I needed a new water heater and chose Amanda Plumbing based on a referral. They had to find the correct one for my home, and did that quickly. I was able to schedule the service for the next day. My tech, Charles, was able to arrive a bit earlier than my scheduled time. He was very nice and professional. They had to move the gas line, and then checked my stove and furnace before leaving to make sure they were working correctly. Great company and technicians, I would definitely use them again.

Amanda plumbing gave us fast service when our sump pump failed this past weekend. Even late on a Friday night they had someone available to set up an appointment early Saturday so that our situation didn't get too much worse. Our plumber was fast with the install and gave us options for a more powerful sump pump if we wanted. I only wish they carried more than one brand, but I can understand why they don't.

While working from home, I heard a sudden gush of water and quickly found a pipe that had burst in my basement. Not knowing who to call, I asked a friend of mine if she could recommend a plumbing service and without hesitation, she told me about Amanda Plumbing. She said they had helped her, her father, her neighbor, and another friend of hers, and highly recommended them. So, I called AP and they were at my house within 3 hours!!! They fixed the problem within an hour and a half, were so professional, and the cost came in UNDER their initial estimate! It was a great first experience. What a relief to what could have been a major damage/problem! Months later, I noticed a water stain on the ceiling of my downstairs bathroom and realized water must be leaking somewhere from my bathroom upstairs. I found the leak....it was from the back tank of the toilet whose bolts had rusted through. I was able to shut off the water to the toilet and stop the drip. I called AP again, and they were able to schedule a plumber to come out the very next day. He too, was professional and fixed it quickly without issue, for a very affordable price. I'm so grateful for Amanda Plumbing! They are now my go-to for any plumbing issues, and I too, now highly recommend them to others in need of any plumbing service.

Downspout discharge line was damaged in tree lawn area. The pipe ended up caving in. I was able to get an estimate for repair just by sending photos of the damage with a yardstick showing the size of the damaged pipe. Amanda Plumbing set up an appointment for repair. They came within the time I was told they would. Tech sent me a text letting me know when he was on the way. The problem was quickly repaired while it was raining. Technicians were great! And repair cost actually came in a little under the estimate. Will definitely call them if I am in need of any plumbing services in the future.

Last Saturday morning, our hot water tank plumbing sprang a leak. We immediately went into the mode of How in the world do we pick a good plumber?, which in an emergency on a weekend is super stressful. I looked up reviews and had a good gut feeling to go with Amanda, and I'm glad we did. I will say, yes, it's true that weekend rates to have someone come diagnose are not cheap, but I'm sure that's true of literally every home repair service on short notice and a weekend. My husband was going to try replacing a valve himself to see if that'd fix it, and I said, no let's have a professional look to make sure this isn't a bigger problem going on. Jon came out and was able to confirm that unfortunately it wasn't one of the type problems that would've been just a repair job, it was instead a full replace. Our tank was from 2008 so hey, it was a matter of time. I'm glad we were able to get a professional opinion and a direct answer as to our problem and the solution. We ended up buying our own tank and scheduling for Amanda to do the install on Monday to be able to do it at weekday rates, so it was a long hot water-less weekend, but it was our choice! They would have taken care of it same-day if we'd wanted, so that's speedy service. Daniel took care of everything with the Monday install, and we're happy with how the transaction went. Everything was done on-time, efficiently, and no damage or mess made. Both employees were nice and friendly people, which was a plus. I honestly had no idea going into it if the price we paid for the install was average, low, or high, but in talking with some coworkers this week, I was able to confirm that the price we paid for our install-only was right in the ballpark (a little bit lower) compared to what my coworker paid who was having another company install his HWT today. I also like that this company mentioned a veteran's discount, so that's a big plus in my book. I'm glad now that I have a reputable plumber in my arsenal, so next time anything plumbing comes up I know exactly who to call.

This is the second time I have called Amanda Plumbing. Both times, they have gotten to my home in an extremely timely fashion. The team has been professional and thoughtful. The work has been completed quickly and I have not had further issues. I recommend Amanda Plumbing!

I used Amanda Plumbing for the first time and was very happy with their service. I received a text and a phone call from Tyler, the assigned plumber before he arrived. When Tyler arrived, he was very professional and polite. The reason for my service call was regarding an issue with my garbage disposal. Tyler fixed the garbage disposal and didn’t try to oversell me with replacing the disposal instead of fixing. I found my new plumbing company.

I was sent a text with a photo of the plumber who would be arriving to my home and his name. He then called me and told me when he was leaving and to expect him within ten minutes. Very professional, neat, service was completed well within the time frame estimated. Great company and highly recommend!

The fellas did a terrific job. They identified the issue quickly and had the parts with them to fix the problem, taking care to explain what they were doing and why. Have used Amanda Plumbing for at least 15 years. They are excellent.

We had a sewer backup in our house at 8:30pm at night.. I called 15 other 24/7 plumbing agencies prior to reaching Amanda's Plumbing. Amanda's Plumbing was the only agency that had a technician that could unclog our sewer on the same night.. Caleb arrived within the time frame that was given. He gave a courtesy call to let us know he was on his way prior to arriving. Caleb was professional and courteous and answered our questions.

