I scheduled an appointment for Monday the 28th between 10 and 12. Since they were so busy 3 days was the soonest I could be serviced. Monday I received a call that informed me they were running 3 hrs behind. At 12:55 they called and told me they couldn't make it and I would be a priority appointment at 8am for the next day. Tuesday morning at 8:10 no one had shown up. I called the number and was told someone was in route. We have a 3rd shift worker that was waiting on the visit to go to sleep so I called at 8:30am to find out an ETA. I was told the person got an oil change first and was enroute to me. Hopefully he would be to us in an hour π‘. I told them not to worry about the trip and canceled the appointment.
Their drivers are rude. This showed up on my Google because i had to call after one of their vehicles almost sideswiped me and was swerving in and out of traffic 90 mph

Someone clogged our homes kitchen line with paint prior to moving. Had one plumber attempt to fix it, they couldnβt, and they broke our sewer connection. Had roto rooter come and they cleared the line and fixed what the previous plumber broke. Good guys.

I called with a problem on a Sunday and they set me an appt and called to let me know when they would arrive. I had never dealt with Roto Rooter before and was very pleased with their service. The service tech was Steve W and he was great. He was able to correct the problem and gave me tips to prevent future problems. The cost was less then I expected which was great as I lost my husband recently. I really appreciated their fast response and the fact that he was able to correct my problem at a reasonable cost. They diagnosed my long plaguing issue of bad draining in the house I rent out. It ended up being a tree root that crushed and broke the pipes going out. They were able to get a crew, dig the sewer pipe up and fix it. All in a couple days. My tenants barely had a couple hours of no water, and the price was completely reasonable. Definitely keeping their number handy.
We had a drain unclogged that two other plumbers told us we had to dig into our cement slab to unclog. Mason was able to clear it!

We had a severe grease clog causing a back up into our master bathroom We interacted with three Roto-Rooter technicians. Each were knowledgeable and able to clearly make recommendations to resolve the issue. Due to an irregularity in the way our pipes run, the initial water jetting didn't remove the clog. Troy (Tech #3824), the technician who initially completed the water jetting process, quickly returned the next day and resolved the situation at no additional cost. I would recommend Roto-Rooter for their amazing customer service and effectiveness. While they may cost a little more than some others, it's worth every penny when you know you can rely on the company to always make good on their promises.

We had a clean out cap fall into the main sewer line and get wedged. Had a different plumbing company come out and tell us we needed to have the sewer dug up at a cost of $3,200. Called Roto Rooter to get a second opinion and they were able to come out and remove the cap without digging and at a significant lower cost. Mason from Roto Rooter is my hero. He was a really nice person and very professional. I plan to call Roto Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

Rotorooter was awesome! I called at about 5pm and had the technician Emil over within a few hours. Emil was so amazing! He explained every step of his process to us (and gave us tips for other things in our home that he noticed outside of the job he was hired for) and gave us best case and worst case scenario. Unfortunately for us, the damage to our pipes could not be fixed by snaking them. Emil still worked for over an hour going above and beyond trying to fix our problem. He was so extremely helpful and kind and we are so glad that he was the technician that came out to help us! Overall this is a great company that was up front about pricing and there was great communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend!

As importantly, when he noticed something that didnβt feel right he called out Tim the scope wizard, and his trainee Michael, who went through the line from stem to stern and uncovered where a recent dig by Cox almost certainly damaged a section of the pipe leaving it prone to backing up again in the future. While itβs a bummer that I will now have to deal with Cox to get it fixed, Iβm glad that I had this group of professionals out. Probably the most meaningful thing to me was both James and Tim left me with direct contact info in case I needed anything which is rare amongst modern tradespeople but deeply appreciated. If I need plumbing services in the future I know who I am calling.

We had two issues that needed to be addressed. The first was a water leak when using our washing machine, the second was a toilet that did not flush properly. The first issue was fixed immediately as it was a small lint buildup that was found quickly. The problem with the toilet was calcium buildup and the repair man was very honest in his evaluation suggestion we purchase a new toilet versus trying to repair the current one. When we asked what our bill was, the response was nothing. Simply, please call us when you have the next plumbing issue. He can be certain that we will be calling this company again. I give them my highest recommendation.

