Lewis arrived to a sewer clog at my house in Kaneohe. He showed me on the camera the cracks I had in the sewer line. The Pueo crew came and installed a pipe lining in the old pipe. Main pipe is good as new and I didn’t have to dig up inside my house. Mahalo Lewis!

Overwhelming, that's how I can best describe my experience with 2 other plumbing companies we've spoken to. We own an old home with a lot of issues, one of them being the plumbing. The first company we spoke to understood what we wanted done, but didn't really take in to consideration what we could afford. Another company sent a representative that wanted to pile on a bunch of stuff on top of what we were already asking. That rep literally walked around our house saying we can do that to every little thing he saw. I was beginning to think he was losing sight of what we really needed. Can you understand why it was overwhelming!?!

THANKFULLY Shane, Dalon, Pam, Keri and the rest of the 535 crew were able to ease things down a bit for us. Shane and Dalon understood what we wanted, but made us aware of what we needed, all while considering what we could afford.

535 handled three separate issues for us within a span of 2 1/2 months. Replacement of our galvanized pipes, sewer repair and installation of our gas oven were the issues/jobs. I HAVE TO SAY MY WIFE AND I ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS AND THE PRICE. During replacement of our galvanized pipes one of the workers, Charles (I think) discussed a couple of things he needed to do to our downstairs bathroom and kitchen. His explanation was very clear and thorough. I appreciated that a lot! Also on the day the galvanized pipes were replaced, a couple of workers were having a hard time getting the downstairs kitchen sink to work, so they ended up staying later after all the other workers had left. I felt so bad for them. Our home is really old and the plumbing has not been updated for some time now, add on the fact the downstairs kitchen hasn't been used for almost 25 years, for them to get everything working again is unbelievable.

We did have one small communication snafu, but it wasn't too bad. The workers were able to call the office and we squashed it immediately.

Friendly and professional, great quality, yet affordable, to sum this all up! We greatly appreciate everything they've done.

This past Friday, I called Steve’s Plumbing for a leaky faucet. The agent on the phone was excellent and got Maka to come out to our place on Saturday, when he assessed the job. Maka returned on Monday and did a great job. He was professional, personal and very respectful. Maka was very knowledgeable about our project and the finished product was evident of the pride he takes in his work. Mahalo, Maka.

Living in an older high rise condo has exposed me to interesting plumbing needs. The first two plumbers I needed to hire did adequate work but seemed to leave small things undone. For example after the installation of a new garbage disposal, the plumber stated that the slight looseness was how it was supposed to be. However, when the Home Depot partnership with Kama'aina Plumbing resulted in Joe installing a new toilet, I saw a plumber with total attention to detail and total neatness. When, a few months later, my sink was clogged, I called the same company and rescheduled the time so that Joe could be the plumber. Again, I notice systematic attention to detail and neat and complete work. Incidentally, Joe also noticed that the garbage disposal was not properly tightened and properly tighten the screws. I will contact this company and ask for this plumber in the future.
