I was very happy with Mr. Rooter- honestly probably the best service I’ve ever had! Our sewer was backing up and the service technician was at our house within 20 minutes. He was professional and efficient, explaining everything as he went along. He took care of our problem quickly and for a reasonable price - I couldn’t be happier with the service.
I will be using Mr Rooter again for all of our plumbing needs.

I call to get an estimate on getting my grease trap fixed/replaced. They said they would be there between 1 and 3 that day. At 330 I called them and they said that they had to reschedule for the next day. They said they would be by between 1 and 4 the next day. Guess who didn't show up or bother to call? Yep Mr Rooter. If you have a plumbing problem I would not recommend. They are not reliable.

Joseph was my plumbing specialist and repaired my clogged sink within minutes. When 3 other companies wanted to charge me close to $2600 Mr. Rooter did as they promised free estimated and service fee. Joseph was the kindest and most polite- very professional!! I called these guys an actual live person answered the phone.
The next morning they were at my place ready to take care of the problem. And that they did in a timely manner. Price was very reasonable, I will call them again if needed.

Called Mr Rooter for emergency services on Saturday evening because of a leaking water heater. James showed up that night to assess the situation and returned Sunday to replace pipes and install a new unit, but due to the rainstorms, the actual install was delayed until Monday. James was such a trooper keeping us informed and working through a very the challenging situation. I would definitely recommend Mr Rooter and James again!

When I called I spoke with a lady name Tammy who was very pleasant and got someone to come over within 30mins. Tony was the person who helped us. He was very helpful and explained everything to us in detail and was able to diagnose the problem and fix in a short period of time. I highly recommend this company and Tony to anyone in need.

When no one else would not come on a Sunday.. Mr. Rooter (Joe) was at my door in less than 30 min. No extra charge for being a Sunday. All my sewage was plugged under the house, and showing its ugly smell at every opening it could find inthe house. Joe wasted no time sending the snake down the drain, then went into the house making sure everything was draining, took the time to hose down areas in the home.. He was Very polite, explained what was he was doing and the price was reasonable. They saved the day for me!!

The plumber was very personable but not skilled in replacing 4 vanity faucets in my 3 bathrooms. He purchased the faucets from Home Depot rather than a website for plumbers with more inventory so the plungers/sink stoppers don’t operate (opening/closing) on 3 due to custom built granite countertops (even though the old ones operated perfectly). He blamed the construction instead of taking responsibility for not having ordered correctly. Also, he didn’t tighten the nozzles or handles firmly enough so they came loose within a few weeks of wear. He came back twice to tighten them down. He struggled doing so partly from poor skill and partly because his tool box was nearly empty of bolt options. After 4 or 5 tries, he finally found bolts that seemed to work. After 2 months, so far all are still firmly holding to the countertops but I do not recommend Mr. Rooter for custom plumbing.
***Two star review only because they charged me for a sewer line blockage they could not clear.
The service man was pleasant and helpful. I will get an estimate for plumping replacement at a later time.

The day before I had company coming for dinner my kitchen sink got clogged and I couldn't get it cleared. I called Mr. Router and he was at my house within a couple of hours. He cleared the drain and charged a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with the service.

If your sewer is backing up, you are NOT having a good day. Mr. Rooter was on the job fast and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes. They gave me a quote prior to making repairs and offered additional recommendations to avoid the problem in the future. The technician was clean, courteous and very professional. I highly recommend them!
These guys are horrible. Charged exorbitant fees to misdiagnose our plumbing problems then gave estimate that turned out to be literally thousands more than the company we eventually went with. Plus were patronizing and rude. We went with Affordable Trenchless and they were great.
Keenon was very professional and did a great job explaining the charges and even gave us a small discount for asking him to fix all of our toilets at once. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and Keenon specifically.

Danny came out found the problem. And did something he had only done 3 times in his career. Stick his arm down our sewer pipe and pulled out a bunch of... well you know. It wasn't pretty, but he did cause our mom is on dialysis and backed up sewer is really unhealthy for her. We truly appreciate everything he did. Awesome service. If we ever need any type of plumbing or sewer service in the future. We won't hesitate to call them back.

