Kostas and Richard came out first thing in the morning to fix two leaking hot water heaters. They replaced the old tanks with gorgeous tankless heaters. The men were kind, courteous, and professional, and they did a fabulous job with our new install! When they cleaned up, there wasn't a single thing left behind. They are AWESOME! HIGHLY recommend ZEST PLUMBING. Will 100% use them again. Thank you, Don, for checking on the work at the end. Your guys are THE BEST!

We are so thankful that Dalton from
Zest showed up to our house within 30 minutes of calling! It wasn’t an emergency but our water heater had been leaking and we wanted it fixed before Christmas.

We had called and received quotes from other plumbers the night before and most of them were $1800-1900 and weren’t sure if we could get it done before Christmas! Zest was a bit higher with their quote but discounted to be competitive and we accepted since the water heater was already on their truck and ready to install.

Dalton was super helpful and never was pushy with sales, he even tested our water softener since we were wondering how it was functioning. He worked quickly and did a better job than previous owner’s plumber with installation. We were very happy to have our issue quickly resolved within hours and would definitely recommend. Here’s to hoping this RUUD will last longer! ??

Our kitchen drain started to clogged since last week so we called Zest. Steve and Cody came out this morning on time. They are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and they did a great job with the drain cleaning! The price is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended! Your guys are THE BEST!

Mike came out to service my toilet that wasn’t working properly. He was knowledgeable, and he did the job quickly, and helped me price things out so it was also cost effective as well! I highly recommend Zest, and they were one of the only companies that offered to come out and provide a “free” estimate. It’s nice that there’s great companies that are still in existence. 5 star experience! Our main sewage line was 100% blocked outside the house. Zest had a team out within a few hours, identified the issue, and got us back on-line same day. Steven Griffith was our tech and he was incredible! Professional staff and great service from everyone! They’ll be my go-to plumbing crew from now on.

We called Zest last evening when we noticed our water heater had a serious leak. Caesar Lazcano arrived arrived this morning provided us with excellent service. Installed a new water heater and resolved a couple of minor plumbing issues while he was here. He was professional and courteous and we were very happy with the work he did for us.

Dalton was extremely honest, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, meticulously thorough and professional. He installed a new hot water heater with drip tray. Dalton also plumbed a new outdoor water pressure regulator with 2 new hose bibs; one for soft water (for car washing) & the one for hard ground/landscape or garden watering.

I called this morning and had Mike at my place at 2pm! He was able to diagnose the issues quickly and replaced the components in a timely manner. He went above and beyond by hooking up the bidet I tried installing when I noticed the problems with the toilet. I hope not to have to get them out here again soon, but will be using Zest from now on for my plumbing needs.

Len was so helpful and knowledgeable. I had an issue with the water heater and he explained it all to me. He was so great! He even took the time to show me where all the shut off switches were in case I needed it someday.

We had a sudden failure of a valve. I was able to cut the water to the leak, so it wasn't an immediate emergency. Called Zest, they were able to get me in next morning. Paul arrived on time, reviewed the issue, and fixed it promptly and quickly. He also answered questions I had about my softener, programmed the machine and tested my water! I was extremely pleased with the work quality, the professionalism, and the timeliness. I would use them again no question, and recommend them to all.

Technician arrived Friday morning, had not reviewed details I uploaded at their request. Made an assessment that special parts needed to be ordered and a major repair would be involved - toilet removal and all parts replaced. Promised that a quote would be presented by end of day or at very latest, by following Monday. I’m now at one week later afterwards and still no quote. I did my own ‘youtube’ analysis and all that is required is a $10 replacement gasket. These guys are dishonest and unreliable. Look elsewhere.

Shawn did a sewer inspection and checked out the water heater for us on a house we were considering buying. Shawn was very courteous, professional, and honest. Shawn helped us to make an informed decision and we are very grateful for his honesty and expertise.

