Special Ops Clean Team

I hired this company to clean my home for a move out service. They originally quoted us $50 per person per hour and advised it would likely be a team of 3 and would take roughly 3 hours to clean. Based on other company prices, the original quote seemed fair and this company was recommended to us. The day of the cleaning 4 people showed up and it took them 5 hours. As I said in the beginning this was a move out cleaning so nothing was in the house. They charged us over $1000 and left numerous areas uncleaned. We reached out the same day and advised the manager of our concerns and she said they would refund us $100. The job they did was not worth $900, so we requested to speak with the owner. We had to go back and clean the house again which took my spouse and me only 1 hour to wipe down all the walls and baseboards, wipe off the counters and shelves, scrub the washable marker out of the rug, dust, and touch up paint they chipped. They also scrubbed the toilet with some solution that took the finish off so it’s destroyed and we will have to replace it. We have tried to reach out to the company and have gotten the run around for 2 weeks

At 44p/hr per person with a 3 person team I'm flabbergasted that it took them hours to clean a newly remodeled home, not completely furnished, with no kids and only a small dog. At that rate, number of people, and time spent I would expect my house and appliances completely spotless and my walls, baseboards, window tracks, vents, etc. to be thoroughly cleaned (they weren't). The job completed was just barely better than what I do on my own and some products used actually destroyed the type of finishing I had in the bathrooms which I didn't notice until later that evening. I paid hundreds of dollars for this. I suppose if you've never cleaned a day in your life, have kids and animals tearing up the house and needed a basic cleaning the service would be worth it. The initial room took 20 minutes which is the most used and has the most stuff. Yet rooms that are barely touched with all new and clean items took longer? I cannot justify the cost with the quality and time spent. I chose this company because of the name, description, and what was promised. False advertising and highway robbery. It looks decent til you look at the details. I wish I had paid more attention to them but being they are professionals, I thought they knew best.

Avoid this company. I was charged more than double the price I was quoted, and they did not clean everything they were supposed to. It's been a battle to get ahold of anyone and they are constantly out of the office, or unavailable.

I am selling my house and reached out to this company to have them do a move-out cleaning service. My house is 1500sqft, 3 bed, 2 bath and was completely vacant. I provided this information to the company and they quoted the job would require 3 cleaners, and take about 3 hours for an estimated cost of $450. I agreed to the quoted price and scheduled the cleaning. When the team arrived, they had an additional cleaner with them, which I was not made aware of prior to their arrival. I didn't think this was a big deal and assumed the job would take less time. My house was by no means what you would consider a dirty house. It was recently renovated, and basically needed floors vacuumed, windows cleaned, surfaces wiped down, and bathrooms cleaned. Somehow, even with 4 people, it took them over 5 hours to clean the 1500sqft house and they charged me over $1000! For that price, I would have expected a top to bottom cleaning (which is what they said they would do), but they left all walls, baseboards, vents, inner cabinets, and the garage untouched. They also ruined the finish on our toilet seat with whatever cleaning products they used, and left grey residue on our kitchen counters from what I'm assuming were their dirty rags. My wife and I went back to the house after the team cleaned it to finish wiping down the missed surfaces. We simply used Clorox wipes and a duster to achieve what the professionals could not.
I reached out to the company afterward and let them know the situation. They offered me a $100 refund (bringing my cost to $916, still more than double what I was quoted). I explained that this was inadequate and requested an additional $300 refund ($616 total cost to me, still $166 more than the $450 quoted). The manager told me they would speak to the owner of the company about the matter. However, it's now been two weeks and they have still not given me a response. It's very difficult to get ahold of them, and when I do get through, they beat around the bush and offer excuses.
I will update this review If I hear back from them, but at this point, it seems like a lost cause.

Update: since posting this review, they have refunded the additional $300 I requested.

We sold our home and hired Special Ops to come out last minute and clean for the new buyer. They were there as planned, even a little early which is great, they sent extra help too! The ladies that cleaned were thorough and friendly, they did a great job! The house looked sparkling and smelled amazing when we left. Their customer service is exceptional too! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

After having an insulation disaster when a gentleman stepped through the ceiling of our dining room while a new air conditioner was being installed, we needed to have a deep cleaning done of most of our home. Team 6 was absolutely amazing. They arrived on time and made our home sparkle like a new model home in 4.5 hours. They even made a bow out of toilet tissue in the bathrooms and a fan in an envelope fold on the paper towel roll in the kitchen. I highly recommend this cleaning company

I have been working with SPECIAL OPS for three years and had excellent cleaning services every two weeks with a great team leader. Three weeks ago I had my windows cleaned after having done so with Tim the owner before we moved in three years ago. The work was very disappointing. I have 65 windows on one level. One group of windows in a front corner were not cleaned and a screen left on the ground. Also my blind valance in Master bedroom was not put back on securely and fell and the ends broke off. Tim would not come back to inspect or repair even though I sent photos. I will continue housecleaning services every two weeks because the leader is excellent. But I will it continue with the windows carpet cleaning ir tile cleaning as I did and had planned to do because I feel that as a long time tehikar customer there was no empathy or spongy made for the oversights and damage. The window cleaning this time compared to the first was mediocre at best.

They do an extremely thorough cleaning at fair prices. And so fast! I am not sure how they do it because I've never been able to get my house so clean:) if you are looking for a cleaning service, definitely give them a call. The staff was also very courteous and I commend their customer service!

They did an entire pre sale deep clean for me at a house I was selling in the area. Everything turned out great. I scheduled with them about 3 weeks in advance, and they were right on time and charged me just what they said they would. Good job!

This company is amazing. I have used them three times for move in cleaning in the last year. They are prompt, courteous and do a fantastic job. We had three different teams and they were all friendly and professional. The standards in this company are clearly communicated to their entire organization.

AMAZING we had the ladies in to clean my moms house she recently passed away and we wanted the house ship shape. Just got back and the house looks AMAZING! My mom was there 20+ years and it looks and smells like the day they moved in. Every detail was taken care of ceiling fans, stove, oven, fridge, even under the stair cupboard. Money well spent!!!

I have used Special Ops twice now for move-out cleaning. I have received my FULL deposit back both times, which is hard to do. Well worth the money! They do everything, top to bottom and do not miss anything. SPOTLESS!!

Very impressed by this business. They did an excellent job at both residential properties and they were able to accommodate me on a last minute basis.
