Do NOT use KENCO!!! Ken sold out, even selling his name everything to a slum lord who knows nothing about the plumbing industry. Got rid of all of the good loyal honest employees including my husband who worked for 12 years for that jerk. 7 kids, 12 years of extreme dedication and not even a days notice. The new guy only kept the rude dishonest employees (See Reviews on William) who have no moral compass, Mark things up 80% and have no idea what plumbers even do. So new potential customers stay away and old loyal ones KEN VERNON SOLD OUT, NEW GUY KNOWS NOTHING. LUIS IS NO LONGER WORKING THERE!!!!

They went out of their way for me, and it was so appreciated. I will go back again.

I spent 2 hours trying to figure out a part manufacturer so I could locate a replacement. Gave up without figuring it out. Tried Kenco to see if they could help me. Pete had the manufacturer named and a replacement part ready to go in under 30 seconds. WOW. You guys have earned my respect and I will be back for all my plumbing needs.

Much appreciation to this place. They solved a problem that the other three places couldn't. Not only that--I didn't have to explain it here more than once. On top of that, the person helping me here took time to explain his ingenious methodology to a new employee. I will certainly come here first when the next problem arises, knowing their stock is superior to anywhere else and how well they mentor their staff.

I would recommend Kenco Plumbing to any one. I can go to their store show them a part they go to the back and always have the items that i need. Today i called at 1300 and told MR. Ken that i needed a plumber that my single handle for my tub broke into pieces while i was trying to take it out and i had the water shut off. Mr Ken said he would have some one over in a few hr's. Mr Luis showed up and got it out and a new one in. Great Job !!! in my books. I had called several other companies and they all told me it would be 24 hrs before they could come out.

Plumber made an error and cut a pipe for a good fixture, rendering it useless. When I called in to complain, I received rudeness and ridicule.

Great people and selection of parts.

Walked in with a puzzle of shower parts that the big box stores had referred me to Kenco. The clerk behind the counter was super knowledgeable, immediately ID'd that I had a Frankenstein, knew exactly what I needed to replace it, and HAD ALL THE PARTS IN STOCK! I would have saved myself 3hours of running around if I had just gone here first.

Very knowledgeable on all the plumbing needs. I had my jetted tub handle broke and could not find replacement parts in any hardware store locally as it is a very old model (built 30 years ago). Gentlemen at Kenco was super knowledgeable and was able to identify the part and guided me on where to find part and provided specific instructions. I would highly recommend them for all plumbing supply needs.

The phone like is endlessly busy, they never answer.

A leaking drain valve on our water heater was also frozen in place and unresponsive to my tools and effort. Talked to Bob at Kenco, who came out immediately and took care of the problem very quickly. Genuinely impressed with both the quick & friendly service and the quality work. Will definitely use again for any future problems.

Staff was not helpful at all. Not wearing masks or wearing them on their nose, yet have signs saying you have to.

Very rude staff, avoid this place!

I recently visited Kenco Plumbing. I found it to be a very comfortable, friendly place with extremely helpful employees. The showroom has a large selection of beautiful fixtures to chose from as well. I was impressed by the cleanliness and customer oriented atmosphere. I highly recommend Kenco for your next plumbing job or remodel.

I have been a patron of this business for many years. I always counted on them to have what I needed and they have met my expectations. Until today....
I called in to find their price on a Kohler toilet and talked with a rude and unhelpful salesperson.
He wanted to know how many places I had spoken with and who they were. I asked him if he was too busy to give me a price but no that wasn't it either. Finally I learned that they charge the straight Kohler list price.
I have seen rude staff here before but was amazed that it was almost a contest of wills to get a simple price.

Had the part I needed.

Prefect! Found the faucet valve I'd been looking for and hadn't been able to find at Home Depot nor at Lowe's. Great customer service too!

Always knowlegble people, prices are a little high, but getting the right part and an explanation of how to install part, it's we'll worth it...this from a non-plumber.

Best plumbing selection in town. Excellent customer service.

There is a gentleman that works behind the counter. He is the most unhelpful person. I would hope that his manager finds this review and requires his employees to wear name tags. I would love to have included his name. I hope he does find a job that better suits him. Today,Oct. 25, 2023, at 11:30 am, we visited Kenco. The salesman did not acknowledge our presence in the store even though all other customers had left. After touring the showroom, we asked the salesman for assistance to purchase three faucets. He refused to help us, but did tell us that a displayed kitchen sink faucet would cost us $280. We asked him if there was another, more moderately priced faucet. He then told us to go online to get information, order our faucets and then, come back to the store to pick them up. He spoke to us with rudeness and a condescending manner.

