Lewis arrived to a sewer clog at my house in Kaneohe. He showed me on the camera the cracks I had in the sewer line. The Pueo crew came and installed a pipe lining in the old pipe. Main pipe is good as new and I didn’t have to dig up inside my house. Mahalo Lewis!

I called to ask about changing an old kitchen faucet. After text and talk communication he recommended that we bring our plumbing up to code, instead of leaving the 65+ year old galvanized pipe, which he saw from just the one photo I sent. He came out to do the estimate, and we were scheduled within a few days. The day before, he asked if they could come a half hour earlier. The cooperative crew of 8 began arriving 15 minutes early. They cleaned up during and after the job, even making sure to put their cigarette butts in the trash or pocket. One of them even offered to install some handicap bars. They made sure to protect the floors and even did some extras, like fixing a leaking trap by my request, changing out all the under sink traps, caulking around the commode and adding extra hose bibs outside without extra charge. This huge job was completed in less than 8 hours, and our family couldn't be more pleased.

Here's my story:I tried Steve's because I needed flush valves replaced in two toilet tanks. They came out and quoted $1400 to do the work. I said no, $1400 is not realistic. I called A-1 Plumbing and they came out the next morning. The fixed both toilet tanks in one hour and the total charge was $266.My suggestion:If a business doesn't want to do small residential jobs or has high flat fees then tell potential customers before sending someone out.End of story

Solved the immediate problem and effectively did their job. Between you and me the labor cost is where they get you.

In May 2021, Brison’s Plumbing, Inc. removed a leaky lowboy then supervised the installation of Stiebel Eltron Tempra Trend tankless electric water heater AND replaced a 50-year old breaker box. Brison personally returned my call on the same day. He listened to my needs, explained the steps to go tankless and options, and made appropriate recommendations based on those needs and my budget. Brison coordinated with the electrician for new breaker box and tankless water heater installation; and then kept me informed every step of the way. The limited work space was kept clean, installation work was neat and expertly done, and the job was completed quickly and a day earlier then promised. By converting to tankless, my monthly electric bill has been reduced by more than ¼ of the cost.

Wow, very disappointed with Kaamaina Plumbing. I took the day off and plumber was scheduled for 8 to 10 am. He (Alan) never showed up. Office staff let phone RING off the hook, and I finally got through about 11. Very expensive estimate and very disorganized operation. Recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing support.
