We've used a few plumbers in the St. Pete area, but Plumbing by Paul's was easily my favorite experience. Their tech, J.R., came out and was super respectful of how clean we like to keep our house. He went out of his way to go get the foot covers for his shoes and made sure the house was just as clean as he left it. Not to mention he was extremely respectful of our new born we just put to sleep so he worked quickly, efficiently and quietly. All while following COVID protocols to a T. Payment was super easy as well - they gave us plenty options for payment. Missy and Dana that I spoke to on the phone were also super friendly and helpful. Overall, just a great experience.

Plumbing by Paul is fast, reliable and experienced. I had multiple clogs in the span of 6 months. I finally had Paul and team out to video the sewer pipe and clean it. In the process, it was noticed the sewer pipe was cracked and had a sag in a section, so sewage was settling in the pipe. It was determined we needed to place the sewer line from the house to the city service. I worked with Paul and team to run through the process, getting scheduled and ensuring a timely fix. They came on site, were extremely professional and did the work efficiently and were done pretty fast. Now, no more clogs! I recommend Plumbing by Paul to everyone!

I stopped Paul in our complex to see if he would check out my garbage disposal. He was most courteous and willing to work in the job after the finished the one he was on. I had already called several plumbers and their quotes were outlandish. A paper clip had fallen down in the disposal and was caught which tripped the off mode. In less than 20 minutes the problem was corrected, explaining what he was doing. He's an honest guy and very pleasant. You can't go wrong.

I had a great experience with Plumbing By Paul.

I had a gate valve that was oozing a little water, so I called these guys because they could be here this week and had 4.8 Google review avg.

They examined the situation and tightened the nut on the gate valve. The oozing stopped.

They also gave me a long term solution of replacing the gate valve in the event the valve leaked again.

Very professional.

I will definitely call them for future plumbing needs.

Not sure how in the world this company got this many good reviews ..unfortunately our experience was quite the opposite. Sounded good from the start ,the Person we talked to was very polite and professional on the phone as well as the lady I spoke with a few times. When the technician came out to install and remove and dispose the dishwasher which was supposed to be included in the price he hardly did either of the above. I was not able to be there for my grandmother was passing away all during this time so I had my brother at the house who is just sitting there basically for somebody to be there.. he did not know they were supposed to take the old dishwasher with them, but was there expecting the tech to do his job properly. But besides not removing and disposing the old dishwasher out of the middle of our kitchen, he didn’t even have the dishwasher all the way in place no brackets were mounted and the bottom kick plate was not attached it was sticking partially out way out not even lined up with the counter. When I got home I was able to maneuver and push it all the way back in the hole but it was unlevel and the legs needed to be adjusted as well as mouthed and the kick on. From there it sat for a couple days as I called and tried to get somebody over to the house. I had to be the one to call them back majority of the time over a couple day span. Then the day they told me they had me on the schedule, no show, so we called them they did not answer my phone number so we called them from a different phone number and they lied and told us that we had sent them an email saying we told them we fixed it ourselves.That was a complete lie;We had Waiting at the house literally all day not able to leave or go anywhere else waiting for them to show up. So for some reason they sent the same technician who literally argued with my mom the entire time he was there telling her that he had mounted the brackets in place and why did we remove them!?literally arguing back and forth when she told him he never attached the brackets they were still in the bag.. the dishwasher was literally just sitting in the hole not even push back all the way, Sticking out far past our cabinets so there’s no way it would’ve been able to even possibly have been mounted in the first place and I would not go out of my way to remove everything like that..not to mention, I am five months pregnant. He literally argued with my mom out the door..Not sure where he got his memories of installing our dishwasher from but they definitely weren’t the truth I don’t know if he just completely left the job and thought he was done but it was the worst work I’ve ever seen not to mention our microwave didn’t work after he hooked up the dishwasher for sometime I’m not sure what happened but then it started working again hopefully no electrical problems appear in the future. Worst experience ever!!