Buyer BEWARE, I had Zest Plumbing and Drain come out for a bath tub faucet which wouldn’t turn off. Signed off on the initial quote of $383 to repair and part costs. Upon return of picking up required parts the technician informed me it was another $483 to reinstall!!! Huh, what are you talking about? Well BUyER BEWARE what you are SIGNING up front

Had a failed water heater that was pouring water out of the bottom of the tank. I called Affordable Plumbing and they had Curtis come out that afternoon when he was finished up with his call (on a Saturday)!
After inquiring about a tankless option, Curtis passed on some knowledge and encouraged me to do some research on it. My wife and I agreed that the tankless water heater was right for our family and we asked to have Curtis return and install it.
I was very impressed by the workmanship of Curtis with the entire install and fit of the tankless heater. He did a fantastic job and I'm truly thankful of his work ethic. After a week of having the Navien tankless water heater running, my family and I are very happy with the consistency, time it takes for hot water and overall operation of the unit.

Paul was extremely professional and thorough. The Hydro jet was not performed but was included in the quote I paid. I was assured that Shawn the drain manager would complete it the next day. I will follow up if not it is not resolved.

Outstanding job. Wasn’t cheap but replaced a failed recirculating pump and corrected a number of things that were done incorrectly when my water heater was installed. Will use again.

We’ve been consistently using this company for the past 3 years as we have been completing renovations in our home. On one occasion, even the owner came out and got his hands dirty installing a gas line for us. It’s great to see the owner is willing to get involved in doing the work to ensure such high quality.

Mike was great. He was professional, courteous, thorough and so pleasant to work with. I sometimes get nervous with repairmen in my home, but totally opposite with Mike. Getting my old water heater out was extremely difficult but Mike didn't give up and got it out without any mess or damage. Not only do I have a new water heater but he cleaned up the mess left by previous workers and caulked and secured the area perfectly. I was extremely happy with the finished product and Mike's professialism.

First time with Zest. Made an appointment online and a tech was able to come out the same day! Really great how they provide free estimates for everything so you know what you’re getting into. Dalton was very friendly and knowledgeable with our small fridge issue. He fixed everything quickly and answered all of our questions before leaving. Our first experience with Ben was amazing! And when we ran into a small issue today Ronnie came to the rescue! These guys are always nice and I never feel like they are out to take advantage. Today was an easy fix and didn’t cost us anything. Glad we gave them!

Mike from Zest Plumbing arrived on onsite & on time to replace my garage disposal. While performing the repair Mike also discovered the kitchen faucet was loose, but after further review, I needed to replace. Mike said he had time so I was able to get a new faucet installed during this appointment. While at my home I asked him to check one last item as I heard a sound coming from the guest bathroom faucet. Mike quickly discovered it was coming from inside the wall and had to open up the wall. He discovered a nail from the baseboard had pierced the hot water pipe. He quickly repair the pipe. I’m thankful Mike was onsite and had the time to complete the additional repairs. This company is a scammer. I needed a water softener installed in a brand new home. Literally all that was needed was installing 2 fittings and running 2 hoses. The proposed doing hundreds of dollars of unneeded work--extra valves, outlets, etc., as part their proposal. It was a scam to try to take advantage of someone they assumed was naive and would accept their ridiculous proposal. Shame on them! Get your job done by a company that doesn't try to cheat customers with unnecessary extras to drive up the price! ANOTHER COMPANY IS DOING THE JOB FOR LESS THAN HALF THEIR PRICE.

Zest employs true professionals. First, Cesar came out to address our concerns and make recommendations. He was very polite and professional -- explaining things in plain English. He presented us with some options, gave his recommendations, and we bought. Two days later, Paris came by to install new toilets, correct something with our water softener (installed by somebody else), and run a camera through our pipes. Paris was also VERY kind and professional and took his time explaining and confirming everything he did. Again, I'm VERY impressed with the PEOPLE and SERVICE at Zest and would highly recommend them.

I felt he was attentive and helpful. I have a water softener that needed attention, apparently I’m suppose to add salt to it ? and the pressure was 108 and should be 80 so we got that replaced. I would use them again. And recommend them to friends and family.

Punctual, did a great job replacing 2 water shutoff valves under the sink. Completed the work before the appliance repair people came. Price was as estimated even though he had to replace a portion of the plumbing unrelated to the original job.

