Big ole houses get big ole problems and whether it’s a toilet that backed up and flooded the basement late at night or a boiler that stopped working just as early season record topping cold temperatures hit, suspicious gas leak smells, frozen pipes that left us with no water to the kitchen and bathroom- whatever the problem, one call to the office and technicians are sent with the quickness. I love that I can explain what the issue is in layman’s terms, often incorrectly, to the reps on the phone and they always seem to understand what I am trying to say and clarify it for me so they can convey it to the technicians, specialists or supervisors and determine who they can dispatch asap. Our commercial building had a sprinkler water main feed cracked under the sidewalk. High pressure water was shooting out of the sidewalk joints and flooding our storage warehouse. I cold called JP and he was on site with a crew in one hour. He had the water shut off and started digging down to the busted pipe as soon as he got there.
He found the cracked pipe and put a clamp on it so that he could turn the sprinkler system feed back on. At the end of the day he left us in good shape. Our sprinkler system was back on line and we didn't need to call in a fire watch crew.
JP came back and made a permanent repair. He replaced a 70 year old lead valve with a new OSY valve and full new piping to our sprinkler system. The work was fully inspected and approved by DEP and NYC.
During the whole time of the job JP always returned my calls and kept me notified about his scheduling, the DEP and the roadway permits.
Doing street plumbing repairs in NYC is not an easy proposition. You better have somebody experienced who knows their business and knows what the rules are.

There was a leak issue with my sink pipe and I've reached out to Michael to obtain a quote. He offered a reasonable price and he showed up on time to do the work. He explained me to the problem at hand and went through the process on how to fix it. He tested the kitchen pipes multiple times before he left to ensure there was no issue. However, the pipe started leaking the same day again. When I informed him about it, he came back the same day to fix the problem. He retested it multiple times again and I've never had an issue since then. Michael was a professional through and through and I appreciate his honesty. I'll definitely be using him again!

We had American Leak Detection come at the recommendation of a plumbing co. They came to locate a leak causing a high water bill. They found no leak except a drip in a faucet. The water biter calling the county ll remained high, which I could not see until the next billing period. After calling the county water co, and them saying I MUST have a leak, I called this co. They did not return calls and when I finally got in touch with them, they refused to come back without the full $450 charge and when I asked to have the boss call, no one ever responded. ACsaid he didn't want to get the boss annoyed, and I responded that I guess he thought it was better to have an annoyed customer. And no one responded.
