We had an issue with our kitchen sink that we could not fix on our own. Called Prodigy Plumbing and they sent someone out the next day. They called ahead of time to let us know they were coming and Luis was prompt and very professional. We appreciated the COVID-19 safety precautions they took. Not only was Luis friendly, he was knowledgeable and quick. He took a look at all our plumbing and we didn't feel like he was trying to force additional services. When I heard water dripping under my home I knew I must’ve had a pretty decent leak. I immediately went to Yelp and found Prodigy Plumbing had great ratings so I requested a quote from them and two other companies. Prodigy was the first to reply and said they could come out immediately. Their technician Luis was on time, personable and knowledgeable. What I thought was going to be super expensive and extensive repair ended up being simple and very reasonable. I thought we were going to need to re-pipe the house but he said with the exception of the pipe that had the leak, everything else looked fine. I also asked him if he had time to look at a wet wall behind the toilet and that also was fixed easily and quickly. I can’t say enough about Prodigy. I’m grateful for their honest treatment and fast response time. We will definitely be recommending them and using them for all of our plumbing needs.

Had them come out and put a liner in my main drain to the house. The old line had roots in it and was 75 years old. Jose, Rafa and Sal came in and were friendly and professional. They worked hard and knocked the job out. Definitely recommend.

Alexis Gomez is an awesome plumber. He fixed everything that needed fixing (leaking faucets) and he replaced our garbage disposal. He was clean and he made sure I was happy with his work before he left. He also listened to my story about taking care of my 91 1/2 year old mother who has stage 4 cancer. Alexis showed empathy and kindness and spoke to me as a fellow human, not just as a customer. I highly recommend Alexis and would not hesitate to call him again, even though the prices at Prodigy are a little high. The first plumber they sent to us was not clean and he didn’t do a good job of fixing the faucet… that’s why we called back and got Alexis. If you call Prodigy, ask for Alexis… and tell him Alicia sent you!

Prodigy Plumbing responded quickly. David was very nice and tried to figure out what could be wrong with our water heater.

Very old water heater started leaking at one of my rentals. Called Prodigy Plumbing at 8:00 am. They arrived at 9:00 am and finished installing a new Bradford Water Heater with new steel stand by 12:00 pm. Prodigy did not give the lowest estimate, but if you want a plumber to start in 1 hour and finish by lunch time, this is the company to call. The two man crew were professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I supervised the work from start to finish and was happy with their service. They also had a $75 for $100 deal from Yelp!

I called Prodigy for a water leak in my upstairs bathroom shower. Mark answered the phone and took down all the information about the problem I described to him and said he could have a technicians come to the house and see what the problem was.

Couple hours later the technician Luis came and did his investigation and determined the leak was from the area around the trip lever stopper. Luis was kind enough to just apply some caulk around the stopper plate. Hopefully that stopped the leak, will find out in the next couple days when the shower can be used again. Luis was prompt in arriving to the house within the 2-hrs window and went straight to his troubleshooting and quickly identified the problem. Thank you Luis, very much appreciated! Mark, thank you too!

Another amazing experience with Prodigy Plumbing! This time with Lexo! Lexo showed up on time and was very professional. He assessed the problem in a matter of seconds... yes you read that right... seconds! He went to his truck to grab a tool and came back. Just like that, my kitchen leak was gone! We purchased a new toilet and needed to get it installed and also needed a new valve. We contacted Prodigy Plumbing due to their great reviews. The woman that answered the phone was very pleasant. She was able to get us on the schedule the same day. We had the technician, Ozzy. He was punctual and professional. He was able to replace our valve and install our new toilet that day. To begin with, Mark who answer the phone call initially was fantastic off the bat. Mark was able to set up a same day appointment for the issue on hand. Then there was Bob the plumbing technician who arrived punctual between the timeframe Mark initially gave from 12 to 2 PM. When Bob or push the door Bob was very very friendly and very energetic. Bob was a very easy person and easy-going to talk to which made it easier for me to explain the situation I had. Bob was able to assess and explain how he will help me fix the situation and give me a very veryReasonable quote and he started to work very promptly. I was at work and had an emergency at my house where I required a 5-star company to install a gas pipe. Based upon the reviews, I called Prodigy Plumbing Inc. who responded immediately. They sent their tech, Tony, who was professional, knowledgeable, but most importantly, he stepped me through the entire process as to the work that he would be performing by phone. Prodigy Plumbing Inc. will be my go-to-company for any future plumbing needs.