If only we had called Amanda Plumbing first. The leak (more like a geyser) would have been repaired and we would have had water a day earlier. Caleb and Graham came out, turned the water back on, and had the problem located in minutes. A short time later the pipe was repaired and we had water again. The guys cleaned up, leaving the floor looking better than it had looked in days. When Caleb told me the amount, I was very surprised that it was MUCH less than the $1000 plus that another company (who didn't even look for the problem because the water was turned off at the road) had told me it would be! If I could, I'd give 20 stars. Amanda Plumbing will be the first call for any future plumbing needs we may have!

We have used Amanda Plumbing for several services, most recently the back-flow test. They arrived as expected, and handled our job in a quality and efficient manner. Would not hesitate to call them again for any of our plumbing needs!

The drain in my kitchen sink came apart . Charles came to take care of the problem. Very nice and professional. I have never used this company before and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Company excavated and replaced the conductors leading from the downspouts to the street. The contract clearly indicated that Amanda was not responsible for irrigation systems. I was also told that Amanda would attempt to repair any damage that they noticed during the excavation. I accepted the contract under the mistaken belief that repairs would be attempted. There are at least three areas where the pipes are sticking up out of the ground. No attempt was made to repair any of the three. Again, I accepted the contract as written. However, I feel as though I was misled about potential repair. I post this as a warning to others who may need similar services performed.

I use Amanda Plumbing for my plumbing needs. The Service Technicians are always on time, pleasant, they move right along on the job. The office folks are pleasant, and helpful. No complaints.

Amanda Plumbing installed a gas line from our house to our outdoor grill. The plumber who provided the estimate and completed the work was Dan. The work was timely and professional, and the communication was great.

We chose Amanda Plumbing to replace our underground water & sump pump lines recently. It was a great experience from the start having spoke with Mandy on the phone, meeting Hayden with the estimate & Bob & Ryan who came out to do the work which was completed quick & efficiently. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda plumbing. My sink stopped draining a few days before Thanksgiving, which of course caused me to completely panic. After several failed DIY attempts I called and was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. My technician Dan was so professional and walked me through what he was doing and why. On 1-3-2023, Israel and his partner worked all day and then some replacing our main waterline to our house. Despite being wet and covered in mud, they never stopped. Throughout the whole process they kept a good attitude and were informative of their findings. Good job guys!

They were fast and did a great job. If you want it done right go to Amanda Plumbing. Probably a little more cost than others, however, their value is higher than others. We'll use them again if any issues arise.

I've now used Amanda Plumbing a few times, and they are fantastic. I originally included them in my round of quotes I got for a tankless water heater to replace an again hot water tank, based on their online reviews and comments from friends. Their quote for the exact same product and installation was less than their main, large, local competitor - and so I gave them a shot for this fairly large job.
They were amazing! I've since used them for a couple other things - most recently a plumbing leak in the ceiling on a weekend. They were at my home very quickly, took great care to make the smallest cuts in my ceiling as possible while keeping everything safe and clean, and repaired the issue.

We had a clog in our drain from the sump pump out to the street. Amanda Plumbing came up quickly on a Google search and they had great reviews so we decided to go with them to fix our plumbing problem. They always answered the phone when I called and were on time at the early end of the service window we were scheduled for- I was very impressed. The guys were professional, efficient, and explained the problem and solution to us. I don't have comparisons to know if their pricing is high/low/average, but I was really happy with the quality of the service we received. I would use them again.

Amanda Plumbing is AMAZING!!!!!!! We had them out on Sunday for a leak in our ceiling. My husband could not find the leak. It turns out it was from our upstairs toilet leaking. I’ve used Amanda for both regular plumbing and emergency situations for 7+ years. We needed someone to check our sump pump and see if it was working properly. I had noticed a couple of homeowners had used Amanda Plumbing and made a mental note to check them out. This company is fantastic. Called them at 10pm last night about a broken pipe. They were at our house at 8am today, and had it fixed by 830.

We have used them several times over the years to unclog drains and replace both of our water heaters. They are always very fast, courteous, and reasonably priced.

It was difficult finding a company to complete the installation of our humidifier to our furnace. A number of companies never returned inquiries.

Amanda Plumbing was very responsive and provided a rough estimate over the phone. They were able to come out 2 days earlier than arranged and took care of the install in less than an hour. Price was right where rough estimate was. Installer was courteous and honored the need for a mask that I requested. Would go back to them in a heart beat.

We have used Amanda Plumbing for both indoor plumbing needs and main sewer line jetting and evaluation for replacement for our rental property. We have been satisfied with Tyler's work on the inside. Our experience with the ongoing main sewer line has been quite inconsistent. The first time it was jetted, they did a good job and diagnosed one of the problems. However, the next time they came they did not fully complete the job and said he was unable to view the problems with his camera. That plumber admitted that he is in charge of INSIDE plumbing issues. It backed up again after 4 days and we had a different plumber come out who quickly resolved the issue by unclogging the smaller line from the lowest point in the basement that attaches to the main pipe in about 5 minutes. He also used his camera and quickly saw that it is not just the problem that Amanda diagnosed but that there are several cracks along the pipe. He had us view it with him and pointed the issues out as he went along. And he charged a fraction of the price.

I'm leaving to go out of town in two days so of course something has to break in my house. This time it was the water line to my washer. I called Amanda Plumbing in a panic because water was everywhere. My laundry room is on the first floor and water was essentially a wall in my basement right below. The technician on duty walked me through how to find my main shut off. When I couldn't find it, he came right over to help. I did find it before he arrived but he still checked things out and set up an appointment for repair tomorrow.