We recently added a new guest room to our home and decided after construction was completed that we wanted to also add a new sink. The problem was that we needed the drain and water lines to be ran to the room. We called Zest and our plumber, Paris, came to our home and did an outstanding job. Paris is very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to put a new drain at the location by connecting to the existing drain inside of the wall and he ran new water lines for the faucet. Paris did a great job of explaining exactly what he will be doing before he got started and cleaned up his work area prior to leaving. We are very pleased with the result and we now have a new sink in a room that previously did not have a sink. We are impressed with Zest!

They get 2 stars on value. The pricing is nothing less than shocking. I thought I was on candid camera when they showed me the pricing on the iPad. $2500 for new water heater, $310 for a plastic pan and $940 for a pressure valve. According to them it’s very competitive with quality plumbers but in reality it’s 2-3x.

Our water heater began leaking on Easter. We left messages with several plumbing companies and Zest was the first one to return our call that same day. The scheduler was so friendly and had a technician scheduled for the following day. Richard arrived on time. He was knowledgeable and even made a few recommendations to save wear and tear on our existing plumbing. He was not a salesman but made us aware of options to prevent future problems. He did a fantastic job of installing the new water heater. He was meticulous, protected our floors while swapping out the water heater, and cleaned up at the end. Good plumber. Technically very qualified. Only issue is their price. I think they started their prices high and then would come down if you questioned the price. I had another plumber complete additional work because the second plumber’s price was more reasonable. As I said, Affordable/Zest are technically very good, I just question their pricing.

We had a nasty plumbing emergency at our new rental home and called Zest immediately. Brandon showed up as fast as he could to help resolve our issue. While he was servicing our home, he educated us on what the cause might be, gave us recommendations on how to prevent the issue, and recommended other services that were relevant to the problem we incurred. I will definitely use Zest again when I’m in need of a plumber. The response time was quick, the technician was professional, and the experience was as pleasant as it could be given the circumstances.

The main waterline to my house was leaking. Richard from Zest Plumbing had the pipe repaired and water turned back on three hours after my call to Zest. I was very happy and very impressed it was fixed so fast since I live out of town. Richard was very professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and polite. I will be asking for Richard next time I have a plumbing issue that needs professional service.

Zest was amazing! I’ve had other companies in the valley come out to look at my sink replacement and all over quoted me and definitely didn’t want to do the work. Zest is an awesome plumbing company! The technician, Brandon arrived on time, introduced himself, and listened to our concerns only to find out that no repair was needed and it was our own misunderstanding of how the faucet works (we just moved into a new apartment). All that and there was no service charge for the visit. I'd recommend these guys any time of the day or night, again they are awesome!

Almost hit in the parking lot by a driver that ran a stopsign. Not very professional at all. If this is the way they drive God help your plumbing problem.

I have unfortunately had many bad experiences with plumbers who were not trained, didn't understand what the problem actually was, and even attempted to lure me into fraudulent insurance scams. My experience with Zest plumbing was the exact opposite in all these respects. They will be taking care of all my future needs.

We had a slab leak and the first company wanted to just jack hammer up the slab and start looking. Caesar came out from Zest and was here two hours and quite meticulous to ensure even at the city inlet meter there was a slow leak. Ours wasn't consistent and he took the time to reproduce and be 100% sure where it came from. 2 days later Zest were back and did a reroute to that portion of the house. Professionally done, meticulous in getting it complete and were thorough.

Their scheduling process is always fast and you get updates, tracking of the plumber on a map in route, pictures of all the work, etc.

We've had several poor (or worse) plumbers since living here, but finally glad found someone we can trust.

I tried so many plumbers before getting Zest. Most didn't answer the phone; some had websites that were broken, and I even had one plumber answer the phone and tell me he couldn't talk. (The joke being, why did he answer the phone if he couldn't talk?)

Our water heater went out so we booked an appointment with Zest to diagnose the problem. Brandon was awesome! He got here right on time and was super thorough with what was wrong and what our options were from repairing it to getting a new water heater altogether. After weighing the costs of the repairs with the cost of the new system, we ended up just going with a new water heater as well as a water softening system! Would definitely recommend to request Brandon if you can get him!

