I called ACS because the humidity in the house is much higher than the humidity setting in the thermostat.The tech told me the air conditioner was working fine and in order to lower the humidity we need to lower the temp in the house. I don't think he understood the issue until I showed him the 'dehumidify' settings in the thermostat.Then it was Good question.After I paid the $130 pre-agreed-to trip charge, they asked for another $250 to call and find out if the furnace has a dehumidifier or what the setting is for.$400 for a phone call to tech support is a bit much, so I refused that service and paid the trip charge. On the balance sheet we're square, but I don't see how I got any value from the transaction.They've done thousands of dollars of work for us, but I'll certainly shop around next time.And since I'm so ticked, I'd also state that a few months after they installed a hot water heater I smelled gas and had to call the fire dept. to come find and fix a leak in the lines – it was indeed in a line to the hot water heater.

We inquired about bathtub replacement. They were quick to respond and Derek came out to look at our project. We felt comfortable with Derek and the guidance he was giving us. We agreed that he would send us quotes and information related to our project within the next 10 days. After two weeks (and not hearing from Derek), I sent an email asking when would could expect the quotes. He responded immediately saying he would send it by the end of that day for sure. It has been 4 weeks since that last email and we have received nothing. This is very disappointing. We would not feel confident in working with a company that is unwilling to send updates keeping us informed about our project. If they were letting us know that they needed more time it would be more acceptable. Over promising and under delivering (or in our case Not delivering at all) is not acceptable.
