Quick, knowledgeable and friendly service. After calling a popular larger plumbing service and was still having issues, I decided to get a second opinion. And I was so happy I did. Shane came up with a more practical and cost effective fix. I only wish I called Brown plumbing first!

I worked for Daniel for a time during 2017. As an employee he is a fantastic boss and does his best to treat his workers like people while acknowledging that the plumbing industry (especially residential plumbing) is often a dynamic situation where you are on call, or a normal day could turn into a very long or difficult one without any notice. Daniel is approachable, friendly, competent and tries to do what's best by his customers and workers. I moved here from out of state and even when calling long distance for a job he was happy to talk to me whether I was going to work for him or not. If you want a plumbing company to show up at your house that cares about doing it right, and treating you with respect (personally and professionally) then look no further.

I called with a faucet issue and instead of getting my number and telling he would call later, he helped diagnose the problem over the phone and I was able to fix it. Dan Brown is definitely an honest guy and I will for sure be using him in the future.

Daniel Brown Plumbing is amazing! They had such a quick turnaround when making the appointment and came right on time. They fixed our sewer clog which had tree roots in it within minutes after another big named company quoted us 5000 dollars to dig up our yard. They were professional and very efficient. We definitely will use them for all our future plumbing needs! Highly recommend!

I've used Daniel Brown Plumbing around 3 times now. Without a doubt the most professional, on time, and polite plumbing business I've worked with. Each time they've come out the issue has been fixed and stays fixed. They're knowledgeable and make sure that I can see the issue is resolved and tested before leaving. The price for what they charge is fair for the work they provide. They are going to be my go to plumber as long as they are open.

I called Daniel Brown plumbing this morning for a clogged kitchen sink. A service tech was here within an hour and a half. His name was Jon Raney. He was incredibly friendly, very professional and got the job done in just under an hour. We are so pleased with his work. Very affordable rates. A job well done. We will use them again!

I'm only afraid to give him 5 stars because I don't want too many people to find him.

Needed the igniter button replaced on our water heater, the company we normally use swore up and down it couldn't be replaced and that we would need a whole new pilot unit. Called Daniel this morning, said he could have someone out within an hour or so. Taylor showed up, took it apart said he would have to go by the shop to get a button since he didn't have it on his truck. Back a few minutes later, put on the part, I paid him and he was on his way. Won't be using our other outfit anymore. Very happy!

Unfortunately, I have the burdens of a very old home and have had numerous plumbing issues over the years. DBP has been a lifesaver each and every time. They are reliable and consummate professionals with reasonable service rates.

Dan is awesome. He helped me fix my plumbing issues by explaining how to correct the problem over the phone. He told me exactly what parts were needed. He is a very honest guy who genuinely wants to help. Definitely recommend him and will call again if I have any further plumbing needs.

Terrible customer service. Excuses after excuses. Came to replace a water heater. Literally took them 8hrs. Then they installed it incorrectly when I was told they were professionals what a laugh. I will not be using these 2 bit wanna be plumbers again

This is the 3rd time I have used Daniel Brown plumbing in the last 1.5 months, water heater install and toilet repair, every time the plumbers have been very polite and knowledgeable of my situation, I have even spoken to Daniel a couple of times, he is always available, there work is excellent and the cost has always been more than fair, have found a lifetime plumber that goes above and beyond, can’t recommend him high enough

The absolute worst service we have ever received! They were initially called to install a shower in the bathroom my parents were renovating. After charging a pretty hefty amount the installation resulted in a leak. We called them to come and fix it and what they did was open a hole in our walls. Fixing nothing! They never fixed it and tried to pass on the blame. They should be absolutely ashamed of the behavior they have exhibited. If you’re looking for a plumber in the Louisville metro area THESE ARE NOT THE ONES TO CALL! You might as well try to fix it yourself, the quality will probably be better.

I called Daniel about a tub that needed to be replaced because the paint on the exterior had been eaten away by drano. He immediately advised on how to fix the issue, rather than trying to sell me services that I don't need. That, to me, gives him an A+ in my book. Too often you hear of people being taken advantage of. I recommend giving Daniel a call! Great service!

Had new countertops installed and they came to disconnect, reconnect, and add a garbage disposal. They were quick to get back to me, on time, and very professional. Luis is THE BEST! He went above and beyond to make sure everything worked properly. Very happy with their services. Will definitely use again in the future!

Same day service, inexpensive, very helpful. They pointed out several things that would go wrong in the future without demanding that it needed to be fixed now or that they had to be the ones to fix the problems.

They also gave sound advice so that my girlfriend and I could work on some plumbing issues ourselves. I am very satisfied with these guys and will likely use them for future services.

Daniel Brown Plumbing is top notch! I called on Wednesday and they got me on the schedule for the next day at noon. I got a call Thursday morning that they could come early and they did. Shane showed up with a great personality and was beyond helpful. He took care of getting my water heaters back up and running, showed me how to handle things myself the next time, and assured me he'd back ASAP if we needed him again. Their pricing is fair and the payment system was so easy. It allowed for a tip and I hope that it goes to the service tech, Shane, because he deserves to know how great he is at his job!

My technician was Lewis. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I called first thing in the morning for an emergency situation. Spoke directly with the owner. He was kind and informative. He even suggested I get on multiple wait lists, to be safe, since it was an emergency situation. After calling multiple companies, they were still the first to show (within an hour). They are informative and transparent with their pricing and process. Would definitely call them again in the future.

