they never showed up!!!!

Awful. I was told a part was needed for my faucet repair and it would be in a few days. I called every few days and was told the part was still not in and I would get a call in a few days multiple times. They NEVER call back. Two weeks later I called and they stated that a mistake was made and they put the wrong invoice number with my order. I was back at square one and I needed to pick out the part, WHICH THEY HAD THE WHOLE TIME. Very unprofessional.

I had an emergency leak at my home. Called Empire after hours and they dispatched someone right away. Very pleased with their efficiency.

Unprofessional - HUGE lack of Customer service
I am in the property management business and work with many luxury homes in the Miami Beach area. I called Empire plumbing to service one property for an emergency seems that my client had also booked a different company at the same time, however both plumbers showed up. I contacted Empire and told them they’re services were not needed response it was too late since technician was already at the property. “Ok that was my fault”, however if there was a fee that needed to be paid due to the service call we would have paid it, unfortunately no fee was charged to us. Moving forward I called empire plumbing to schedule a service with a different client assuring we will need there services, Receptionist or Phone operator answers the call and immediately says we are not providing services to you because our plumber was turned away once and IMMEDIATELY she hung up the phone on me. Gave me No chance of explanation. I can assure you that’s lack of customer service !! Guess what Empire Plumbing your loss. I Would not recommend this company to anyone !!!

Empire Plumbing stands out by being all down to business. I’m new to Miami Beach and was tasked by my landlord with finding a plumber to unclog the shower drain. I called several other companies only to get an answering machine, people who didn’t return calls, places that couldn’t give a quote over the phone, and one guy who got angry and raised the price to $700 when I said I was getting a quote for my landlord. I was relieved to find Empire Plumbing had a professional, pleasant-sounding person to answer right away, provide an estimate and send someone out that very afternoon. I got a call when the plumber arrived so I could let him in. He introduced himself as Michel, and got right to work. He finished quickly and politely provided me with a bill toward the lower side of the estimate. I recommend Empire Plumbing for charging reasonable rates, professional service, and realizing your time is valuable too.

I spent all day waiting for this company to deal with a sewage gas problem. The plumber arrives late and unprepared to do any work. Instead, he wanted me to wate another day waiting on them to do the job. This appointment was made on Thursday. The appointment was on Monday. I had already wasted enough time with them. I will use another company to fix the problem.

Very professional, they came to my place in 20 min just like they said, fixed leaking in half an hour, very clean and organized.

They do great work. The best in South Florida.

If i could give it no stars, I would. This business is a joke! They have come out to my unit a couple of times and every time they find an excuse to not complete the job. Rescheduling is also impossible with these people. Do yourself a favor and find someone else if you can. Don't bother wasting your time and money on them.

They came when they said they would.
They fixed a big problem in a minimally invasive way.
They charged a reasonable price.

I was very happy with the service provided by Empire plumbing. I needed a service at my home and Al gave me a great estimate that worked for me.The employees there are all super kind and you will be treated as a valued customer. I recommend them 100%.

I had a leak that was flooding apartment below me. I called Empire to come figure out the problem and give me an estimate to repair. They cake showed me where the leak was and told me I need to replace and leak. Was told they would send me an estimate. I had to chase them down at which after a week I got an estimate of $1500. We agreed and they came one day to fix the problem. And they did and I paid them. I told them I had a leak by toilet and they said valve was broken and needed to be replaced but I had to get building to turn off the water. I confirmed with them TWICE the day before work was scheduled as I had to get my building to shut down the ENTIRE building’s water off so they could work. They no showed and never called. When I called they said plumber called out sick and I could tell they forgot to schedule. HORRIBLE. So I googled plumber. And found AAA Plumbing. I called and spoke to Eli and explained the situation. He’s said he could be here in 2 hours. He shows up, did a great job and cost me less. This guy is the real deal. THANK YOU!!!