Zest was recommended by a neighbor and they came out to assess my slab leak situation. We're prompt in describing their approach to rerout the pipes and didn't scare me into thinking my entire house needed to be repiped. First of all, I am grateful that your company responded so quickly. The technician who detected and worked on my leaking pipe was such a hard worker and he was so polite and conscientious. The job ended up taking longer than at first anticipated, and Paris was unnecessarily apologetic (it wasn't his fault) and he kept working even though there was an approaching storm. He finally stopped around 9:30pm, but he was back very early the next morning to finish the repair. And he did a great job of cleaning the worksite and the end. Len , showed honesty and integrity when coming to check my waste line for leaks. Another competitor lied to me saying I had a root intrusion in the line to get me hire them to tear up my bathroom for a $4K problem that did not exist.

We had a MAJOR main line sewer issue... every drain in our house was backing up. We were panicing! Zest got a plumber out to us the very same day. Diane answered our call. She is a gem... she is empathetic and immediately helped us feel at ease. Cesar showed up at our house to evaluate. Cesar was a breath of fresh air. Positive, assuring and easy to talk to. Though he could not fully address our issue that day, he promised to be back the very next business day. He kept in contact with us and was here exactly when he said he would be. Once the issue was diagnosed, he was honest about pricing and extra potential issues (Orangeburg w/ cast iron hookup... 1959 house). We had a camping trip planned the same week. What could have been a long process... Cesar promised to do the same week and in ONE day (excavation, new sewer line and all), so we could still make our camping trip.They 100% delivered on every promised that was made. The whole experience was awesome! Ron answered the phone & made an appointment right away because the carpet in the guest bathroom was wet. We suspected a slab leak or condensation moisture coming from the A/C. Didn't know which & needed to know. Richard our technician was knowledgeable & provided the answer right away. He checked the water meter & it didn't move so that meant no slab leak. He did look inside the A/C unit & discovered the source of the leak - condensation from a clogged line. Will need to call an A/C repair person. Richard is so honest. He didn't charge for leak detection since he didn't perform that service. He said No charge. Put the money towards the A/C repair you will need. This company is unique in that it is run based on the principle of honesty. That's how you build a good reputation & loyal customers. As a new customer with Affordable Plumbing, I had an emergency that arose as my Old Water Heat Blew out from the bottom causing leaking all over, We called and spoke to Ron whom then scheduled Ben Thomas to come out and replace the 50 Gal Gas Water Heater. Curtis diagnosed the leak immediately and did an outstanding repair. The only downside I would comment on is the price was just a little high for the 1/2 hour repair. Richard from Affordable Plumbing was amazing! We just moved into our house and immediately after our pipes failed and we had to completely replace them. He came to our house and diagnosed the issue and had a couple of solutions for us. The day after we made the decision to replace all of our lines they got to work! It only took them 3 days and every single day he cleaned up after himself. They did great work and Richard was so great to work with. He was knowledgeable and helpful as this was all very new to us. Diana was also great to work with at the office! They are a very well oiled machine.

I had a water softener in my garage fail while I was out of town. My neighbors shut off the water, and Affordable Plumbing was able to get technician Bill Hart out the next day. I was able to give Bill the access he needed and he removed the old water softener and installed a bypass, all while I was not there. Professional, high quality service. Zest Plumbing (used to be Affordable plumbing) came out and did the work on time, professional, for the price they quoted, and cleaned up after themselves. We had a leak under the kitchen sink due to a hole in the MOEN faucet cable. Richard who has helped us before, took the time to find leak, find the correct faucet cable, and install it to make sure it worked. He gave us the option to wait for the free MOEN replacement as well. Considering the affordable price we went ahead with the replacement ourselves. I would use them again.

I called Zest due to what I thought was a leak in the wall of my shower. The person who answered the phone (Debbie?) asked how she could make me smile today and I said you already did by being the only plumber to answer my call.

Paris Weds dispatched and arrived to my home within one hour. He spent a good amount of time diagnosing the leak and concluded it was caused by cracked grout and not a leak in the wall which was a relief.

Since Paris was already at the house and going such a great job I had him change out the cartridge in the multivalve shower faucet and install a recirculating pump. He got that work done in no time.

