Best General Repairs in Minneapolis MN

I had some major issues with the floor drain in my basement and mechanical room sink.
Rotoworks showed up quickly and got both problem areas fixed ASAP! They were a pleasure to work with and they take electronic payment, I find paying bills via the mail to be cumbersome and time consuming.

I’ve also used them for other less intensive issues and they were also awesome to work with.

I’d hire them again in the future, without question, in fact I trust them to be in my residence without supervision!

Chad and Charles were absolutely amazing people. Their communication skills were off the charts I knew what was going on at all times. What a great company! I messed up the timing of an appointment and they kindly agreed to reschedule. Came to my house and gave me a free assessment of the work that needed to be done. He was honest and professional, and I will definitely be requesting their service again if I need additional work done!

I've used Dean's for a couple of home appliance repairs - my water softener/heater & furnace/AC unit. I've had zero to no complains on my water appliances, but I had my furnace/AC replaced back in 2021 and have had to make 4 calls on it to have it serviced (Once for AC, other times for my Furnace). Between paying what I paid for that unit brand new, you would think that I would've had little issues with it. It's not assuring when you have no idea how your unit is going to act up - and it adds unwanted stress.Either learn your product or get your technicians familiar with it. One thing Dean's does well is making sure you're satisfied with your service, they'll call you or text you after the fact and make sure you leave a good review, but since my install with my HVAC system I've been nothing but dissatisfied. I just want what I paid for my appliance to work as they should. I shouldn't have to run a little space heater in my utility closet to keep my unit from freezing over - and I can't run it unattended while I'm gone. For a small townhome that I have, I shouldn't be having all of these problems with my unit. Extremely disappointed for being a Dean's Club Member.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Matt's plumbing. The plumber was 3 hours late. Upon arrival, he did not take his shoes off or ask if I minded. Next, he briefly viewed my shower where the leak was coming from. The plumber did not remove the face plate to look further. Further, he went over to my wall where a face plate is and cut it open. The plumber quickly determined that I need a full replacement to fix the leak and it would be $1,295. He asked me to give him $400 and then $895 when the repairs were complete. Alas, he said I would need to call a carpenter to repair my wall. I gave him the service fee of $65 and asked him to leave. After having a second plumber come out, they were able to look behind the face plate in my shower and repair the leak for SIGNIFICANTLY less money. I feel that Matt's plumbing did not even try to fix the issue before cutting into my wall. Also, the 2nd plumber who did the repair fixed my wall for me, which was very nice and not required on their behalf. Overall, I would never use their service again and feel I was being taken advantage of.

We hired Blaylock to help us put another bathroom into our home, in our basement. Chad was amazing to work with, always on time and super professional. I HIGHLY recommend Blaylock!

I hired Do It Right to fix a Leakey shower. not only did they fix the issue, but pointed out potential future issues, that I can fix myself, to ensure that this does not happen again. a huge help! 5 stars all the way!

Did not receive a service from this company, however, one of the employees from this company was driving very recklessly on the road during rush hour in the rain. He tailgated me and cut off other drivers while speeding. He also pulled up next to me and was disrespectful by trying to intimidate me by scowling at me. If this company can't teach their employees professionalism and ethical conduct on the road, there is no way they would provide quality service!

Charged us $100.00 for a service call to attend to a leaky refrigerator. Did not have the needed parts and said they would order and return. 10 weeks and many unreturned phone calls later we gave up and called Thomas Service Company. Thomas Service Company had parts available and fixed frig in under 15 minutes.
Plus Maintenance is unreliable and unprofessional and we would never use them again nor recommend.

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,
