I had an original AC and heating in my house, so I had NO experience in dealing with heating and air conditioning company. The technician came and clarified everything, and I chose to go with the American Way. Every time I had an inquiry (I had a couple), the technicians were so knowledgeable and pleasant.
They explained how they were going to fix that problem step by step. They worked hard to accomplish the task. I would highly recommend their services. Example of true excellence. Additionally, played it safe - wore masks, remained 6 ft. away.

Despite the fact that it is typically challenging to trust a service from a person who understands a trade and client who knows nothing, I was fortunate enough to have a plumber visit to my house who was completely honest. He was exceedingly wise, considerate, and compassionate. He showed me what he had already completed and what he had planned to do before starting the work. This man will succeed if his employer will let him. Try addressing him by name. His name is Rowland. When we eventually connected, I felt comfortable letting my guard down. I appreciate you employing him, Jersey City Plumber, and Rowland, please accept my gratitude.

The technician who helped me was professional, polite, and walked me through the water heater repair process from beginning to end. He did the job quickly and left zero clean up.

They efficiently identified the source of the leak and promptly repaired it. Their knowledge and expertise saved us from potential water damage. Highly recommended!

Horrible experience! I called this guys to fix a drain leak. They said It can't be repaired need to be replaced entire shower base. Estimated price was $1800. Also they said the drain is glued and will not come off. Absolutely not true. The the drain came off and all I was needed to do is put a plumber putty. Definitely not recommend this guys.

UPDATE TO THE BELOW REVIEW: I eventually had a different plumber come, Gene D Plumber, and he was able to install the shower parts I purchased without a problem. I wasted a trip to Bayonne to talk to the parts dealer who also confirmed that the parts would be fine. So I appreciate that Dependable was being cautious but it cost me weeks longer without a shower and a wasted trip to Bayonne.
I called them today for a leaky shower. Their guy came and looked at the parts I had (I bought) and I appreciate that rather than try to botch the repair job he told me I had bought the wrong parts and he couldn't do the repair as is. Steve called me a few minutes afterwards to give me advice on what to go buy. I wasn't charged for the callout, which is what I expected given that no work was done nor even an estimate provided, but still some plumbers will charge you.

Hired them to do the job, they are the worst plumbing contractor in New jersey. They will take your money and will stretch a 2 week job in to 6 months. They have 1 and a half man working there. Rolando will stop taking your calls or respond to messages the minute you check clears. Disaster!! Stay as far away as you can!!

Not recommended. The technician broke the shutoff valve while fixing our bathroom sink.
We had called about a small leak. The tech came to assess and said we needed a whole new faucet. We agreed and he installed a new one. While doing it, he broke the shutoff valve. He did not try to fix it; after charging us $450 for a new faucet, he simply just left.
When we called the company again for support on replacement valve, they said they would need to charge for the replacement. Charge us for something their own technician broke.
Great business model, old as time. Make something worse, and then charge customer to fix.
I **think** the team leans on a task rabbit type of hiring. So luck of the draw on the technician. This is a guess, as when we first called the company to complain they said we don't have record of sending anyone. We had to send a picture of the receipt from the tech as proof. Even after this, they did not take any responsibility for the poor work of the tech they sent.

We have an apartment in New Jersey that needed a plumber immediately. Found these guys on Google and called them based on their reviews and location. Spoke to Marc and he was super helpful even during these crazy times that we are living. He was able to send over a plumber and fix our sink back up within a few hours. My tenants are now able to get some relief knowing that they wont have to deal with any sink back ups as they are locked in during these crazy times. Thanks Eco Plumbing
