These guys were able to fix a problem that 2 other companies could not fix. They were friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommmend them.

They was supposed to be at a scheduled place at 7am in the morning 2 hrs later after many calls and text to after hour tech name lane finally answered phone call and told that he can't make it out. No phone calls was made or attempted to make a call back from lane. He could not even text back why he couldn't make it out. Very bad customer service. They even charging for checking out parts that needed. Crazy they shouldn't even charge for that.

Cost was VERY HIGH. John was very professional and knowledgable. We chose to fix it ourselves as the cost was huge! John was a very kind professional who is service oriented.

The shower at my mom’s place wasn’t getting hot. She thought something was wrong with the shower since the kitchen sink was hot. My sister called Larry and he responded so quickly. He checked out the problem and it was the tankless water heater that needed replacing. He returned the next day and replaced it. Larry provided good service. He is friendly and a good communicator informing us when he plans to arrive and what he is going to do. We appreciate his help! Thanks Larry for giving my mom hot water again.

Went to Home Depot on Alakawa St. three separate times to shop for replacement windows ad doors. Average wait time was 30-45 minutes to have someone help us. We left each time. Wait, it gets better! On the fourth visit someone helped us within 10 min. After spending over an hour selecting almost $2000.00 in windows/doors, we were told before we place the order an installer would have to come to our house to get exact measurements. Makes sense. We had to pay for the service which is understandable. We paid over a hundred dollars using our credit card and were told someone would call to set up the appointment. A week later, no call. We called them. Another two days. No call back.

Alakai Mechanical was instructed to come to my condo through my management property company. They were only supposed to fix a leaking shower head. They had come a month prior to fix the shower head but only used tape to close the water shooting out and that didn’t work. So the second time they come to fix the shower head the plumber also sneaks in a charge for snaking my drain saying we have a clog at the condo. This is not true and the plumber “Doc” blatantly lied. We did not have a clog when we called the management property about the problem and we always use a strainer in our bath tubs. Alakai Mechanical is trying to charge me $235 for something that did not need to be fixed. Beware of this company. They have a lot of negative reviews and now I understand why.

Wow, very disappointed with Kaamaina Plumbing. I took the day off and plumber was scheduled for 8 to 10 am. He (Alan) never showed up. Office staff let phone RING off the hook, and I finally got through about 11. Very expensive estimate and very disorganized operation. Recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing support.