My house has had a lot of plumbing repairs over the years by Amanda Plumbing. It's always done exceptionally well and efficiently. I will use them as long as I can.

Nate from Amanda Plumbing was awesome! Very knowledgeable, even knew what was the issue before needing to remove shower faucet covers. Took care of all my needs, was honest and upfront. He even answered some other questions I had that were plumbing related but not in their repair scope (one was actually electrician, and the other was outdoor/drainage).
I would feel very comfortable calling them again for service.

amanda plumbing installed 100' of drain tile to fix the flooding problem in my backyard. they arrived on time. did an excellent
job. it rained, hard, for 2 days last week. we live on the banks of 1 of the creeks that flow into the alum creek reservoir. EVERYONE'S back yard did flood. due to amanda's work, ours was the only 1 that drained dry within 2 hours. i look forward to their return to finish the job. the soil, from digging the ditch, must settle before they can return and restore the backyard. also, they will fill in the ditch (hole) where a lp gas tank had been buried. this was the 2nd time to my house. they repaired my inside plumbing problems prior to this work. SO, if you need a plumbing repair job, or major drainage problem, they are the people to contract with.

Have used these guys twice and both times been impressed by how quick and easy it was to work with them. Especially the first time where we were able to text him pictures ahead of time so he arrived already familiar with the unit and where it was going. Both times they were courteous and professional throughout. And the prices seemed fair.

Nate and Drew were awesome! They were both very professional, kind and helpful. Nate had years of expertise and was able to answer all of my various other household plumbing questions, and he also took time to explain important information regarding the specific faucet system that they installed for me. I had a gas leak and the utility shut my gas off until I could get someone to come and repair the leak. Temp was ~0 (cold!!!!). Amanda Plumbing came out the same day, and had it fixed in 30 minutes! Heat was back on same day! Excellent, fast service!!!!

I have had Tyler from Amanda Plumbing out to the house about 3 times now for various tasks that needed done. He ran some water lines, connected a brand new sink/faucet, added a backup battery system to one of my sump pumps and has worked on the discharge pipe that was installed by another company for the other sump pump. Each time he has completed a job, I have been very happy with his work which is why I have engaged his services 3 times. He is Professional, cleans up his workspace, and does a neat job. He and Amanda Plumbing are my go to for my plumbing needs.

Luckily, we haven't had a lot of plumbing problems at our place, but when we do, we call Amanda. Prompt, professional and friendly, these guys have always been great. This visit was to replace a broken commode shut-off valve at my Mother-in-laws condo. They showed up promptly and were patient while I struggled to find the main shut-off. Great guys to work with.

Had a water main break and they repaired the waterline for what I was quoted—not cheap, but almost $1k less than 4 other quotes I got! They also did a decent job of landscape recovery after excavation. They also were the only plumbers to offer a fix in less than 5 days. This is a good company to work with when it comes to waterline repair—up front and fair.

We had a bad leak in our bedroom after hours and needed an emergency visit. Amanda Plumbing was there within 30 minutes. The plumber checked everything out and made sure we'd turned off the water, then told us we weren't going to be charged since he felt he didn't do anything. The repairs were non-emergency and the cleanup was going to take some time, so he suggested we schedule something the next day so we didn't pay emergency rates.

Highly recommend for this professional behavior. We were frantic and could have been taken advantage of, but instead we were told no charge for the visit.

Amanda plumbing got me in the schedule quickly (this was not an emergency, and they got to me in 3 business days). Contacted me about 20 minutes before they came to my house. They took care of the repair, cleaned up after themselves, and went over the final bill in about an hour.

The tech was extremely professional and personable. Came in, quickly identified what the issue was and made the repairs in a reasonable amount of time. My shutoff valve is located in tight quarters due to a basement remodel Caleb arrived on time and did a great job installing a new valve under difficult circumstances. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a quote for installation of a external natural gas hookup for our grill. Hayden gave me an estimate over the phone, was super nice and talked me through what he would need to do to complete the project. He estimated the cost to be $375. The three other plumbing companies in the area quoted a range of $500 to $700. In the end, we paid less than expected at $350. Not only did they get the job done well, but they did it at a fair and affordable price. Next time I need a plumbing project done, I won’t waste my time getting quotes from other companies when Amanda Plumbing provides quality work at the lowest pricing.

Hot water tank went down Tuesday. I called Amanda Plumbing based off of Angie’s List. They have such a great rating for a reason. From the first call they were attentive and responsive to our needs. We have a plumber at our house Thursday morning and got a new heater and were back up and going in no time. Great experience. We will be using them again....hopefully not too soon though.

The service tech. Caleb, and his co-worker did an excellent job. While the price was a little more than I anticipated, it took them longer than originally planned. They installed a new water softener/filtration system. They programmed and loaded the new system, removed the old system and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards.

Amanda Plumbing responded quickly to my rapidly deteriorating water heater. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and helpful. They also went above and beyond to determine if the leak reported to me by the water company was originating in the water heater. I would definitely recommend them.

We’ve called Amanda plumbing several times, and the reason we keep coming back is that the technicians are always professional, straight forward and perform quality work. I’ve never felt cheated or questioned work performed after a service call. I also appreciate the respect... sometimes with plumbers/electricians/etc they make you feel stupid for the problem, but not Amanda Plumbing. Amanda attempted to unclog two rain drains from the house to the curb. They were successful on one. The other one ran beside a large maple tree, so it wasn’t surprising that it was tougher. Prior to the service, they said their jet process was 95% successful.
The service was a flat $450 regardless of how successful it was. The other option they offered was digging a new trench and replacing the line for $2,000-$3,000. It would be nice if they offered to apply the jet service cost to replacement but did not.

