I looked at multiple plumbing companies through manhattan who were able to apply for building permits and found Rite Plumbing to offer the most competitive price and fair. I needed to install a utility sink in my unit and it required going through a condo board that wasn't very helpful. Rite Plumbing was very responsive and helpful through this process, they answered and returned all my calls. The installation went smoothly and did not require any rescheduling.

Sal installed two faucets for us (one indoor, one outdoor) and replaced a stubborn radiator valve that had welded itself to the piping under the floor, a much bigger job than expected. A good guy, skillful, punctual, and reliable.

Phil Smith, our technician, showed up when he said he would, handled our flooded basement with a cheerful attitude despite the dire circumstances, and finished the job in a timely manner. We were so impressed with his work that we had him check out our sprinklers as well. Knowing what to do when you discover sewage water in your basement is a comforting feeling. I used Fred Smith Plumbing and Heating at the recommendation of the super of my building and I'm so glad I did. They removed an old bathroom vanity and installed a new one (and new fixtures). The job went faster than estimated and they did a top notch job. They even tighten a loose shower handle and kitchen faucet while they were there. Did I mention they did all of this during July 4th week?! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent plumbers in NYC.