We initially called prodigy plumbing to diagnose a hammering problem in a multi-unit property we manange. We hired two plumbers prior to calling Prodigy and both were unsuccessful in solving and repairing the problem correctly because we continued to have hammering. Finally, when Prodigy came, the did a thorough assessment of the home, found the problem and also a crack in the main pipe. We felt so confident in this team that we decided to repair all plumbing problems found including a RE-drain. This was a hefty job that no one wants to do, but we knew we found the right company. Their customer service plus financing options really helped make this a smooth transaction. Alberto was the main lead in this job and I couldn't be happier with how everything was executed. From start to finish, he made sure I was aware of all the details and made sure to keep me informed along with the tenants. Working with 3 sets of tenants during repair work is never easy, but he helped make it happen. Him and his team were efficient and genuinely concerned about our situation. When I told them I had a limited window of time for the repair, they formed a team and got the job done. They did an amazing job and took care of us. I called Prodigy Plumbing Inc for a severely backed up sewer system that was back flowing into the shower in my rental house. Mark was over at the house within an hour with a great quote, and performed the work quickly and cleanly. Prodigy is awesome and I for sure will be using them again!

I have been using Prodigy Plumbing for years, and Matt has saved me on many occasions. The latest was this weekend when the shower wouldn't shut off completely and I had water coming out. They came out the next day which I appreciated. They had a very expensive option which I did not want to do so he came up with a plan B that was not guaranteed but he worked the drain for two hours until he could clear it which saved me about $500. I really appreciate the effort and the honesty of doing the less expensive job until it worked. And my drain is working great through the rains. I will definitely call him for the next plumbing job I have.

Had a stove gas line restructured and a cold water filter installed to refrigerator. After all was said and done we had to fix the leak that was created from the water filter. Service man did not check for any leaks at the time. Used a metal clasp for a plastic/rubber tubing. Metal tore through the tubing.

They told me two hours and that’s exactly how long it took. They also saved me $100 by being able to reuse a part that was still in good condition. Bonus: they also used vinegar to clean up some calcium deposits around my faucet, most plumbers don’t do that. Great experience, highly recommended! :)

I had called a plumber who couldn't fix a slow draining bathtub and was going to charge me $3500 to replace the pipe entirely.

I called Prodigy for a 2nd opinion, and they unclogged the drain in about 2 minutes for under $100.

Quick professional repair. Company adjusted their schedule to accommodate our emergency. Super friendly professional repair. They are now my “go to” plumber.

First time I use this plumbing company . Did not know what to expect since I never used them. What can I say my problem was solved by Luis. He explained my problem and fixed it right away. Prodigy did a great job putting a new sewer line into our new house. Our old clay line was so bad they had to put a new one in. They were able to do it with minimal impact to our yard. The crew was great, and they worked hard to get it done on one of the hottest days. We haven't had a sewer problem since, and I was told the previous owners were snaking the drain every few months.
I also had them run a drain and water for an outdoor shower at the same time and they did an amazing job.

Ozzy showed up within five minutes of the appointment time and had the problem fixed within 20 minutes. The office called a couple hours ahead to remind (as if we could forget the watery mess all over the bathroom floor, lol!) He advised us on additional issues we will have to take care of in the future but did not pressure us at all. The price was fair and our headache is gone!

I would get a few quotes for price. I'm sure they do great work, but they were twice as much from our usual plumber when getting a second quote for replacing all of our cast iron drainage.

When you need it done right call Mark and his team at Prodigy. After moving into our new house our tankless water heater was shutting down every few days, the first plumbing company from our home warranty company came out and looked at it couldn't decipher the problem. Mark's team (Matt) came out and figured out that the original installation was done improperly, they made the corrections and no problem since. Honest good work still exists!

