We had a plumbing emergency and felt like all of the companies we spoke with were trying to take advantage of us. Until Elizabeth Plumbing. They explained everything to us in a way that made sense and provided us with an estimate that was spot on! Would highly recommend them!

We had a main water line leak between two houses on our property. We received 4 estimates to replace the pipe. All recommended replacing vs trying to repair the pipe. Advanceds’ estimate wasn't the lowest, there was one lower estimate but we elected to go with them because their technicians (Jason and Taz) were so helpful and so pleasant. We felt we could trust them to do a good job as quoted and do it on time.

This job was difficult as the main line lies underground beneath asphalt driveway and lawn. The asphalt and the lawn are separated by a low wooden retaining wall. The plan was to dig a trench straight through from house to house and replace the existing pipe with a new pipe. We would later have to repave the trench which would be roughly 50’ long. In addition, we would probably have to rebuild the older retaining wall.

The day of the project the owner of the company, Sam, studied the situation and came up with a different plan. He and his team were able to push the pipe through the sleeve which held the broken pipe!! This prevented any need to dig!! No digging!! No breaking up the asphalt, no need to repave, no need to reseed the lawn, no need to fix the retaining wall!! Done. In a matter of hours. Can you imagine our relief?

Our actual invoice was for less than half of what was originally quoted. Sam also saved us a lot of money in future repaving and possibly repairing the short retaining wall costs. Sam is not only very knowledgable but is a man with integrity. My feeling throughout this experience with Advanced is that we were all on the same team.

Props as well to Isha who works in the office. Isha patiently answered all of our questions and was helpful all around. All scheduling was quick and punctual and we were kept in the loop through it all.

We needed a dual service. Bathtub was leaking in one of the bathrooms, and a faulty furnace. We needed someone who could cover both problems: a one-stop-shop kind of thing. Three well-reputed companies showed up in my Google search. This company offered me the best quote and a perfect appointment.

They dispatched their two best workers for the job. Both of them were very polite and communicative. We were all set within a few hours. Efficient and clean work from the guys. We would happily hire them again if needed.

The business response below to my initial review was accurate. In fact, I was impressed with their willingness to come by on such short notice.

When I called at 3:30pm the receptionist was far from warm and seemed irritated with me calling to check in. She said they WILL CALL ME a half hour before they arrived -- which they never did.

Bill called me this morning to tell me he had stopped by and knocked/rang the doorbell. I was in the home the whole time and didn't hear anything, but I'll take him at his word and he seemed truly apologetic, even offering to come to the home this morning (unfortunately I had to take the time off from work yesterday and therefore couldn't today).

He said the company could not find where they put my phone number and that's why he never called. I believe him on this, too. I get that things happen but the attitudes I received from the different folks I spoke to there was icing on the cake for having lost a day of work. Melissa who I initially spoke with was great, though.

Initial review:

I would not recommend them at all. Completely unprofessional and they wasted my entire day.

I waited all day for them to arrive and even called when they were running late to be told I would receive a call 30 minutes before they arrived.

Four hours later I was finally able to get a hold of one of the technicians who told me the guy had been here hours before and that nobody was home — which is complete bs. I was in the living room by the door all day and they never called me once.

We needed a plumbing company to quickly redo my mother-in-law's bathroom in Jersey City after she had fallen and required some special needs equipment. John had his excellent crew there within the week and they did a fantastic job of replacing the sink & vanity, toilet, and shower with elderly-friendly fixtures. I needed to have my water heater replaced. I found out our old one wasn't working on a Sunday morning. I called Advanced Professional and within 1 hour (on a Sunday) we had a tech show up (talk about a speedy response!!!). The techs name was Joey and he completed the job with no issues. He went above and beyond on this particular installation due to some issues we had in the basement. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as courteous and thorough. I highly recommend Advanced Professional. 5 stars + !!!

I recently had a pretty major plumbing issue and made a call to his company to assess the problem and resolve my issue. The bottom line is Carlos (Owner) was immediately responsive and prioritized my urgent situation with efficient professionalism and add to that was very reasonably priced.

I just want to thank the electrician who came over to my house last week to replace 14 outlets in the first floor, after discovering the problem was the old outlets in one of the bedrooms. Some of the outlets were malfunctioning, causing some of the lights to flicker in other areas of the house. Or half the house would be out of power due to a short circuit. These new outlets are not only stylish, they're a step above making sure my family and I are living in a safer, more up to date environment. Even though the job was costly, I still saved a pretty penny with the membership I'm subscribed to. I'm satisfied with the work that was done.

I just moved into the house few months ago and the house came installed with a very old AC unit.  I turned it on during the weekend and it worked for a little while and  then stopped working. I called and someone came by and fixed the problem quickly (turn out to be a busted cap, very common problem).  He also went to the attic to check on the furnace to make sure everything's ok. He very professional and friendly, No pressure or haggling. Very friendly. I do plan to replace the unit anyway when I have the budget. I will definitely use them.

The plumber that came in was very knowledgeable, professional and cleaned up. My overall experience was positive and I would recommend ANA to anyone!
