Ryan from Roto Rooter was awesome. We had everything backing up inside the house. He worked on our outside sewer line for quite some time. Got it working, and stayed to make sure everything was working well. He was very professional, informative, and a kind person. The prices were very reasonable. We were very happy with the service and information that Ryan gave us. Would definitely use this company again!

Service technician was fine, but the cap he put on our main drain was to small when he left we flushed the toilet and it leaked all over the basement. We called to get them back out and the after Hours guy at the office said there was nothing they could do to help us until the next day. So they just came out to snake our main line then flooded the basement with suage which was a problem they caused and they could do nothing to help us. Horrible service...all this after they didn't show up for our first appointment.

This is the second time I have used Roto Rooter to clean my basement drain. The first time was due to flooding. This time was preventative maintenance. Both times I was able to get next day appointments, the service techs were professional and courteous, they explained what they were doing and what the issue(s) was and answered my questions.

Chance and Keith were amazing. I had a different plumbing service out 2 months back. The other service got me for 1200 bucks and didn't fix my problem. I had root interference that they didn't clear out. Chance and Keith with Roto Rooter took one look at my issue and said they could get it fixed for $260. They were shocked when I told them what the other company had charged me. They showed me everything they did. Showed me why what the other guys did was wrong and messed up for what they charged. Adam and Liam from Roto Rooter came out within an hour after we called in with our problem which was a backed up sewer drain. Adam and Liam went above and beyond throughout - my wife and I live in an old, quirky house where even every day repairs can be challenging. Adam and Liam helped us find the access point on our sewer line which was hidden behind some wood paneling from homeowners long since passed. Adam and Liam explained the rationale for everything they did and took care to explain pricing as well. Additionally, they were very pleasant and reassuring. We greatly appreciate Adam and liam’s hard work and friendly professionalism - they are assets to the Roto Rooter team. My wife and I will be sure to use Roto rooter again for our plumbing needs.

The technician Austin stopped by our house to snake our drains when we were having issues. He did his job efficiently and without a mess. He was able to work around our schedule and came earlier than originally anticipated to get the job done.

I do appriecate the fact the technician waited for me as I arrived home and came the same day I called, but not much information was given to me to feel at ease. But was quick to charge me a fee.

Adam was my plumber. He was extremely nice, he will answer any questions and concernsyou have. He will walk you through everything he is doing and help you understand to the best of your knowledge. Called them last night, they called back at 7:45a and had 2 technicians at my house at 8:15a. Rory and Shawn asked me about what was going on, told me what they thought the issue was and came up with a plan to verify. 10 minutes later they confirmed where the problem was, we talked about options to resolve it, and they had line out to the street clear in under an hour. They noticed my bathtub draining slow and offered to fix that as well!! Rory and Shawn did a great job cleaning up and spent a few minutes afterwards talking about different options for cleanouts if required and even some time going over preventative maintenance to minimize the chance of future issues with the sewer line. I would highly recommend using this company for any of your plumbing projects or repairs!!

I used roto rooter for 2 years at my residential and at my business! At the house i rent i always called no problem big or small got great service. I called for my business a very rude ellen/hellen lady charged me for services that werent done. I asked to speak with manager she kept making up lies about her whereabouts when i was promised a call thursday. I had a problem on sunday. And now its friday. The tech never came back out in business hours to get the job done. She hung up on me. Lied and took my hard earned money from me, service isn’t completed. I just went into business now im losing money have been all week bc i dont have an operable toilet.

Was on time and professional. Everything works properly and estimate was within ten dollars of final cost.

Roto Rooter has always been a reliable company whenever I have called and needed them to snake my sewer. They usually come out right away and my sewer would normally stay cleared for at least a year. This last time that I called, I had to call them back after a couple months because it was backing up again but they came out and cleared it for no charge. Professional and friendly company with a guarantee so that deserves a 5 star rating from me.

Unfortunately, since having the work done last year we have not had any of the torrential rains we experienced last year. However, with all the clean outs installed it will be so much easier to find any problems should they occur. The guys that did the work were punctual and professional, not even stopping for much of a break during two long days, some of which required hand digging 3-4 foot deep holes for clean out installation. They also cleaned up at the end of each day.

Called around to get quotes to clean a kitchen sink drain. All were at least a day away from being able to come. Roto Rooter said they could be there in 20 minutes. They were more expensive but most responsive and eager for my business. Roy and Daniel did awesome.