I called Prodigy Plumbing which I found on Yelp in the am and was happy someone could come out the same day. Robert called letting me know he was 15 min away and again letting me know he was here. Nice as opposed to someone flaky. He had to break through 2 spots in my ceiling to find the issue. One in the garage ceiling and another in my living room ceiling. He was patient and cleaned up the mess. Wishfully thinking and hoping he would patch up, but at least Robert had a referral and arranged for him to come the same time when they come back to fix my pipes to give me a free quote. I originally thought it was the tub upstairs, but after running both bathroom’s faucets and showers, it was the toilet pipe. We’ve arranged the work to be done in 2 days, so hope all goes well.

This is my third time using prodigy and all three time I give them five stars. From start to finish they are polite, dependable and gave me a fair price. An all around top notch contractor in my book.

The best and honest

Had an emergency on a Sunday morning. The tech came in for an estimate but could not give me one. He did plug the hole on the pipe. I was told I would get a call later on that Sunday. Did not get a call until Tuesday morning and only because I texted the person I originally spoke with. Another tech came in Tuesday afternoon and gave me an estimate. He ended up doing less than originally thought. In looking at what was done, no way it is 470 dollars worth of work. I should have been given another estimate but I was in dire need to be back up and running. So, my experience was not a good one and I feel I was way overcharged.

Luis was very professional and honest ! He didn’t charge us for his visit as we didn’t have An issues. A lot of companies charge a flat fee just to take a look. I will for sure recommend Prodigy to all my family and friends !! Very happy!

Very professional and timely. Explained what they were doing and took the time to go over several different issues while at my home.

What I like about this company is that they seem honest and do quality work. I’ve had them work in my family’s house and their quotes are always detailed and much more reasonable that other quotes that I’ve received from other businesses who appear to have quoted me solutions that were not necessary and more expensive. Obviously, Prodigy Plumbing is looking for repeat customers, and I think they achieve that goal.

Prodigy Plumbing repaired and lined 60 feet of sewer line from the clean out to the street. Whole lot roots. Ozzy came out and ran a camera down the line. Showed me the problem. Gave me quote. Gave me options. Gave Ozzy the go ahead and started on a Tuesday and finished on Wednesday the next day. Just like to say thank you for the professional work that was done in a timely manner. All Prodigy employees that I dealt with were very nice and knowledgeable.

I’ve been using prodigy plumbing for quite some time now. They are always extremely professional and easy to communicate with. Although prodigy is updating some of their prices right now, it’s easy to have a conversation to walk things through. Overall, I was pleased. We had major work done. A bit expensive but the workers were very professional. We asked if they could hook up a new bathroom faucet. Hector the lead guy came to do it. I was not home my brother handled it. Apparently Hector could not connect the faucet to our vanity and was frustrated saying we needed to get a new one. I can deal with that but he left that day without putting the old faucet back on and for 2 and a half weeks I had no sink. negligent. He also wouldn't give us a member price which was mentioned on the bill claiming we already got a big discount.

As always, very professional and on time. Marvil gave me options and detailed the plan to change my water heater filter, descale the system, and inspect the home. The work had to be scheduled for a later date, but I am confident they will be as professional and outstanding as they were when they had done extensive work to my home in the past.

WOW! We had a great experience with Jerry N. and the whole Prodigy Plumbing team! The company provides the tools and support to the field team to make it easy for customers! On time and clear communication throughout our process of getting a quote and doing the work (full PEX house re-pipe and re-drain).
The field team is what really impressed me. Jerry N. was our lead and it went so smoothly! He helped guide us in the right direction and they made sure we weren't too put-out during the work. I felt safe with Jerry and the team in the home, everyone was courteous and friendly! But the 5 stars really goes to JERRY and the stelar customer service from start to finish!

We have used Prodigy Plumbing in the past and have gotten excellent service. They unclogged our sink for $99, just as advertised. This time, however, we were not as pleased.

We called them for a clogged kitchen sink.
Luis came and briefly looked at our pipes and noticed a small leak. He told us that he could tell from looking at the pipes that if he took them apart to try to fix the clog/leak that they would almost certainly fall apart and have to be replaced, which would cost about $400.

