Charged me $800 to snake the sewer main, then failed to close the pipe so it leaked all over our basement. The attention to detail was sorely lacking. When they returned to fix the problem they caused I had to argue them out of charging me for an “emergency weekend visit”. They didn’t want to take responsibility for their poor quality work.

They then told me I needed to steam clean the sewer main ($2000). I had 2 other local companies quote it for $850 and $900.

Not only are they bad at their job but they tried to con us into paying more than double the going rate for a service we didn’t really need.

My old toilet tank completely cracked and water was leaking out of the tank. I wanted to completely replace the whole toilet instead of waiting 2 days to replace the old tank. Tim the plumber ,completely replaced the old expensive toilet with a less expensive Kohler one. He was responsive, on time, and did a clean job.

I had a clogged drain that was causing wastewater backup in my basement. Luis came out that same evening and spent a couple hours snaking the drain from multiple places. It wasn’t straightforward and easy to clear the clog, but he was patient and stuck with it until we finally cleared the clog around 1am. There are cheaper services out there, but they did not pick up the phone on a Sunday night, or they would not send someone out until the morning. Luis helped me get our drain working again that same night.

They were extremely professional and courteous. I would absolutely use this group again.

I had a great experience with Boris Mechanical. I arrived at work on Sunday morning (February, 2015) to find an inch of water covering our floor. I called and a live person answered the phone. They were able to send a technician over in about an hour (pretty good for a Sunday!). The technician was very nice and efficient. The water had already covered a large area of our basement and was seeping out from underneath walls in multiple places. He diagnosed our problem very quickly (a busted and leaking water heater), but still completed a thorough inspection of the building to confirm. He was extremely patient with me, even when I was not exactly sure where the shut off for the main water line was. (He found it!) The technician removed the water, picked up and installed the new water heater and tested it to make sure it was working all within the same day. The building I work in is a Landmark building, so we were extremely grateful for Boris Mechanical's professionalism and efficiency. If the problem had not been resolved so quickly, we could have had a lot of structural issues and water damage. I definitely recommend this company.

We’re so glad we found Pemati Plumbing Services. There was a lot to figure out and Jack clearly explained all of our options and gave us some great ideas for how best to set everything up. I’m no plumber, but after talking to Jack I came away with a much better understanding of how the pipes in our house function. Jack installed the new pipes and hooked up the washer dryer so that by the time he left, we were running our very first load of laundry. I am a building manager and recommend Neo Plumbing to all the residents in the building. They do a quality job and are very professional. They are on time and always communicate in advance for any water shutoffs. Haven't heard any complaints about the quality of work from any owners so far.

Set up an appointment, they canceled the day of (it happens, no big deal). Rescheduled for two days later, called the morning of to confirm with them and they told me my appointment was priority. No one showed up, no one called to explain why, and when I called to follow up, I was directed to a call center (and not to actual personnel).

Kinda difficult to deal with.. naturally they want to push you to pay cash.. big mistake.. since the owner passed away theyve become extremely money hungry and clueless on how to conduct business... in a very very extreme emergency I guess but that's when they are the most petty.. smh.. owner great man.. rip.. the family 3 thumbs down.

Joe and his crew and office crew helped handle all the filings and dealing with the city agencies and inspectors and getting me my sign off's.
I couldn't have picked a better guy then Joe. He understood the process and I give him the utmost respect for putting up with my millions of questions and craziness.

I've left multiple voice messages with this company after they overcharged me for a basic plumbing issue. Their original work was poorly done, caused a leak and a potentially dangerous electrical issue that we had to call another company to handle. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I still haven't heard back from them.

They only seem to have an answering service but it's been impossible to talk to an actual person to deal with any customer service or billing issues.
