Dickenschrauf has bailed me out multiple times and was able to complete work other plumbing companies couldn't do. They will continue to be my first call for any plumbing needs.

I always wait a few weeks after having major work done to see how a company responds during the inevitable follow-up period. I'm happy to report that Hartlaub did great and was responsive for a couple things that came up in the next week or so and I have had a fantastic experience with them from start to finish. A few weeks ago I had Angel out to check out what I was hoping was a minor issue but deep down suspected much more was going on with the plumbing system in the house we bought last year. As suspected the job ended up being a bit of a emergency and Hartlaub was able to rearrange their schedules so they could do the work that week which I really appreciated. Everyone was personable and friendly and able to explain things to me in an easy to understand way and they kept me updated throughout. Over the week I had Angel, Jeff, Jack, Benny and Al and everyone was universally great.

Their billing process was a little confusing when I first called but I came to appreciate it because once they quote you something the price doesn't ever change no matter what comes up. Yes, they probably are higher priced than some other operations but plumbing is expensive because it's a hard job. They do seem to schedule based on the criticality of your job which I certainly benefited from but on the other hand it took nearly 2 weeks for them to come back to fix a running toilet which seemed long since I was supposed to be getting priority scheduling. In the end though I understoodd. A running toilet is not a crisis and since it was ultimately considered warranty work on the initial job they didn't charge me which I appreciated.

I also had Michael out from their HVAC group to check over our furnace and he was friendly and pleasant as well. We will continue to use Hartlaub for services going forward.

In for a faucet repair and clogged drains. They move the schedule around to make my job a priority. Thank you.

Omer installed a new water heater and humidifier. Also had my furnace and AC serviced. Very thorough and catches problems before they turn into an expensive repair.

I cannot remember a time when our family has not depended on The Knauer Family for the handling of our plumbing and heating/cooling needs. We have found them to be always extremely dependable, knowledgeable, efficient, honest, and friendly. To the best of my knowledge there has never been an incident when we were disappointed. Had an initial bad experience with one of their techs. We talked with the owner who was apologetic and offered to have a different tech come out and take a look at our problem. The next tech came out and was able to help us while also being polite. It’s good to know there are still companies out there that care about their customers and customer satisfaction/service. The owner was very nice to work with and talk with.

Only fixed one of our two problems and overcharged

I have the company come to my home for 2 issues. 1 was to install a water heater. No problem there. 2-clogged sewage pipe. 1st time an employee comes; doesn't have the right snake with him. The snake they use isn t big enough for the diameter of the pipe. Was told it might clog again. Charges me full price. Pipe clogs a week later. Employee comes back and clear it again. Charges me approx. $50 less than first trip. Employee tells me that if it happens again, I might have to have the pipe replaced. Pipe clogs again. I call and was quoted a price $100 more than the first trip. I explain that I'd rather have the pipe replaced. He then comes to my home and gives me a verbal estimate-my 2nd mistake. Tells me 1 guy all day....another guy here most of the day. If the 2nd one doesn't have to be here all day I'll get a credit. Employee comes @830am. He's here alone for 71/2 hours. No other employee shows up. NEVER GOT CREDITED. I WILL NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN!. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the water heater installment and the pipe replacer was nice.
