Fast service.. reasonably priced

A few months ago our lights kept flickering for reasons we couldn't determine. Luckily we got Murphy Electrical Contracting to have a look; they found and fixed a potentially hazardous situation in our breaker box. The team are everything good trade professionals should be: experienced, trustworthy, friendly, and fair. I would recommend them to anyone!

The team at Halo did a wonderful job installing Nest thermostats in my home, as well as rewiring and hiding some of my electrical and HDMI cables and mounting my televisions. Looking forward to using them again soon!

Timely response to my request. On time for when scheduled. Great phone customer service. Price was great for the services performed. When the work was done, they observed something needed (a cover plate) and took care of it. Checked up later to make sure everything done was in good order. Highly recommend this company. An unexpected garage ceiling collapse caused me to act upon repairing a sagging ceiling and light fixture over the breakfast table. I also wanted to update the old canned lights in the kitchen and to add more lights in the breakfast room ceiling.

Chris was able to advise me on the number of lights needed, the best color value, and the correct placement to avoid creating shadow areas. He listened to me explain our actual usage of the lights, which are left on all day and which ones are night lights and task lights.

The result is a well lit kitchen that is more modern and workable. He and his team were fast, efficient and cleaned-up after themselves. He communicated well and kept to the agreed upon schedule. I appreciate his knowledge, advice and skill.

Horton Electrical Service were fantastic. They spent quite a bit of time locating hidden breaker box to do what otherwise would have been a 5 or 10 minute job. I didn't get charged any extra. And once this was done they even helped me change an odd light bulb that I couldn't figure out how to unscrew.

I wanted a quote to replace 3 existing light fixtures but TopTech refused to provide any pricing information over the phone. I understand they can't know until they see a job what it requires, but there are other businesses that will give a ballpark figure. That said, I have no doubt they would do a professional job, but the estimate was almost double what anyone else has quoted me, so I paid the $55 service call fee (also higher than many) and sent them on their way.

My trouble spawned from a GFCI that wouldn't reset. And although the tech was not able to find the underlying cause of the problem he was able to assess and identify 2 additional issues that we were not aware of. The tech addressed issue once it was found. I am grateful for Nelson and his techs professionalism and care to make sure they perform quality work.

Owner Marshall has a great crew onboard: I want to thank Dale, Mike, David, Patrick and roughly 6 other workers that I never go to talk to or didn't introduce myself to. Pedro with Harter Electric repaired an issue with a circuit breaker. He was wonderfully nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and answer all my questions. He even went the extra mile and inspected all connections in the circuit breaker and made sure everything was tight and safe before he left. Fantastic customer service.

Turner Electric is always my go-to for electrical work. They are knowledgeable and professional, and they have a great vision for lighting design in any part of your home, inside or outside. My home feels more inviting at night with the exterior lighting, and is more energy efficient with the updates inside as well.
