Best Copper Pipes in Long Beach CA

We always use Ken for our plumbing needs for several years! Always it’s an emergency. Today he exceeded himself.
Our garbage disposal stated making some horrible clanging noise so we called Ken on Tuesday Morning. He stopped by between appointments and fixed the issue in leas than than ten mins. There jam caused by tiny plastic toy that had to have been there for over 20 years. No kids and just two of us in the house. Sometimes things just cannot be explain. Thanks you Ken for your courtesy.

I called Sal's yesterday to request that my storm drain be hydrojetted again. They offered to do the work the following day (today) however, they quoted a 50% higher fee than last time which was actually less than 2 years ago (3/9/2020). Given that this is a repeat job and is ridiculously easy I was disappointed that the service cost had risen by 50% to $750.

They arrived on time at 12 noon and had the proper equipment however, when I was discussing cleaning 2 very short (<25 ft) drain runs in the back, Nick the supervisor quoted me $1200 for the job!! An additional $450 above the already 50% higher charge for the main storm drain cleaning. His attitude was poor at best - telling me You can get other quotes knowing full well that his quote was ridiculous and capricious. I told him that I would skip cleaning the 2 additional short runs and then he told me that he was no longer interested in doing any work!! I said that I was willing to pay the $750 for the main drains as quoted by the office and after a moment he reconsidered and decided to do the primary job for which I had requested service.

After they filled the hydrojet water tank from my hose (which took 20 minutes) they proceeded to the alley to clean the main storm drains. Nick divided his attention from watching the World Cup soccer matches on his phone, running the hydroket machine and directing his 2 helpers.

The machine ran out of water before the 2nd storm drain had been completely cleaned and Nick declared that it was good enough. The time was about 1:10 pm - 70 minutes after they arrived.

He returned to my house, ran water from my hose down one drain and confirmed that water was running out of the storm drain with one of his helpers. The drains were never fully clogged - so hose water ran through without trouble before the cleaning and proved little after the cleaning.

He then presented the bill and I paid it.

That was $750 for exactly 40 minutes of actual work which translates to a rate of $1125/hr!! I understand inflation but this was usury and inconsiderate given the simplicity of the job that he had performed less than 2 years ago.

To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I called his company again for repeat business given the good experience I had with Nick for the last cleaning. Now, I felt disrespected and abused. Today, I had little choice but to allow him to perform the service when they arrived since it had already been scheduled and it was due to rain tomorrow. I had not expected to be made to feel like I was bothering him and interrupting his ability to watch the world cup.

On my review for their service on 3/9/2020 I rated Sal's 5 stars and applauded their professionalism and service. Nick did the previous job but today he was gruff and it was not the same effort or professionalism that I experienced the first time and I was left to feel taken advantage of and abused.

I will not call them again for service nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

Converted galvanized to copper piping and installed new kitchen faucet.

Once again Prodigy Plumbing has come to our rescue. Today Fernando, Juan and Jerry needed to replace the corroded pipes under the house. They explained everything and did a good job. Every time we've had work done, all their men are excellent. Steven installed a new faucet for us yesterday and in the past Ozzie has done various jobs for us. We trust Prodigy Plumbing.

I have been using Daily Plumbing, Heating, Air & Rooter Service for the last two years, and I'm very pleased with them. They always show up when they say they will, and are very thorough. The service reps know what they are doing, and exhibit professionalism. They are great about explaining the pluses and minuses of any particular repair, and communicate very clearly.

Albert who came for his appointment knew his stuff, explained everything , very informative and answered all questions with professionalism. The work done was top notch... I have more plumbing issues and will be calling to schedule another appointment..

Daily Plumbing have done a variety of things for me--leaks, heating and A/C work, toilet fixture replacement, some re-piping. They seem very fair and straightforward. They are very honest, and that's not the easiest thing to find in a service provider these days. It's like they have reintroduced old fashion service.

Big or small, Tony and the team at Barr Web seems to handle all. They helped install two new bathrooms in our house (one upstairs, one in the basement) and did outstanding work. Just had him back today to replace a broken garbage disposal. Quick, quality work for a good price. No questions asked, 100% recommend Barr Web for your plumbing needs.

As far as Rick Roberts job the customer had a broke down sewer at City connection spent quite awhile trying to fix for him got my cable hung up in his defective line had to charge for my time we do not work for free Rick called when he had line replaced to come get our cable I think we handled situation correctly secondly as far as not responding to Ruby talkington had did several calls for her over the years constantly having to deal with her complaining about charges and thinking she needed to be billed so I decided that we were done doing work for her there are way more satisfied customers with Miller's drain in Wichita than these to complainers my phone will always ring and u can't make everyone happy we will continue to take care of our customers new and returning thank u
