the owner. The people I mentioned above were amazing and did exactly as promised however all went downhill from there and I had to hire another company to complete the work. I’m not in to bashing a business just letting the public know that I would get a second opinion.

Bobby from Thistle DKI was extremely professional and friendly during our entire experience. Thistle DKI was timely and efficient and in the end did a fantastic job on our kitchen, which had serious water damage. Could't be more pleased.

They were here at the time they said they would be and finished when the said they would finish. All employees were polite and courteous. We felt comfortable around the whole crew....Marco's crew Noel, Josh, Rey, Eriberto, Alfred all did good work.

My water heater broke and they were professional. They showed up within an hour, and I had a new water heater installed within hours truly dependable and responsible. I would highly recommend this company.

The whole process was amazing. They listened to exactly what I wanted and even came up with ideas that were better than mine. I now have my dream bathroom. I would highly recommend their services. Joe is the best!
DKI rocks. Marco and his team with the mitigation portion deserve a raise. Professional / quick to respond/ answered all questions and made me feel at ease. Wouldn’t recommend any other companies for repair. Hats off to the TEAM. Marco with mitigation and Robert the estimator are as good as they come.

We had a case like this 13 months ago and the construction portion was horrible. The difference between that and this is wonderful. There were no long delays, no personal items went missing, and everyone we spoke to was professional, courteous, and friendly. Kudos and thanks, Bobby, Edgar, and everyone behind the scenes.
Joe and his group were really great. Professional, had great attention to detail, always on time and would answer every call. The painter was the best I've ever seen, such a super job. I would always highly recommend this company and thier employees..

The only negative was that AJ and his crew had another emergency call...

We had Thistle DKI do extensive work in our house, which included redoing the flooring for the whole house and complete remodel of the kitchen. From start to finish it was a very smooth process. Robert Harper, the project manager provided excellent customer service and was attentive to all our concerns. He was available at all times and very accommodative to our schedule. All the workers were highly skilled and did an exceptional job. The slightest imperfection or the minutest error was taken care of. We did some modifications during remodeling but even then the cost of the project was close to the initial estimate. Above all the project finished on time. Highly recommend this company!

With unexpected home repairs you need someone to turn to. Reach out and trust them; they took care of my family and my home. I have 2 kids and my husband appreciated how kind everyone that came into our home was. The work was completed in record timing and they were extremely communicative. Rob the contractor was great throughout the entire process really had our backs and so was Alex who came in and did great carpentry work! Highly recommend y’all! Thank you again guys
Mike was great. He responded quickly, politely and was extremely professional. He came out and diagnosed my issue that 3 other plumbers missed.
While he was here, he gave me a quote to install a water softener. It was quite reasonable. I will definitely be using this company to fix my plumbing issues.

Eriberto was very responsive to any questions I had and Luis & Noel & Eriberto were all hard workers from the moment they got there until the end of the day , I would highly recommend them. 😊Inspection came out great & now on to the replacement part with their company Thistle construction 🎉 but hoping the girls in the office will be a little more helpful then when I called yesterday concerning a appointment & they had the attitude of not available to bad so sad 😞 I was going to go somewhere else but then Marco called me back & assured me he was coming today as we discussed prior & was true to his word & was here bright & early this am with Tyler in tow setting me up to start putting my house back together 😊 That's what I call Customer Service I will add before & after pics once I have the house finished so you can see their work 😊
Ryan and Bobby were awesome! I needed a couple of holes in my walls patched up. I spoke with Ryan in the morning and Bobby called me that evening. Bobby came out the very next day to see what needed to be done. The job was done by the following morning. It's like the holes were never there :)

We had the fill line burst on our master bedroom toilet while nobody was home. Our insurance provided Thistle for the flood remediation. Thistle was very reliable for this and we decided to use them for the restoration and remolding as well. I am so glad we did.
Our project manager Landon became our best friend!
The job was pretty big and included carpet in multiple rooms where the water had made it under the walls, the replacement of the shower as the water seeped into those barriers and all repainting the whole area.
Kaydin helped us pick from their commercial grade flooring and shower option in their design center. Its not a huge design center, but it is well appointed and the products are the finest quality.
Our home looks amazing!!! Its like a new home. Thistle took care of the headaches and was very responsive to our schedules and prompt to get work done on schedule. Paige in the office deserves a mention as she is super friendly and responsive to administrative needs.
One of the important things to me was Thistle met our needs with great energy and professionalism. We were afraid going into this project and thanks to Thistle we are living the lux life now.
We had a toilet overflow upstairs over night and did damage downstairs as well as upstairs. Thistle DKI came out that day and assessed the damage and started clean up and repair immediately! Alex and Richard worked with us very closely and guided us through the insurance process and repair process! All the workers were very helpful and explained exactly what they would be doing!They are very thorough and competent! The work was done perfectly! We highly recommend Thistle DKI!

Some of the subcontractors did cause delays here and there but nothing too bad.

My husband and I were completely satisfied with this company and as we know all excellent things take time. They were able to provide great service for us and beyond. We would recommend them anytime. Our project manager Jared Harper made it all happen.
We had water damage from a water heater leak. Thistle DKI handled the entire project from removal of the damage to rebuilding the wall. Our project manager, Kaydin, was very responsive. He answered any questions we had whether by phone call or text. Kaydin was very knowledgeable with a very good customer service management style. He even handled any unfinished touch ups, such as putting on a door frame molding, getting the paint to match and checking the water heater hook up. I would be very pleased to have this same service completed by Thistle DKI and Kaydin in the future.