We were not trying to spend that kind of money, but Luis said that taking the pipes apart would be necessary to fix the clog. We said No thanks and he left without charging us and without doing any work.

My husband talked to another plumber who looked at the clog and recommended a liquid to use to clear it (not Drano, the strong stuff). The bottle of liquid cost $13 and the plumber charged $25 for his advice and assistance. We were able to clear the clog, and once the clog was cleared the leak also went away.

I think that a person's experience with Prodigy may depend a lot on which individual plumber they get.

Tony went above and beyond, just from the initial phone call. He was incredibly helpful and friendly and was able to explain things in a manner that was understandable to this layman.
Once on site, he was considerate and professional and walked me through everything he saw/was doing. He even explained each step in case I needed to do a quick repair myself, in the future.
I had called 6 different plumbers for my emergency and I’m glad tony was the one that picked up. I will definitely be using Prodigy for future work and highly recommend others do the same.

Quote was $3300 just to swap out a 50 gal water heater...they think people don't do research before calling ...what a joke. Went with Fast Water Heater instead with the same exactly tank for half the price. Super nice and clean less than 1hr to completed. The repair man was fully licensed. Don't pay 3 grands for a 50 gal water heater unless you got some major repairs to be made.

We had a clean out and a sleeve put in our sewer line by Freddy and Jose from Prodigy Plumbing last week and were completely satisfied with the work. They were very professional, punctual and and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and let us know the process from start to finish. It was a large undertaking and they finished and had the place clean within the day. I would recommend Ver highly Prodigy and their workers for any project on this scale.

Edgar did an excellent job taking care of our water heater which needed a few fixes. If anything else water heater related comes up, I do plan on using the same service again.

Each person I spoke to sounded like they were happy to be at work and talk to me about the issues I was having. The recommendations proposed were reasonable and they were willing to work with you on whichever was decided. The two technicians provided options as well, which is very convenient. The trip to the plumbing store to pick up parts was fairly quick and the install was quick.

The most important aspect that i liked most was that they provided photos before and after with your receipt, which is emailed to you.

The best word I can use to describe David and the team at Prodigy Plumbing is that they’re honest. They brought a good team of technicians to basically update my old corroded pipes and fixtures. Now my gas lines are new and have an accessible logical layout. I had their tech come out to identify a problem with my tankless water heater. It involved more than they anticipated since it would require disassembly of the unit so I was referred to a tankless specialist by them. I appreciate their honesty and service call of which there was no charge. I would use them in the future for other plumbing needs.

Our plumber was Manny and he was fantastic. He showed up much earlier than we expected, he was professional and thoughtful the entire time he was here. Plumbing always makes us a little nervous but he made the whole experience very easy.

I also really liked that there was no up sale of services, they were very clear about pricing and Manny was not only fast and efficient he was tidy! We were expecting a big mess from previous experiences, but Manny was great. He explained everything really well and was genuinely fantastic.

I called and asked for estimate on work that needed to be done. The estimate came back almost double of the other 2 estimates. I reviewed the work and materials to make sure it was an apple to apples comparison.

During the process, I received a follow-up call from a customer service QA rep. Very friendly and encouraged feedback. When I told him we were going to compare their estimate with that of 2 other companies he immediately asked if they could come back to potentially give a better price. Really? So...you didn't give me your best price the first time? OK, sure. He then talked up the gentleman who would be coming out. Said he was the sales manager and really knew his stuff. Great.

We scheduled this. But when the guy called prior to arriving he didn't know why he was coming and was asking ME? What is it you want me to come look at again? Did you just want a second set of eyes? Unbelievable! I told him that if I needed to tel him why he was coming...I didn't need him to come. No thank you. We're good. He just said Oh, ok. Well sorry you feel that way. Bye. Never heard from them again.

I did a big work in 2019, repiped the whole house with pex, no more pipes inside the slab. Whenever y call related to this job, the response is fast and they do it under warranty. Christian came yesterday, as the hot water faucet was leaking, and noticed that the box for the faucets in the laundry room was not done, as was indicated by the contract. He stop the leaking first.
Then he went to get the box, however other parts were needed, so he came back today, on time, to complete the job.
I also asked to do a drain cleaning, as my kitchen sink was not letting the water go as it should. Christian has very good maners and open to question and suggestions. He did a great job.

