Worst experience in my life! Claimed they replaced a sewer line; both Baltimore City and Rotor Rooter said not true. Refusing to honor so-called Lifetime Guarantee. I am the landlord, living out of the country and on disability fixed income. Paid them over $6000 cash! told my tenant to get a certified plumber to come out and send them the report. What dose that make you - oh, I know; some fake, crackpots taking advantage of a 65 year old woman. Problem still not fixed; paying out ADDITIONAL money for the same problem. And where is the receipt for my money? Not to worry. I serve a mighty God. NEVER USE MILLENNIUM FOR ANYTHING!!!!!

Millennium Plumbing came out at 2AM in the morning and they came out immediately and unclogged my main sewage line with a Snake. I highly recommend them!

Plumbing emergency struck on a cold night and my pipe to my kitchen burst. Called millennium, Len and AJ both said they couldn't come until Friday but millennium came out first thing Thursday morning. Ron arrived during the prescribed time (despite the snow) and quickly got to work diagnosing the problem. He found the burst pipe and offered two options for restoring water to the rest of the house. He was descriptive and helpful in determining the right path on how to proceed. He got water restored to the house in a jiffy and didn't make a mess. Will use millennium again.

Update: You get a $10 discount for giving a 5 star review while the tech is there and he gets to read your review before posting. Had another pipe burst a couple days later, called Millennium first. The first time I called they offered immediate service with a tech coming even as late as midnight. When I called back and said I had another emergency, the guy gave me a 4 day wait before he could have someone out there - knowing I would be expecting a discount or something bc the problem recurred. Terrible company. Ron is a good guy but the business practices are shady at best. Avoid.

HUGE RIP OFF! My basement recently got flooded and my hot water heater was submerged in 2 inches of water. I called Millennium Plumbing and Heating to inspect my hot water heater and tell me if it could be repaired or if it needed to be replaced. The plumber was extremely rude to me and insulted me when I asked him a plumbing question. His quote was over two times more expensive than the quote I got from other plumbing companies. I paid $39 for horrible customer service and an extremely overpriced quote. Do not use Millennium!!

They quoted me $530 to replace a kitchen faucet.

I had an excellent experience with Millennium, specifically a plumber named Shawn. He was professional, friendly, and worked quickly. The price was reasonable and fair. I would definitely recommend Millennium and would work with them again in the future.

I've used Millenium many times and they're always great! The technicians are on time, courteous, and do the job right. The only issue I've had was after several months had gone by the same issue came back. With one call they were out the next day to inspect the problem and after review determined it was under warranty from the last job and repaired the work immediately at no charge. Top notch...thank you!

I have used Millennium Plumbing twice. My first experience was an emergency and they had Keith dispatched to my house within an hour(He was also kind enought to return the next day to adjust the water temps in the new shower, as they were too low). My second experience, while not an emergency Keith again was out within an hour. My experience has always been a pleasant one and I believe their pricig to be fair. Keith is always very courteous and professional. I would recommend Millennium Plumbing to my friends and relatives

Woke up with NO Heat on Saturday morning; Ground Hog Day, 2/2/13; I called Millenium. After a short discussion I have a unique furnace and Millenium recommended me to a local competitor that specializes in my equipment! How often does that happen? I think it says something special, passing up business to make sure I get someone who specializes in my furnace from a competitor who is further away. I wouldn't hesitate to and I will call Millenium if I have future plumbing or other needs. They have started out with me in a very trusting way.

I previously had a bad experience with Millenium plumbing, but had to reach out to them because a check valve had started leaking that they had replaced. I was nervous that they wouldn't guarantee their warranty because of the difficult past experience I had with them. However,
I was happy to find out that they fixed the leak, cleaned everything up and honored their warranty. Ron made sure I was happy with everything before he left. This experience was MUCH better than my other one.

UPDATE - the same exact leak has occurred again for the third time. We were told (and in writing) that their product and services were under warranty for 5 years. I called to make another appointment with them to come over and fix it for once and for all. I scheduled an appointment later in the week. I got a call 15 minutes later from a call center in Connecticut saying that the owner/manager will not come to my house. I asked if she had any other information and she said no. I called the online number and was told the same thing. The owner/manager will not help. I am currently dealing with the BBB and will take them to small claims court if we can't settle.