Pleased with the efficiency of the time it took to repair the pipe after I told him that he would just have to come back after I cleaned enough stuff out of my closet so he could get to the pipe. The leak wasn't too big so I felt I had time. All worked out well. He got in here and fixed it.

I called Amanda Plumbing for an emergency pipe repair. The scheduler was kind and accommodating and even though they were fully booked they worked me into their schedule. The repairman called on his way, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time. First time using this company, and I would recommend Amanda for your plumbing needs.

We contacted Amanda Plumbing to install a ventless propane wall heater. They promptly came out to give a quote and we scheduled within a couple of weeks. Our home is very old, built in 1880, so we worried it would be quite a challenge but nonetheless, the installer, Dan, was more than capable and did an amazing job! The unit looks great! We have used Amanda Plumbing for a few projects and will continue to do so if we need them!

I've used a lot of plumbers, but this place is the best. Professional technicians, punctual, and they get the job done. What I REALLY like is that they'll actually tell you what most things cost on the phone. For example, I once called 4 other plumbers trying to get an estimate to have a new kitchen faucet installed. I have a relatively new house, standard under-mount stainless sink with unobstructed access from below. The first 4 refused to even give me a ballpark cost. They all wanted to send a technician who would give me a price onsite presumably under the mistaken assumption that I would feel too uncomfortable to say no and send them away if the quoted price was a ripoff. By stark contrast, Amanda told me an exact number on the phone and that was what I paid. I appreciate that they don't play games like that.

Have used other companies in the past and always felt as if they were just trying to upsell me. However, I had a fantastic experience with Amanda Plumbing. Service tech was at my home on time and very polite, clean and professional. Job came in less than estimated and I had another contractor out that quoted twice as much for the same exact job. Not to mention Amanda Plumbing was able to quote over the phone a fairly simple gas line run to the stove, while the other company insisted they would have to come out and take a look first. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Tyler was extremely helpful and explained the issue that we had with our first floor bathroom. He called approximately 15 minutes prior to arrival and went to work right away. The installer, Tyler, of the 2 toilets I needed was exceptional. He was at my home right on time & called to let me know he was on his way. He was professional and courteous. He put on & took off the shoe covers every time he transitioned in & out of my house. He was very responsive to every question I asked. He offered to take the toilets to the curb for bulk pick-up. Hi did great work and was done faster than I expected. The cost was very reasonable compared to the time it would have taken me to complete the job.

I have used Amanda plumbing 3 times this year, once to find and repair a 2nd floor bathroom leak on new years day, install a tankless water heater, and repair/unclog a basement sewer drain. Each time they arrived as promised and provided friendly and capable staff. Overall very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to everyone I know.

Service was great. I got a quote on Tuesday for hot water tank replacement over phone and they were out on Wednesday. Jeremy was masked, gloved and removed and replaced his booties each time he went out and came back in. The area around the tank was cleaned up from the previous leak. I was impressed with how smoothly the whole operation was. Would definitely call them again if needed.

We are so happy to have our kitchen renovation complete. We had a leak that led us to get new cabinets and a new counter, we needed a profession to reinstall the kitchen sink and garbage disposal pipes and replace a bad valve that was leaking. I called Amanda plumbing for some septic issues I was having. It was awful. I imagined the absolute worst scenario, so now that it is all resolved in less than 12 hours from my call (I believe Connie would have sent someone over that afternoon if I had only asked) and the most reasonable cost imaginable (!!) I am over the moon happy. I have used many plumbers, and never have I been treated so fairly.

Hayden and Brian were only here for an hour and managed to listen to the issues I was having, dig out my septic lid, lift it off, use a camera to locate the inlet, do diagnostic work to determine where the problem was, and then snake the inlet pipe. After removing many roots from my line, they determined the problem was resolved, so they put all their equipment away, put my lid back, spread the soil over it, and wrote out my bill. They did all that in about an hour!! Wow! Hayden’s diagnostic mind and listening ability definitely helped to resolve my issues. They were all business, and their business is getting the job done!!

I had an old corroded and leaking sewage ejection pit replaced, which is a very unpleasant job, and the technicians handled it very professionally. The tech even stayed late to add a missing trap in the furnace condensate line that we had not noticed prior. The pricing was very competitive, especially for the quality of work and professionalism of the technicians. I will be using them again whenever possible.

Called them on a Sunday with a sump pump problem. They were there within 3 hours. Sump needed to be replaced, but one in the van was cracked, so he drove back to their shop to get one. Replacement working perfectly. Great service.

Several hours and hundreds of dollars later...it was 5 o'clock so I guess they had to leave the worst gas leakes for some one else. The next day They were happy to schedule a new appointment the following week.... ? my family just had to do without ? . Left the JOB half finished. Amanda Plumbing. I called Amanda Plumbing a couple weeks ago because our hot water tank was leaking and we needed to have it replaced. I received a price quote over the phone after I answered some questions about our current hot water heater and they were able to send someone out within a couple days.