I found this company through a St. Petersburg Facebook group. Let me start out by saying that my thanks are immeasurable! This is my very first plumbing issue and I live in a very old condo. Geronimo and Adam we’re out within hours of my phone call and the problem fixed in under an hour. Don't bother calling them. Had them come out to give an estimate for a walk in shower. My neighbor also had them look at hers. He took pics of both houses. Took all the info. And said we’d both be getting estimates by the following Monday. That was about 3 weeks ago. Neither one of us ever heard from them. Neither of theses were small jobs. Very unprofessional. Would never call them for anything

I just had a 5-star experience with Plumbing by Paul. Yesterday was Superbowl Sunday and our disposal was leaking water . . . little did I know that it was corroded beyond repair. I called Plumbing by Paul never expecting that within just a few hours the problem would be assessed, a new disposal would be in place, and my Superbowl chili clean-up could proceed as planned. Their technician was Kevin. He was polite, respectful and very professional. I felt that the price was very reasonable, and he left everything perfectly clean. I tried to get a quote for installation of a water softener over a week ago and have never heard back. They sent someone out for a free estimate and haven’t heard back since. I called the office and was told it would be emailed that day but still nothing. I called 2-3 days later and was told it was in review and would be emailed out but they never had my email. This should have been an easy estimate and relatively easy job since it was going right where the other water softener was and there’s easy access to mainline in/out. Very disappointed and wouldn’t waste my time trying to use their services.

Top knoch service.these guys figured out my problem within 10 min...after i had 3 plumbers out that charged me a fortune and didnt solve my problem..The condo below me was getting water in ther ceiling.3 different plumbers blamed it on 3 different things in my condo..Hundreds of dollars later the problem still wasnt solved.finally i contacted plumbing by paul.they were there that afternoon and within 10 minutes found that the leak was coming from a drain in the the unit above me..they were courteous,informative and kept the work space clean..my only regret is not calling plumbing by paul first..i would have saved a fortune and saved myself from a stressfull situation..5 stars

Water was noticed on the floor at my moms house . Located where it was coming from but could not locate exactly. Contacted Pauls and someone was out ASAP- Recommended a leak detecor who arrived a fews later from another job he finished and called Pauls to return. Geronamo and Steve arrived and got to work. Probably took all of 45 minutes and cleaned up so well you didnt know they were there. Water was restored. Amazing how fast the job got done. THANK YOU!

I was in a spot! I had a broken outdoor water faucet. I had to turn off my water which made my Wife very unhappy! I literally called 10 other plumbers that said they have emergency calls, but in reality THEY DON'T! The best they could do was 1-2 days. A friend of mine who is in the construction biz told me to call Paul's. I called Paul's at 5 pm and they were here by 6 pm. They are also local and I spoke to a person on the phone in St Pete, not another state. The tech was in/out in an hour. Prices are very reasonable and fair, (they charged me standard rates, not after hours). I would give Paul's 5 stars ++++. I will say this, Paul's is now my plumber and I will recommend them to everyone. I am not easily impressed but they did it!

Plumbing by Paul did a complete renovation project for me in St Petersburg - spring 2022. My husband and I bought an old house in town in 2014 and it was finally time to give it an overhaul.

I booked the estimate with Missy in the office . Johan came out to look at our job and provide the estimate. He also was on site to complete all of the work.

We gutted our bathroom and moved the toilet and shower. We also added a half bath and gutted the kitchen too. Johan installed all of the new plumbing including two toilets, two vanities, a shower, kitchen sink, gas stove, ice maker for our refrigerator, dishwasher and helped in getting our hot water heater up to code. He also changed out the old water spigots we had outside.

All in all we had a great experience with Plumbing by Paul. I will certainly use them again and would not hesitate to refer them. Their pricing is also fair and reasonable and the office is organized!