The company seems to be okay if they can get the job done, but if anything goes wrong, then will leave you out to dry. It's not worth the risk dealing with this company that doesn't seem to understand how customer service, customer satisfaction and warranties work.

We had an emergency. Our water heater was leaking from the top. The plumber Shawn came out right away. He was very professional. He explained everything. I would really recommend him.

They got me in quickly and did the job efficiently. The estimate was below what I was expecting. Keith was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

WARNING: Millennium Plumbing called me and told me they wouldn't come out to fix the leaking laundry pump they installed unless I deleted this review. This calls into question the integrity of their Google rating, as I doubt this is the first time they did this, and likely they should be rated much lower. Since I obviously never deleted this review, they never came out to fix the shoddy work they did - I had to hire another plumber for that.

In addition, they just closed their office in Federal Hill, and I think they don't even have an office at all now (maybe they are operating out of somebody's house?). Likely they are experiencing financial difficulties, which might explain why they charged me more than double for my laundry pump ($950 vs a quote I got later from another plumber for $450).

Also, they are not MHIC licensed, which means that you can't make a claim against the MHIC insurance fund for shoddy work or fraud, but instead have to sue them directly. I wish I had thought to check this prior to hiring them.

As is fall of this wasn't bad enough, their leaking water pump caused a mold issue with some drywall in my house, which cost $500 to fix. So in the end I paid $1,450 and should have paid $450. This does not count the untold hours of aggravation dealing with these clowns.

If you are reading this review prior to hiring them, I strongly suggest you instead hire an MHIC licensed plumber (go the the MHIC website to check) who has an actual physical office and stands behind their work.

We had a double emergency at 11:30 PM on Sunday night. Both the hotwater heater broke and was leaking and also the house main shut off valve was leaking. Millennium was the only company to answer the phone and give us a reliable time frame to tend to this emergency. Sean our tech arrived in 11/2 hours and shut water off to our home and diagnosed the issue and gave an estimate. they returned the next late afternoon and did all repairs.

We are very happy with the work done by Millennium. We bought an ancient house in downtown Baltimore and discovered that the bathroom pipes were all in terrible shape.

Our plumber, Ricardo, came out and discussed our options with us and provided an estimate. We got competing bids from other companies, all higher.

Not sure exactly how we wanted to do the bathroom, we asked Ricardo to come back a couple of times to discuss other options, which he did, patiently explaining the pros and cons of different types of shower, tub, pipes, etc., and he provided revised estimates each time.

Ultimately he replaced all of the bathroom pipes and installed a new toilet, sink, bathtub and shower. The bathtub and shower were somewhat tricky, because we wanted to combine a claw-foot tub with a regular wall shower, instead of the usual type of shower specifically made for claw-foot tubs. Ricardo figured out a way to make it work.

He also collaborated very well with our contractor. The entire installation had to be done in pieces: first our contractor tore down the old bathroom. Then Ricardo roughed in the pipes. Then our contractor installed the floor and walls. Then Ricardo came back and installed the fixtures.

Ricardo was really flexible in terms of coordinating with our contractor. He's a very friendly, personable guy and easy to work with. Six months later, everything he installed is working flawlessly.

We are planning to add another bathroom and will use Millennium when the time comes.

Over priced and not very thorough. Based on pricing I quoted another plumber when the toilet reclogged. They showed me what was missed and found things this company should have caught. Very disappointed in the amount of money I spent only to have to call someone else in 2 days later.

Ricardo has always been terrific - polite, professional, and extremely competent. Not too crazy about their dispatcher, though, who is less than professional in his manner and who brought this down from five stars to four.

Let me preface this by saying, the PLUMBER did an amazing job. Speedy, fairly priced and even punctual. Had two sump pumps installed in my business.

Called about a genuine concern with a sump pump running hot and making a nasty smell in my business...and was spoken to like a nuisance... very rudely by the emergency operator. So rudely that in a 3 minute converstation I had to use the phrase ,Can you please stop talking to me like I'm a nuisance. To which he replied, Whatever, man....