The plumber they sent, Dan, arrived on the day promised within the 4-hour time block we were given after first calling to let me know he was on his way. Dan was incredibly polite and professional. He replaced our broken water heater with a new (far better quality) water heater in just a couple hours. He even replaced several pipes with new copper pipes, broken water shut off valve and drained and hauled off the old, broken water heater. Dan was also patient and helpful in answering my questions and I was impressed that he wore shoe protectors when walking through the upstairs hallway to keep my wood floors clean.

The final invoice presented at the end of the visit exactly matched the price quote I received over phone, which was wonderful.

Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend and use Amanda Plumbing again!

Needed to replace our hot water heater, a friend recommended Amanda and they were able to come out on consecutive days to replace the existing two units. Our tech Tyler was friendly and got us back in business. Now we have plenty of hot water and the manufacturer they installed (Bradford White) is highly rated.

Hopefully we're set for another 15 years.

Saturday morning and discovered my sump pump stopped working and could see water rising and getting ready to overflow. Called several places and turn around time was 4 hours! Called Amanda Plumbing and had a plumber out within 1-1.5 hr. Joe was honest, courteous, and fast. Got the job done within 40minutes. Fabulous experience and definitely recommend them. Absolutely will be using them in the future.

Second time we used Amanda Plumbing, first was for a different problem a few years back. The plumber and the trainee were very polite and clean in there work. Answered questions we had and suggested what we could do so we would not have the problem again.

Steve is excellent. Amazing work, very helpful, and cleaned up everything afterwards. I wasn't able to watch everything myself, but I don't know how he was able to take down a cabinet and reinstall it (to access the back of a pot filler faucet) all by himself. Friendly, responsive staff, but I did have to call them back a day or so later because one of the installed toilets was leaking. They fixed it quickly and it's been fine ever since. 2nd time out charged full hour for something that took 15 minutes. 3rd time out 3 hours late and also charged full hour for 15 minute job.

Tyler was able to install 2 faucets and reattach them to our new countertops and sinks. Came on time and was very efficient. Very nice man and the job was completed quickly and for a third the cost of another estimate.

We used this service twice in the last two months. Workers are great, owner is not. Very unprofessional, very irresponsible. We called to have a clog issue resolved, and asked to have the line cleared as well. One of two services were not completed. When I made this apparent to the company, I was told that my lack of communication was the issue, along with me not being knowledgeable about pipelines. How am I supposed to know? That’s the reason we hired a plumber. Besides from that, she handled the situation as if she was an employee who hated her job, not the person running a successful business. Overall, it’s the management that is ending our business with them. We live in an older house and make several repairs, and make them immediately. I can foresee them losing a lot of money from us alone. Use another company if friendliness, and reliability matters. These aren’t inexpensive services, so I’m not happy with giving them my money again. Receptionist was great, guys were great, the owner’s entitled attitude will run them into the ground, unfortunately.

I hired Amanda Plumbing to install a new sump pump discharge line and tie my gutters into it. They were responsive, competitively priced, and I was happy with the work.

Jeremy called 10 minutes before arrival and was Punctual. In fact I most have been scheduled early because the time frame I was given. He was there at 8 am. I called Amanda for a pin hole in a copper line. None emergency! Pin hole was in a older home craw space. Schedule at my convince for repair. Jeremy replaced the copper line with the leak, checked his work and both of us agreed the problem was resolved . I have used Amanda Plumbing before. I highly recommend and I will always us for my plumbing needs.

I called Monday morning due to a hot water line leak under our kitchen sink. I had turned the water off so it was not an emergency, but they had someone there by early afternoon. He cut out and replaced the fitting and completed the work in less than an hour. We have used Amanda Plumbing at both our house and our son's house on multiple occasions, including a new tankless hot water heater at our house and a new standard hot water heater at our son's house, and we have been happy every time.

I am very happy with the company. I was struggling with leaks in the kitchen for several weeks and other company was not able to diagnose and fix it. I decided to try different company and found amanda plumbing via Google. They came over and fixed one of the leaks but next day, we discovered another leak so I called the company again. They came again quickly and was able to fixed the leak and did not charge us for it. I am very happy with the service. The company will be my go to company for plumbing needs!

Amanda Plumbing replaced a yard hydrant for me. The estimator gave me a written estimate and scheduled the job for a week later. The two-man crew arrived on time with a trackhoe, calling me beforehand to let me know they were on the way. They were professional and got the job done quickly, answering the few questions that I had. My only quibble is that I wasn't informed until after the job was done that there would be a 3% charge if I were to pay with a credit card,, so I wrote a check. I would definitely use them again.

Weekend emergency flooding due to clog in the sewage line. Came quickly and resolved it despite issues with how the install was done to cause said issue. He also reset the toilets to be done properly since he was already there. We're having them back during normal business hours to try to find real problem, but know they will do everything to fix it properly.

Have had Amanda plumbing our twice over the years to unclog a drain; both times efficiently handled. My last project was the installation of a Pelican whole house water filtration system by Dan Lindsley who was prompt, very knowledgeable and efficient and did a wonderful job. My girlfriend had a main line leak and Doug (Marine Veteran and owner) came out to look at the problem. Very knowledgeable, spoke intelligently, and knows what he is doing. Had a couple other quotes and she decided to go with Amanda plumbing. Once given the approval, They had the utilities marked, and main shut off tested. Doug had Bob and Justin out on the scheduled day and time to complete work. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and professional. They were done, had inspector out, and gone before noon. Bonus, I took a vacation day so this could be done and still got to enjoy my day off. Can't thank the three of these gentleman enough and would recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. I personally will never call anyone else in the Columbus area. Oh, by the way they were 25% of the lowest bid of a friend. Not 25% less than, but 25% of.

