I was very pleased. They sent two professionals that went above and beyond to make sure the house was spotless and very clean. My kitchen is sparkling. They washed all the baseboards and windows too. They took a little over 5 hours to clean 2200sq feet. They made sure the house looked like a million bucks

There are always loose ends the first time working with a new company but Merry Maids took care of all my needs and quickly resolved minor items that were missed or needing clarification. I am very happy with the service. Tatum is an awesome part of the Merry Maids team. She is very detailed and a hard worker. I am very pleased.

Ii signed up for assistance through cleaning for a cause, because I am no longer able to perform my activities of daily living ,so my housekeeping has suffered greatly. I was lucky to have the opportunity to have Merry Maids of Glendale come to my rescue! Stephanie and Francis were both friendly, and professional. They wasted no time and completed their tasks leaving my home sparkling and fresh!

The person who came to my home was named Latepha. She was excellent. I needed some deep cleaning done in a couple areas. She did an amazing job. She was very pleasant and professional. I will be using her again. I would say request her.

Erica did the cleaning & she was great..efficient & thorough. The office staff was the reason I will never use, nor recommend Merry Maids. Maria, in particular at the office was rude & unaware of the paperwork provided me. I attempted to express my concerns & Maria wouldn’t listen, kept speaking over the top of me. She didn’t pass on to the cleaning women any of our arrangements as far as cleaning products, wearing a mask & had the paperwork all wrong. Paperwork had me down as having 4 bedrooms & I have 2. Maria was ZERO help when I attempted to explain my concerns about potential charges. Maria should not be in a position to work with the public. She needs to be a file clerk in the basement.

I first heard about Merry Maids when I was nominated for free cleaning services they were providing for Healthcare workers during the Corona virus pandemic. I knew right away this is a company that cares about the community and they confirmed this when they came to my house and provided outstanding service. I have used their services once again, and I was not disappointed. The staff assigned to me was professional, on time, and service was excellent. I have a lot on my plate on a daily basis, and Merry Maids gave me a sense of relief in knowing my home was cleaned with care.

Merry Maids always does a great job for me - they are here when promised, and the crews always take great care of all my cleaning needs. Very happy with the service I receive. Today Alyssa and her team did a great job for me...the attention to detail was fabulous!

Scheduled a Top to Bottom cleaning. Got less than a regular weekly cleaning. Mona wouldn't do anything to discount the $589 I paid. Make sure you are at the premises and inspect before they leave. I was out of the country. They did nothing to fix or discount. Read the Docusign CAREFULLY. Be proactive the minute they say they are finished. The two women were late. My cleaning got shortcut because they were late arriving. Dust on furniture, dirty cabinets. Less than professional response.

Mindi and Deb did a fantastic thorough job on a not so clean apt. I was amazed with the results.. Felt like a new place again. They were kind and accommodating to my personal needs. I will request them upon my next needs from Merry Maids.

The thing we liked MOST about Merry Maids is your customer service. Trisha Tully was MAGNIFICENT!!! She was kind, patient, accomodating and understanding. She was what helped us know that Merry Maids was the right cleaning company for us because she was THE MOST professional company representative! The cleaning crew was great too! They did an outstanding job. MERRY MAIDS IS BY FAR THE BEST CLEANING SERVICE EVER!!!!

My home looks amazing after Merry Maids team came in to clean. My baseboards look great, the shower and entire restroom is spotless, clean windows, dusting is on point, floors, vacuumed sofas and the kitchen look amazing! I am a very happy customer! Thank you Merry Maids!

Damari and the other woman who came to clean my 1 bedroom apartment were exceptionally thorough and and did a wonderful job cleaning out my old apartment. They took care in every room they cleaned, and left my old place ready for the next tenants to move into! It’s a little pricey (only because I needed to extend my time a bit outside of the normal window I was given), but honestly the work these women put into it was well worth it. I may have found my go-to cleaning service. Thank you Merry Maids!

Horrible. I would give negative stars,, if i could. Super expensive. One of the maids stole $300. The manager let me know that when this happens the money is usually found...implying that this happens often.
My house wasn't cleaned the way we agreed. It was supposed to be a deep clean and it was barely a regular cleaning. It took 3 days in sessions of a few hours, because one person kept leaving. One of the cleaners went to the bathroom downstairs for 45 minutes, and the whole downstairs smelled horrible, and she didn't even clean the bathroom she used. I spend about $1000 + $300 (that was stolen) to have a kind of clean house and a lot of frustration. The owner took off the 45 minutes, when the lady was in the bathroom, she gave me a $42 credit and sent me a check (that I haven't seen yet) for $100. They claim that the cleaner didn't steal $300, because they asked her. I wish I had NEVER used their services. It was a wretched experience. I paid a lot for an agreed upon service, that i didn't get.Oh, I offered to let them make it right before I wrote a review and they clearly didn't. I couldn't be more disappointed and I'm out $1000, after it was all said and done.