Wonderful quality service. On a Sunday evening they responded within minutes by phone and here here in less than an hour to fix my problem before serious damage occurred. I have their number safely added to my address list and would not hesitate to call them again! Highly recommended.
The service was awesome. I was able to get a same day appointment and they called giving me updates as to when they would arrive. I was told around 2:15pm and that is exactly when they were here. The issues was diagnosed and fix within minutes.
I highly recommend Mr Rooter of Sacramento. I know I will use them again.

We kept having the same problem for years and plumbers were flushing the lines. Mr. Rooter wanted to camera the line to actually find the problem. They found it and is fixing it. They are very professional and pleasant to talk to. The staff are always courteous and helpful on the phone.
Started with 3 feet of drain pipe replacement to 38 to 42 feet on an old home. Cast iron pipes were shot. I get that, but 1 day shy of 4 weeks due to you are short staffed for a job you know is a huge one. We went with them thinking they understood our urgency due to the caring of our disabled Dad. No main bathroom for 4 weeks for 4 people using the master bathroom. After initial start of a 2 day job that started on a Friday, they were supposed to come back the following Wednesday and finish by Friday. Did not come back till Thursday. Not done on Friday. Was not done the following Friday, finally done the following Thursday. They do not repair the walls they have to get into, nor do they repair the bottom of the kitchen cabinet they cut.
Cemente slab they poured was rough and not even with original slab. We had to pay extra for prep to replace flooring, due to the unevenness of cement and it needing to be sanded. Then the flooring tech just poured leveler due to the sanding was taking to long. He did smooth out the tops. They cleaned out the cemente mixer on our front lawn and said it would not be a problem, it is just a little bit and it will run down the lawn, well no it did not nor was it a little bit. Still cleaning out cement and ricks out of our lawn.
Not happy this time around.
In my opinion do not take another job on until you get a previous job complete.

Chris with Mr Rooter arrived on-time, communicated clearly after diagnosing the issue with our drainage and presented different options to address our concerns. He was kind, humble and energetic. He clearly lives his work, solving problems and helping people feel comfortable in their homes. If he is the standard of their employees, I HIGHLY recommend Mr Rooter!
I have a hydronic heating system that needs repair. Mr. Rooter suggested that I need to have my water checked even though it is a closed loop system. I had the water tested. Even though the test showed that my water is fine (I talked to the lab tech who has 30yr experience) and my current softener/filter is doing its job Mr. Rooter said I needed a new fancy system to the tune of 7K!! Needless to say I did not trust them to fix my hydronic system.

Friendly fellows, showed me the actual what was not being the problem relieved my worry. Then cleared out the real misbehaving area gone in in short time.
DID NOT tell me to repipe the whole house without even having seen it like Bonny's guy tried to pull on us. Gave couple suggestions on avoiding the problem before it happens again.

What can I say about my experience with Mr. Rooter other than I highly recommend them as a choice for your plumbing needs. The dispatcher was super friendly and responsive. Worked with my schedule and was very pleasant while doing it. My technician team was Jacky and Dave who were very friendly and professional. Jacky and Dave diagnosed my repair quickly and repaired my shower with excellence. They even educated me on how to do some things with my shower. These guys are top notch. Without a doubt I would recommend these professionals.

Mr Rooter was called on rainy night to fix a problem with the water heater, it was not delivering hot water to the house. A part had gone out and needed replacing. The service man was able to fix the problem in 90 minutes and was on his way. Wow, I was grateful.
Recently I needed my tank water heater replaced. Mr Rooter was able to do the work in one day. The price was agreed upon before the work started. My experience has been positive. Thank you Mr Rooter.

We had two backed up toilets on a late Sunday evening. I called several Plumbers that advertise “24/7” service. Only one big named plumbers outfit answered but they could not help us until Monday morning. I finally received a callback from Tammie at Mr Rooter and she set me up with David but David was two calls away. David did arrive later that evening. He diagnosed the problem before he knocked in the door. He told me the problem, gave me a quote, and started to fix our drains. David is a pro and completed the job quickly. The next time this happens, I’m calling Mr Rooter first.

