I called Royal for a quote on a job I wanted done in Hoboken. They never showed up, even though coming and looking at the project would only take 5 minutes. Before you read further, please notice that most 5 star reviews for this company are 1 year or more old!

I called on Thursday and someone said they would come between 11am and 1pm on Friday. Well, not only did no one show up, no one bothered to call either. When I finally called around 4pm, someone again said they could come on Saturday. I stayed home all day waiting for them and again, nothing!

It's now 5pm on Saturday and I haven't heard from anyone. If I can't count on someone to show up for the easy part, then I cannot rely on you to get the job done on time.

P.S. Rick from Royal just called, and when I expressed my concern above he told me it's because we do such great work, and we are very busy . . . but if that's the attitude you have, then that's great have a great day!. Zero star service all around guys, you act like there's no competition in your industry. For anyone reading this, just skip them and go to the next guy.

These guys pulled up in a tow truck and were dressed like they’re going out to dinner. They did not communicate except in grunts and single words. It was so awkward and uncomfortable. They wouldn’t say anything without calling their manager (?) first. We decided not to use them for our leak because it was so uncomfortable and weird.

After taking a ~$1000 full payment to fix a leak, they decamped with the money after cutting open the walls and leaving the work incomplete. Not responding to calls. Fraud. Beware.

Horrible experience! I called this guys to fix a drain leak. They said It can't be repaired need to be replaced entire shower base. Estimated price was $1800. Also they said the drain is glued and will not come off. Absolutely not true. The the drain came off and all I was needed to do is put a plumber putty. Definitely not recommend this guys.

Had an emergency where my heater stopped working mid winter. As a new homeowner, i blindly called around on a Saturday morning and they were able to come over within two hours. Didn't fully diagnose the issue immediately, but attempted a simple fix and then came back two days later (at 7pm on a Monday) when I called to report ongoing issues. Also, only charged me for the final fix, not the intermediate attempt which was nice. Seems fair, knowledgeable, and available and will be using them again.

A+! There was no heat in my home for a total of 5 days and 6 nights! I responded with both please and yes! I was sent a picture of the repairman along with his biography in a text message. the message also included his name. This gentleman was an AWESOME guy who walked me through everything that was wrong with my furnace and explained it all to me! His group toiled away from the crack of morning till well into the night! The individual and his team assuaged my concerns by assuring me, Don't worry, you won't be spending another night out in the cold. He and his crew worked diligently until both my heating system and my water heater were successfully installed. You can count on me to spread the word about this company to everyone I know. This company is the most professional I've ever seen. They were on time and worked in a timely manner. Not only did they get the work done but they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results.

We were not getting any hot water from the water heater. The pilot light was running so I thought it wouldn't be that difficult to fix. I Googled the issue and started following instructions. Things stopped making sense after a while though. I had to call Eco for help. Moe immediately dispatched an expert, who rectified the problem. These guys are experienced professionals.