Amanda Plumbing has been great! When I first moved to the area 3 years ago, my basement flooded and they were there so fast. Since then, I have called several times and they are so good about coming out very quickly and they do great work at reasonable cost.

Daniel installed a pressure regulator for our main water line. This is the fourth time we have requested him because he is so great!! We will always use Amanda Plumbing and Daniel! Very highly recommend!!!!!

Amanda Plumbing was able to come out the same day that my shower stopped working, to my good fortune. The gentleman who came was polite and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my shower, as well as address a leak with my garbage disposal and replace a faucet on my downstairs sink all in the same visit. The last two of those things I'd been procrastinating getting fixed but when my shower stopped working, it made sense to bundle them.

I employed Amanda to bring Delco water into my home. They installed approximately 125' of supply piping, expansion tank and did the tie-in. They also removed my old cistern pump and pressure tank. They were pleasant, courteous, professional and did a good job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very good service. They showed up on time, reviewed my plumbing issues quickly and got to work. During the process they (patiently) answered all of my questions and also taught me a few things about my water heater that I wasn't aware of and about Del-Co water service. They finished in a short amount of time and charged me a fair price. I'll be calling Amanda again the next time I have a plumbing issue.

We had a plumbing emergency...called at 9 am and our service man was there by 1230, fixed the problem, explained things to us, and let me watch what he was doing. We needed a shower cartridge replaced. I tried to do it and stripped the screw. Tyler called 30 minutes before coming. He did a great job getting the stripped screw out and changed the cartridge. He was very professional and friendly. I will use Amanda again!

When I called in to Amanda Plumbing last week, the office staff was very friendly and got me an appointment that day for a relativley large job. I spoke with the owner, Doug before the work was done and he informed me of what the plumbers would be doing and was very friendly and reasonable with pricing. I was very pleased with the work done. Both plumbers who were at my home were very polite and professional. I will definitley be using them again!

Tyler called ahead of time to notify me that he was on his way, well within the estimated time he was scheduled to arrive. Once on scene he quickly diagnosed my problem along with an estimate for its solution. The repair was made shortly there after. As he was preparing to leave he asked if there was anything else he could do. Thankfully it reminded me of another situation I was dealing with. Soon (under his estimated time to complete) that task was completed in the same proficient manner.

Service was fantastic! Arrived less than 24 hours after we called, was able to quickly and identified the issue. When they came to make the repairs, they were able to complete it for significantly less than quoted. Hopefully I don't need to, but will definitely work with them again!

Disconnect gas dryer. The job did not take long and I was charged the reasonable amount I was quoted. I asked for a 30 minute time before arrival, which i received. The receptionist were professional and polite.

We had two clogged drains in our upstairs bathroom. The plumber came out and was not able to diagnose the problem until we removed the bathroom vanity. He said this would require him to come out with another plumber and gave an estimate of approximately $500 in addition to the $185 we had already paid.
I used another company that was able to quickly diagnose and remove the clog by snaking the pipe. Also, the vanity did not need to be removed.

Excellant service. Repairman was prompt , courteous, thorough and knew exactly what had to be installed. He gave us a thorough explaination of the work he performed. We will most certainly use Amanda for future plumbing needs.

We had Amanda Plumbing come to connect our sick, dishwasher, and disposal after we had new counters put in. They were prompt, professional, and charged HALF of what we were quoted. They are honest, which is wonderful and hard to find these days!

Steve arrived on time and used the time very efficiently. He quickly diagnosed our issue and did an excellent job of repairing it. He wore a mask and gloves and was very conscious of social distancing. I am very happy with the results!

We called Amanda Plumbing to check out some strange shavings that would show up in the water every once in awhile (probably once per month). When they came out, they basically had no idea what the cause was (they had never seen anything like it before), and it was difficult to investigate since it only happened once per month. Still, I had to pay $90, even though they didn't really help at all.

Fortunately, that is not the end of the story. I found an online forum that said the shavings were caused by the breakdown of rubber in the supply lines, so I called the owner and told him I was not satisfied with the service, since (I thought) I had figured out the source of the problem myself. He offered to send out the same people as before to replace my supply lines, and he would not charge me for the first hour of labor. I agreed.

When they came the second time, they figured out what the problem was! It was *not* the supply lines, as I had thought, but instead an air bladder that had been installed incorrectly, and whose rubber seal was breaking down. This was the source of the shavings. It was impressive that they figured this out.

Overall, then, I am very satisfied with the service. While I wish they would have identified the problem when they came out the first time, they did a very good job of responding to my concerns and ultimately finding a solution. They also strike me as honest and fair.

Amanda plumbing was very responsive with providing the quote and completing the job. There technicians were very courteous and left the job site clean. They handled all the permits with the city so it was hands off for me the home owner.

It was on the weekend and the hot water heater died. I called in the morning and they were able to come over and install a new one at around noon. The gentleman who came over was efficient and extremely pleasant. I have always had a great experience with the plumbers at this company

Green Oaks is a property management company in the Columbus Ohio area and we have frequent need for a skilled plumber at a reasonable price that can respond quickly and gets the job done right the first time. I have chosen Amanda plumbing to be my preferred provider because they meet all these criteria plus know how to treat our tenants with respect. I never have any concerns when the Amanda team is working in the tenant environment.

