I love the convenience of on line scheduling. Joe and Kevin arrived on schedule, evaluated the job, explained what they were going to do and cleaned up prior to leaving. I've used Roto-Rooter twice for plumbing issues and have never had any issues with their service or follow-up.

Kelly Trujillo, Brian and Robert with the clean up crew did an amazing job. They were very professional from the time they came into our home till the time they left. Felt very comfortable and everything was explained very thorough. Definitely went the extra mile to make sure that me and my husband were given the knowledge of what was going on and what our options were. If I could give more than a 5 without a doubt I would. My husband called at 9:00 AM and Jake H was here, fixed our plugged drain, and was finished at noon. He was extremely nice throughout the process. He explained why the pipe was plugged and recommended an enzyme to keep it from happening in the future. We trust Roto Rooster and they are our go to plumber.

Called in for a clogged sewer drain & the technician was dispatched within 1hr. Upon arrival, Bryce gave an initial assessment and explained the process. At every step, he was a true professional, keeping us up-to-date & ensuring we understood everything. Afterwards he summarized the work accomplished, provided detailed explanations & preventative recommendations going forward. He also informed us of additional follow up services Roto Rooter provides (e.g., mitigation & abatement) in case we felt we wanted/needed them. Bryce was knowledgeable, courteous, engaging, and respectful of our home throughout the job. Hated to need him, but couldn't be happier with the service he provided.

Two men did not do a good job, nor attempt to clean up any of their repairs. They were unprofessional, took over an hour of billing time to get a part when their office and parts store if 10 minutes away (confirmed by supervisor). They gave me an illegible invoice, didn't complete work (check for mold, other tub has a leak) and frankly were a waste of time and SUPER expensive. They also quoted almost $1600 for a spigot install. Other quotes--- $500 on the high end.

Roto-Rooter truly went above and beyond helping us on our water heater replacement and installation. We have a very complicated, direct vent system which was not easily replaced. We spoke to numerous other plumbing companies and none correctly diagnosed the problem. Colin from Roto Rooter correctly identified the correct solution and let us know that it was going to be more expensive then we expected. However, Colin went above and beyond, finding us an out of box, 40 gallon, direct vent water heater for a more reasonable cost. Awesome job and we highly recommend Roto-Rooter, Colin and Cole!

#20787223 - We're a dental office where our suction or lines are our life line when working with patients. Our building has older copper piping that recently has been getting clogged. Not only was Colin able to assess the problem but it took him less than 2 hours! He actually replaced the copper 1/2 pipe to the PVC 3/4! Great guy, hard working, very conscientious and accomodating! Incredible service and cost was very reasonable!

Brad Boyd was very knowledgeable although still required some persuading about where the problem lied. He followed up the previous guy who came and did not resolve the problem.I did not want to tell him his job but did have some insight since this was a repeat clog that was not handled well the first time and the second.Overall I was happy with his work. The problem was resolved, he gave good advice at a reasonable cost.Thanks

Very impressed with the technician, John Greenleaf (#4758), who visited and addressed our plumbing problem (Invoice #20701128). He was quick to investigate, test, and determine the cause. What stood out was how clearly he communicated. He spoke at an even pace and didn't toss around confusing technical terms. Our questions were answered. It was evident he knew what he was doing. That made us comfortable. From the start he focused on ensuring he didn't dirty the floors with his shoes and equipment. That was before we would have even thought to ask he do so. Before leaving he presented two Roto-Rooter products that, as he explained, if used routinely will help prevent the problem from occurring again. He explained the benefits. In no way did he pressure us. We decided to purchase both products. It was a pleasure working with John.

High priced and I had to show them at end of work that the drain stopper and new pipe stem they installed were not holding water in sink. Had I not checked the install, I would have had to call them back out to fix what they installed. To their credit,,they kept replacing parts they installed until they got it to seal properly.

I wasn't going to write a negative review. I called customer service first to see if we could talk through the issue, but their customer service representative was rude. The 24 hour emergency service that they advertise is non-existent, and they'll charge you 5 times more than any other plumber whether they fix the issue or not. Don't waste your time or money.

First visit: We just purchased a house and the 2nd day, the lower level flooded. The first time roto-rooter came out, they only snaked 4ft, assuring that would solve the problem. The problem was solved, for about 11hrs, then the lower level flooded again.We called back and they sent Willy Blue, who snaked to the street - so far so good! Willy seemed to do a better job of offering up options/next steps/out of the box thinking - which is appreciated, as a customer.

On 12/27/2021 I scheduled an appointment with this agency, they sent a text to confirm either with a Y or N. The text was sent at 11:40, I responded at 11:43. The technician never showed or called. The schedule appointment was between 11:00am - 2:00pm. I called at 4pm asking, where is the tech? of course we get you did not respond to the text quick enough. And the tech said he called, I never received any call, or update from the tech. The operator scheduled to have another tech come between 4pm - 9pm. Never called, never showed up. Then how unprofessional an operator calls my home at 10:30pm at night, indicating the tech will not be arriving, I would not have a tech come to my home that late.Do not use this service they are very unprofessional.