Merry Maids of Phoenix are reliable, thorough, trustworthy and very pleasant. They do a fantastic cleaning job. My home “sparkles” when they finish their job. I have two full baths, 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room plus a large indoor porch. They finished in under 3 hours. I have them come in once a month and my home stays clean and bright.

Horrible. Absolutely the worst experience and I will never use this company again. If you want your house clean find someone else who will actually do the work you paid for.

We are in the process of selling our house, and I thought it would be nice to have “professional” cleaners come in and tidy the place up. The appointment was scheduled for Monday (5/13) and the cleaners were supposed to be there for five hours. They left a hour and a half early, which at the time I didn’t think much of it. Once I arrived to look at the “work” done I found the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, the kitchen floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, the kitchen cabinets that I paid extra for were not cleaned.. which left me wondering what they actually did for the time they were actually there. On the plus the managed to clean the fridge and oven but even those had soap stains.

I called and told Maria what I previously mentioned and she assured someone else would come out and clean up what was missed. They would come out Tuesday morning to get this taken care of. Tuesday afternoon I go to the house and find again the kitchen floor hasn’t been swept or mopped, and the cabinets haven’t been cleaned. I paid $450 for these services... I shouldn’t have to check their work or follow up repeatedly to get the services I am paying for.

I called Maria on Tuesday night and advised I didn’t want them to come back. I would clean the remaining items myself as I can’t keep stopping potential buyers from looking at the house because they can’t do the job I hired them for. Oh yes, to add insult to the whole situation we had folks wanting to look at our house but because of them we had to turn them down. Their response to this whole situation was we will take $45.00 off the total bill.

At the end of the day I paid a total of $405 and I get to go to my house and clean the cabinets, sweep and mop the kitchen floor when I hired them to take care of this for me. $45 dollars doesn’t even cover the hassle of dealing with this nonsense. I shouldn’t have to stand over you to get things completed. The items I paid for were on the contract I signed... apparently giving their maids a list of things to do is hard. Let’s see if I even get the $45 back because their work ethic wasn’t honest, how could anything else be?

I paid for 3hrs to wash windows, clean oven and clean 2 bathrooms. At the end of 3hrs my livingroom windows, frenchdoor windows, kitchen window and oven were not done. I feel Merry Maids should have scheduled 2 people to complete the service I paid for. The person that came I feel did the best she could, but the
Job was more than for one person!! I called the office and the person I spoke to was very argumentative & rude. I WILL NOT CALL OR HIRE NOR RECOMMEND MERRY MAIDS due to their non professional and business values.

Great cleaning teams. Very pleased with their work. Have been using Merry Maids for over twenty-five years. Reliable, thorough and the teams are always very pleasant and do quality work. Even in these scary times, they are extra careful with masks and gloves and continue to do an outstanding job.

Advised lady coming btwn 2-3pm. I called and she was late. I was advised her prior job ran long. I was closing on my home and was waiting for her to clean my home. Had to cancel as she ran almost 45 min.late..not happy. Did get full refund, though.

I am so disappointed. I was so excited for Merry Maids to come out and clean. I had used them years ago, and they were just amazing.

I spent months organizing my house in preparation for a deep clean from Merry Maids. I saved and scheduled my appointment. We scheduled 2 people for 6 hours, for a deep clean.

The day arrived and 2 ladies came to my home, Sonja and Nicole. Casey came over to the home to let me know that it would actually need to be 2 days with 6 hours each day...a total of 24 hrs man power (2 people for 12 hours total). I agreed and Casey left.

At one point Nicole needed to use the restroom. She was in the bathroom for about 40 minutes and my entire downstairs smelled horrible. I had poopourri in the bathroom, a febrezze spay and a fan. She didn't use any of them and she didn't clean the bathroom after she used it. Shortly after this Nicole had to leave. It was only part way into the 6 hours. I noticed a lot of things were done poorly, like wiping fans and baseboards, dusting etc. It turns out those were the things Nicole had done.

Sonja stayed and redid these things. Sonja was just awesome, BTW.

So, the second day arrives and Nicole and Sonja come over again, but this time Nicole came took payment (cash) and immediately left. She did no cleaning.

