Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Plumber
We were very impressed. They answered the phone right away and arranged to send a tech out as soon as they could. David was our tech and he arrived early, and called before he was on his way. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in about 30 minutes and was very professional, explaining everything he did and showing us what was wrong.

Fox Service Company Plumber
I called Precision (who is also now Fox through a buyout?) to service my AC. They sent two technicians, one of who was very nice and the other not so. The nice technician said up front that it was too cold to get a good reading off the AC, and I offered to set another date. The not-so-nice technician insisted it could be done by wrapping garbage bags around it.They were already out, and the not-nice one was insistent, so I let them look at the AC unit. The nice technician got to work looking at the units in the attic, and the not-so-nice one started asking questions. During the conversation, I mentioned that I had had trouble over the last couple of years because the refrigerant was low, and they were able to add some, and it worked fine. The not-nice technician immediately started talking about a new unit without any diagnostic effort saying that the cost of a new unit might be cheaper than putting refrigerant in. He said that even if it worked, the hole is likely bigger because they grow over time, so it would likely fail anyway. It felt like we were in a verbal jousting match and ended up with the not-nice technician going down to look at the outside unit. He looked at it briefly and pointedly noted that it was missing a sticker that goes right here. (It looked like he was just pointing at a random blank spot). He said he would have to start putting the refrigerant in and weighing it out because there was no sticker on the unit. I guess there is no way in today's age to get from a model number to information about the specs of a device. At that point, I was done. I paid their service fee and asked them to leave. The parting words from the not-nice technician were, We wouldn't put in a unit for you anyway.I still don't know how a garbage bag would help, but there you go.

When I had a serious piping problem I was told that I should completely change all the elements, but I got advice from turbo plumbing and they only changed one pipe and everything was as good as new, great.

I liked the tech, Peter, the moment I opened the door. He had a smile on his face, introduced himself, and said what he was here to do. He then proceeded with his business. He was thorough; tested all my smoke and CO alarms for proper functioning, and offered advice on how to save some money on heating and cooling. When he finished he told me what he did and asked if I had any questions.

We had an after hours issue, and Efficient AC was the only company to call us back on a Saturday evening. Arthur came out, was extremely professional and helpful, fixed our condenser clog (and wow was it a clog!) and got us going again. Thank you Efficiency AC, we will definitely keep you in mind next time!

Indigo Home & Facility Services Plumber
We’ve known Danny for about 5 years now when his construction company, CapTex, built our mother in law suite. He has since become just like part of our family. So much so, that even our children call him Uncle Danny! He is a great friend and great person, always looking out for us when we need projects done. His guys at Indigo are just as friendly and reliable. They are always courteous and polite when working at our home. And always show up when they say they will and work fast and diligently. They worked so hard getting our hot water heaters back up and running after the winter storm and we are very grateful for that. We highly recommended these guys for any of your future plumbing needs!

Fox Commercial Services Plumber
Our company called Fox out to fix a leak. Fox sent out two employees. It took the two employees a total of 10 man-hours before they could pinpoint the leak. Once their assessment was completed, I asked them what the cost would be to fix the leak. The plumber didn't seem to know how to bid the job. So, he told me he needed to check with his supervisor and get a quote sent over. After I had to call Fox and request the quote, it was sent over. They quoted 6,200, for what we needed. After receiving their enormous quote, I called another plumbing company. I gave the other company the same instructions that I gave Fox. The second company found the source of the leak in less than 2 hours with only one employee. I asked the other company for a quote. The second company quoted the job for 1,600, that's 1/4 the quote Fox gave. The new plumber fixed the two leaks in less time than it took Fox's employees to even find the leak. The worst thing was Fox billed us $1,043.75, for their employees' time! Worse still, THEY DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK!After contacting Fox about their outrageous invoice they decided to take the to take off the helpers portion of the bill, $260. So in effect, we paid Fox $783 for a leak they NEVER FIXED!