We went to another store where the employees were happy to help us. We spent several hundred dollars on three nice faucets.

They are very helpful and courteous. Will go back for all my plumbing needs.

I called for information on a part I needed and the person who answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them and recommend them to others.

I found the service professionals to be very competent, helpful and not at all condescending. They
are interested in solving problems and not making a fast dollar.

Done business here a couple years ago. They have a great selection and order whatever i need... At least try to look it up. Was looking for some strange items, they took the time to look for my strange request and fulfilled the other order they could supply! Great customer service!

I work for a plumbing heating and air company and Kenco always got what I need for all faucets, faucet valves, toilets, etc, etc. They are very knowable and know what they are doing, so instead off going to the bigger chains for your plumbing needs see them first if they don't have it they will order it

I got what I needed here at Kenco Plumbing, this was after visiting 3 other plumbing supply stores based on distance from the job site I was on. Super helpful and knowable staff.

Don't show up at 4:50pm. They will tell you they are closed. I drove a long way to get help but turned away.

Tub/shower valve replacement job was the worst customer experience I've ever had.

I took off work to meet the plumber at my house five times (once for $900+ quote, once for the original job, back due to forgotten joint without ***any*** solder, then back out twice more for leaks after that two separate days). The joint pictured below was still inside my wall, as well as a second completely separate leaky joint. I couldn't afford to keep taking off work for Joe to practice his plumbing, so I watched a few YouTube videos, dropped $120 at Lowe's, and did it myself. Bear in mind, all of this was only possible because I had cut my own hole in drywall to inspect the work; otherwise Joe's solder joints would still be leaking in my wall today, causing all kinds of more permanent and expensive damage!

Went to the Kenco owner, Ray, several months later with this story and the pictured sample of Joe's work in hand. Ray disavowed all responsibility to right the situation since I had taken the faulty joint out myself, and felt no need to refund a single penny.

So, if you are considering a Kenco plumbing service job, make sure you have 1) your own hole in the wall to inspect the joint after the plumber leaves, 2) a free schedule with no competing responsibilities, 3) the skills to do it yourself, and 4) the budget to mend their errors without any support from Kenco ownership/management.

Or, you know, you could use someone else. I know I will next time.

Wow! What a wonderful experience we just had. Our outdoor faucet was frozen. We stopped at two other plumbing supply places with no luck and rude customer service. We stopped at Kenco, Pete took the part in the back and fixed it while we waited. What a delightful gentleman and a delightful store!

No matter how obscure the part... they have it! Without fail. This place has reps that actually know about plumbing! What a concept!!! Super friendly. Reasonable prices.

They are slightly more expensive than some bulk hardware stores in town but they have always had exactly the part I need in stock. I highly recommend them to save time running around to ten different stores.

The hot water has been leaking in my shower for months and it recently got so bad that I had to start turning the hot water off from the water heater itself to make it stop running. The valve/cartridge that I needed to replace was not an easy part to find. I took it to Kenco and Pete took it apart and saw that the rubber seat had a gash in it, so he replaced the seat itself. I just put it back in the shower piping and turned on the hot water. NO MORE LEAK! Pete is my hero! Super friendly and knowledgeable! ❤

I've been a customer of Kenco for 13 years and really loved the service until my last visit. Be careful what you bring in to show them for replacing parts because I was told a replacement wouldn't work for an AC line and that an entire replacement of the line was necessary. Taking the advice costed a $100 visit in charges when the plumber came out and replaced the $3 part like I was planning to. When I addressed this with the Manager Joe he was unapologetic and insisting his advice was good even though it turned out incorrect. Now I'm replacing the whole system and not ever going back to Kenco, in addition to letting everyone I know about this. If only he had been a little nicer, but hey, he's the boss right?

This place has everything you need for the job, as long as you know what it is that you need. Prices are fair and the staff is very professional.

Great place. They help you out and actually try to work with you on whatever you need. Prices aren't too bad considering no where has the part you would need. I would recommend making Kenco your first stop and not your last.

Kenco has a beautiful showroom. The manager and employees are so knowledgeable and friendly. Great service!! They have everything you need for your plumbing/remodeling needs.

An amazing place. We went there and search of replacement valves for an old, semi antique, tub and faucet fixture for our bathroom. Nowhere else in town even had anything remotely close to what we need without having to cut a hole out of our wall and cut and solder brass and copper to install a new fixture into our existing tub. As soon as we walked in the door the gentleman was able to match our part up within 30 seconds of bringing it to him. They also had a full reconditioning kit for our vintage tub faucet and we were able to be helped and out of the store within 5 minutes. I will only be coming here futon now on. It's worth the drive from Corrales.