During a time where many trades are overwhelmed, overpricing and overscheduling themselves it was a joy to work with Missy in the office and Johan in the field to get our project completed. Love these guys and gals> must include the appointment setter. I called at just the right time since a slot opened up and they were at my door within 30 minutes. PTL! I gave them an out when the previous appointment wanted their time back but they were here and they were going to finish what they had started. I had a kitchen cupboard from the fifties, which is not easily accessible, but the pair made a pretty good impression of Gumby and replaced my leaking faucet. Thank you for my gift too! I am elderly and disabled. I had such a mess - the toilets wouldn’t flush, the shower backed up, and everything was leaking. I'm so glad I called Paul, not only is he reliable, but hes honest, if you need a plumber hes the one to call, Missy answered all my questions and never got tired of me calling.. John and Ricky were the guys who repiped my house and I couldnt have asked for better workers!! They found an existing problem and notified me right away instead of ignoring the issue!! We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink. When I asked around for plumber recommendations, Plumbing by Paul came up several times, more than any other company as someone to check out, so we did. Trey and Matt came over the same day I called to book the apt. The woman I booked it with was very friendly and accommodating as well. Wonderful customer service! They had it fixed within one hour! They were both very friendly, professional and knowledgeable as well. They had a present ready for us before they even came into our home (a roll of toilet paper and some hand sanitizer)! I love that! Whomever came up with that TP present idea is a genius and a keeper! The rate was reasonable for the work done. They had to get up on our roof and clear out the vent pipe, so our total was $329, which is a fair price. Now our kitchen sink is back to normal and we could not be happier about that! We used Plumbing by Paul's services a couple times last year and they were great. We scheduled them to re-plumb our entire house at the end of Dec. 2020. Not only did they not show up but when we called to find out where they were they said Yes we were on the schedule but the plumber we requested was on vacation all week.
We rescheduled, asked for the new quote to be emailed but never received it. The plumbers did show up as scheduled but thought they were only doing 1 days work and were unclear on the instructions. We had not been sent a new quote but they had a paper copy with edits in pen and it was unclear. We weren't comfortable with having them do work with this marked up quote and asked for the owner to call us.
Fast forward we were rescheduled AGAIN for March 30th. We called them to confirm the day before because they advised the water would be turned off so we had booked a local hotel. We were advised that the quote is no longer valid so they would still be coming out the next day ONLY to do an assessment for a new quote. The quotes states it's valid for 90 days. The quote is from 1.6.21 and March 30th is under 90 days. They said they would get to the bottom of this and call us back. They never called back and did not come to our house on 3.30.21 as scheduled.
I don't know what happened to the Plumbing by Paul company that we used last year, but things have gone down hill at this company.

Gotta tell ya, true story! Had a tree fall today which broke my water line coming into the house. I was out front trying to get the main shut off Couldn't budge the darn thing to shut off! By good fortune Plumbing By Paul happened to make a wrong turn down my street, I flagged them down for assistance. Paul’s plumbing responded immediately to help me locate the leaking pipe. Upon determining the leak was a decaying galvanized pipe leading to the pipe they scheduled its replacement two days later. The crew arrived on time and had the entire line done just a few hours later.

In the past I have had plumbing techs come out, do the job and then leave without a word or explanation, or letting me know what the problem was. Tyler took the time to explain the problem, thoroughly in laymans terms. He didn't try to take advantage of me being a female. He was 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time, and called prior to make sure that was ok, not just showing up. He told me the price up front, what to expect, and how to manage the problem until I am able to have the real problem taken care of. This has been my 2nd time needing to use PBP in a pinch, and both times I am beyond satisfied with the quality or workmanship and professionalism with their staff - from the initial frantic phone call to the office this morning to the time the tech came and completed the job. Plumbing by Paul has helped me two times.
The first time I called, the washer at my guest cottage was backing up into the shower and my guests were complaining. Apollo Plumbing took pictures all the way down the drain line then told me Too Bad. There was nothing they could do. Apollo said the underground pipe out to the alley was not at the proper angle to empty. So then I called Plumbing by Paul. Plumbing by Paul took a look and said I needed to install an air vent behind the washer discharge pipe to prevent an airlock and allow the evacuation of water from the washer to the sewer in the alley. They installed the air vent. There has never been a backup again!

The second time I called Plumbing by Paul, I had a leak under my new bathroom sink. The Plumbing by Paul serviceman pointed out that the sink installer had failed to put a collar around the top of the pipe going down from the sink. He put a collar on the pipe and that fixed the leak. It was perfect. My charge: $94.00 and worth every penny. I am so happy.

In February 2023, I contacted Plumbing by Paul, LLC to obtain a CCTV Video Inspection to give to the county who was offering rebates for inspection and report. They performed the inspection and issued a report on February 9. When I submitted it to the county, I also needed a VIDEO of the inspection. I called and they sent someone with the RECORDING video equipment on February 21. I have contacted them 3 times on the telephone and left messages with no return call and I have emailed them several times with no response. Additionally, I have written the owner of the company and again....no reply. I cannot attest to the quality of their other services, but I would not use them again. BTW, the report of the first and second inspections yielded different results....