Prodigy Plumbing is an excellent company based on customer service, response time, workmanship, and professionalism. Prodigy Plumping a company were work ethics are valued. They're honest, reliable, dependable, punctual & professional. There was a hissing sound on the wall of my room and water was coming up from the bathroom floor, I couldn't figure out what was going on and I was in a panic. Mark responded to the service call and told me not to worry that everything would be alright. He took care of the problem and fixed the broken pipe on wall. Did a wonderful job for my 90 year old mother but she lacks a receipt for what they did

It all started with a clogged toilet. I tried all the normal home remedies for unclogging the drain without chemicals. I finally decided to contact a professional. I called Prodigy Plumbing after reading their reviews on Yelp.. Ozzy arrived on time and attempted to clean out the drain using a snake from the roof vent. After several tries he was not able to get the snake through. Ozzy grabbed his camera and ran it down the vent. Fast forward... it was determined that the the blockage was past the foundation and more than likely tree roots..

Since I didn’t have a clean out drain in my planter it was very difficult if not almost impossible for Ozzy and the crew to fix this. Ozzy exposed the drain line and had to cut it to find the blockage and install the clean out. He pulled out large clumps of hair and roots. We decided to install a clean out and run the hydrajet to clean out. Ozzy, Fernando and Jose worked hard to clean out all roots. These guys are awesome!!

I asked Ozzy about trenchless main drain line repair. Ozzy explained everything and did not pressure me to make the decision. We made the decision to go with the trenchless liner.

Our kitchen sink has been a problem for a few months. Steven from Prodigy Plumbing arrived on time and cleaned out the large amount of sludge causing the back up and replaced an old rusty pipe. Ozzy and his team are the absolute best plumbers I’ve ever came across. My wife and I had a major plumbing and gas issue that needed to be addressed immediately. I first used prodigy to clear a main drain line clog, after the first company I called could not clear it. Matt had a great idea and it worked. They went above and beyond what was expected. I knew eventually I would have to replace the main drain line, and so when the time came, I used these guys again. I always recommend them if friends ask if I know a good plumber.

I am in the process of selling a home and had faucet leaks and repairs that needed to be completed from the home inspection report Robert did a fantastic job helping me get the correct faucets and then installing them. I was sending him pictures form Home Depot after work hours asking what to buy and he answered all of my texts. He had to make several trips to the plumbing warehouse to get the correct parts because everything is custom made in my bathroom. He had to replace a marble sink which was not easy and did a great job cleaning up after. He was very professional and extremely nice and helpful. Edgar Gonzales serviced our tankless water heater and helped with obtaining better water pressure in kitchen and bathroom. Edgar and his associate were professional and friendly. Making sure to communicate what he was doing and his timeline for getting the job done and the water back on.

Destin was the plumber dispatched to our condo by our HOA association for a chronic sewage blockage problem. He arrived very quickly after getting the call. He accessed the problem and got to work quickly clearing the drain. He made a recommendation on other steps that we can take to prevent future backups that we will be implementing. Destin was very friendly and knowledgable. The only complaint that I have in that he was wearing a Dodger's hat. He would have looked much better in a SF Giants hat.

We hired Prodigy Plumbing to complete all of the plumbing issues found in our home inspection report - which was a very large list - and we are happy with their work. All of the techs/plumbers were professional and courteous throughout the whole process. Steve initially came to do the quote; he was thorough and transparent in what they could and could not do. I appreciated the fact that he did not try and upsell us on any of the requested work. Jose and Kevin completed the sewer liner installation and they made sure to show us video and pictures throughout the process so that we understood what was being done. We closed on our house and needed to update the plumbing of the entire house from galvanized steel to copper. There were some pipes that were sticking out of the wall in the kitchen that they had rerouted to inside the wall. They installed a new water heater and water softener. Everybody was professional and kind. They answered all of our questions, both the workers and the people answering the phones. We signed up for the membership beforehand and saved quite a bit of money with the membership pricing. We will definitely be using them in the future.