I own a business and understand the difference between good and bad customer service over the phone and I had a genuine concern about a sump pump and the guy talk to me like I was a 3 year old. I don't care how good of a plumber they happen to have it is not worth the disrespect I received on the phone just calling about an issue I had.

NOW upon reading this, imagine how ignorantly you have to be talked to to have a PERFECTLY good plumbing job become a bad experience...

After dealing with Millennium Plumbing, who replaced our sewage ejector pump in our basement, I can easily say that I would never recommend their services to anyone. The technician, Ron, was not only rude, but he also refused to walk me through the work he did after I specifically asked. It was very alarming to me. When Ron left, the basement was very dirty. The floors were sticky and there were sewage particles on the cabinets, and sewage dripped onto the carpet. The website clearly stated that the technicians would clean up after themselves, which did not happen. My husband and I found ourselves cleaning up a huge mess after they left.

Two days later, we noticed a sewage smell in the basement, which had not been there previously. Initially, the technician refused to come out and claimed that any smell was not his concern or responsibility. He came out to inspect after many requests, but was a broken record saying that he was only responsible for the pump working, not for any associated smells. He couldn't comprehend the logic that his work and the smell were somehow connected.
All in all, a very frustrating and expensive experience, so I suggest you avoid the same fate as us and go elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Had another Baltimore plumber scheduled who ended up canceling 2 hours into my scheduled 3-hour window. We had a clogged sink drain and a broken disposal. Needed to get the problem fixed asap and called Millenium, and they were able to have a technician out within an hour at 8pm.

The technician was extremely helpful and informative, and made sure to fully explain the situation to me. He was knowledgeable, professional, and made an effort to make the situation as painless as possible.

I will definitely use Millenium in the future for any plumbing needs.

Service was great. I called on Sunday of Memorial weekend. Service tech was there next Morning (Memorial day). Explained what happened, priced the estimate, performed the work, kept the area clean and was timely. Was a great guy and extremely professional.

Just had my plumbing problem taken care of by Shawn. He was very quick to respond, very polite, and did a first rate job in very quick time.

The job itself was relatively complicated, and to make it worse, it was in a very restricted space, over-head. Shawn did an excellent job in very short order. The price was extremely reasonable, considering the work and that it was 5pm on a Sunday afternoon.

I just want to add that the two most advertised Same-day plumbers, L the P and M & Son, both responded to my request for service with ...sorry, but we can fit you in tomorrow! So much for 24/7 emergency service.

Thankfully Millennium was able to get to my home with 90 minutes and the problem was fixed shortly there after.

I can say one thing for certain, if I have any future plumbing needs then Millennium will be the first company I call.

Called for an estimate on repair needed for house I want to purchase. Sent someone the next day at time I needed. Keith was professional and honest about what was needed. I can now make my purchase with knowledge and will definitely have them do the work!

They went in, evaluated all the plumbing issues and had them all fixed within 24 hours. 10/10 would recommend.

I was having flooding issues in my basement. Contacted Millennium Plumbing & Heating due to their great online reviews with Google+. They located the source of the problem and fixed the issue... That is, for the time being. In the process of resolving the issue, they didn't do anything on time and had myriad excuses as to reasons. They also tore up my front yard, thinking that's where the pipe was but didn't use the scope to verify; it turns out the pipe wasn't going under my front yard but under the driveway. So they tore up the front yard for nothing and then tore up the driveway to fix the pipe. After fixing the pipe, they didn't cover it with gravel, as I've been told any company doing this type of work should know to do. At least prior to today I could say that they at least did the job well. Well, I don't know if the issue has turned up again due to their not using gravel to secure it but I'm starting to see similar issues in my basement that I saw prior to when I first contacted them.

I live in another city and am a landlord for a place in Federal Hill. My tenants had a party and somehow damaged both toilets beyond repair, although no damage was visible from the outside.

After several failed attempts to reach my regular plumber on Memorial Day weekend, Millenium plumbing came out on short notice to perform the services.

The plumber was able to identify that the toilets were broken because of recent activity and received an account from my tenants. He then immediately communicated it to me so I could act accordingly. Great to have a plumber you can trust.