Some of the more complex jobs Amanda has assisted me with include 1) A broken valve on a 6 inch water main, five feet below the surface and the city inspectors demanding immediate action 2) A sewer drain that was completely plugged (this is where the jetter was used because it beyond the capability of any other tool) 3) A drain line under a cement slab foundation (they dug up the concrete, replaced the line and then re-concreted the floor).

I hired them twice and they disappointed me every time. They never fixed the problem or even told me what the problem is. When I called their customer service to tell them that the faucet is still leaking after few hours after they left, the lady was rude and said that I have to pay again for the service when they came back. I did pay for their second service and guess what ? the faucet leaked again after 24 hours. They are not honest.

This company will lie, cheat, and steal from you. Then they call you and blame your spouse for all their issues.
I had city water added to my property. They told me I had to have a back flow system installed. back flow systems must be inspected once a year at a cost of about $100 After speaking with Delco this was not necessary. Guess who charges the inspection fee. It takes longer to pull in the driveway than it does to test the back flow.
My fault, I called them again about replacing my septic lines in the back yard. Long story short they have been 2 my house twice charged me over $1500 to clean out the lines and now my system is back up again because the lines are still in the ground.
I highly suggest moving on to a company that stands behind their work and doesn't make excuses for their failures.

Had them change 2 bathtub fixtures for $400 We bought the fixtures at Lowes. Wife was home while the guy made the repair said he kept going back and checking things which she thought was good date 4/11/2016. July 2016 water was leaking into the basement. A different guy came fix the problem was told the guy that worked on it before was let go on poor performance. We were not charged. 8/08/2016 same thing was leaking still fixed no charge the leak was coining from faucet connection.
7/2017 water seemed it was losing pressure then no water at all. They came out had to order a new part from faucet company no charge. It was the inner parts of handle. They came back out in 8/2017 to install it $168 . My thought is that part went bad from them making adjustments on what the 1st guy did. You make the call from this information.

The problem itself is fixed which is great, but there were several issues with scheduling and miscommunication about both time and money. When the plumber was here at my house the first time, he looked at everything and told me that the job would take about an hour maybe a little more, and that the cost for one hour was $125. When I got home my husband told me that it cost $300 and they were here for over two hours. I wasn't budgeting for $300, I had budgeted for $150 maybe $200 max which is what they told me.. Also I have a new square cut into my dry wall now in the bathroom, just above where the access panel is. I am not sure why this new square was cut in the wall when there is a huge access panel already there. The disappointing thing is the misquoted amount, and the miscommunication with the scheduling that happened twice.

Finding sewage in the basement floor is just about the worst thing that can happen. Sam did a great job unclogging the line. Fast service, on a Sunday. Reasonably priced. Will definitely use them in the future and recommend them.

I've had them out twice so far this year. After the first visit, my toilet still leaks when you use a plunger and floods my basement. Just had them out to look at my shower. They didn't have all the parts they needed and managed to lose a screw to my handle. After he put it back together, now the shower constantly drips, which it didn't do before. I had to replace the handle and part he didn't have myself only to find out that wasn't the cause of the drip.. hoping they can fix it

New Year's eve, arrived home from work to find it raining cats and dogs in my garage. 2nd floor bathroom sink pipe was the issue. Amanda Plumbing came out in 20 minutes and quickly identified the problem and fixed it. Hayden connected us with a water mitigation company. He was most helpful and professional.

Arrived on time, finished when they said they would, competitive price and great work. Total for job was ~$6K. In addition, there was an initial weather delay the required a reschedule. Doug was very accomodating to my work schedule and the Christmas Holiday to get the job done.

I've used Amanda Plumbing for all my service needs from installing a garbage disposal, fixing a shower diverter and even had them install my tankless water heater. Only plumber on my speed dial. Always class A service.

Amanda Plumbing replaced all the sewer and water pipes under my house. It was a big job but they finished right on time. And they were just nice guys that you don’t mind having in your house. Definitely will use them again in the future.

Amanda's sent two unlicensed 'plumbers' to my home to do a few misc. fixes. One was to fix a toilet leak. The shut off valve was replaced. About a week later, water was leaking into my finished basement on a Sat. Emergency service (extra charges) were required. The guy came out and cut 6 holes in my ceiling looking for the leak. Put another hole in bathroom wall to make the repair. Cost over $600. They said it was due to poor workmanship when the house was built in 2007, but I'm not sure I believe that. Part they replaced was same one they fixed the first time. They charged me for that part even though their policy is not to do so. The guy even said he wouldn't charge me for the part. Insurance adjuster said it was $1,200 damage to ceiling and carpet. My insurance paid $700, but I cannot afford to get it fixed with that so it's still a mess after several months. I can't prove they caused the leak. I think they took advantage of me, a single older woman. Won't use them again and I won't have an unlicensed plumber in my home ever again. I almost turned them away at the door and wish I had. I could've pursued it, but have health issues and decided it would just cause me unnecessary stress so I'm just venting here.

Amanda plumbing was very curtious on the phone and were able to get someone out the next day. However, I was given a 12-4 window and the plumber showed up at 4:20. He was rude and had an attitiude right away as my knds were getting off the bus at the time of his arrival. Then he told me there was nothing wrong with my water heater and charged me $100 for a service call. Such a shame because the system needed to be replaced. But I was happy to give my business to another plumber in town. So dissapointed as they came hughly recommended!