I cant begin to tell you how happy I am with Roto-Rooter ! The young man that helped me did not know I had a clean out system and neither did I . My mistake being a first time home buyer . Anyways older house suggested It could just be roots and sure enough it was . PLUMBLINE told me I needed to replace my pipes and that it would be a 8k job . The master plumber did not even educate me on the pipes and clean out system he found . Might I add he did not even attempt a rooter before digging . Just preying on my lack on knowledge . He knew I was at a point of doing what I had to do and one thing I hate is BAD BUISNESS . Called roto rooter back and asked for the same Rep . Stay away from those guys ! The worst scammer company I have ever encountered. We had a leak in one of our shower pipes and I called Roto-Rooter to get the issue resolved. I will admit the supervisor got to my house in a timely manner and was very professional about the work that needed to be done. He mentioned that there would need to be mitigation but couldn't give me an exact price (which I totally understood) His plumber was a wonderful guy who arrived shortly after and fixed the issue in no time. The supervisor informed me that the mitigation team would be there in an hour. I sat around the house for 3 hours before calling him to inform him that his team had no showed. He called me back promptly and told me they had gotten caught up in a project downtown and would reschedule for the next day at 9:30. I told him I had plans at 12:00 and would not wait around all day. He came by at 9:30 and told me they would be right there. They did not arrive until 11:45 and I was forced to cancel my plans because I was waiting for them again. They were in my house for 10 minutes to set up equipment and left shortly after. They told me they would be there at 10:30am the next day to check out the progress. At 10:25am the next day the team called me to tell me that they were not coming and had a bigger project to work on. I called the supervisor and informed him we would no longer sit around waiting for Roto-Rooter to come complete the mitigation. They sent a guy who spent 15 minutes wrapping up equipment and left the house. The men spent a total of 30 minutes in my house and left equipment for 2 days and charged $920...the supervisor told me they were giving me a discount for $750. I tried calling him back and he has not answered my calls. When I rented the same exact equipment from Home Depot the total for 2 days was $300. Long story short avoid this place at all costs and go rent any mitigation equipment you need from Home Depot tool rental. It will be less headache and you won't feel like you got scammed out of $1000 dollars.

Roto-Rooter came out and redid the sewer pipe at my mother-in-law's house and did a great job! Somi did the excavation to replace the pipe under warranty (awesome warranty, btw!). Brandon was the service tech who cleaned the rest of the pipe of roots. Sal was the person who put in a liner out to the city's main sewer pipe that comes with a 30-year warranty. And Daniel was the person who coordinated it all and showed us the camera footage of before and after.

This review is for John, he was very professional and took his time to get things done correctly and professionally. He got around a root blockage that the other guys could not. He tried different techniques to get through. After the roots were cleared, he made sure he was clean before walking out and finishing up the job. He took the time to do a detailed cleaning of the bathroom. It looked sparkling clean and the terrible smell was gone. Super happy with his work and glad Roto Rooter sent him to us. Thank you!

James and Chuck still came to work on my house in a blizzard! There was a woman that also came to see how much moisture was in my ceiling. She was so nice. She helped me file my insurance claim. Well, I might up the rating after someone actually comes to fix my plumbing problem. I called and tried to schedule an appointment online that gave me a huge window of time. So far, no one has called me back (like they said they would) nor has anyone come to fix the problem. I am very disappointed because it is an inconvenience to have taken off of work and to have made multiple attempts to have contacted this “24 hour” “immediate” service.

Home plumbing secondary line clog issues. Called Roto Rooter who came out twice to resolve the issue. First service technician used large cable but not able to break through clog. Roto-Rooter sent out another technician 2 days later and used power washer to clean out line to include main line. A camera was used to check out the line to make sure no other issues. We had a schedule time of 4 hours window that they unable to meet but once First Technician Kaleb arrived he made outstanding effort (time) to resolve plumbing issue. Second Technician Niko arrived with power washer he took the time to understand history of plumbing problem, what was days before and went right to work. The job site, floor and walls were kept clean and cleaned up after job. Niko explain service done, 6 month guarantee and i watched as camera ran through secondary and mail line systems. Both technicians did not try to up sell pipe system replacement and excavation but did mention the possibility of this type of repair.At the moment things seem to be flowing correctly.

Pros: They answers the phone fast and got my service set up quick. The guy that came out was nice.Cons: They first sent out a representative to check for water damage. She knew nothing and it made us run home to meet her when she couldn't do anything but try to upsell us on things we didn't need. She first said Good news, no water damage! Then after my husband pointed out the base boards were saturated with water she quickly started saying she can write up a quote to have that fixed after the other repair is made even after we repeatedly told her we could do that ourselves.The actual plumber came out hours later (after no communication about where he was because he was supposed to be there much earlier). He was nice enough but quoted $1,050 and 4 hours for the job, including tearing down an entire wall in our finished basement. We said we had to think about it. We had another plumber come out for a quote. $290 and less than an hour with only removing a 1.5 x 1 foot of drywall instead of the entire wall. Craig Wright and his coworker that came out was very helpful and patient. i mean we were not at the house when he arrives and i told him i would be there in 12 minutes but due to traffic we run later than 12 minutes and he did not complain. i really appreciate your patience. They both did a terrific job in getting our sewer cleared and gave us wonderful advice on products we can use to slow down the process from reoccurring soon. We had a main drain back up and our technician was amazing. I wish I could say the entire experience was great, but at least when it came ti work I was extremely satisfied. There initial call center I called was horrible. I almost hung up on her because she was so rude. However I was standing in water and needed help. I'm glad I stayed on the line, even though her horrible attitude. The service technician, Kevin, was friendly, reassuring and great to work with. He fixed the problem quickly, offered suggestions on how to help prevent this in the future and was just all around great. As long as you can get around the horrible call center, you won't be disappointed.

The representative that came to our home, Kevin, was great. He took care of some self inflicted issues along with some needed routine maintenance. The reason for 4/5 stars is the price. $475 per drain is really steep. We actually debated calling someone else, and may have done just that if we didn't have two inches of water in our basement. I really liked Kevin, and his counterpart Brandon. I think the price was too high, though.Edit: response to owner- 0 complaints as far as service goes. The guys were awesome. And honestly, Kevin made sure not to make me feel stupid for a pretty bad mistake. However, 8 months ago we had plumbline clear out one of the two drains your guys did, and it was $250. I realize things are more expensive now, but that seems like too big a jump. And plumbline is notoriously high priced.

My 15 year old faucet sprung a leak and I had to call for an emergency appointment. The dispatcher could not have been nicer! It was during a weekend of below zero temperatures and all techs were on emergency calls-but somehow they managed to find a couple of plumbers that could assist me. Kenny and Jason sent a text when they were 30 minutes away and they arrived right on time! They were professional and so nice and understanding-they could see how I was stressed out over this leak. They cleaned up the mess my faucet cord had made and after an examination-determined I needed a new faucet. They offered to go to Home Depot to pick out a replacement faucet for my sink-so I would not have to go out in below zero weather-so of course I accepted! They called me from Home Depot with a couple of nice options and I chose the one I thought would work best-they did such a great job choosing a nicely priced faucet that perfectly matched my existing hardware in my kitchen-yay! They installed it in no time and tested everything out and showed me all the new features of my new faucet before they left. He even gave me his cell number in case I had any additional questions and they completely cleaned up the work area-everything looked pristine. Now I have a nice new faucet and no more stress! I will definitely use Roto-Rooter again for any future needs without hesitation. Thank you Kenny and Jason for helping me out-you both are THE BEST!!!

