Trainee was sent to my house to clean out a drain while a senior tech sat in the truck and played with his phone. The kid didn’t protect the area where he sat his equipment and stained our carpet. I had to walk out to get the senior tech to complete the job as the trainee was struggling. I was told to call the office to get our carpet cleaned, which I left a message a week ago and haven’t heard back.

A team came to unclog my toilet - which also happens to be connected to the same plumbing as my water faucet. I was told that by repairing the toilet, my faucet would drain accordingly. That did not happen, so I called them back. A very rude man showed up and was very defensive about the previous service and was short with me from the very beginning. I am a single mom alone with a newborn and I wa told they would call before showing up on my doorstep. They did not. When I said something to the serviceman he said “I got nothing to do with that”. A simple apology would have suffice. And then the rest of his visit went downhill from there. I explained I was told and he cut me off anf got very defensive. I will not be using their services again. Will be using Mr. Rooter

They came out quick and early, but wanted to charge over $500 for snaking a drain. No chance in h*&% simple solution (that didn't even require snaking the drain) from another plumber that could have been handled easily by roto rooter if the guy they sent had known what he was doing.

2 other technicians were not to unclog it. Johnston was. Service was pricey but I agreed because he offered 30 days of warranty.
Unfortunately the blockage came back the following week and TJ declined to open the drain because Johnston indicated no warranty on the invoice after completing the work.

My main sewer line got clogged backing up the bathrooms, shower and tub. I called and immediately got connected with dispatch. Within an hour Marquise came. The cap on the main clean out was old and really stuck on there. After quite some time, he was able to get it off and did the snake thing for a bit and all the stuff clogging the line were cleared away. It was late but he completed the job. He was very kind and patient! He went the extra mile!! I would certainly call them again!

I was very happy with the service I received today. Roto-Rooter dispatched two different teams to me in less than two hours after I called. Both Fred and Ronnie are very knowledgable, professional, and courteous. They really cared and tried to find the best solution to solve my pluming problem. They presented the available options, pros and cons of each, and their recommendations. Thank you Fred, Ronnie, and Roto-Rooter.
$300 for a 1 hour service is out of line. Technician was profession and the time to get service was very quick.

I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars. The Branch Manager contacted me and arranged for a video of our sewer line and it showed some pretty bad stuff inside and also some damaged portions. I agreed to have them replace most of the galvanized pipe and they gave me a credit for the previous work done.
A quality control person also stopped by a couple of times to check the work and do a final video inspection.
I still think that the price for the initial service was high, but they are a 24hr service and they have some good plumbers. Just be aware that an initial call will probably not be less than $300.

My plumbing backed up on the Friday morning of 4th of July weekend just as my family arrived from out of town. Marquise showed up so fast and had thoroughly diagnosed the issue and what needed to be done within maybe 10 minutes, explaining it in a way that assuaged all my stress. He then worked very thoroughly through the afternoon heat in my very not well air conditioned 1920s bungalow (I’m still so sorry) to fix the problem so we wouldn’t have to go to a hotel. He literally had to remove my whole toilet, and pulled a whole root system from my pipes, and had the issue fixed and the place back to normal in just a few hours. He was really professional and personable, and I’m so very grateful! Highly, highly recommended. Thank you so much!!

Went above and beyond on a tough main line clog. Stuck with it until we were back in business.
Roto Rooter was called when we had an emergency and they came within an hour. The technician recommended we do the jetter. Josh was on time in the window of timeframe.
He was super professional and wanted to make sure our drains were unclogged and he was very knowledgeable, he really went the extra mile, as we have had other companies out we always return to ROTO ROOTER.
Don’t get confused with Rescue rooter, they are super shady from my experience.
He was also a nice guy, dressed well not sloppy he cared about his appearance, super professional.

Called on Friday afternoon with my main line blocked. They sent a great guy, Bi, who took care of the job in a very professional manner, and was very friendly and easygoing. Im going into the weekend with everything functioning perfectly again. I need the same job done every year or two due to roots, and most of the people who’ve done it in the past have acted like it was a terribly hard and burdensome task, but Bi accomplished it with a smile and a confidence ease. I’m not sure if you can request a particular person respond to your call, but if they let you, ask for Bi. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Very happy with response and service, but have to be honest, was mush more expensive than I thought it would be for running a snake down a pipe for a few mins.

Not only did he save us from a night of heartache from both toilets backing up, he answered all of my questions so thoroughly which helped me understand how the plumbing of my house works. This in turn helped me make an informed decision on the solution options available to me and the associated risks.
Considering this was an emergency call, I found the cost to be reasonable for such quick and professional service.
When he found the issue to be less catastrophic than he initially thought, he was able to complete the service for less money than initially quoted. This speaks volumes to his trustworthiness.

My plumber was fantastic (!!) and worked for a long time to get the job done! However the problem persisted after he left and when I called Roto-rooter a few hours later I was told I did not have a warranty even though I asked about a warranty at length before the job started so they wanted another $450 to return… when I’d already paid 4 hours earlier that same day! Plumber was great but horrible customer service!
Great service - they came out on a Sunday and identifies the issue immediately and was able to fix it within an hour. The plumber was on time and very nice.
I cannot give enough praise to RotoRooter and employee Johnston. He arrived on time, was very professional and courteous and quickly analyzed a difficult problem which had caused the first floor of my house to be flooded

Richard was fantastic. Arrived just as scheduled, was as kind as can be, and was able to resolve the issue very quickly. I’d highly recommend.

I called at 4 pm and they scheduled an appointment the same day and were at my house within 3 hours. Edwin was very pleasant and knew exactly what to do. Very happy with the service.