Came out looked at sewer in basement stood in sewer water started to come out of back room that is tiled and heading for my carpeted room stopped him and told him I hope you ate not going to walk on my carpet with them shoes he abruptly stopped and said he will take off his shoes first
The other guy didnt go in room while I was there but was standing on some carpet that got wet from backup.they did what they had to do to unclog drain and after they left I saw their footprints of dirty sewage water on carpet and stairs coming up from basement
even on hardwood floors upstairs where they walked for me to sign and pay
They were both very polite.we had a few questions and didnt seem like they had to many answers.so now I had to scrub stairs and carpet in basment and washed hardwood floors upstairs wherever they walked. Also come timeto pay and now they are adding a fuel surcharge on my bill yet they advertise that they service Monroe County
So why the extra charge. Will never use them again.

Here is the scenario, I am a new homeowner and with our current sub-freezing temperatures I believe I have some frozen pipes and would like to get them taken care of ASAP. As I call around town, all local plumbers are extremely busy and keep referring me around town. That was not successful so I decided to go with what I thought would be a good company, I see there commercials everywhere, Heck I even know the jingle.

I went to the Roto-Rooter website friday afternoon and set-up an appointment via the website. The appointment was scheduled to be between 3 and 5 pm. I did recieve a confirmation e-mail but no phone call. I called them back at 6 to see what was happening and the operator told me she would page the on-call tech. By 7 I still had not recieved a phone call so I called again and the operator would page the tech again. By 7:30PM I recieved a phone call to inform me that the equipment to thaw the pipes was not available with the on-call plumber. He assured me that I would recieve a call first thing in the morning. It is 10:00 AM on saturday and I have just recieved my phone call, only to inform me that they wouldn't be able to get to me until late MONDAY afternoon.

I understand that the temperatures are colder than normal and they are extremely busy, but to confirm an appointment and then not follow-up with a phone call then to have the appointment moved almost 60 hors later is POOR customer service. The tech that called me back on friday evening also told me that he had been working for Roto-Rooter for 18 years and did not know they took online reservations... wow! I am underwhelmed.

I had a pool problem, but no idea what was going on. Chance came out & thoroughly explained my problems, I had a clog & plumbing problems. He was in & out fast. The price was reasonable for all he did. Very professional.

Terrible service. Set an appointment last week for today between 9-12. Guy never showed and no courtesy call. Called the office. Was told he got held up on another job and he should be out soon. 2 hours went by. Called office again. Guy just finished and is on his way. 45 min went by. Called the office again and told them he still wasn't here. They don't know where he is. Cancelled appointment and lost a days work. Never again. A courtesy call would have went a long way with me.

Had a main pipe in baaement leaking fixed in a few hours, found out a few other pipes needed replaced (outdated) all together cost about $2100 we figured with all the work done wasn't too bad. That was a week ago and now the flow is great again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COMPANY! I put in a request to have my kitchen sink looked at because it was leaking. When I called the office, I spoke to one of the girls that answered the phone and she was a sweet as pie, she not only helped me out and got me on the schedule she was kind enough to listen to me complain about other companies that refused to do the work. I got a call about 2 hours later that Dave was on his way, he came out and looked at my sink and fixed the problem within 1 hour.
Like I said, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this company and will be using them in the future with all my problems!

We had a kitchen sink that was backed up, called Roto-Rooter, and Adam came the next morning at 9:00. Not only did he fix the problem quickly he was very personable and professional. Don't hesitate to call Roto-Rooter if you have a plumbing issue, these are the people to call!

I wanted to brag I was able to change a gate valve to a ball valve--had all the parts but I just didn't have the strength and the right pipe wrench. Took about 10 minutes and only one hour labor charge which was $148.00. Couldn't thank them enough for getting me all fixed up at the last minute! I will definitely call them again. Horrible experience. No communication. Technician left in the middle of job that he started, letting water leak from bathroom down to living room. When finally contacted by the tech who walked off the job, he stated his boss told him to begin another job. When I contacted the office, they said no one was available until Monday, mind you this took place on Friday at 2pm. When I questioned why no one was available and their website advertises 24 hour service, the representative hung up on me. When I called back she hung up on me again stating that there is nothing they can do. Do yourself a favor and never use this company ever!

Wasted my day waiting for them. Then finally the “technician” called me at the end of the to tell me that he looked up the unit and it was discontinued in 2001. He then proceeded to tell me the rest were sold to Mexico in 2010. When I told him the unit was put in 5-6 years ago he said “ well I don’t know what to tell you”. If he “looked up the unit” then why make me wait all day to get ahold of me? I inform him I was going to go with another company after the wait (without a call) and his him not even coming out to take a look at it his response was “oh well “. Horrible customer service!

After we had a plumber come out and say there was nothing he could do, he suggested Roto Rooter. We called and they came that day and in less than 2 hours fixed the problem. Zack was our tech and he was very nice and even gave us tips and tricks for our drain. Biggest thing was he cleaned up after he was done and didnt leave a mess. The last plumber left a mess. Wish we would of gone with them sooner! Thank you!!

