I searched through many companies and the reviews before I finally decided to call Everybody's Plumbing. They seemed to have the most reviews starting they were fair priced and friendly. I called and gave details of the issue with my hot water heater to include that a few days earlier I had reset it and had hot water for a couple days until it went out again. He asked if I had tried to reset it again before calling because he charges $80 just for the service call. I let him know that I would tell the tenant to attempt to reset it and if it worked, I would contact him to cancel services. My appointment was at 3:30. At 3:32, I received a text from the guy indicating he was waiting to hear back about the reset button and if anyone was at the home. I responded by text stating yes and a few minutes later by phone, rather than a hello or proper introduction, he says, yes, what? I told him yes the tenant is there waiting, we had a 3:30 appointment and I reminded him that I advised I would only contact him prior to if the reset button didn't work and we no longer needed services. He then makes sure I understand if he drives ALL THE WAY to my address, I'd have to pay $80 just for the call. I said okay, he said okay and that ended the call. Meanwhile, I texted the company number to tenant to find out the new time the plumber would be out to the house and I get a call from the tenant indicating the he no longer wants to come out because I had an attitude on the phone, not to mention, he'd have to drive ALL THE WAY to Southside at 3:30. Hindsight, it seems as though, he wasn't interested in driving to Southside which would have been understandable had he been honest about it but to accuse me of having an attitude was very unprofessional. A few texts are exchanged discussing his unprofessionalism, which ends with him indicating that he's willing to put this all behind him and still come out.....no thank you.