Water heater went out on Monday, I called on Wednesday, had a brand new one installed by Friday. The two guys that came to our house were friendly and super courteous, going out of their way to minimize any mess coming in and out of the door on a rainy day. You also won’t find fairer pricing in Louisville. I have and will recommend them to friends and family. They’re now my first call any time I have a plumbing need.

Taylor is awesome! He worked overtime and through the weekend to insure we had gas service in our home! We really appreciated that dedication and service we recieved. Great guys! Especially Rick! My landlord sent them out to do work and they have been nothing but professional and respectful. They are also very efficient and thorough. We've had a few different companies come out recently for different things and have had nothing but headaches from them, so they have been a nice breath of fresh air in the midst of all the problems! Called them early on a Monday morning to clear a kitchen sink that I couldn't clear myself. They were able to come out within about an hour and a half and had the job finished in about an hour. Super professional. Would definitely use them again!

I used Daniel Brown Plumbing for the first time. First, I want to say I will definitely use them again. The owner talked with me when I was inquiring about an estimate. Gave me some advice and shared his knowledge to help with plumbing issues in the future. He sent Shane out for the estimate, then Shane came out to do the work. He did a great job. Everything looks wonderful and even better, all the plumbing issues with my first three projects are working better than ever. The Owner, Office Assistant and Shane, the Technician that came out, were all very helpful, nice to work with, very informative and polite. It's nice to have someone that knows what they are doing and cares about the quality of work they do for you. I Highly Recommend them and we will be calling them again with our next projects.

What impressed me first is that Daniel answered the phone himself! He knew I was very concerned about my plumbing needs and he shared with me in my concern. He listened to me instead of trying to just make a buck, but really wanted to help me and fix my problem right. They did an A1 job, and garenteed their work. Long story short, Tom Drexler plumbing came to snake my kitchen sink. After about three hours of on and off snaking/sitting in truck to write quotes...he concluded that I needed 25+feet of pipe replaced and quoted me 1900 (after numerous discounts, because he should've charged me 3400). It's Christmas time and I just couldn't afford that. Called another guy, who didn't even bother trying to snake and quoted me at least 1100. Finally found Daniel's number and he had me on the phone for twenty minutes trying to help me fix problem. Came out on a Saturday and 125 dollars later my sink is fixed and a lifelong customer has been made! It was like having a family member just doing me a favor. He was warm, knowledgeable and confident. So thankful for his quality service this Holiday season!

Just moved in to our new rental, they went above and beyond to make us happy and even cleaned up the basement. Highly recommend!

Shane was very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing. He showed me the old parts and how they were supposed to work and the difference in the new parts. I even asked him to look at something not on the original work order and he had it knocked out in no time. Very honest hard working company.

These guys fixed a major sewer line issue for me at a very reasonable price. They were transparent, knowledgeable and very confident with their work. Throughout the entire process, they were patient and honest with me. I cannot recommend these guys enough. 6 out of 5 stars. They are better plumbers than the Mario Brothers.

Called to schedule someone to come to my house and was informed they could often walk through my problem over the phone. Daniel came on the line and helped me fix my problem in less than 10 minutes. They could have easily sent someone and charged me but instead were honest and quickly solved my problem. Will definitely return for any future problems!

I discovered that I had sewage backing up through my basement drain this morning. Had read a review about Daniel Brown Plumbing and decided to call them. They were able to get out to my house almost immediately. Donald, their technician, was very friendly and extremely conscientious about keeping my floors and the area around his workspace clean. Donald was able to get my mainline unclogged quickly and did so without any major mess to clean up which is almost impossible to do when running the drain snake. I highly recommend Daniel Brown Plumbing and will definitely use them again for any plumbing related issues that I cannot handle myself.

They came to my house after Tom drexler failed to unclog my tub drain on two occasions and told me I need to repipe my whole system for $4500. I forget his name but the man from brown plumbing quickly got the drain fixed. And said there was no need to repipe anything. Brown plumbing will be my first call from now on and will recommend to others.

Terrible job (bathroom is still leaking after I paid them). Poor quality work. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

Amazing company. I thought I had a serious problem. Instead is was much more minor. Reasonable pricing and even explained what they were doing and why it happened. They also have basically anything you could need to fix a bathroom on their truck. Other companies in the past have said they have to go back to he warehouse for stuff and charge you for that time. Highly, highly recommended!

So, I’ve never technically used Daniel Brown plumbing, but I’m giving him 5 stars on character alone. I saw a recvomendation for him on a neighborhood site, so I called him when we had a clogged toilet. Instead of making an easy $100 by coming out for a 5 minute job, he talked me through exactly what I needed to do to fix it on my own. I am blown away by his kindness and I will definitely be calling for future jobs!

2020 update: I made my first review 2 years ago. I still use this company and have called them on several occasions. They are really nice. The receptionist even walked me through picking out my new kitchen faucet and offered to pick it up for me. Today I had a water line repaired and the price is always reasonable!

2018: Awaiting out of town guest, I called Daniel Brown Plumbing late in the day in attempts to correct another company's faulty work. They not only came out the same day and saved it!!! They were much less expensive. I highly recommend.