I've used Prodigy Plumbing several times and they have always delivered fantastic service at a great value. I recently hired Prodigy to install a new toilet, which I had already purchased elsewhere. Prodigy identified that I had received mismatched parts. After receiving the correct parts from the supplier, Prodigy returned the next day to finish the installation at no extra charge. My favorite plumber was recently bought out by prodigy plumbing. Because I called my old plumbers phone number and got connected to prodigy, decided to give them a try. They were unable to fit me into their schedule for three days and the cost of the drain cleaning was about 30% higher than what I was accustomed to paying. My Old plumber gave me a guarantee every time he cleared drain that it would stay clear. Prodigy has no such guarantee. They did a fine job, but I will not be calling them again.

I had the worst experience a homeowner wants to have, my main backing up into my tub, gross! I asked some
Friends for a referral and they referred me to Prodigy Plumbing. From the very beginning of calling in my problem they were courteous and helpful. I couldn’t get an appointment until the next day, but when the technician Manny came out he went straight to work. He was kind and explained everything that he was going to do. He took his time to explain the pricing and all the work that was going to take place. As it turns out, my issue was much bigger than I anticipated, so Manny called to have my main jetted. Here comes in Jerry, the senior technician. He was extremely informative and explained step by step what was happening and what to expect. I was also able to witness him mentoring and teaching his crew. The outcome was not what I would have wanted (but who really wants to have to replace pipes) but I know that it will be done in a professional manner by experts. Jerry went over pricing with me in detail and explained all my options. I asked lots of questions and he was patient and answered every single one, honestly more than once. I had my house repiped (bathroom and kitchen had already been done). Matt Downs headed the project, Leo and Omar worked with him. This should have been a 2 day project, however they worked so efficiently they completed the project in 1 day! They were careful to put shrouds on the floor to keep it clean and cleaned up after the job was completed. Permits were drawn, the job passed inspection. Our water looks clearer, we are happy with the flow, our piped no longer groan or rattle when we turn the water on.. This was a problem free installation! Will always use Prodigy Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs, I highly recommend them.

No biggie.. Thanks to David and Prodigy plumbing for helping me out and now my wife and I have more peace of mind that everything is good to go.

I should start by saying that we are extremely particular about any company we hire to perform work at my home. With this, I take reviews very seriously and only publish when 100 percent certain. I can honestly say the Prodigy Plumbing is truly outstanding. I had the pleasure to work with Ozzy, Juan, Alexis and Jerry, all of whom are beyond impressive. The jobs included large-scale work such as exchanging to tankless water heater (this was last year and hadn’t posted by review yet), running new water lines to setup a new outdoor spigot system, ordering and replacing 3 toilets, replacing garbage disposal and all associated connections and more. They are all very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and clean up the area impeccably once they are finished. You almost feel like you are dealing with very talented family members as that’s how comfortable they make you feel! I can highly recommend Prodigy Plumbing for all your plumbing needs, large or small.

I called these guys out to clear a slow draining shower/tub and to also quote me for the repair of some leaking from the sink (under the vanity) and from the toilet in the same bathroom. It turned out to be a big mistake. You can read the long version below but the short version is they gave a quote that was so high it couldn't be justified by any explanation. Asked them to leave and figured something else out and I was left with a profound distrust of their business practices. I discourage you from calling them, based on my experience.

The drain in the tub was slow to pass warer. The leaks that needed attention were small but persistent and they'd been left unaddressed for a prolonged period so had damaged the ceiling of the living room below. I wanted to see how much a proper plumber would charge for this. I also wanted the drain in the tub cleared to help me get the bathroom and shower area cleaned up; it was filthy from years of neglect. This home is lived in by someone who let it go to a sad state and I stepped in to bring it back to a sanitary and functional state.

The first people I spoke with on the phone at Prodigy Plumbing were friendly and seemed sharp. The technician from Prodigy plumbing showed up on time. That is where my praise for the company will stop. Upon inspection of the property for 5 min. I was quoted $9000.00 to clear the drain and replace the 3 angle stops (two at the sink and one at the toilet) and advised this is just an estimate. I couldn't believe I'd heard correctly so asked for it to be repeated. I expected somewhere between $900 (if I was lucky) and $2000 (if it was worse than expected). I explained to the technician that for $9000.00 easily I could hire a contractor completely remodel BOTH bathrooms in the condo, or if I did it myself for the $9000 I could also do a total kitchen remodel with the bathrooms. The technician spoke about how Sorry [they are] but [they] need to do [their] due diligence...there are lots of liabilities involved. Etc.