We had sewage backing up into our bathtubs. We called Roto Rooter. 2 guys, 4 hours, and $416 later, both technicians left scratching their heads saying we would have to dig up the sewer line in the front yard. We called another company and the solved the problem in TWENTY MINUTES and charged FAR LESS!

We had a plumbing emergency that required us to shut all the water off on a Sunday night- not an ideal time to need a plumber ASAP. Roto Rooter was easy to work with and had someone out to our place in less than 2 hours.
Andre, with the Phoenix branch, did an incredible job to figure out a complex problem, come up with a solution, and get everything fixed. He was punctual, very polite, explained everything to us that was happening, presented the best options to solve the problem, and put us at ease during a very stressful experience. If you are having issues with your sewer like I did, Roto-Rooter is the way to go. I recently had to call Roto-Rooter to make several fixes to my sewer and I thought it was going to be a nightmare! But with the help of Roy and Maurice at Roto-Rooter, the fix was painless. With great integrity and very knowledgeable, these two made my nightmare into a dream. They walked me through every step ensuring I understood how my issue was going to be fixed and to top it off they were the sweetest guys Iβve ever met. We had a major sewage backup happen late on a Friday night that left us without a functioning toilet or shower, and a bathroom full of water. Chris came to the rescue! He was out to our house in less than an hour and got the line clear. It took a while and he had to go at it from both the clean-out and toilet line, but he made sure we had a functioning system before leaving. He also got us a follow up appointment to have the line scoped with a camera a couple days later since there was a trouble spot that was still present. Plumbing work isnβt cheap, but I at least appreciate that the money spent covered the full cost of the work, including the follow up.

I have never had a faster and more competent plumber to help solve our septic tank issue today. This usually takes hours with the other company he was able to solve the problem and even inspected the line at no charge as a courtesy. Mason will be the man I ask for every time if I could.

There are not many servicemen like Steven from Roto Rooter anymore. He let me vent about the dispatcher, let me explain in full detail what the issue was. Steven then explained exactly what needed to be done. He is very knowledgeable of his trade, and put my mind at ease. I appreciated that he spoke to me and not at me. Service by the technician was great. Called a few times the appointment day and was told when someone is in route they would call. My appointment was delayed one day and rescheduled. The next day, before my appointment I called to confirm that someone would be there. Two hours after my arranged appointment times I called back and was informed that my appointment had been canceled. They could not tell me why, who, or when it was actually canceled. Later that evening they finally got someone out.

UPDATE: So my water heater had a gas leak after Taha replaced it. This is VERY dangerous! My wife smelled gas in the garage for the last day. Oliver from Roto Rooter came out within three hours and repaired the botched install. A water line was used instead of a gas line. I have to knock off two stars for the botched install and the danger this potentially put my family in. That said the issue was quickly resolved by Oliver and the service was still very good. We appreciate Oliver's good service and honesty in doing the repair.
Excellent service! We had a hot water heater leak all over our garage on a Wed afternoon. I called Roto-Rooter and with in 3 hours Roto-Rooter was at my house and working on a replacement. So, initial 5 star review was coerced for a $60 coupon. Flat rate fee to rooter our line was $650 since our house predates modern plumbing cleanouts and thus the toilet had to be pulled for an access point.
For this amount, the technician left my bathroom an entire mess with black/brown stains (you do the math) all over our walks & floor, reseated the toilet and did a caulking job that looks like a four year old finger painting. Additionally, he didn't have the necessary components to complete all of the work order.
A follow-up appointment had to be scheduled for later in the week and a 1:00 p.m. appointment rolled into 6:00 p.m. before we had to cancel and try to reschedule.
They were VERY prompt to show up and bill me but everything else has been poor.

Very dissatisfied with their service. I had a clogged sink, was told someone would be over in 2 hours and that I would receive a call 30-45 minutes prior to arrival. I received a call and no one came. After an hour I called and was told there was an issue with their dispatch system. An hour and a half later the technician finally arrived, walked in and Within 30 seconds without doing anything at all, said it would be $300 to clear the drain. Everyone else advertises $80-$100, this was a HUGE waste of time. Call anyone else, youβll save both time and money.