Received a call at work that our toilet was backed up. After trying myself when I got home, I decided to call Roto-Rooter. They were able to get a tech over to our house. He explained everything to me before starting and was able to get the roots removed from the pipe. The next day, another tech came out and ran a camera through the clean outs for a pipe inspection (cost included in the previous night’s service). Both techs were very polite and professional. The company cleaned one of the sewer lines for a rental home. I was unhappy with some things, so originally left a negative review. But what really was awesome is that the manager called me about the review and asked what they could do to rectify the situation. We called RotoRooter around 1 pm to have someone come and jet our sewer lines. We were told our info would be sent to dispatch and they would call us in less than an hour. We called back around 2:30 after no one had classed us, and they said it would be another 1-2 hours before we got a call back. They called back after 7 pm to tell us they were booked two days out. I am not sure why we were not informed of this much, much earlier.We have used this company several times for this issue. While waiting for RotoRooter to call us back we called DONE! Plumbing, they had someone out immediately. The person from DONE! took 2 hours to jet our line, and guaranteed his work for 270 days, in the past RotoRooter has taken under an hour for the same job, and as a result they were out much more often. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend you make the switch to DONE! Plumbing. We will no longer be using this business.

While there seemed to be some confusion at the dispatch level, the service tech who came did a great job. We called around 11 Friday night with a problem with our main drain and were told the earliest they could do was between 2-6 Saturday afternoon. Saturday afternoon they called and said they were really backed up so it would be closer to 10 that night. We were pleasantly surprised when they called to say the tech was on his way a little before 6. And the dispatcher had no idea why we had received a call earlier to tell us about the delay. Once Kyle got to our house, he did a great job explaining what needed to be done and getting us back up and working.

Our family had a mystery clog in the toilet when we moved into our new rental. The clog caused the toilet to overflow sewage water all over the bathroom. We called Roto-Rooter and they sent out Keaton Sunley. Keaton was amazing!! He worked so hard trying to figure out what was causing the clog. He was honest, on time, straightforward, and persevered through an intense auger session that was to no avail. Eventually we did find out what was clogging the pipes (a large washcloth that the previous tenant’s child had flushed). Keaton was so respectful and did such a wonderful job. I highly recommend!

Terrible customer service! I called because I have a main line draining problem. They gave me a window between 3 in the afternoon and 7 at night. I called them at 8 when no one had shown up. At 10 pm I called again because still no one had shown up. They were very rude on the phone and condescending when I called. I had dirty water over flowing in my laundry room and after waiting all day to get help they never even apologized. I really needed help and I am sad that people treat others this way.

I have used Rotorooter for now 3 major plumbing repairs over the years. The most recent Scotty and Adam came out first thing on a Sunday Morning to clean out a clogged main line. They were on time and got the work done in a fast efficient manner. They were done before Noon so the whole day was not shot. Considering I found the problem at 7 AM I consider that great service. All the times I have called they have been quick to respond and quick to get the jobs done. In the past they have replaced 2 broken lines in the house and now they are going to sleeve the main line since roots have broken into the old clay pipe. I have and will continue to highly recommend them as a great company to do work when you have sewer problems.

Roto Rooter was called to come out at 5:20pm I was told it was a 2 hour window. The Dispatcher called me 4 times and each time I was told the technician was on a big job that was requiring more time. There are 2 technicians available both on big jobs. Finally at 8:46pm I was told a technician would be on his way and would be at my home in 30-45 minutes. A technician showed up at 9:30 approx. He seemed to be a very nice intelligent man. My kitchen drain was clogged. He brought in his tools and cleared my drain. Leak checked everything and was gone 10:45pm. He did a good job was very thorough.

Had a back flow in my finished basement that I needed done asap. Called Roto-Rooter in the afternoon and they scheduled an appointment before 8pm. Once I realized that my warranty company wouldn't be open that late, I called again to ask for an earlier visit. Receptionist got me in touch with Brandon F, who was very accommodating. We had no issue with the technician- the drain was cleared. However- there was no water on the floor and no clean-up necessary, the technician was on site for less than 30 minutes and he spent approximately 10-15 minutes clearing the drain. The service charge was $74, and the labor charge was $300. We called your company as we had used them in the past and we were satisfied with the service and felt the rates were fair. We were told when we questioned the fee that the rates have changed. We are unhappy with this excessive labor charge and feel it is unfair.

I recently used roto-rooter services for a drain/plumbing issue I was having. They came out for 2 different appointments, the 1st was amazing. Techs Mike & Brendan were professional, clean, knowledgeable, understanding, & answered ALL of my questions! However, the 2nd appointment was not even comparable! Tech David Davey was rude & condescending! As soon as he came to my home he didn't say anything, then proceeded to walk through my house with his dirty boots, before even asking me where he needed to go. If he just spoke to me & asked I could tell him where to go instead of ignoring me & passing where to go. I would only use roto-rooter again if they can guarantee techs like Mike and Brendan!

I had a bad experience when first calling. The receptionist misquoted a time, the plumber ran late, I stayed up until two in the morning waiting for the quoted time and received a less than optimal response when I called to ask what was going on. I understand the nature of the work is variable, but a courtesy call would have been nice.I ended up rescheduling for the following day with another contractor. Fred arrived on time, was knowledgeable, professional, and completely turned my opinion of Roto-Rooter around. If you had asked me last night, I would certainly not recommend Roto-Rooter. I can honestly say I was pleased, if you call be sure to ask for Fred! He turned what would have been a one star review into a five.

