Very impressed with these guys. We got 4 estimates to replace our furnace and AC and decided to go with SOCAL PH&AC not only because of great pricing but that gut feeling of really genuine people who are passionate about their work. Tim was very patient with us and even came out a second time to clarify the work, type of system, and answer final questions we had before deciding to go with them. He responded timely to every email. The day of installation went better than expected. Our installers were Edgar and Demario. They were personable, neat, and knowledgeable. They installed our Nest for us, set it up, and showed us how to use it. THANKS AGAIN YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!

I'm always worried about calling repair companies because you're in their power to diagnose. Today he came to troubleshoot my oven. He was so helpful and informative. He showed how to change the filter and gave advice on cleaning the air ducts (in principle, he only cleaned the intake, the rest is a waste of money). He was patient and thorough. I felt that the price was fair. I definitely recommend.

I had a great experience working with the company and their team to replace our boiler and radiators with a forced air system. His team had to figure out how to fit the stove, plumbing and air ducts into a very small space in our 100 year old building. They were incredibly professional, informative and efficient. They went beyond the scope of work and never caused any concern. I highly recommend them.

Ryan arrived on time on a Saturday. My icomfort system had reported to me via wifi that a high pressure switch was stuck. After scheduling an appointment via Kalka's website, Ryan was able to come on a Saturday and repair my AC. He did excellent work and stayed within their cost estimate. He is a boon to Kalka's business. He also provided pictures chronicling suspect areas for preventative work as well as pictures of where the work was completed, both via email.
Kalka's work was A quality.

We were facing issues regarding clogged drain, so I asked one of my friends to recommend the best plumber in orange county to address our issues urgently. My friend suggested Cali’s Choice plumbers, and the very next moment, I called them. They identified the issues and fixed the blocked pipe within a couple of hours. We had an issue with finding a specific part. It was a valve with a gauge on it. This valve was leaking profusely that we had to shut the hot water off. While we were looking for this specific part, it seemed like there was backorder which would take a week for delivery and we needed a licensed technician to order it.

This part basically mixes the hot and cold water and it was cracked, which was confirmed by two experts. Unfortunately, when it rains, it pours and everyone seemed to have a boiler problem.

Benrich sent Ray over, a Senior Boiler Technician, who discovered a workaround and was trustworthy and honest about his time. He fused/welded a pipe and turned down the temperature. We had hot water instantly.

Previously, we worked a company who was untrustworthy and while we contracted quarterly inspections, there were additional charges of ~$2000.00 then another $1000.00 the following year and $571 + $865 +$650 last year. At one point, they charged us $271 for 8 minutes of work. The Benrich manager also mentioned that the repair person before had done a number (ie negative connotations). For me trustworthiness is and was an issue along with the monopoly of parts and supply chain issues of parts.

I am pleased that Ray, fixed our boiler in record time and we were lucky he came in from Hollywood because last year a boiler tech came all the way from Long Beach and wanted to charge us for traveling their back-and-forth commute in rush hour traffic.

Ray did not do any of those tactics and his work was done professionally (had brought in an industrial-commercial tank to fuse the pipes). So far, I have not heard any complaints from any senior citizens, veterans or disabled homeowners on this matter and we are thankful that he repaired before the Father’s Day and Juneteenth holiday weekend. Ray is smart and made decisions in a timely matter, keeping costs low. We will use Benrich again.
