Both gentlemen were prompt and virtuous. They took plenty of time to explain, the “New Pricing Structure”. They provided an emergency/After hours service which I expected to pay a “premium fee” for. The $169 fee to go be estimates now, seems to be common practice for larger established companies. Being fair, time is money. However, if I were paid for every quote I gave my clients, and I’m in a very limited field, with average profit margins, I would be a Billionaire.or I could almost afford local GOOGLE business MARKETING along with their dealership advertising fees.Honestly though, this companies new PRICE STRUCTURE IS RIDICULOUS !!!Replacing two easily replaced, pvc valves with two brass valves, to the inlet and outlet to a water softener, that didn’t need to be moved, was also empty (brand new) a total of 30-mins work for two plumbers, in Jacksonville Florida (not Manhattan or Beverly Hills) what do you think the quote was? Over $900 and the guys were great, they didn’t have to use any pvc, do they only charged me $560+ and the company does warranty their work. However, “I understood their dispatcher to say the cost would be $169 and $100 an hour. Knowing this was a 45-60 minute repair if you have the parts and materials. So when your expecting $169 plus, $100 for an hour labor, plus with a huge mark up maybe another $100.and maybe $100 for travel time and wear and tear, so $469 worst case?So $560 something is fair, I guess,(?)At this rate though, $15 an hour for any employee, is not enough to make a living. Businesses are paying for ADVERTISING !!!!This is ridiculous !!!!!And to make things worse, GOOGLE nor the plumbing company is paying me for detailed and accurate reviews - DO YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND HOW GOOGLE IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING THE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS TO BE NUMBER ONE IN YOUR AREA AND PROFESSION.I have never paid Google 1-cent for advertising. Team up with local businesses and AGREE to stop paying GOOGLES RATES AND MARLET PLACES RATES TO ADVERTISE !!!But the plumbers were great!!!