Successful project completion update -- Richard worked hard for two days and completely fixed our main water line leak. We’ve used Affordable Plumbing with good experiences in the past, and today was the same. We need to replace a laundry room faucet and there was no charge to come out, test water softener and pressure as well as give options to replace. Very quick and overall pleasant (given the fact we have a plumbing issue) and will choose a faucet to have them install. Overall, we highly recommend this company.

*** UPDATE! Needed emergency service for a busted water heater. I came home from walking my dog in the early evening and heard an odd noise; running water but I did not have any appliances on and no fixtures used. Discovered water all over the laundry room floor. Wanted repair of water heater purchased from them. Repair showed with no promised heads up call, guy comes in and demands I get a new water heater with no reason why. When I asked for reason he got defensive and pushy. When I asked price of water heater 3 times he wouldn’t give it and just gave adders to disadvantaged homeowner. When informed I was going to get an additional estimate, he turned, laughed, and peeled out in van when leaving. MOST unprofessional and I don’t trust them!!!

The plumber and supervisor came on time. And understood the problem which was actually with the pipes of the solar system. They respectfully declined because it is not their area of working. There was no charge for the visit. However, they were very professional. I would get them in a heart beat for a plumbing problem. It was like a 5 star service.

We had water coming up in a small area of the kitchen. I called Zest plumbing to schedule an appointment and they gave me a 2 hour window for a repair technician to come on the same day.
Our technician Cezar was polite and looked for any obvious signs of a leak.
He wasn’t able to diagnose the problem and arranged for a technician from a leak repair company, Artisan Leak Detection to come back and find the leak.
There was no charge for Cezar to come to the house and look for the leak. That in itself was amazing.
The phone staff, Dianna and another very nice and friendly woman kept me up to date if Cezar was going to be delayed.
The leak turned out to be the water line to our refrigerator. That was a huge relief.

Cezar came back a few days later and changed out the water line and put in a shut off valve under the kitchen sink in case we would need to shut off the water at a future date.

Cezar cleaned the floor where he worked and also wiped up any water under the sink.

He was cheerful and professional and got the water line stapled to the baseboard so that it could not be seen.

I made him one of my “amazing “ breakfast burritos… because he was so nice.
( I haven’t done THAT before)

I highly recommend this company. 1) Easy to get a tech out quickly and on my schedule. 2) The “window of arrival time” for each appointment is only 2 hours! I can’t remember the last time my choice wasn’t “would you prefer 8-12 or 12-4?” 3) They said I would receive a text and the tech would arrive between 15 and 30 minutes after that. And he did! And the tech had a picture of my tech with his name for verification in case someone fees concerned about that. 4) Benjamin was awesome. He was fast, competent, professional, had great people skills, and got the gas leak in our built-in grill fixed in less than 30 minutes. He educated us a bit, too, on a safer set up for that grill. 5) I didn’t compare cost but felt it was reasonable. I can’t speak to the comparability of it. The wrong connectors had been used to hook up our grill, so it was leaking. He had to check other places to make sure that was the only source. So with diagnosis, parts, and labor it was $195. As my oldest son would say, don’t knock him just because he is the child who can get his chores done the fastest. :) Some people might read this and say $400/hour! That’s expensive!!! A tech who walked slowly from my yard to his truck may have stretch the same job out and charged the same price. Benjamin is a hustler! Thank you!

Great Company to work with. My water softener was had a small leak. I called Zest and they had a technician at my home within the hour. He repaired the leak and checked out the system. This was a major repair... and I am 90 years old. My daughter called her friend Nathan and he recommended affordable plumbing/emergency plumbing. My galvanized pipe had cracked underneath the floor in my kitchen. Larry came out gave me an estimate and talk with my homeowners insurance which denied my claim, however, Larry gave me a great deal. He Replaced the pipe and sealed the hole in my kitchen floor, good as new! He left my place clean.

