Pohai installed our Acs in the windows. After measuring, he went to purchase wood to use to enclose the Acs in the windows. Some of the wood he used was of inferior quality after paying over $500 for time, material and installation. The wood finished was not even painted for us. Poahi was friendly and on time.

John was the second plumber we had called to fix our water heater. (Board of Water Supply had put us on a four-day waiting list to receive services. 🤨) John was knowledgeable and efficient. We were very pleased with his services.

Avoid. Avoid avoid avoid. The plumber just left my home. We called because of a leak under our kitchen sink last night and had an appointment window of 10-12, he showed up at 1pm. When he came his first words were I don't have notes, what am I here for? Well, I'm not sure 100% my husband told them so I asked why the company didn't provide those details. He asked again what work He was there for so I explained the issue. Within 10 mins it was determined I needed a new disposal. He had me sign the estimate form, but the form was blank, so I took a photo of it since it seemed sketchy. It was also sketchy that he quoted me $150 for the first hour when we were told $120 last night. While he was gone buying a new disposal I sent my husband the photo and he called the company right away. Not only did they say he should not have had me sign a blank receipt, and suddenly we got an all inclusive quote. When he returned he proceeded to jokingly shame me, as he got in trouble because of the photo I took. I let him know it was my right and he proceeded to get to work. While he was working he decided it was a good opportunity to recruit me to Primerica, which is an MLM pyramid scheme not related to the business. This is beyond inappropriate, and decided to call his upline to tell them he had someone interested IN THE MIDDLE OF HIM FIXING THE DISPOSAL. When the appointment concluded he told me he didn't know how to take a credit card and asked for a check. I was not happy but found a check and paid him, taking another photo. Lastly, after signing the receipt he didn't leave my copy with me, so I chased him down before leaving and he acted as if giving me a receipt was unusal. I took it and happily sent him on his way. What a nightmare. I didn't even get proof of the cost of the disposal in the end. Go somewhere else! HomeAdviser was so very wrong.

I was assulted by one of the workers and then he threatened to break my arm. Proceeded to take my cash and my impact drill.. I am a tenant and this is so freaking wrong . How can you just try and sweep this under the rug!!! Give me back my stuff!!!!!!! Police report is made I hope you man up or your guy will be arrestss

I booked these guys for kitchen faucet and drinking water filter installation and I had all the parts available for them. What can be simpler, right?
The guy showed up right at the end of the given 2-hour window and arrived in poorly maintained and dirty truck which kind of speaks for itself...
Though he promptly started to work but he was a little bit too talkative than you would expect from a professional that come for a particular service and not for to be your buddy. He also spoke on his phone on a non-related matters a few times and I believe that he should have been more focused on getting things done right rather than being interested and asking about my family members and what do I do for a living.
He finished with the faucet in like 30 minutes, billed me for an hour and told me he can't install the water filter because he doesn't have necessary parts and referred me to some third party company.
As I found out later all the parts that have been needed was a single 20 standard braided hose for a few bucks. He didn't have it nor he made any effort to swing by a hardware store and come back to finish the filter installation - no such option was given.
And the best part I discovered after he grabbed my check and left:
First, during the faucet installation he severely twisted both braided connection hoses which is strictly prohibited in the installation instructions (I doubt he even read it...)
And second, he failed to set up my new expensive faucet correctly and adjust the rotation limiter. So now I can pour water not only in my sink but also on my window if I want to!
Now I would rather go and buy some tools and redo all of this myself than deal with that non-professional service ever again.

Called the shop at closing; the staff told me they'd keep the store open while I drove in from Manoa. They kept the store open for about 30 minutes, set me up with what I needed, and put me on my way. Great service.
