We had a leak in the basement after heavy rainfall and no one else would even return our calls. Roto-Rooter got right back to my husband and scheduled a visit ASAP. The technician Chris was exactly on time and very personable. He was able to access our situation and he even went out of his way to look in the basement of our shared wall neighbor to make sure the leak wasn’t coming from their side. He was knowledgeable, efficient and got the job done. I would have no problem recommending Roto-Rooter over a guy from the local paper, to anyone needing a plumber. It was nice to have the confidence in the years of service behind the name.

Sal solved all my problems and he was super attentive to my needs, Nothing to worry about when it comes to the quality of work.

I have used WaterHouse twice now. They are very responsive, track the case number easily and arrive on time. They work until the actual problem is fixed. And they listen/communicate very well on the issue/repair. They also helped my last min in a jam. I fully recommend any NYC'er to use this plumbing company.

Jerry and Kelly were right on time, did the work efficiently and well, tried to be as fast as possible since I told them we didn't have much $$ (a church!). They were a pleasure to work with.

I'll be honest. I've never really hired people who mostly have word of mouth reviews. I usually do intense research and checks. I was sketchy at first, but let me say, it was amazing. I had a severe emergency in my boiler room, heat not working and all, and in hours my house nice and cozy. I would recommend this plumber to anybody in need of any assistance!

Denton Dias from Vigilante was terrific: called ahead to let me know he was coming, solved the problem quickly, answered my questions about how I can take care of the problem myself if it recurs, and was friendly and a pleasure to work with throughout. Vigilante as a business is a little more expensive sometimes, but every interaction I have had with any of the people who work there has been spot on--well worth it. Never had to have them come back to fix something a second time.

They are absolutely the best. They keep time and they explain everything before they do it! The crew is great and they really cleaned up everything before they left! They are amazing I recommend them!

I had a bathroom faucet that had completely seized up. Mike responded very quickly to my message and was able to fit me in the next day. He was right on time, professional, took all safety precautions and was able to fix the faucet saving me having to replace the whole thing. He will be the first one I call the next time I need a plumber!

I've left multiple voice messages with this company after they overcharged me for a basic plumbing issue. Their original work was poorly done, caused a leak and a potentially dangerous electrical issue that we had to call another company to handle. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I still haven't heard back from them.

They only seem to have an answering service but it's been impossible to talk to an actual person to deal with any customer service or billing issues.

I literally sprung a leak in my kitchen by way of a 1/2” black pipe plug into a brass three-way nipple.
Not knowing that these two different materials shouldn’t be mixed together for an installation this created my problem.

This setup was put together for a future dishwasher in this area for hot & cold lines. Unfortunately the plug threads inside the three-way nipple corroded & broke off the black plug causing excessive water springing horizontally everywhere. After quickly shutting off the main water shut-off I had to call for help.
I called the Plumbing Squad 24 hr # which transferred me to local plumbers on there list who are available 24 hrs. I spoke to Patrice, quickly described my problem over the phone & he quoted me a price.
It was expensive but reasonable given the predicament I was in.

He arrived in around an hour. He was very polite, courteous & respectful. After showing him the job he consulted me on any final decisions alterations. We agreed & he got his tools & began working.
He cut out the 2x three-way nipples, installed 2x new ball valves & fitted 2x new small copper pipes pcs to slip over & connect both lines. Patrice knew what he was doing & calmed my urgencies down.
He had all his tools & materials needed for his job. I was impressed & want everyone else to know he’s good ppl & this company is really a lifesaver !!!

I will never forget this & have already considered Patrice for my future jobs coming up.

Preston, one of the family business owners, was very concerned about an issue I had. He was responsive , listened and empathized. I am most impressed by his curtesy and willingness to rectify to my satisfaction, which he most certainly did.

I trie to use this business. I called 3 times to confirm the appointment. I even agreed to pay there ridiculous fee to send someone to inspect my ac. Day of appointment I get a call saying there was never a appointment today. Poor planning and scheduling. And even poorer customer service