We had an out-of-this-world experience with Affordable Plumbing! Ben arrived right on time and not only fixed our emergency plumbing problem (broken quarter-turn valve spraying water under sink), he pointed out that our sink wasn't properly sealed around the granite and ensured we got that taken care of. This solved a problem we didn't even realize we had with slow moisture buildup in the under-sink cabinetry. The owner, John, even called to follow up that all went well. Affordable plumbing is the best. We are landlords and we just discovered this company recently.
We have used them 3 times now and our experience has been great each time. The owner, Ron, has put together a company that is 100% focused on customer service and trust.
Both of the technicians, Curtis and Ben, have been great. They are professional, courteous and capable.
The name is also very appropriate. Their charges are very reasonable and you know what you are going to pay before they start the work.
As landlords, we have been disappointed with many other plumbers. But Affordable plumbing will continue to be our go to company for as long as we own rental properties.
Do yourself a favor and call these guys next time you need a plumber.

What a great company and experience. I came home from work and showered and my shower would not shut off. I called some companies in the afternoon and no one could come out for same day service. I reached out to this company because it said it was 24 hours and was met with a friendly voice. I explained my situation and she said let me call my technicians and she will reach back with me. 2 minutes later I received a call stating bill was on his way. 20 minutes later bill came in, assessed the problem, said he could fix it at a very reasonable cost. He had my shower working in less than an hour. He was very friendly and kind. I have found my go to company for plumbing repairs. Thanks for you help. I will spread the word.

Our water heater went out on a Friday and I called Affordable Plumbing to see what their schedule was. They were able to schedule a visit on Saturday between 12:30 and 2:30. Ben called that morning and said that he could make it out earlier and he did. His work and advice were professional and timely. I needed a water heater replaced. I got estimates from three companies. Affordable Plumbing was the most competitive. The plumber came out when scheduled and got it done in about an hour. Our water heater was 16 years old and needed replacing. We conveniently scheduled Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heater on-line. Ben our plumber came out and reviewed the options we had and provided us a quote for the work. We agreed to the scope of work and replacement water heater. He promptly, left and returned with our new water heater and fittings. He removed and installed our new water heater. He did a great job cleaning up after himself. An affordable,professional and personable plumber repaired my leaking faucet. He replaced the other faucet as well since it was of the same brand and age. The shower faucets were original from 1962,which made it a bit of a challenge to find a proper replacement. He located and installed them in a surprisingly short time. I appreciated their knowledge on plumbing products and their concern to repair the issue while keeping my bill reasonable. I highly recommend them. I just hope they won't be flooded with so many customers they can't fit me in the schedule!

I can’t say enough good things about this company & plumber, Ben. We needed a plumber to assist with our guest bath renovation. Ben came highly recommended by a neighbor and so we called. Happily, he not only met our needs, he exceeded them. He brought in-depth experience and expertise to the job and he was punctual and pleasant. He talked us through our options and offered information to assist our decisions. His charges were disclosed up front, and he even came in under his quote. I was referred to Affordable Plumbing through my home warranty for a running toilet. They contacted me promptly and their service was professional. They provided me a 2 hr. time frame of when they would arrive and were on schedule. They also called me ahead of time to let me know that they were on their way so that I could leave work to meet them. Affordable Plumbing and their technician Curtis has helped me with several plumbing repairs (new valves, install sink drains, etc) needed at my 30-year old property all at reasonable prices, and always the same day I call or within a day, very accommodative. It is nice to know there is a company you can trust located close by who you can call to help for lifes unexpected plumbing surprises... especially since they seem crop up at the most imperfect of times. I will likely need a few more bigger ticket items like a water softener or water heater within the next few years...I will turn to this company without hesitation.

Wow! We have finally found a plumbing company we trust. We smelled a propane leak in our gas fireplace and found a water heater leak at the same time. I called Affordable because of their good reviews and they sent Ben out that same day. Ben worked the propane leak issue from every angle and was very knowledgeable. He was able to identify the general area of the gas leak and cap it. He then gave us a very good bid to replace the water heater with a tankless unit. We had several companies bid it out. Ben and Affordable was our favorite. He was meticulous and thoughtful. I felt he had our best interest at heart. His knowledge was very impressive. He brought one of the owners out to watch on the tankless heater install and he was also great. Everything about Affordable was impressive from the owner, the AMAZING TECHNICIAN BEN, their trucks and their support people at the office. I don't think I can or will use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

We were having our kitchen remodeled and our contractor recommended that we get the drain snaked and consider replacing the galvanized pipe behind the sink. I called Affordable Plumbing and they were amazing! They sent someone out that same day and after looking at the pipe, he agreed that it needed replaced and also offered to extend it a bit to allow for easier installation of the new sink. He replaced the pipe, snaked the line and put in an access point so that if we ever had to snake the line again, we won't have to cut through the new cabinets and move the dishwasher! Best experience EVER with a plumber and the price was fair for the work that needed to be done. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs and will recommend them to anyone!