Jason tracked down an elusive cracked pipe in an upstairs bathroom that leaked into our finished basement. He narrowed down the possible causes of the leak and made a very surgical opening in the bathroom and basement walls to find and replace a cracked pipe with one that he ordered ahead of time. He did this all in minimum time.Afterwards Trey and Paul on the restoration team removed and disposed of the drywall affected by the leak and disinfected and aired out and the surrounding floor and wall area. They couldn't have been more professional.If we ever need expert plumbing or restoration services in the future we're contacting Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup again.

Our main sewer line was completely blocked after draining very slowly for several days. Allen came out and was extremely professional and friendly during the service call. He explained everything he was doing and offered a few suggestions, like getting water alarms so we'd know when the basement floor drain was draining sluggishly so we could address it right away in the future. Our home is older ('63) so has terra cotta pipes that we have concerns about. He set up a free inspection for later this week so we can get an estimate for a repair or replacement on our main line. He also set up a call with Roto-Rooter's restoration team so we could get estimates on a full restoration on the damaged areas in the basement.All in all, we're really pleased with the service from Roto-Rooter, and especially from Allen. I've seen some reviews that balk at the price, but it was well worth the level of service and the quick fix to what has been an extremely inconvenient and unsafe problem with our plumbing. I'm hoping our further services from them for repair and restoration go just as well!

Impeccable service. Our plumber, Robert, was out to our home ASAP on a Sunday night to clean 110 feet of sewer line for an emergency drain backup we were experiencing. What a relief! The problem was resolved quickly, he gave us helpful advice for future maintenance, and he was very respectful of our home. Robert turned a stressful situation into a breeze! :) We will definitely used his services, if needed, in the future. Thank you, Robert!!!!Edit: January 2021 - today was the second time we had to call Roto rooter for an emergency. Our technician Kaleb arrived promptly just an hour and a half after our service call on a Saturday night and was able to fix our sewage overflow and clean the mainline. The work is guaranteed for six months which also gives us peace of mind. Kaleb was very polite, professional, and explained the process to us. The company also sent out an employee, David, to advise about sanitation and cleanup . We decided to hire out the sanitation as well and are so happy we don’t have to deal with this mess.

Today I requested Celina again, who had come to my house to do a yearly clean out to the street a few months ago and to fix a dishwasher not draining issue. I liked her work so put her name in my contacts -- #5374. She just left and I wanted to rave about her right away. She figured out a troublesome kitchen drain clog today and solving the mystery by going through with the snake twice to finally find and pull back a piece of saran wrap causing the problem. Roto-rooter technician Isaiah came in and cleared a backed up drain on an emergency weekend call when a cheaper company failed failed failed. Not the cheapest, but it was done right AND he contained and cleaned up his mess! Bill, the Excavation Field Supv, came and ran a camera the next day to ensure everything was well and he left no trace except for the video! Hoping I don't have to anytime soon, but I'd call again and skip the headache the first time. I'd give a 5 star rating if the pricing was more competitive. Definitely amazing customer service!

I have worked with Brett Kremer at Rotorooter on 2 occaisions. Brett is a first class customer service guy. He found a huge concrete plug in my main sewer line that was causing my new basement to take on water. The builder didn't know how to find it, and Brett kept at it going around corners, and under ground, explaining the process all along to me, and the surperintendant. He stayed till we found it and then checked other areas to make sure that was all. This guy knows what he is doing and gets it done right.

I am happy to write this review...it started with a basement toilet overflowing and calls to 4 other companies who were unable to help...a quick call to Roto Rooter and within an hour the first member of my Dream Team, Dan extremely nice lady showed up to evaluate the damage. No kidding,this kind soul really cares...she guided us through the process and immediately had the second superhero,Chris, on his way...Chris was awesome as well! He went straight to work,had the drains cleared in no time and then explained the entire process in detail. Just like D,Chris is a kind soul that you immediately trust...now comes the next step...cleanup and restoration...i had no idea where to start! About the time I was considering taking a long walk on a short pier, D called back to congratulate us on being able to use water again and to reassure us that help was on the way.The very next morning the restoration team showed up exactly on time(on a Sunday no less!)and promptly removed all affected materials(carpet,baseboards, etc..)sanitized all the surfaces and set up an array of fans to dry everything out.Outstanding!! Now that we are clean and flushing again,the rest of the story is about filing insurance (which RotoRooter is also handling for us! Thank you!) and rebuilding...I truly want to thank D and Chris (and the cleanup guys too) for their prompt response,their caring attitudes and professionalism...If you have ever had your home full of raw sewage, you know...NOTHING is more important at that moment! If it were possible to give them 0 stars I would but our basement was flooded and I called and scheduled an appointment and it was scheduled from 12-3 once it turned 4:30 I called the dispatch again and they told me that there were some delays.... even though they never followed up and told me they would not be able to make the hit time. Then they said they should be there from 6-8 and we stayed up all night waiting for them until 10pm.. unable to use any water we called ARS PLUMBING and they were out in 25 mins and helped up with our problems.I really hope others don’t have as much problems as we have and I honestly will never use Roto rooter ever again.

Wish I could leave a better review. Scheduled a technician to come unclog our shower drain. It seemed to work but the day after there was suddenly a leak in the ceiling of the room directly below the shower that was not there before. I called Roto Rooter back and they sent out another technician to tell us he couldn’t repair it or discount the price for any less than $1100. After emailing and talking to multiple people, we were able to get the original service refunded at least. Guess we’ll be taking our business elsewhere to get the new leak fixed.

Roto-Rooter is always so dependable!!! They are one of the most expensive plumbing services out there I won't dent that. But when you have a middle of the night or late at night main or service line back up they will make sure to get a technician out ASAP. In addition to getting the service line cleared at 1:00am they provided a complimentary scope to help us figure out what exactly was going on. Which found root intrusion and now I can plan with the city the best course of action to get things taken care of.