I did not have a good experience at all. The price I was quoted was 2.5 times, but I ended up paying. Their pricing model is not clear. They used a price for project/menu model. The charge to install a garbage disposal with a 2 year warranty was $456. The plumber couldn't tell me what portion was parts, labor, etc. It was $293 to snake the drain. I will never call them again. I am sorry that I had to pay $39 to find out how overpriced they were!

Response to the owner's response. I was not simply asking you to replace my garbage disposal. I recognized that I needed to have the drain cleaned. I paid $375 for my garbage disposal to be replaced and my drain to be snaked. You were going to charge me 2.5x what the job ultimately cost me. I am not comparing apples to oranges. I am comparing apples to apples and your services were grossly over priced.

They are the best! They are always on time and help me with any issues that I have. I recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues

I called This Plumber for a backed-up laundry sink.  He charged me what I felt was a reasonable price for the job.  He and the other gentleman with him were very professional.  They came when they said they would, called me first, and cleaned up after themselves.  They took the time to explain to me what caused the backup and how they fixed it. I would definitely call them again.

I had an emergency plumbing issue. They were the third 24 hour company I called. They responded immediately, and came to my house within an hour. They were able to assess and start fixing the problem immediately. I wish I called them first. Len the Plumber claimed that they had someone to send to my house, but then called and said that they were too busy. Mike the Plumber just told me to pour Clorox down the drain and that they could come the next day. I am so happy that Millennium came when they did. Ron is so straight forward and honest which I appreciate and he has done great work so far. Thank you!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE JANUARY 2018.. PLUMBER CUT PERFECTLY GOOD PIPE ON PURPOSE TO CREATE MORE WORK AND THEREFORE MORE $. Plumber arrived to fix a pipe that had burst due to cold weather. When I showed him the problem, he also mentioned how the plumbing around the washer machine could use an upgrade, which was completely unrelated to the burst pipe. After he capped the burst pipe and when I left the room to turn the water to the house back on, he intentionally cut another pipe around the washer machine, so he would have to return to fix that issue and earn more business. After confronting him, he said he had to do it to fix the burst and it was evident he was lying. I have done several small plumbing jobs and am familiar with the process. He was fully aware I knew his antics. I also confirmed with the new plumber I hired that him cutting that pipe was completely unnecessary. Plumber was also rude. Dispatcher was nice over the phone. Needless to say I DO NOT recommend this company

Shawn came out to provide us a proposal today, we loved him. Explained everything, have complete trust that he will carry out the job in the best way possible. Highly recommend!! This guy is awesome!

They were able to come out quickly in hopes to repair a plumbing issue. However, the plumber was not knowledgeable and did not fix the issue, but still charged our credit card over $500.00. We tried to get a receipt for the non-repairs from the office and it took them four days to finally fax it to us.(we called each day to request it)They also said they mailed us a copy of the receipt and we never received it. The man who answers the phone was EXTREMELY rude and would not help us in anyway. He would respond that we could only talk to the plumber who came to our property. Poor POOR customer service. I am a property manager and manage over 35 properties and deal with contractors all day everyday. I understand things happen more than anyone, but this was was a nightmare. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I would highly recommend, Millennium Plumbing. I have a very busy schedule with a short window of opportunity to work with and they were flexible with scheduling around my time. They were prompt and very friendly. They were able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time and was very competitive in their pricing.

Called these guys after I thought I had a clogged sewer line and my technician Sean came out the next day on time (<24 hours from my call) to inspect it. Listened to my issue and did a visual inspection and gave me a good professional opinion and to monitor it instead of charging me for an unnecessary work up. Found my go to plumbing company!

Had a plugged kitchen sink over Labor Day weekend. Coudn't clearm it myself. I thought I found them on a site with higher ratings than I see here. They did show up on time. He had to see the basement and pipes first. Strange... He proceeded to snake it, and said he just moved the clog further down the pipe. He kept warning me that this could mean replacing pipes. Didn't like when I questioned this. 'We see these problems all the time' was his favorite line. He finally took me back to basement and showed me how he would reroute a pipe - 2 feet worth. It was $325 for the snaking. I didn't have a real problem with that on holiday weekend. But he wanted another $450 for the pipe work. I asked why, after snaking, he didn't try plunging it. He said they don't plunge. If I wanted to try that DIY stuff I should feel free. I said no thanks to the pipe work, and when he left I plunged it - it broke free immediately, and no problems since. We've used Millenium for our few plumbing issues, and the experience has always been positive. Their service people have always shown up during the aloted time slot, and will call ahead when they are on their way (which helps when you have big dogs that need to be put away!). Honest, won't charge you for stuff you don't need, and friendly. Have recommended to others in the area and will happily keep using them.