We had our hot water heater go out which was caused by a slow slab leak that then turned into a large slab leak.

I explained the details of what I knew about the problems I had, and Ben explained in detail his thoughts, approx. cost and what actions needed to be taken for us to remedy the problem. We got a second opinion to make sure we weren't getting taken advantage of, even though we really liked how professional and educated that Ben sounded. Everything was diagnosed correctly, and we went with Ben and this company because they were very cost effective and very friendly. I watched, and Ben explained to me the steps he was doing, and why he was doing certain things. Not only did Ben explain details, but he was very clean and friendly to talk with!

This guy, Curtis Stratman from Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heaters, tried to replaced and installed my water heater but he was unsuccessful. I am not happy and not satisfied with his performance and this company because he was not honest with me before he replaced my old unit with a new one that I he can not turn on and attached my water heater because I do not have a ground wire for it. Eventhough my old water heater was working just fine, I wanted it replace with a new one before it leaks. He should have told me while he was trying to haul away my old unit that i have this problem before installing a new water heater. After he reattached my kitchen closet door and its molding, he told me this issue about not having a ground wire for water heater so he can not turn on the unit. And my kitchen faucet is not working because he was trying to install the new water heate. Somehow he had to deal with my kitchen sink to install my water heater and so my kitchen faucet was not working on a Saturday morning together with my water heater. He told me all these problems on the last minute when I am about to take a shower so I can go to work in the afternoon. He told me that this was good information and these issues were brought to my attention before it cause more troubles. Now I spent $999 on a water heater, $150 on a kitchen faucet installation, $90+ on kitchen faucet, $2800+ for the electrician for the ground wire. All these expenses just because Curtis did not inform me about ground wire issue before attaching the new water heater. And it took to more days before the new water heater was turned on because the electrician was busy with his other customer. What would you feel if you were in my situation? What would you do in my situation in a Saturday morning about to go to work?

Affordable Plumbing is a great company and Ben was a very helpful technician. The reason I had them out was because the people at Lowes who were installing my new Dryer (with a steam connection) said that my main water valve wasn't functioning properly. Ben came out to make sure that is was working and everything was fine. The Lowes installer didn't drain the lines from the house properly before disconnecting the water lines. While Affordable Plumbing tech Ben was at my house I had him give me a few quotes on a Tankless Water Heater and Softner because I will be doing business with them in the future for sure.

I have a warranty service, but they couldn’t get there until Monday and my tenant had a party over the weekend. I called Zest and they had someone out within 2 hours and fixed the problem. Thank you.

The master bath water heater was sending signals that the time for replacement was imminent. After much research and questioning of plumbers, I decided on Affordable Plumbing. I have not been disappointed. Ron was punctual and did a neat installation. He installed a drain pan which was missing from the previous tank and routed the drain pipe out the wall and sealed it with caulk. He replaced the hot and cold water lines, the shut off valve and tied the flue pipe into the HVAC flue with the appropriate upward slope. At my request, he also looked over the placement of the other water tank and opined that when that goes he will be able to get a new tank into what is a very tight space. No doubt that I will use him again.

i had an excellent experience with affordable plumbing. We have an 80 unit apartment complex that had the gas shut down for the hot water to all the tenants due to a gas leak. I had a leaking water heater and called for a quote. They had someone come out a few hours later to swap the unit out.