I had a clog somewhere between the kitchen sink and the main. I tried snaking it myself but the clog was too far down. I called Roto-Rooter and they came out the same day and arrived when they said they would. Ricky, who did the work, explained what he would do and what it would cost. When I asked him about the price, he stated that it was somewhere in the middle between the highest and lowest I would find. Fair enough. Sometimes you pay a little more for a reputable company that will do the job right away. Ricky did an excellent job. He was careful to minimize the disruption, explained what he was doing, cleaned up everything and was extremely personable. Most importantly, he cleared the clog completely. Everything took just under an hour. The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice to know the approximate pricing prior to having them come out. They did have an on-line coupon for $40 off which was nice. If the same thing happened again, I would call them first.

Very disappointing. They would not give any type of estimate over the phone. I talked to a manager and told him I wanted a cable cleaning and needed 135 feet from my outside clean-outs to the main. He said ok. When technicians came, they tried to up sell me to the jet process. ($913 more than their cable service) I said no and said I wanted the cable service. I asked if they had the 135 foot cable I asked for, the said no, they only had a 100 foot cable. I went on and had the service done. It costs me $150 more than my previous service.

We called about a broken valve that flooded a portion of our unfinished basement. They were quick to fit us in their schedule and called 30 minutes prior to the appointment to give us a heads up that they were on their way. Collin was absolutely amazing and worked on our home like it was his own. He was extremely personable and went above and beyond for us. Not only did he explain the exact issue and it’s cause, he helped to make sure we knew how to prevent it in the future. He even cut away the wet installation and hung the remaining back up for us, making it look even better than it did before!

I am very impressed with the service I received on July 19, 2020 with Roto Rooter. Infact I will be calling them 1st next time rather than anyone else.It was a Sunday and no one else in the phone book was interested in helping with a literal emergency of a flood in my bathroom coming from another place in the buildingSteve and Serena from Roto Rooter were pleasant, helpful AND were able to effectively diagnose the problem before cutting into my walls, but rather determined the source was coming from another place in the building. I usually use Apple wood Plumbing, but now it's gonna be RR. Very competent.WOW! Even the dispatcher was on top of it and had Steve call me when he was on the way to gather info about what was going on before he got there. Who does that? Impressive! They were wonderful. I'm a landlord and these people will be my new go to people. Further, RR does remediation and Steve gave me solid info about the process of repairing things. Thank you Steve and Serena!

7-10-18: I had a weird sound coming from my toilet and was worried I was going to have sewer back-up. David assured me that wasn't the issue but instead I needed a new part so the toilet would flush properly. David went out of his way to show me how the first replacement part didn't fit, but how the second one did. I will sleep better tonight knowing I will not have sewage backup in the near future. Even though, the prices are not cheap, the service and labor make up for it. This is a 2nd positive experience I've had with this company!12-15-17:James was GREAT! I called roto rooter at 2:00 am on a Sunday morning because I had water coming up in my showers and toilets. They were able to get to my house around 10:00 am. The tech Kevin was awesome and explained the process. Price was not bad either considering it was an emergency call on the weekend. I have a home warranty on issues like this and I called them first. Almost a week later and I'm still waiting on a call back from them. So I would have went that long with no shower or toilet use. I am an extremely satisfied and thankful customer.

We were having water pressure problems and after paying $299 for the guy to come out, we still have water pressure problems. He adjusted a pressure regulator valve and did some minor adjustment to a shower fixture but there is no discernible difference in our water pressure. He told me to call another plumbing company to have them look at it. So if you want to throw away almost $300, this is the company to call!

After a funeral I was trying to get caught up on laundry. Completely exhausted and drained. When the wash cycle was over I saw the main line had backed up from tree roots. Not the best day for me. I was relieved to see Craig Wright was the technician they sent to my home. He has helped me before. As far as I am concerned he is the best and it speaks well for Roto-Rooter to have such a through and detail oriented employee at their company for a long time. With all of the things I was dealing with I want to relay that Craig always does a great job. Never have to call him back with any issues after his service. If you ever have an issue I would highly recommend him. He even stopped my washer handle from leaking with even being asked. WOW ! I even purchased the additional Pipe Shield product with his recommendation. He explained that it keeps the drains free-flowing longer. No harsh chemicals and it's commercial strength and safe to use on a residential home. Craig made a bad day much better. Thanks Roto-Rooter for sending such a skillful employee to help me. Service was scheduled between 8-10. I called at 10:20 the call center insured me that they would have someone there in the next 40 minutes. The tech showed up 2 hours later at 12:20. I get it, Jobs can either go as planned or Become more challenging like his first job of the day did. He finally got started!David Pierce was a real cool guy and really worked hard to unclog what was a hassle for myself. A $210 charge for a hand held snake auger is a very high fee to me but I lost my patience with this toilet and am very pleased that David saved the day. I mentioned the discount listed on the website and he accepted with no problem. Much respect for what you do David!

The tech that came out the final day, Dan 5staslll? was very knowledgeable and did a great job in finally getting our line cleared 160' to the City Main line. He spent the morning and afternoon on his day off to finish the project and never gave up. He changed bits to accomplish the feet and camera scoped the line numerous times during the operation. The fee was expensive, but being a senior and retired construction engineer, I feel he earned every bit of it. I plan to have him back in one year to maintain the line and to do a visual to determine how fast the root intrusion is occurring. Thanks again Dan. My wife and I will sleep better tonight. Yes, I feel that there is a reason you were there for us.

I called around 9 am and got a two-hour window from 10-12 pm. I briefly explained that my kid might have thrown a toy in there and clogged my toilet. I asked for a cost estimate to have a technician look at it. The lady at customer service said that there would no cost for a technician to come and look at it. It was hard to give a cost estimate on the work needed, so the technician on site would give me a cost estimate and I could then decide if I wanted the technician to do the work or not. After calling back at 11.45 am, they said that I should get a call as soon as a technician was heading my way. I did get a couple of calls saying that they were looking for a technician. I finally got a call at 3:30 pm that a technician was heading my way. The technician was very friendly and gave me a cost estimate of $485 with tax to unclog it and said that there would be an additional $200 to fix the water closet back in if it came to that. He said there was a $65 fee for him to come out and look at it if we did not decide to do it. The technician's auger was able to retrieve the toy and unclog the toilet. He charged me $485 as promised. When I called a plumber, I came to find out that $95 is what they would charge me to unclog the toilet. While I am happy with the service, I feel cheated as I way overpaid for the service.