Terrible customer service. The receptionist hang up on me on the phone without giving me the time to explain her what I had to say. So unpolite and presumptuos. Don t call them

There’s so much to say, I could write a short story here. In a time when customer service isn’t really commonplace; this company takes it up past the top notch. From the first phone call and friendly voice on the line, things were great. Service was same day and within 2 hours of the call. The technician, Jorge was probably the nicest technician I’ve ever dealt with. He was friendly, he explained everything as he went, and the entire work area was cleaner when he left than it was before he arrived.

I know that we have a new plumber for as long as they are around. Thanks for the fantastic job.

I worked with a gentleman ,Phil, at Empire and could not have been more satisfied! When a hot water heater breaks, you need to get it replaced quickly. Empire gave me a great price - which included having to redo some plumbing - and they installed the new heater the day after the old one broke. The city inspectors came quite a few days later and we passed! You cannot ask for better service or pricing!

Absolutely terrible. I manage a number of properties for foreign clients and I remember having bad experiences with them some years ago not showing up or following up. I almost hesitated but then called first thing in the morning two days ago. Gave the information on the leak, the phone for a maintenance guy in the building, the contact info for the management office of the bldg and MY phone number with the express statement of keeping me updated. I just called to find out what the visit yielded yesterday....the girl that answers the phone hears my name and says....oh yes you were on my list to call, we tried the maintenance guy and he's not answering. I couldn't believe it since it's over 48hrs from my contact with them and coherence would dictate calling me if they can't get a response BEFORE the scheduled visit....and yet I had yet to receive a call 24 hours AFTER the scheduled visit.

I will NOT forget to NEVER call them again this time. It's 2016, and if not common sense/courtesy/just simple business etiquette, at least technology should keep this company diligent...but I guess that's too much to ask.

They do good work, but their front office administrators need work. They kept promising to email me copies of their license and insurance for my building's office manager, but they never did, despite my calling them everyday for a week.

This might be the first time a service employee in Miami has ever shown up on time. These guys were great - they arrived right when they said they would, and they were quick and professional - I will definitely hire them again.

Dealt with Carlos who is very knowledgeable and so friendly. Told me to call anytime even after hours because calls get forwarded to his cell phone. Very straight forward with costs and recommendations. Will use this company in the future for my rentals on Miami Beach.

I recently hired Empire Plumbing for a water heater installation in Miami, and I'm pleased with their service. The technicians were professional, arrived on time, and completed the installation efficiently. The water heater has been working perfectly since then. I'm deducting one star because the communication could have been a bit clearer regarding the pricing. Nonetheless, I would recommend Empire Plumbing for their reliable work.

Hired this company for a job. They showed up took one look and said they couldn’t fix the issue, took some photos and left. So I called another company and they came in that night, fixed one issue immediately without any need for tools and came back the next day and took care of everything else. Empire was just a waste of time.

I live in Miami Beach, we experienced a main stoppage over the weekend. I was easy to get a qualified plumber dispatch ... he arrived within 1 hour. The plumber Guillermo was very efficient he checked both toilets and tub for symptoms and then got to work. He was able to run the sewer machine from a clean out and left everything back in order. Thanks Empire we can always count on you for our service needs.

All work was accomplished in a professional manner and in a most timely manner. I was under the gun to sell the house and a last minute problem was discovered. Empire jumped on it and I made the closing date. Champagne and chocolates go out figuratively to all concerned.

Simply put: they suck. They won't show up--not only not in the time window they offer. They don't show up at all. Or call. Don't give them your money.

A double treat: unqualified plumbers and management that does not honor their own warranty. Empire's plumber came to fix a leaking garbage disposer (which was new and just installed by a different company). The plumber said that the leak is due to wrong putty being used. He fitted correct putty and after charging $175 (! which I negotiated down from $220), promised that it would not leak for many years. 11 months later, the disposer is leaking again, which had ruined my kitchen cabinet and floor. Here is a recap of my conversations with Empire's manager - Yajaira Soto. 1. Yajaira: We never did the work. Show us the invoice. 2. I sent the invoice. Yajaira after receiving the invoice: It is not our invoice. I don't know where you got it. We can come and fix the leak but will charge you because the warranty expired. 3. Me: How long is your warranty? Yajaira: 1 year. Me: It has not been a year yet. Yajaira: We cannot help you. and on and on...
Mold problems, frustrations, ruined cabinet and flooring, and $175 out of pocket for all these pleasantries. I absolutely recommend for you to use Empire Plumbing if you wish to receive the same treatment.

