Their plumber came on time and gave me a great service as he repaired my blocked toilet at a very affordable price yesterday. He handled the situation well, and I felt comfortable with his approach. Miguel and his crew did a fantastic job repiping all of our water supply pipes with Uponor pex (2.5 bathroom + kitchen/laundry), replacing our hose bibs & a shower head, as well as repairing the damaged drywall / stucco. Even our city inspector admired their plumbing work. I highly recommend them.

One month ago I had my biggest nightmare so far as a home owner - the ghostly sound of water moving through the pipes with no faucets open. Through experimentation I isolated the leak to a hot water pipe. The worst news came from a leak finder service -the leak was in the concrete slab. All options were bad - reroute one pipe through several rooms/outside, break open the floor and jackhammer the foundation, or reroute all of our pipes. Our house is only 30 years old and has all copper pipes but, given there had been a previous leak in our home as well as our neighbor's identical home, we decided to go with a whole home repiping.

I got 5 quotes for repiping and I chose Miguel because:

IMO, when you're doing major house surgery, you have to trust the person you're working with as you just can't be on top of 100% of what's happening. Miguel wasn't the cheapest quote, but there were good reasons for that and he worked with me on the price.

For the job itself, Miguel was there every day. It took 2 days (day 1 repiping, day 2 drywall) as well as a couple of small visits for permits. Both crews were able to accommodate my small requests as they came up day of around plumbing and patching. The pictures below show the care Miguel & team took with my home (see the ET-like covering of everything with plastic), the quality supplies they used, as well as the excellence of the finished job both in plumbing and drywall. The city inspector was pleased with the work and signed off immediately.

All of my water fixtures are now working perfectly and the drywall is an exact match for the texture of the existing walls. Now just to get some paint and finish up! I am so happy this nightmare has come to an end.

My kitchen sink was backing up and so I called 2 companies. Rooter Hero had a deal going on so I had them come out. When they got here, they said I had 2 issues and wouldn't go through the trap on the outside of the house because he was nervous it would break. Their quote was $426.
My neighbor had me call Sal's and Thomas came out that same day. Thomas knew exactly what to do and didn't see any issue with the bathroom, like Rooter Hero's did (an added $142).

Thomas was honest and didn't give me any BS. He did his magic and was on his way in less than an hour for $200 less. I had asked about another reputable company that services the south bay and Thomas said they were also a great company that even tried to recruit him before. He said he wouldn't leave Sal's because he was a great boss who always supplies them with the tools they need. I'm sold, Sal's will be my plumbers from now on. Thank you, Thomas!!

Last December we had a nightmare situation in our new 1st home and Chad and Edwin were great. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. They guided us through the whole home insurance debacle and even though home insurance didn’t cover it, they made the ordeal bareable. Edwin was awesome and he was very comfortable to be around. For Moms with young kids it’s really important to feel safe with the people they let into their homes.

Two days before Thanksgiving 1/3 of the house flooded and I called Chad freaking out. He had Rene come out and he was awesome. Rene was efficient and thorough. He came out an hour after I called and had made sure the problem was resolved by literally checking each drain and faucet in the house.