I had a great experience a few years ago with this company. I should have called them again right off the bat for a recent problem I had. Instead, i had to call them in to to take care of a problem that Drain Doctor botched. Long story short, Drain Doctor charged me for a service they actually made worse. Then they were going to charge me more to fix the problem. Luckily due to their poor customer service I couldn't get them out to do the job. So instead I called Roto Rooter. They came out and took care of the original problem. And told me there was no other problem that needed fixed. I will never call anybody again except roto rooter. Everything about the experience was exceptional. From the second the office took the call I felt that my business was important. The person on the phone was prompt, courteous and respectful. And she held true to her word every step of the way. She gave me a day and time and she got back to me to confirm we were still scheduled. Then she called me when the tech was on his way. The tech was kind and patient with us as we explained our horror story with the other plumbing company. He assessed the situation, handled it professionally, and went through the extra steps needed to ensure that we didn't need any other work done.

Technician came to house and did not know what he was supposed to do. He was very rude and was fixated on getting paid. Any other company has to better than this one.

I seen a broadcast on tv that our sump pumps needed cleaned annually. Called to ask about this service and the owner went above and beyond explaining why someone would need this service . She explained at this point we could handle some things in our own, but if needed they would be able to handle for us. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have a business not be out to take your money ! Will definitely turn to this company if the need ever comes. And it’s a family owned company!

We had a clogged, slowly flooding basement. Chance from Roto-Rooter came and quickly fixed our issue within 20 minutes. He also gave us suggestions to prevent further problems. Highly recommend!!!

The dispatcher was really nice and had someone at my house within a couple hours. Rory, the tech / plumber knew what he was doing and got me so I could use my bathroom again. He was open, honest, and communicated prices with me every step of the way, multiple times, so there would be no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. He also likes dogs, so I didn't even have to lock up my 4 ankle bitters during the visit. I would recommend.

I had an unusual and complicated job to replace a water heater which heated the ambient heat floor for our sunroom. Went to the Home Depot initially and their guy looked at it and couldn't do it. These guys quoted a higher price, but I certainly now concur was more than fair, and then really worked long and hard to make it work. These were good, diligent people that put in the extra effort to deliver a heating unit and system that is fully operational. I was very pleased with their service and expertise and would not hesitate to use them again.

I would've given this a no star, but it wouldn't let me.
Their technician showed up, unprepared.
He had no protection for my BRAND NEW CARPET, so we had to take our bedroom blankets and place them on the floor to allow him to move his nasty sewage covered machine around, and to protect our carpets form his boots. He left small piles of sewage on the basement floor, which I'll admit is very muddy and nasty. But it is in the basement and that is where it belongs. He also left muddy sewage on my kitchen wood floors, and bathroom wood floors.

UPDATE:
The General manager contacted me today 4/26/18 to discuss the situation. She was unaware this tech wasn't using the equipment that she said they provide which included booties and other methods of protecting the property.
We spoke for about ten minutes, and without me poking or prodding for a resolution, I only stated the situation, she made an offer to clean the mess up and make this situation better and correct.
Which they did completely.

I have had them come out a few times and each time they did an excellent job. The last time they were amazing. I had a terrible experience with another company and Roto Rooter was to the rescue. They did a great job and in no time everything was back up and running perfectly. The plumber kept me completely informed on what needed to be done, the order of priority, and the cost. The price was reasonable and the guarantees on the work is a relief. That last company refused to come back out or refund me. I will never call another plumbing company.

Came out to clean my drain to the street, started at noon and by 330pm told me had to pay $150 per hour after 4pm which was never discussed with me prior to repair!

Tech was very knowledgeable and looked into everything to find the problem and fix it. I called at 6:30 this morning and they couldn't get anybody out until 12:30 is my only complaint as my toilet was continually flooding with no use all day long.

Everything went great. The service man showed up when they said he would. He got straight to work to determine what the issue was, and fixed it promptly. He was finished with the job quickly, and was in and out in less then an hour. We are highly satisfied with our services today!

Amazing service! The man was thorough, went out of his way to determine actual root cause. I have an older home and finding the sewer access was difficult. He walked up and down the street looking for it to no avail. Explained everything as he worked and taught me more about how the history of sewage and home plumbing than I thought possible. For a younger guy, he knew his info. Definitely recommend them again.

I made a call this morning because we've had a clogged drain. The girl that answered the phone was very polite and kind. She let me know that the service guys were out and they could get to me this afternoon. It was less than an hour when I got the call that a service guy was on his way to my house. He was in and out, very nice and professional. The clog is gone and we can finally use our kitchen sink again! I would recommend them. Quick service!