Obviously I declined their work quote and asked him to leave. I was furious at the ridiculous proposal. In the end I did the work myself. Mind you I'm no plumber. I'm not a contractor at all and this was my first time doing this kind of work. For the cost of 3 angle stops (water supply valves), a tube cutter tool, and three water lines (hoses), plus the rental of a hand auger drum--all total it came to just over $100.00--I was able to do the work on my own. Was it easy? No. In fact it was quite frustrating and I wound up making 6 trips to Home Depot that day. On the other hand, apparently I saved myself $8900.00 and that's not bad for a complete amateur. Especially not bad one who was willing or prepared to spend in the neighborhood of $2000.00 to have the work done by a trusted team of professionals.

I might call a plumber someday but I'll never call the Prodigy Plumbing Team again, not unless I'm looking for a job. Apparently there's damn good money in this plumbing business!

Prodigy Plumbling was fantastic. They told me a time they were going to come and they made it at the time they said they were coming. They were professional courteous and very knowledgeable. They stated upfront what they were going to do and what the cost would be there was no extra add-ons or anything saying you probably could use this or you need to have this if there was no upsell. I had such a great experience With them that I will definitely hire them back and recommend them to any and all of my friends and relatives in the Los Angeles area. The staff at Prodigy Plumbing and Heating are so awesome. I am an out of state property manager for a home in Long Beach, CA. It is not easy obtaining service since I am out of state. After contacting, Prodigy went to the house and provided me with a detailed report of what needed to be done, cost and estimated completion. Following my review of the information they provided me, I flew to Southern California and showed up at Prodigy office. Though it was late and they were nearly ready to close, the staff took their time and spent well over an hour with me going over each step. We have two phases and as they are both massive, we have broken up the work. Phase 1. Has been completed. They did a phenomenal job and kept in constant communication with me. When we are ready for Phase 2., we expect to contract with Prodigy to complete Phase 2.

As a side note: my sister was so impressed with them and their work that she then hired them for some massive upgrades at her own home. That work has also been completed and she too is very pleased with outcome.

If your looking for a plumbing company that is honest, punctual and professional, choose Prodigy Plumbing. I had a leak in my kitchen and as a result, we decided to repipe the entire house. Prodigy Plumbing is awesome. Super professional, the owner Mark is hands on and you can tell he has a great company culture. I had an emergency repair on my main water line bc a tree root broke my line and Mario and his team came out and completed the job today. I got an email invoice immediately with pictures attached of the work they did. They were in constant communication with me as to what needed to be done and I highly recommend Prodigy for any plumbing needs.

They rescheduled 2 times. Than they made up a story that they don't service fire pit gas lines, than they said they can but we have to sceduale for another tiem. If you want your time wasted while you take time off for work to wait for plumber, make sure you call these guys.

Grant came on time, wore a mask (covid), was very friendly and polite. Installed our faucet. Work was done quickly and neatly. Was careful with our new faucet and cleaned up when he was finished. Have had Prodigy out before and will definitely use them in the future when the need arises.

Robert came out and give me a free diagnostic. David came out and give excellent service. David cut out a section of vertical drain pipe that had a horizontal pipe that was cracked at the connection, then replaced the vertical / horizontal piece with new piping for my bathroom sink. Before leaving David ran the water just like every great plumber should and found that my drain was also clogged. He went the extra mile to clear it free of charge to make sure everything was in working order. Both gentlemen were on time, respectful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done to get the job done right the first time. I definitely will be calling them again when I have another plumbing issue come up.

Robert from Prodigy came out the same day, gave a us a free assessment and quote and began the all day project the next morning to install a central drain access, clean the roots out of the drain and complete some additional repairs inside. Extremely professional, personable, and clean. Even texted throughout the day with questions and updates. Wonderful service. Will definitely make Prodigy our first call next time and highly recommend.

