Don is such a great guy! He installed new shutters, fixed a botched dishwasher installation and repaired fence and siding in about three hours for a great price. He even tolerated the obnoxious cat trying to help him.

Don was very professional and helped me develop a scope of work that fit my needs. He even allowed me to observe, learn from his work, and he was happy to answer any questions I had to learn more about how to care for my home. If I have any more work that I need done I will certainly give him a call back!
Don is a great repairman and even better guy. He was on time, professional and beyond helpful when we hired to him to repair our back yard hose spigot and a few other things around the house. He treated our home with respect and was very thorough in identifying the correct repair and materials needed for the job (s). He left our home better than he found it and was a pleasure to work with. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Don!

Don was great! Efficient and very nice work.
I would recommend him to anyone who wants it done right.
I hired Don's Home Improvement to replace damaged drywall in my garage and furnace closet. He also walled in the crawl space access closet and made a plywood door to cover the crawl space access. I never thought to enclose the crawl space access closet, but it was great decision. I now have usable closet space that isn't open to the underside of the house. The repairs went great and Don's workmanship is excellent. The price was reasonable, too. If you need drywall work done at your house, Don's the guy.

I found Don's Home Improvement info while purchasing a storm door at Menard's. After sending a inquiry email, Don responded almost immediately even though it was after business hours. On the day of the appointment, he was on time, very friendly and professional. My door looks awesome! He will be doing all my future home repairs that look like they are too big of a job for me, and need a professional touch. Thank you again Don!

Don has done outstanding work for us every time we have had him come in. That includes installing a new door and preparing the family room for new carpet - removal of carpet (including taking it out to street for trash) and sealing the floor. We highly recommend him!
Don did a great job at replacing the cabinet baseboard under my sink and fixing a drawer that I tried to try to fix on my own with pretty shoddy results. He was clear at explaining what he was going to do and really delivered on the on the quality of his workmanship. We have already discussed items for future projects and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
I had a spigot that was nearly stuck and painful to turn on/off...Don came out to give me an estimate and soon after we set a date for the repair. Don is very knowledgeable and budget conscious. He explained the repair in great detail. Very much recommended..I will be using Don's services in the future.

We were referred to Don's Home Improvement by our local Menards. Don came to our home to provide a quote and we selected him to complete multiple projects: replacement interior doors, converting a bifold door to a regular door, baseboard and trim work, and hanging wood blinds. Projects were completed on time and as quoted. We already have another project list started, and we will be contacting Don in the upcoming months.
Contacted Don for some work and they told me they would come out to give me an estimate in a few days. On the day they were supposed to come out he decided to cancel. Don told me the next day he would be available would be Aug 18 and I told him that is okay and to put me for that time slot. I reached out today to ask if we were still on for the 18th and then he told me he doesn’t work with out of stars investors. He had known I was out of state on the day I reached out. I don’t mind him not accepting my business but it’s very rude and unprofessional to make me wait for weeks and then tell me he won’t do the work. I wouldn’t trust with any work that needs to be done promptly.

Don has came out to install our back sliding door and he just came out to fix a leak in my kids bathroom and did a nice job on fixing and installing an access panel for future use.
He installed two storm doors for me and i'm quite pleased.Very polite and did a great job.Highly recommend. Dennis Roush.