The attention to detail was incredible and he went the extra mile to make sure everything was correct, including re-strapping a drain pipe that was not secured properly and replacing a pipe fitting that had a small, previously unnoticed leak. The service was great after someone came to my house. Colin completed the work in a very timely manner. However when I called the first time on 5 Dec someone was suppose to come to my house that afternoon between 1-5pm. however someone called me around 3pm and said they could not make that day and would 8 am - 12pm the next day 6 Dec work and I said yes, well the plumber showed up around 3pm, that was not between 8 am - 12pm. Then that plumber apologized and said he did not have the correct parts and could Colin come by on Monday 10 Dec and do the repair. I guess so if that is my only option I thought.

We called Roto_Rooter about a clog. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. She was able to schedule us that day or the very next day. We chose a time during the week in the morning. Brad came by to access our problem. He was very friendly and informative. He was able to immediately get the ball rolling on the issues we were having. Soon after he left, our plumber arrived at the house. His name was Paul. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and was able to find the clog quickly. Good job but way overpriced. Charged $500+ to snake an upstairs line (clear a line from an upstairs bathroom to the downstairs- nothing outside of house). I had the same drain done a year ago for $150 including toilet removal. Originally quoted almost $700 for the job and lowered it some when I pushed back. Good work, but I should have done more research on pricing and what we paid in the past before agreeing to the quote and letting work start. I had rooms full of poop, so let it go and had already waited most of the day for the tech. Lesson learned.

They said the guy would be at my home between 8-10, he showed up finally about 11. The guy came and did the work late, but the bigger problem was they charged 374.00 to unplug the kitchen drain only. Had backup in our basement. Called Roto Rooter in Boulder because we had used them two or three years ago (2015). The same service person, Andy, came out and cleaned out our sewer. He could not totally clear our line and recommended a TV scoping be done. Because of the service call the TV scoping was free and done the same afternoon. It showed that the line was blocked where it met the main - clearly visible. We signed an estimate / contract for the sewer to be repaired at the main (spot fix). David Davey was the crew chief who handled our estimate and scheduling. He was very good to work with. The crew of three who showed up to dig out and repair our sewer (in the street) were excellent to work with and did a great job. Our sewer line was totally clogged for several feet where it met the main and they replaced it. They showed me the clogged portion removed and I was astounded at that it even worked at all. I would recommend David Davey and his crew for the good work they did.

I have a lot of respect for these guys. I had to call them out more than once because my house is old and had a drum trap they couldn't get past to fix the clog. They didn't charge me at all for the times they couldn't get a satisfactory result, and their techs were very informative. We had a professional out to replace the old drum trap with a modern p-trap (but the clog was past that point), then had roto-rooter out again and they fixed the problem right away.

I have had some problems with sewage backup so I called Roto Rooter based on other reviews. They called and confirmed exactly when they said they would be here, showed up on time, communicated with me and showed me the drain and camera (we couldn't get the snake through the first time due to the way the pipes were configured, which we didn't know until we used the camera), explained in detail, causes and options, and we finally agreed to pull the toilet and see if we could snake through there rather than the trap(?). The tech was then able to get to the street through the clog.Joe, tech 1695, was awesome. He came twice today, I was not charged trip fees and he did a fantastic clean up. I have had others perform work and none have left the job site this clean. He was able to clear the clog and provided me with tons of information on maintaining clear pipes, from pressure wash to enzymes, as well as a service for repairing water damage caused by overflow. Super nice, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient.I don't usually write reviews, but based on the experience today, I feel that Joe and the team at Rotorooter deserve the praise they earned. Not cheap but worth every penny to have it done right. Very happy!

I called Roto -Rooter when most plumbers are closed, they picked up the phone and I was able to schedule a service call for the following day. The service techs Joe & Kevin were prompt, courteous, and did a great job fixing the problem. Overall it was a great experience and Roto-Rooter was definitely a cut above what you experience with a typical contractor. My only complaint is it was expensive for the amount of time it took to complete the job (almost $400 for less than an hour of work).

This is the first negative review I have ever written. Had an appointment window between 10 am and 12 pm and was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to a technician arriving. 1130 comes and goes, but I understand things happen and I'm a fairly patient and laid-back person. 12pm, 1230pm, 1pm, 130pm....still no call. So I decide to call around 150pm just to get an update. I let the guy know that I had an appointment window between 10-12. I was never rude to this gentleman but I guess he was having a bad day so customer service went out the window. This tech was rude and had an attitude. I remained calm. He ended up asking me if I wanted to reschedule or take my name off of the list. I simply asked how much longer would it be and he says 5-6 hours. So I requested my name be removed. I didn't bring up the fact that you could have called and let me know this. That should be common sense. Why give a window of 10-12 if you won't be there until 7-8 at night? Why not call and let your customer know you're running behind...a lot? We've all dealt with rude people. I deal with them daily. But that was just unacceptable considering the amount of money I would have ended spending. I'm not going to put the guy's name on blast(because the company should know what tech was supposed to come out). I don't want to talk and I don't want a response from the owner. Because if I'm being honest, chances are nothing is going to happen to the tech because I highly doubt that this is the first time he's ever done anything like this and I'm sure he's gotten complaints in the past. Wish I could have received some good service like the majority of these other reviewers, but I understand life isn't fair.

I called at 6:30am with an emergency that required me to turn off the water while at home with a toddler. I was given an appointment window of 8am-12pm. I was called at 11am and told that someone would be contacting me shortly. 2pm came and nobody showed up or called me. And the lady on dispatch was rude when I called to cancel my appointment. Noticed my floor was starting to bubble/warp. I soon realized that there was a leak somewhere in my plumbing. Jason came out on a Sunday to address the issue. It may have taken over an hour just to find the leak, but I was not charged for any of that time. Jason was methodical with his approach and I appreciate that. Less holes in the wall that way :) He eventually found a very small pin-hole leak inside the wall. He replaced that section of the pipe and all was well. Fortunately for me, replacing a section of pipe has a flat rate, so the cost was very reasonable. I'll definitely call them again if needed. Thanks, Jason!