David G. came out and gave me a quick quote for a tank and tankless water heater replacements. He was honest and recommended the best approach to take. Came back the next morning and installed the new tank water heater in under 3 hours. Replaced some of the pipes and valves that were really old and broken too. Even cleaned my garage from some of the debris that had splashed out from the old tank.

Overall I'm really impressed and happy with Prodigy Plumbing and David G. and wholeheartedly recommend them. Will definitely call them back for all my plumbing needs.

Have always used Prodigy for all my plumbing issues and they have always come come through. The last two issues I’ve had, Luis came out and checked out the problems, and was excellent in explaining what was going on and what he was going to do. Ended with him recommending maintenance tips. Awesome guy. Awesome company.

They were the only service that was able to get to me in a timely manner. Luis should up was polite and very honest. explained my options and got the clog out. it was a monster.

After careful consideration to whether to write a review or not as there was a small snafu in my whole house replumb/replace of all sewer pipes in my house to the main sewer line to the street. I decided that will. So here it is...1st Prodigy Plumbing is legit, professional, clean & on time! 2nd I was very impressed that the owner of the company came out to ck the job after it was done! He made sure everything was done right. 3rd The snafu was part of the main line steel piping that they did not replace to ABS....I recieved a refund on that quickly & was assured it will fall under the rest of the warranty of the rest of sewer piping they replaced to ABS. Lastly....These guys work hard! & Jerry knows the answer to all your questions. Always answers his cell! If he doesn't he will get back with you quick! The guy (forgot his name) that does the sock/reson on the clay pipes is definitely a pro & knows his stuff! Final.....I waited a couple months to write this review to wait & see if my sewer plumbing is still working well & it is!

I had been putting off calling a plumber for a long standing plumbing issue. I found Prodigy Plumbing. They were highly rated on Yelp. I have them a call. That was the best call I could have made. They sent out a Mr. Jose Luis Sanchez. The work was done quickly and efficiently.
Mr. Sanchez was knowledgeable, professional and friendly, all qualities that mean a lot to me. I was extremely happy with the job. If ever I should need a plumber again, I shall call Prodigy Plumbing again and ask specifically that they send out Mr. Sanchez. He was the best. I can’t say enough great things about these guys.

A week later and the job is complete. It would have been done sooner but they found mold that had to be removed. It only took them 1 day to replace the cast iron under the house and replace 2 shutoff valves.They took away all the old plumbing,replanted plants that had to be removed, and cleaned up. My wife and I moved into our first house just over a year ago and we’ve already hired Prodigy Plumbing several times. They’re fantastic. Tony came by today and added a storm drain extension to our detached garage. He did a great job and got it done in less time than expected. Very friendly too. In the past, Prodigy helped me with the main storm drain around the house, replacing the sewer line, fixing a gas leak connection to our dryer, fixing a water heater leak, and replacing old pipes under the guest bathroom. Lots of work in a year and I’ve never been disappointed. Will hire again. Highly recommend.

We had a gas leak and the gas company shut off our gas which controls the hot water and heater. We were referred to Prodigy plumbing. I called and spoke to Mark who explained what needed to happen and arranged for a technician to come the very next morning. Joe showed up bright and early, diagnosed the problem and fixed the leak in a timely manner. He was polite and professional and then cleaned the entire area up when he was all finished. We are very happy with the job that this company provided and would recommend them.

Solid business. Everybody I dealt with: Silvia - receptionist, Edgar and Juan - field installers and Mark - the owner, were highly professional and courteous. Edgar came out first for evaluation and soon submitted the the proposal. The proposal was professionally looking and accurate.
Edgar and Juan showed up on time and installed the new water heater for the best price around. I discussed another issue with them and they convinced me not to go that route, potentially saving me thousands. We - our condo association for which I am a Board member - have had Prodigy out maybe 5-6 times now, for both small single-unit jobs and for replacement of extensive sections of common area waste pipe, as well as hydrojetting our main lines. THEY HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL! They have always arrived on time, explained what they were doing, did good work, cleaned up after themselves, charged a reasonable fee, and were very professional and friendly.