I did a huge job with them a few years ago. Over 20 thousand dollars worth. They did a great job...... Fast forward to today. I've been calling them for over 5 months for a quote and then NEVER return calls or emails.

I remind them that I paid them over 20k in the past and that everything went well. The owner was inviting my wife and I over for a bbq. We had NO problems.

Fast forward to today, NO ONE will talk to me AT ALL. I spoke with the book keeper, she promised she would find out why no one is calling, she never called back.

I called her back over a week later, she said she didn't call because there was no reason to! She had no information on why no one would get back to me, so she though the best course of action was to ignore me.

I'm blown away by the UN-professional attitude they have now. The owner won't even return my emails. There's always time for that no matter how busy someone is.

I really thought my 20 grand would buy me come credibility with them. NOPE, I'm just another person they don't want to take any time out for.

BTW, The job I wanted them to do was bigger than the first. If that kind of money doesn't motivate a small contractor, nothing will.

Phil and his father Al run a great business. Empire plumbing is well established and always take pride in their work and most of all they are professional and dependable. I would not hesitate to call them for any plumbing issues! JoeT

In my first interaction with them, I scheduled 2 days in advance to fix a problem & they never showed. When I called, they told me they thought it was for tomorrow and stated that they would send a plumber out in 1/2 hour. Nobody showed again.

In my second interaction with them I paid $ 150.00 for a site survey so they could quote redoing my entire home plumbing system. I never got the quote.

1.) Didn't show for initial appointment. 2.) part ordered never followed up with me. I have called at least 6 x (been 5 weeks waiting so far) I am always told it is on order and they are checking on it and will call me back to give me an update. I have NOT received one return call from them. Gihada (supposedly the manager) said the faucet was generic and thus needed a special part that takes longer. I don't think she knows what generic means. 3) need training on customer service and professionalism -this has been a horrible experience just to fix a simple faucet. I can't imagine what it would be like in a plumbing emergency. I will definitely be going elsewhere.

1). An hour and 45 minutes.
2). Repaired shower head using a wrench that caused deep scratches and indentation
3). Randomly increased the price. Was quoted 1 price and called an paid it was more.
4).Manager assessed the damage and said it would be fixed.
5). Comes back through gated property (let himself in?) and yells saying he's guys didn't cause the damage

Unprofessional and horrible experience. Lack of accountability. Lack of responsibility. Lack of veracity. Disrespectful. Explains after 36 years they couldn't even be accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

You set up an appointment and 6 hs later they don't even know if they are gonna make it. They were supposed to call you back and if you don't call them you would never know what's going on. Horrible experience. They need more competitors in South Beach to be serious.

I have used Empire for years, they are the best, most reliable company I have used. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and actually seeing his team work. It was almost time to close when I arrived at Empire and I got to see and meet many of the employees leaving. I entered the building and were greeted by two lovely sisters that work there together and a few staff that had not left yet. As I was there the owner got a late call from someone really in need. He called out to his staff and they all worked together to take care of this client. That is what I call TEAM WORK, and that is why I use Empire. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I had the hot water heater replaced at my condo on Monday morning. The plumbers arrived early and were very courteous and professional. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I've ever worked with! Called them out to a property on a Thursday. The technician went out and never contacted us (property managers) or the tenant regarding what the issue was. Called the office on Friday and the rude receptionist told me she couldn't provide me with any information until the tech turned in his invoice.

Invoice FOR WHAT??? Today is Monday (4 days after his visit) and they still won't provide us with any information. I have never heard of a vendor going out to a property and failing to contact their client with a diagnosis of the problem! How hard is it to report whether or not a new water heater is needed? Don't ever call this company in case of a plumbing emergency. They'll never get back to you and the staff is super unprofessional!