UPDATE: I was contacted by a representative of Millenium Plumbing after they read my review of their service. They looked into the details of the event and told me that they took appropriate action including firing the plumber who mishandled our service call. In addition they offered a full refund for the service call in a good faith effort to show their concern and pride for their work. Although I was disappointed with the original service I found them to be very responsive to my post and to hold true to their word. They care about their customer base and their reputation is important to them. I would consider using them again based on their follow up of the experience.

I contacted Millennium Plumbing after reading Google reviews to address a clean water leak at my rental property. I was told a pipe in the basement had to be replaced and if that did not work the whole sewage line would have to be redone. Three days later sewage water was backing up in the property. I called Millenium again and they immediately diagnosed the problem as a collapsed sewage pipe and the repair cost at $11,000. When I inquired how that was identified and if a camera had been used inside the pipe I was told they just knew. I asked for a written estimate with details of the work and received a hard to read hand written paper with a $11,000 bottom line. Went out for a second opinion with a different plumbing company and $697.00 later discovered a clogged pipe with products that had to be removed. This company used a camera to confirm that there was no problem in the sewage pipe and it did not need to be replaced. Millennium was ready to tear concrete and flooring in the house without properly investigating the problem. The second representative from Millennium arrived with his mind made up and all he could tell me is that It was a major problem. Yes, sewage water in a home is a major problem but your solution was unnecessary and would have made it even more major. They did not research and investigate the problem and costed me an additional $500.00 for work that may or may not have been needed to be done. I would not recommend them and regardless of who you call I suggest always get a second and third opinion! I have checked one star because the site does not allow me to make a post with none.

They came same day to do an estimate for a bathroom faucet replacement. Would not tell me over the phone to give me an estimate of the cost. They quoted me $750! I found a competitor to do it for $200 who completed the job in 40 minutes and the result was beautiful. I would not recommend Millennium Plumbing due to insane price gouging.

Came home around 1 am to hearing running water. I went downstairs and my entire basement was filled with water I called Millennium Plumbing they came right out and fixed the problem. they were straight to the point and efficient and they weren't costly at all.

Came out same day and charged only $39 for a quote. Very efficient and reasonably priced!

I had a valve burst and they were there same day. Made suggestion for additional work that may benefit me in the future--turns out that people were having the same issue with water pressure as I was. This will prevent further headaches down the road.

I called several big name plumbers and not one could make it out for this emergency. Millennium Plumbing was the only one that was reliable. They were there in less than two hours. Keith explained everything and was very professional in his work. I would highly recommend this company in a heartbeat.

I had to replace my kitchen plumbing. I called several plumbers and in the end chose Millennium. Of all the calls I made Millennium responded quickly. Ron checked and then explained the problem. Ron then gave me an Itemized estimate showing exactly what would be done and what the cost would be. The plumber John arrived when expected completing the job in a clean and professional manner. I would recommend Millennium to family and friends. The plumbing works great.

David took his time and patiently explained what needed to be done to replace the main water valve, fix a leaky pipe, and replace shower fixtures. He was on time to do the needed repairs and we are very happy with everything he fixed. I would highly recommend Millennium Plumbing!

I woke up on a Sunday morning to a blocked main sewage line which backed up into my downstairs toilet flooding it and pouring into my basement. After calling a competitor who did not answer, I called millennium at 7am and we greeted by a friendly voice who promised to have someone out in a few hours. Shawn arrived right on time, was very courteous and clean. Talked me through what the problem probably was and promptly diagnosed it. He was able to clear the line on the spot and although the price was high, considering the emergency call and the quality of the service I was happy to pay it. Shawn talked me through all the steps he was taking and was happy to teach me about the plumbing system in my home. He also gave me advice on how to keep the line clean in the future. I would recommend Shawn and millennium to anyone in this area for their emergency plumbing needs.