I had a basement floor drain that was backing up and could use no water anywhere in the house. It was not a simple clog between the drain and the main drop which is the usual issue. It also involved the septic system. Complicated. RotoRooter was great. When we were able to confirm it was a main line blockage after checking the septic, RotoRooter sent Adam out to clear it. Adam was absolutely great and carefully got the main line cleared safely pretty quickly. Adam and everyone at RotoRooter was so responsive, friendly and professional it made this tying issue easier to get through. I highly recommend them. Everything is working well now, but since we found roots in the clog, we’re going to scope it to determine the best course of action to eliminated a future problem.

The plumbing in my house leaves a lot to be desired. The kitchen is at one end and the plumbing stack is at the other end. When Mr. Vossberg arrived he immediately was what the problem was and after cleaning out the line (the blockage was at the far end of the line, nearer the stack), made some very helpful suggestions on how to keep the line open. My guess is that sometime in the future, I'll have the same problem just because of the way the plumbing was designed by the builder. However, I'm hopeful.

We are from Colorado Springs and we had an emergency sewage and drain back up in our basement the night before Thanksgiving. Initially, we were able to prevent further flooding, but with the holiday, we waited to have the lines looked at. Having waited a day because of the holiday the situation got worse, but we made the call to Rotorooter, and with in 2 hours Craig was at our home to assess damage and start the process for clean up and restoration. He was extremely knowledgable, polite and professional. By the next morning we had Brandon F at home to remove blockage and address the problems with the backed up lines. He was also very knowledgeable, polite and professional, and answered additional questions we had about our service going forward. He also gave us suggestions for other troublesome areas in our home that could potentially add to future issues arising. What a day... Our sewer line backed up into our toilet, shower, tub and washer drain. Scott arrived at our house at 10:30 AM and did not leave until the issue was resolved at 6:00 PM. He went above and beyond in his work, explaining the situation as well as keeping me calm. He called in a tech to scope (HUGE thanks to Kevin for walking our yard in the freezing snow for nearly an hour and discovering the problem location) and another tech to extend the line to get things free and moving – Scott and the team at Roto-Rooter get things DONE for customers. All this effort was a warranty call as well, showing they not only stand behind their work but also have wonderful customer service. I had a mixed experience with Roto-Rooter.1ST SERVICE---------------------My initial call for service was to unclogged a sewer mainline on a Sunday afternoon. The phone rep promptly found a time slot and gave me an arrival estimate. The plumber showed up early (to my surprise), assessed the situation, determined that he needed to enter through the lowest floor toilet and gave me a quote for $465. Obviously, this was sticker shock but I needed this done and expected a higher price based on the time/day and the extra work. The plumber had a hard time clearing the clog and, since his shift was ending, called in another plumber to complete the job. The second plumber completed the job and the overall process took nearly 4 hours. Both plumbers were polite, cleaned up after their work, and kept my toilet intact.TLDR: I was satisfied with main sewer line unclogging.2ND SERVICE----------------------My second request was a mainline camera inspection for $50 and a technician came out to do the work. Again, my toilet had to be removed for access. After some struggle, the technician tells me he cannot complete the inspection due to the amount of turns in the pipe. I tell him I'll put the toilet back on myself as I wanted to cleanup the flange area. Unusually, he leaves promptly without having me sign anything or giving me time to ask questions (Like if I should get refund for not actually having the inspection finish). It turns out, he had BROKEN my toilet. After some angry calls to the technician and his manager (in which it was suggested that I broke my own toilet), another plumber was to come out to assess the problem.TLDR: I was VERY UNSATISFIED with main sewer line inspection, how my toilet was broken, and how I was tossed around on the phone trying to resolve my issue. Also, I was mad as hell that the technician did not own up to breaking my toilet and the suggestion I had broken it on my own.3RD SERVICE----------------------The 3rd plumber came out and offered to replace my toilet. I had reservations, as my original toilet was a 14 inch rough-in which is hard to find He suggested that the gap from the wall to the tank could be mitigated somewhat - I believed him and agreed to a new toilet. He comes back with the cheapest toilet Home Depot sells (Glacier Bay 2RC08W - $88) and installs it. After quickly inspecting the install, I reluctantly sign-off and sent him on his way. I was not charged anything for the new toilet and install. It turns out the that toilet was not installed correctly and moved after I sat on it! I had to spend the next hour reinstalling the toilet correctly. At least the plumber was extremely polite.TLDR; I didn't like how my toilet was replaced with a cheap model. I should of pushed harder but I just wanted the problem fixed. Lesson learned for the future.SUMMARY-----------------I now have an unclogged main line but it came at the cost of $465, a broken toilet replaced with a cheap model, and an extra 4 inches of space between the tank and my wall. I'll likely have to change out this cheap toilet with a 14 inch rough-in at my own expense. I did get a refund for the $50 sewer line inspection with some extra calls.I recommend looking elsewhere first before going with Roto-Rooter.

Scott and Connor took an emergency call because I had water leaking from the roof of my garage. When they came over, they very professional and very nice. They explained everything in detail, made sure they pointed out what the problem was, and fixed it. They were very through, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way with what they were doing. They repaired the issue and I highly recommend them.

Matt and Jason were great they arrived at 10:45am and worked till 3:50pm. The problem was more extensive than anticipated, but they didn’t stop till it was done. My wife and I just bought a house, complete with plumbing issues that needed fixing quickly. We called a few places to price out the work to be done, and decided on Roto-Rooter immediately after meeting the technician they sent out. Ray Maiden was courteous, professional, and most importantly he resolved our plumbing issues flawlessly. He nailed the price he quoted us, fixed every issue and honestly exceeded our expectations. I read a few other folks' reviews that wavered on the company overall, and I have to agree that in our case the individual made ours a five-star experience. We will happily recommend him to anyone!

While the technician showed up later than expected due to vehicle maintenance, he was extremely polite and helped us look for our internal drain for the sprinkler system, which was out of scope for the repair. (Unfortunately, we never found it.) He kept us informed as he made discoveries and progress, and our pipe is looking good.