Had the best experience. Our shower / toilets backed up in both bathrooms on the Saturday night before the Super Bowl. This was the best rated place online. Very happy with the service l received. My main sewer line clogged and l found Mr. Rooter Plumbing on the intranet. It was late at night so l emailed them. A plumber was here early the next day. Keenon was very proffessional and fixed my issue. I was so happy with the service he provided I also had him come back the next day and fix a couple of other issues l had. Will definitely use them again if l need a plumber.
On the basis of just one call, I would give Mr. Rooter of Sacramento five stars for availability, responsiveness and thoroughness. As for quality of the work, it's far too soon to tell, so I offer no rating.

Hot water went out and was flooding our garage at a time when our family was having many people come over, and hot water was necessary. I called many plumbers who quoted a 1-2 week waiting period, I know this is not really an emergency in comparison to other issues, but it was something we needed done more urgently. Mr. Rooter came out within 24 hours and quoted us an issue with the fix, once we agreed on the quote, they were back at an agreed upon time to fix it. They were in and out, and broke down the costs and next steps efficiently. Would highly recommend Mr. Rooter for their professionalism and knowledge of systems.

Charged $245 for 15 minutes to unclog sink problem using video head to free grease clog in main line. Tech talked me into buying useless bio-chem treatment that he said would eat away grease, etc and prevent future problems. 3 months later, I had same clog, same problem. When I called them, they said no warranty, no discount. Blamed new problem on egg shells and bad disposal. Avoid these people!
Mr. Rooter is undoubtedly the finest plumbing company in the area. We had a Saturday night emergency. Our call was answered by a live human being. We were told that a plumber would arrive within 90 minutes. He arrived within 15 minutes. Jonah was courteous and provided options. The cost was fair. We are grateful to him and that we found a company that put the customer first. Our highest recommendation to Mr. Rooter

We used Mr. Rooter to help with installing 5 commercial toilets. They arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner and did a great job overall. We appreciate their ability to help us out in a timely manner. We will definitely be calling them in the future!

I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Sacramento during the Labor Day weekend on a Sunday, with extremely hot temperatures. They were open and the lady of the phone had a crew at my building within an hour. The sewer line was backed up on all four of the units. Bo arrived and told me about the back up and gave me a fair price. He unclogged and checked the complete sewer line. Thanks for being prompt, honest, and professional. I will definitely call them for my next job.

This was a very good experience. I will definitely use them again. They had there technician Marcus came out at 10:00 p.m. and he got the job done quickly and efficiently. He also had great customer service. Also the price is very reasonable. If I ever have a problem again I will be calling Mr. Rooted.

They charge one flat rate, no matter how long the job takes.
Joe was awesome!!! He was professional, friendly, fair, and timely. He gave me a detailed explanation of everything that was going on. He was very friendly and on top of the problem.
The employees on the phone were friendly, professional and organized. There was a little confusion about the appointment time because I’d called them late the night before, but the woman on the phone, the manager and Joe got it straightened out right away and I couldn’t ask for better service!
I’d definitely use Mr. Rooter again and I would definitely request Joe!!

Thank you Mr.rooter! I had a leak inside my walls, all over my living room and bathroom. They completed the job very fast. Found Mr.rooter on google read the reviews and decided to give them a call. I would definitely call them again, hopefully I don’t ever have to (fingers crossed) lol

I worked there, gave this company 8 years of my life then was fired without any real reason as to why. I gave this company my life, at times was able to make a decent wage but in the end I was thrown under the bus by the owner and manager. They won't admit I did so much for the company giving my weekends and holidays when the other technicians wanted to stay home with their families. After I was fired I brought forth a case for pay not received and they even denied me unemployment which fought and finally got. Many times I sent them to the labor board for back pay amounting to well over $30,000 but reluctantly settled for half and demanded it all even though they said it'd be given in installments quarterly.. I wish I had seen the truth when there seemed to be ownership changes and a large turnover which led to hiring unexperienced people. I being a fully trained plumber ( not a drain cleaner) was not treated fairly during my last 4 years. Yes I have since moved on to broaden my skillset and work for a real company doing both plumbing and HVAC. In the end, working for this company was actually a tax on my mental health and am glad to be away from the negative environment it produced
