Quick & professional! We were having some issues with some basement plumbing. After a quick chat with Jim he thought it may be a partial blockage & suggested a Norblom drain cleaning appointment. Zack arrived promptly for our early AM appointment to clean out our drains. After Zack & my husband added some elbow grease to remove an old stubborn drain cover, Zack found the clog & got us back in business quickly. We are happy with Norblom's service & would use them again.

These guys were responsive. I called them to request an emergency appointment, Shane (the technician) called me that same evening and told me he would be at my home at 8am the very next day. He showed up one minute to 8am, right on time. As he resolved my issue, he explained to me every step he took to determine and solve the problem. A real pro. I signed up for their plumbing subscription and saved dollars on day one, and I have them at a discount for the next year. A real no-brainer. Thanks very much Shane.

Repaired my shower valve that had snapped off at the stem. With patience and persistence, Tim removed the old valve from the shower and replaced it with a new one. David suggested I replace my secondary shut off valve down in the basement. I could tell he had my best interest in mind and agreed to have the handle replaced. This business is family owned and these guys are top notch.

Mark is simply amazing. He is knowledgeable, respectful and dedicated. He installed a water heater for me and did an amazing job. He showed up on time and did the job in a timely matter. He offered to come back if anything happens and even stayed to debug a problem I was having with my softener. Highly recommended.

2017 I did Phase I of a big renovation and spent 19K with Steinkraus and when I got the bill I asked for back up documentation to support the invoice and was given the run around and an answer well we aren't the cheapest plumbers and we need to cover overhead. When we started Phase II we really like the plumber and thought let's give them a second try and asked for another person to be our contact. They sent the owner Merle and he did a bid which we signed but stated we were concerned that some of Phase III might be included but were told don't worry we will be fair and take care of you. When I got the 17K bill I had kept track of all the hours. I am about 5K in the dark how they came up with the total and they refuse to itemize the invoice. My advise is if you work with them it is time and materials and you ask for documentation. The time spent on site for Ryan was a total of 67 x $135.00 = $9045.00 plus $1000.00 Material plus fixtures $2440.00 =$12, 485.00. Even if you added on a 20% management fee it still would be below the $17,210.00 invoice I received. So basically they charged me $205.00 an hour? I just wish they felt the need to walk me through all the charges but they have no interest. The good news we think our plumber was great just not the front office. The bad news is we have Phase III and can't use them. 5 Stars for plumbing!
