My old hot water heater started leaking water badly (basically failing) very early morning resulting in me turning off the water and heat element. I found and called them, and Arsen came by quickly to inspect, recommended to replace with price point, and with half deposit, got the new heater and came by in the afternoon and got the job done at the time he said he would.

I've used this company twice now, and I have to say that they are the best! They are fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. The technician who came out was knowledgeable and professional. A few months ago, we had the boiler system in the house break and not deliver heat properly. Chris was timely, and explained every step of the way what he was doing and why he was doing it. The job became a rather large one as we discovered the issues with the boiler system, needing a full drain and changing of the bleeder valves through the whole house. Every time we made a change to the plan that would cost more, Chris was sure to inform me and make sure that was what we wanted to move forward with. I told him to fix it well once so I didn't need him again - several months later, my heat is working better than ever. Considering the initial quote he gave me, and how big the project had ballooned to, he even knocked a little bit off of the final total at the end. Absolutely satisfied with the work he did, and will be sure to call him first and absolutely recommend his services.

I wanted to use Gateway, what a disappointment. Called last week on Monday, someone named Anthony returned my call on the same day, he said they were closed due to the president’s day holiday, but that someone would call me on Tuesday. He mentioned that my service would be expensive because of the style boiler that I have, but he could not give me an estimate, but assured me that someone in the office would call me the following day. Tuesday came & went, no call. Wednesday, nothing again. Thursday I called & spoke with a woman who answered the phone. I told her what had happened, she said she would call me back, no apology or anything. Yeah.... I will let you guess...yep, never heard from them. How do people do that?

My boyfriend made an appointment for 4pm. At 6pm with no courtesy call and no plumber, I asked my boyfriend to contact them and see if they were still coming since I'd been waiting a while and had a dinner reservation. Long story short, the plumber finally showed up 4 hours late with not a single tool in hand. He gave a quote and said he'd be back around 9am-12pm the next day. He never showed. No phone call, no apology. I'd rate this company zero stars if I could.