Had a toy stuck in the bathtub drain and they sent a technician out and he explained it was rather easy to get out we just needed the right tools and gave us the option to do it ourselves or pay him to retrieve it.. after 30 minutes we got the toy out ourselves. Highly recommend this company as the technician was super cool and informative without charging us for his expertise

The worst experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. I called for 2 toilets and a clogged sink. 1 toilet needed new flapper quoted -$75. Other toilet quoted $479 for total rebuild . Clogged sink quoted $179. I said just fix the one toilet for $75. The plumber guy said that is not worth me coming out here so I have to make more money or I will not change flapper, so what about if I do the sink and toilet flapper for $200. They should change the name of company to Let's Make A Deal

I called them to replace a leaking water heater that was still under warrenty, even though they had not been the original installer. They quoted (and stuck with) the charge for installation, and handled all the processes of verifying the warranty replacement. Fast, friendly and efficient.

The true test of a company is how they handle problems that arise when something is done unsatisfactorily. We have spent in excess of 10k with affordable on a variety of issues including two external gas line leaks. In the course of our dealings we discovered things that needed updating and replacing and one of the items was our 75 gallon water heater. After a lot of discussion, Ben and I decided a tankless system (although almost 4k) was going to be the most reliable and trouble free. The old tank was removed and the new system installed with an immediate problem with the gas valves in the attic. According to Affordable the $200 piece needed to be replaced which we agreed to. Well then after some time waiting for the part, then waiting for the schedule to clear the part was installed but the system still did not work properly and did not get hot water to our kitchen sink instantly as promised. Ben and Ron came out and spent several hours, Ben was on the phone with Navien and at the end nothing improved. Now Affordable is claiming we need an inline system (approx $1,500 more at least) which should have been advised/diagnosed at the very beginning, not after the fact. Ben is a great guy and isn't shy to inform you that he has been a plumber for some 25 years and has installed dozens of these systems. We have suggested that either Affordable removes the system and replaces it with a 75 gallon water heater or adds the inline system at no additional cost to us as we are at approx 4k for the system. So far they have stated they are unwilling to do this and have refused to take any responsibility for the problem or stand behind the product and installation.
We have scheduled a Navien rep to come out (10 days from now) and assess the issue but to date Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heaters has not given us any assurances they will do the right thing and make us happy. We will update our review according to how they handle the matter going forward.
3-30-18 The owner of Affordable Ron Degner came to our house with the Navien rep and concluded the system is working properly.
CUSTOMERS BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING A VERY EXPENSIVE TANKLESS WATER SYSTEM THAT YOU MAKE SURE YOUR HOUSE IS PLUMED PROPERLY FOR IT. THIS STEP WAS MISSED PRIOR TO SELLING US THE SYSTEM AND IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD. THERE HAS BEEN ZERO IMPROVEMENT IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO GET HOT WATER TO OUR KITCHEN SINK. AFFORDABLE PLUMBING (which by the way is no cheaper than anyone else) REFUSES TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION THAT IS SATISFACTORY TO US. THEY CLAIM TO BE STAND UP AND TO STAND BEHIND THEIR SERVICE BUT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT FROM THEM. BUYER BEWARE. Unfortunately we have no other choice but to file a complaint with the ROC and sue Affordable for misrepresentation. Ron stated he is willing to handle this in court rather than do the right thing and fix the problem at his expense.

I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing. They were very timely and professional. Ben was excellent and did the job without a mess and he was conscientious. I was not able to be there when he was making the repair and he called to inform me of all of the details. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Paul contacted me, and arrived 15min later. Paul was professional and knowledgeable. My interaction with Paul was short, but pleasant.

Kitchen sinks started backing up and after 2 days of pouring boiling water down the drain to flush it out, we finally had to call a plumber. The guy we called said it was a bigger job than he could do and suggested Zest. Paul came out to try and snake it. The problem was much bigger. Shawn brought his crew of Tyler and Kareem. Super nice guys and very professional. Always on time. They were going to have to dig a trench through our house to repair something someone else didn’t do correctly. These guys were top notch. I gave my key to Tyler. Trusted him wholeheartedly. These guys did a great job. We had a trip to NC planned in 3 weeks and they worked tirelessly to get the job done. One night Paris came to help and they left at 10:50pm! We thought maybe we should take Tyler as a dependent since he was here the most. ?. Very expensive job, but will last a very long time. We will use Zest again .
