I called several plumbing companies a few months ago because I had a leak on the ceiling directly beneath our roof. While several plumbers provided quotes for coming to assess the problem, this company chose to carefully explain the source of the leak over the phone before concluding that it wasn't likely to be a plumbing problem. They were correct, it wasn't, and they helped me save both time and money. When I actually had a leak in one of my pipes, it was clear how much the candor and helpful information meant. I immediately contacted this company, and Harold the plumber was one of their friendliest employees. Harold was not only very professional, but he also took the time to walk me through each pipe and explain where the water flowed. He was very knowledgeable about codes and answered all of my questions. I appreciate everyone's help; we will be seeing him again soon to help us update our water heater.

They installed a water pressure pump in my apartment and wouldn't come to service it . Said it would take a couple of weeks when I asked for someone competent.

IMP is our go to vendor for all plumbing and heating maintenance and repairs. We have multiple commercial and residential properties throughout the city, and they’ve never let me down. IMP or bust - side note - Ariel, Melissa and Maryann are the absolute best. They make the business! They keep me on task and make sure everything is taken care of accordingly. 20 stars.

This is not a responsible business, poor quality, they will go after your money, not your business. They wanted to replace a good boiler because they didn't want to do the dirty work to maintain it. My gas boiler shut off and I tried to get them to fix it (rollout switch was going of due to flame rollout). Two guys came without any tools to inspect my boiler, I thought that they would get me fixed during that appointment. They started the boiler and confirmed flame rollout and checked my chimney if it has draft. Next they told me that I need a new boiler and that they will send me a quote. I waited for a day without response, called them and the lady told me that she will call me right back. I haven't heard from them in a week. They charged me $277 for the initial appointment which lasted about 20 min. So if I relied on them then I would have no heat for at least a week. In the mean time I cleaned the boiler and replaced the rollout switch and it now works fine. Forget this company and use somebody else.

I've been struggling with my bathroom sink leaking for the past month and my apartment did a horrible job fixing it, which just made the leak worse. I called up today and requested service, and thankfully Neha was able to find the time slot that works with my crazy schedule. The plumber came today - found out what was causing the leak, fixed it, cleaned up and double-checked to make sure all was good. The entire process took less than an hour. Really recommend!

I had them replace a gas line to a washer. Went ok, but then I needed 2 water valves replaced. They quoted me 639$! I got a second opinion and the guy quoted me 130$ for the same job. While he was back there he smelled gas, turns out they didn’t seal the gas line properly, it was still leaking. Dangerous and expensive to work with these guys.

I hired RXP based on reviews online. They showed up at the agreed time. The technician who came asked to understand the issue I was having. Gave me options and started working on it, he made sure that I fully understand everything he was doing. Work is clean, professional, cleaned up after themselves, pleasant to chat with and explained the work. I'd use RXP again for sure.

1. They NEVER SHOW UP--they came recommended by a neighbor, so despite the reviews, I called them. They didn't bother to show up to the first appointment, after I called them, they rescheduled for the next day, and they were FOUR HOURS LATE.
2. They were UNABLE to fix my problem when they did show up--clicking radiators, which I had explained over the phone.
3. They never got back to me with a replacement estimate despite THREE follow up phone calls from my end.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and UNSKILLED LABORERS!

Had the most pleasant experience with this company when my building management was being absolutely horrid. Actually the best, moved stuff around for us and accommodated with the multitudes of red tape my building has. Wayne was the best he arrived ten minutes early and stayed in the lobby for a whole hour because of paperwork issues and was just so nice and patient. And he got everything done efficiently and well timed. Could not recommend a better service.

Awful place. They keep standing me up. They make me clear my schedule, and then when they're an hour late, telling me they're not coming. It's so disrespectful and frustrating. The radiator replacement job has also ballooned from $1,500 to about $3,750.
The only way to reach the man in charge of the job, Dom, is to call the office at 8am. If you call at 9am, he's gone for the rest of the day and you'll just play more phone tag. He doesn't have a cell phone, apparently.
I'm so furious with these people. The cost ballooning is bad enough, but the lack of basic consideration for my time and schedule is so infuriating.
Update: The plumber, George, let our cat out the front door and locked it out. He then didn't tell us he had done this. My wife found the cat waiting at the door later. If you have cats, you know how messed up it is for somebody to let your cat out into the street. When I told him about this, he said I only saw one cat which was both untrue and wasn't an apology. Who cares if you didn't realize we have two cats? Don't let cats out. He and his assistant had seen both cats the day before and said it was fine to have them out. They didn't give us any warning that they were coming into that room the next day so we couldn't have locked the cats up anyway.
They almost killed our cat and charged us about 120% more than they quoted. Horrible company.