We had Rooter Nation come out first. They couldn't clear the line and left us (with two kids) without service and the bill - meaning no baths, no laundry, no dishwasher, no washing hands! That night, we called Roto Rooter to come out the next morning... and thank God we did. Paul from Roto Rooter was very concerned that the last guy couldn't get through AND got their line stuck, but tried anyway.... Paul got it clear in 20 minutes. 20 MINUTES, when the last guy said it wasn't doable. Paul was real, honest, and talented. My kids even felt comfortable hugging him. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys totally saved us. I'll never go anywhere else.

I am not very happy. I had rotor rooter out in July, then I had to call to have you guys come out again. When I called, the lady said you would be out by noon. Then a gentleman called and said it was going to ve an hour or two because. Truck went down. That call came in after noon. Then at 2:20 I called and a lady came on the phone and said that you were on your way. I asked how long and the lady was short in saying about a half hour. CrAig showed up a little before 3.

Had some things to fix with my sump pump from a home inspection. I was on a time limit and they were able to send someone out for an estimate and fix it all in the same day. Tanner was amazing and very friendly. After he was done he showed me what he fixed. I would use this company again.

My daddy is living with us now and the only bathroom he could use was backed up. I needed the toilet pulled and the sewer line unstopped quickly. The company I usually used was booked up until 4:00. Craig & Cole came within the hour and they were very professional. They did a great job and were very nice. Their clean up job was as good as I would have done myself! Thank you! The one complaint I have about the company as a corporation is that your prices are outrageous. The company I always use is a lot cheaper and do just as good of a job. I think your prices need to be reevaluated so that people like me (Average income) are able to use your great company! Thank you!

Had a water leak in my basement on Christmas day. Roto Rooter was quick to come out and help assess the problem. Juan (3356) was there promptly to snake out our sewer drain and contact Mike (his camera guy) to see if there were other damages to the drain. Steve, a field supervisor arrived and was quick to help identify damaged areas in the basement and help me get the insurance process started. The next day Steve's team was quick to come in and tear out and mitigate the damaged areas so further damage did not occur. Steve's team was also very good at helping get a plumber out to fix the leak. Celina (5374) was awesome. She came in, identified what was the best option to fix the leak and was quick to do so. I believe Roto Rooter has a great team of professionals who are quick to act! Thank you!

There was an unexpected leak in my bathroom and I researched companies for two days to find the company I believed would provide me the best level of service. Your business stood out. The ratings were positive, the business reputable. I thought I made an amazing choice for services and I was very confident that the investment was worth it. There are several companies that priced significantly lower than your company, but I thought that the higher cost would be worth the services provided. I am very disheartened to say that they were not. This experience was an absolute nightmare.Service request: To come and diagnose two leaks. One in my kitchen under the sink, and another coming from my upper restroom to my lower restroom.Estimate: included no service charge to correct the kitchen leak as it only required a gasket, and included diagnosis and correction of the bathroom leak which involved cutting into the problem area.I was at work and I had my family present in the home. I approved the work to be completed. When I retired from work approximately an hour after services were complete, to my dismay, I found that i was charged an erroneous fee, the upper bathroom tile was removed and not replaced. The bathroom tile was brand new. This left a gap in my bathroom floor, right next to the bathtub. My 5 year old child used the restroom and slipped on the exposed tile and cracked her head.. this is how I realised the tile was not in place. I then went to the lower basement to check the work done and discovered a gaping hole in my ceiling with wood pieces everywhere. Not only did the technition make a mess and not clean up, he didn't replace any of the areas he had to damage to get into the root of the problem.I expected a professional plumber at a reputable company to finish the job in a professional manner and put the home back as be found it. I'm so disappointed at what has occurred. My home is in disarray. What should have been a positive experience was replaced with a very confusing and maddening experience. I called the customer service line to complain and request service to correct the issues left behind. I was advised that a supervisor or member of management was unavailable and I can wait a couple of hours for a call back. I was also advised by Kirk that someone probably should come back out today or tomorrow to correct the issues left behind. That left a huge amount of doubt and worry on my end.I do not have faith that my issue is being taken seriously. And no one can tell me if or when this disaster can be corrected.

Caleb (5403) & Cho (5619) quickly diagnosed the issue then provided a detailed explanation of what was going on and what would be required to make the fix. They were prompt and courteous, and their work was of significantly higher quality than the previous RotoRooter plumber who'd attempted to make the same fix (5289).

Very expensive ($480) to clear a sewer line (and there is a $75 off coupon they didn’t bother to mention) but they came right out on a Saturday and did a good job. I had another company (Sewer Scope, LLC) come 2 days later and scope the line and they said the line was clear and looked good. If you don’t have an emergency, take your time and shop around. (FYI, if you’re looking for preventative maintenance, Sewer Scope LLC charges $285 to flush and scope the line and they send you the video and report.)

Craig Wright came out because I thought I had a main drain problem and found out I didn't. So then he contacted dispatch for me and a Rotor Rooter plumber was on there way. Great honesty and help from Craig. Chris arrived verified the broken pipe and soon was out getting parts to repair it. At this time it was 6pm. He said he could finish in about an hour or so and did. We tested it and the drain leak was fixed. Both men were very friendly and professional. Both also thanked me for calling Rotor Rooter. It was a great experience doing business with those guys and your company. I hope someone really reads this because those two guys were great. We had a plumber who originally installed a new toilet in our home. A couple weeks later while in the basement, we found that the toilet was leaking. Thank God we were able to see the leak or it could have been leaking unnoticed for a long time and done some serious damage.I called the original plumber and he wouldn’t come back out without charging me $250. He told me he had installed “thousands of toilets” and it has to be a defective toilet.Realizing I couldn’t trust the original plumber, I called Roto Rooter and they sent out John Greenleaf the next morning. Thankfully, he was able to diagnose AND fix the problem. The original plumber didn’t seal the toilet correctly and the bracket on the flange was loose.Overall, if you want reliable, WARRANTIED plumbing work done, go with this company. You may spend a little more than other local companies, but you won’t have to have someone else come out and fix shoddy work.