Worst company that you can hire. The company is very unprofessional from the owner, receptionist, and to the plumbers themselves. The owner was so mad he told us to F off and find another plumber, talked over us when talking about the situation, because there was misunderstandings and the receptionist did not put enough time to fix the plumbing and the gas line, didn’t even write the whole service order when talked to her Thursday, even though when I talked to them that Thursday before they came out to do the plumbing underneath the sink and the dishwasher needs to be done plus a gas line to be moved, the receptionist said there should be enough time aloud for your appointment which it wasn’t! The owner said the call was recorded and said he was going to pay it back but by that time he already got so mad he was just screaming and said F off and find another plumber, so we never got to hear the recording then hung up on us. I have never been talked to that way. They charge too much. Just to move a gas line was $228. According to them that I did not know what they were coming here to do when I’m the one that made the call to set up the order. When I asked the two plumbers “you know what you’re here for don’t you?” just to see if they received the whole order and they reply “all I know we are replacing/move a gas line. So the order for the plumbing wasn’t told to them. They didn’t have any time for the plumbing that needed to be done and he would have to reschedule for next week. Please do not use this company that’s all I have to say very unprofessional and if I treated my customers that way I would not be in business very long. I wish I could’ve given them a -10.

After getting an estimate from Waterworks for $ 3600.00 to run a gas line from the meter to a fireplace I called Amanda who did the work for less than 1/3 of the Waterwork est.
Talk about robbery !!! Amanda sent Glenn out who gave me a fair estimate and explained everything that need to be done. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. Glenn and his assistand Hayden were extremly friendly, worked hard in difficult cold conditions, and did a great job. The office personel were great. Nothing but a good experience with Amanda. Called for an estimate on a French/trench drain system I need for my yard. When the gentleman called me back to learn a bit more about my needs I told him that I wanted the job done a particular way.

*Note, most companies will lay gravel down or a fabric sock over the drain pipe and then cover back with soil. However, I wanted non-woven geofabric separating the subsoil from the gravel. This ensures that pipe will not get clogged with mud and debris later down the road. it will allow the water to move freely through the gravel instead of the mud mixing with it, creating a thick rock/mud barrier around the drain pipe.

The guy wouldn’t even let me get into details. Once he heard “geofabric” he interjected “that’s not something I’m interested in” and ended the call.

I’m sure Amanda Plumbing is a fine company - but I was never given the chance to know for sure. If I’m going to spend thousands, you would think I would be afforded the opportunity to have a say in how I choose to have a drain installed...to an extent. I’m not an expert - but I understand the process and dynamics of a drain.

The representative arrived on time and was professional in his explanation of the process. However - he turned the gas pilot light off on the hot water heater as a part of the tests. Either his attempt to relight it was faulty, or he forgot to relight it, as I had no hot water and needed to light the pilot light.

This company is ranked 'Bad'. The Amanda plumber could not fix the problem however proceeded to charge me. An ethical company would not charge a customer for any repairs that cannot be fixed. Therefore, this company is unethically bad. I will not use them again and I will not recommend them to anyone.

I called Amanda for an estimate and sent my architectural plans in. I called three times before they sent Glen out for estimation. I never heard back with a quote. I wish they were upfront if they were not interested in the job-waste of my time.

Tore up my irrigation system including my invisible fence that were clearly marked.They left soil in the street and on my walkway. Dont ever use them. I regret ever contacting them. Then when i tried to talk to them it took them 4 weeks to respond to me only to tell me that they dont care. How is this place still in business.

Guy came in and immediately told me he couldn't fix my clogged sink unless I ripped out my granite countertops, charged me 110 bucks and left. Called another plumber for a second opinion, who fixed the sink in no time for a fraction of the price.

Couldn't unplug a simple plugged toilet and then he actually broke the toilet. But the owner of Amanda offered to install a new toilet that I had to buy at a discount....?!? Run, don't walk away from this contractor.

Very poor customer service. Was told by one of the owners workers that he doesn't care about customers and they were even on one of the news stations as ripping off people with plumbing repairs. Receptionist is rude and his employees don't think very highly of them. I ended up going with The Waterworks who always is pleasant and actually has employees who speak highly of the company they are working for

Horrible experience with Amanda plumbing. Showed up at the wrong location, and owner opened door to my house and yelled in (twice). Wife was in shower and I wasn't home. Owner never apologized and tried to justify opening of the door to my house. Will never use a company that won't take personal responsibility for their actions.

Needed a spigot replaced that was leaking into my basement. The pro came in and did the repair in a clean, professional and timely fashion. I would definitely recommend!

They were supposed to come between noon and 4
They came at about 400 them they tell me they can fix sewer but don't have time to fix the other things I requested they'd have to come back another day I think that's bad business your response isn't true I even texted it all i needed done to make appointment also first time they came I asked if they could do it they have me a price on sewer said they would tell me price for other stuff when the returned to fix sewer I do not like untruth

This company has horrible service. They offer no warranty for their work. They don't fix the problem at all and when you call them to tell them that the problem is still happening, all what they say is we don't know what the problem is and all what we can do is to come and check it again with a charge. The receptionist is rude and unprofessional.

Always dependable, affordable and real pros no matter what the issue. Pricing is fair and you trust these guys in your home. Hayden is a pro.
