Shane was great! He didn't waste time and made sure the job was done right.

They dropped the ball even though he said they never would I've got a story if you call me .

I would highly recommend Shoda as we have trusted them for decades. Today Kam did an exceptional job diagnosing and fixing our sewer issue. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and methodical in his approach. I appreciate him taking the time to answer our questions and inform us what he found.

So we awoke this morning to our tub, sink, and toilet not working. All three would not drain, and come to find out there was a block in our main sewage pipe. I called a few plumbers, and ended up being referred to Shoda Sewer Service. I would just like to say how very impressed we were with their service. The serviceman that came was very helpful, and ended up cleaning out a couple of pipes for us for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them if you are in need of plumbing work.

Drains were plugged and i requested they go down the washer drain and he decided to go down the sink drain and busted my pipe off that goes into the wall and had to cut a hole in my wall an now my insulation is exposed. And my bill went from 180.00 to 385.00 he did a good job but very upset my pipe was broken and costed me more than i expected.

Shoda Sewer Service is great! Super professional and have helped me out twice now. 4 years ago I was on vacation in Florida when the sewer backed up into the back yard of one of my rentals. They took care of the whole thing quickly over the phone! Today they replaced a failing sump pump within a few hours of calling them (stuck in my house with a broken leg). Both times a big relief. Will call again.

We had been waiting for 3 weeks for another sewer service to come fix our sewer. We needed a clean out put in and then re-augured. Shoda from call to end of service was all of 6 days (there was a weekend in there). They came out scoped, assessed the problem, gave us a quote (that was true to end cost, and set up a time to fix everything. The guys were very professional and courteous.

In January the sewer backed up in the house we had just purchased a couple months beforehand, and the day before we were supposed to go on vacation. I called several companies and no one could make it out except Shoda. DJ was quick, efficient, and continued working even when the sky opened up into a downpour. We are immensely grateful he came to the rescue and very happy with the work. He also made recommendations for preventing it from happening again.

Great service! I had an underground drainage pipe that was clogged with roots causing my sump pump to run constantly. Not only did they assess the problem quickly but they checked the rest of my lines to make sure they were clear.

And when they finished the job sooner than expected they reduced the quoted amount.
I'd recommend them to anyone.

one of the easiest 5 star reviews ive ever given. quick to respond, very professional, and competitively priced, communicated every step of the way any issues or problems. started out with one of their bigger competitors who did not inspire a lot of confidence but when i talked to shoda it was a night and day difference. would reccommend to a friend. family, or anyone else with a plumbing issue.

Shoda showed up! Specifically, DJ showed up. The sewer line was backing up in my basement this morning. I called the company that installed an exterior cleanout six months ago, but they’re booked out until next week. They gave me a recommendation for another sewer service, but that outfit said the same and kindly gave me another name. This scenario played out until nearly being the reverse of “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon”. Thankfully, I was eventually directed to Shoda. DJ arrived within an hour or two of my initial call. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I’ll definitely keep them on my speed dial…just in case.

They manage expectations carefully and they deliver what they promise. Have used them twice now and I've been very pleased both times.

Had a sewer backup which I figured to be the main line. After doing some research and calling a couple of other places, I called Shoda about 9:30 in the morning. Maury showed up about 10;30 - sooned than the estimated time. he knew exactly what to do and unfortunately the idiot plumbing contractor who did the work on our house years ago was too lazy to get an extension for the cleanout so it would be visible above grade, as it was literally buried about 9 under ground. Maury got the video camera out and had to locate the line from going through the vent on the roof. Once located and a few shovelfuls of dirt later, he proceeded to do the cleanout of the main line. He was friendly, knew his stuff and was quick. Since we had been through this before at another house years ago, we came up with a game plan for preventative maintenance. Will be calling them next Jan or Feb to do the cleanout again and get a baseline for how often it will need to be done. The only negative was he should have worn those protective booties before coming into the house. My fault as well, as I should have mentioned it. Based on this one time, I would have to recommend them and will.

Can't say enough good things about Shoda! I've owned my house only 4 months and suddenly when sump pump pumped out laundry water there was water coming up into the bathtub..not good. My Homeowner's Warranty plumber tells me I most likely have roots, etc blocking the sewer line and they recommended Shoda. Shane was out the next day, right on time, to diagnosis and yep that was it! Crew arrived the next morning to install a clean-out access (which I didn't have) and then the rout-it-out guy ... but it needed more and had to get water-jet guy to come out. By this time it's nearly 3:00 on a Friday and I'm getting nervous, but Chris arrives, and after couple 3,500 psi flushings my pipes are, per Chris, flowing like the mighty Mississippi ! YEA!!!

Shoda' s prompt, professional and thorough service was exceptional! My guess is the sewers at my house had never been maintained ... but they sure will be now! Thank you Shoda!

Cleaned main sewer line out. Backed up again 3 days later. They didn’t try the other 2 clean outs I had. Broke the top of my cleanout. They were going to charge the full $180 to come back out again.

Korte came out and found more roots in the line and cleaned and used camera for half the price of Shoda.

Chris came out and preformed a sewer clean out. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. Shoda has great prices.

Very pleased! DJ knew what he was doing, patient with my questions and was done in a timely manner.

We were in need of help with our sewer and clogged bathroom sink. We called Shoda, they were friendly and came out the next day! They quickly solved the problem, and asked us how we wanted to proceed. They were very reasonable and honest.

Initially called and spoke with Chris, he was able to get me set up for an appointment next day, but had some trouble showing up on time and possibly needed to reschedule. No worries, things get busy I get it... but a little bit later I got a call from DJ and he was on his way to my place to help us out, which was awesome. He did a great job, and explained everything done to clear up our clogged drain.

Kam came out to fix a clog found and fixed the problem super fast with great info on what I need to do to maintain a clean drain.

Not sure of their work quality but I had few quotes done for my job to do 10 downspouts with some 500ft line and these guys were honestly 3 to 4 times more than any other drain place in town. Other quote was $2600 ans these guys wanted $9500 for the same job. When I asked for explanation on ridiculously high guote they said they do it all by hand so its more time spent lol why would I pay 7 thousand dollars more because you dont have proper equipment. I have sent them other quotes to compare and was told to use them then. LoL. Looks like they judge jobs by looking at ur house and how much money u have. Sad but true. There is no explanation for a job this small to be some 7 or 8k more than other quotes.

Poor service. Had to call back several times to get drain open. Dennis, the owner, left client an aggressive and threatening message regarding an unpaid bill. When confronted about unethical behavior called client a liar and expressed discontent when fired by client. This man is a hot head and doesn't value his customers. In the past client always paid their bills in a timely manner. There was never contractual terms be them.

These guys are great,,,,ty so much I live neighborhood lots of trees and this service was prompt, and get the job done well...I would recommend them to anyone gladly ty :) The guy who came out was very nice professional and informative

They did the job and were timely in their response and scheduling, however for the price I paid the service wasn’t the best.
Since I don’t have an exterior access to my main pipe they had to go through my toilet. Fine, no problem but I have carpeting on the floors to get to the first floor toilet. I had to provide the tarps and floor covers so their equipment wouldn’t damage the floors coming in and going out. While he “tried to clean up as much as he could” there was still a huge mess left in the bathroom that I am now having to likely spend the rest of the day scrubbing. Had they asked for something to help clean it up I would have gladly provided that, but they didn’t even ask.

If you have exterior access to pipes I’m sure they’re great, but for interior id recommend going with someone more professional to do a more thorough job, including the clean up and supplying of protective surfaces.