Here's the worst part. After she left I realized that $300 was missing out of my wallet. The only person that was near it was Nicole. It was by my front door and when Mona came over to pick Nicole up, she had access to my purse and saw me put money into my wallet when, I paid her. I also have a recording on my ring doorbell of her putting something in her apron pocket after she passed my purse and went outside.

I sent this footage to Casey (assistant manager) upon her request. Later she let me know that she asked Nicole if she took and Nicole said no. I can't believe she would just expect her to admit to that. I never expected someone to steal from me, but that was my own  naivity, I suppose. I should have been more careful. I am still shocked and upset, none the less.

The third day (it turned into 3 days), Sonja came alone and finished cleaning. As stated she was amazing and did a great job. However, this was a two person job (6 hours each day) and it's awful that she had to do it alone. She did her best, but a lot of attention to detail was missed due lack to time and man power.

I paid for a lot of extras, in addition to the deep cleaning and a lot of them didn't happen.

I even cleaned with Sonja on the second and third day. The whole point was for me not to clean.

So, I didn't get what I asked for. I didn't get what I paid for. Money was stolen from me, which makes me feel sick. My entire downstairs smelled horrible while getting it my home cleaned. Nicole did close to nothing and stole from me and I still have a lot to clean, myself, even though I paid close to $1000.00.

I gave Casey the chance to make this right before I wrote a review, but she simply didn't make it right.

I was so excited for Merry Maids to come and it ended up being an expensive nightmare.

I just wanted a clean house :(

I will never hire the neighborhood cleaning lady again. Yes, she was cheaper, but I don't like having to clean what I paid her to do after she left. Merry Maids came in as scheduled, did a superb cleaning of my home, listened to direction when given, and even wore masks and gloves the whole time. Worth every penny.

1st, there was a miscommunication with the date they were supposed to arrive. I thought it was Wed. but after I called thinking the maids were late they said they had me scheduled for Thurs..... OK maybe my fault...... Well it is Thursday now. I called at 9:30 am and asked when the maids would be arriving. I was told between 12-1 pm. Perfect! 1pm rolls by..... no maids. I call at 1:45 pm and they are running late, they will be there soon. Finally at 2:30 pm they are at my house. I am not happy since I have altered my day to send my child to daycare to make sure she is out of the house while the cleaning is happening. They do their walk-though and call in to the manager. Apparently 2 hours and 45 min ($290) will not cut it they need 4 hours for $460. Well considering most furniture has been removed and all the clutter is gone I am not totally sure why the quote i got on the phone was so different than the one in person. I personally cleaned the floors, the kitchen and all the bedrooms yesterday when they were not coming since our house is now listed to sell and is supposed to start showing any minute. Might I add that all carpets were professionally cleaned on Tuesday so they didn't need to do that. They have now been here an hour and I will post what the results were. But so far the experience has been not up to par with the price.

I called and told the scheduler what I wanted done. We went over the rooms and the size of the house. On the day of, they show up and say it’s going to cost more money even though we discussed it all. They wanted me to pay more so they could stay longer. They never said anything about this being a hourly job or time limit when I called. It’s a SCAM. You can tell by others posting the same type of review. The 5 star reviews are by people with only 1 or 2 reviews? Really? Sounds fake to me. They didn’t complete the job. Some rooms look real nice. Other rooms weren’t touched. Complete waste of money. The fans weren’t clean, which I asked for. The outside of the fridge isn’t wiped off, which I asked for. They said they didn’t know there would be stuff on the shelves. My dad and husband moved everything off the shelves for them and they still didn’t touch the bottom shelves. We just moved in 4 days ago but how do they clean other people’s houses that live there for years. DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU

I've been using Merry Maids for about 18 months. They come every four weeks and they do a fantastic job every time. The people they send are professional, friendly and courteous. And they work hard! I highly recommend them.

Absolutely the worse cleaning service I have ever used, DO NOT USE MERRY MAIDS . They quoted me 330 for a 750 square foot apartment that is hardly dirty. We just wanted the ease of not having to clean our apartment to get our deposit back after we moved out and yes 330 is expensive but we thought that paying that price would guarantee a spotless apartment. They came they quoted us 330 saying that they charge by the hour and if they had run out of time they would contact me first for permission to continue cleaning and to charge me more for that. I did not consent to this at all , I had missed their call to see if they could stay longer and I ended up calling them back 11 mins later . Not that long right ! Well they said when I called they had to stay longer and clean and keep in mind this is all in 11 mins and they tried to charge me 430 !! Instead of 330 that I was originally quoted even tho I did not give consent for them to stay . That alone is mind baffling I called them out immediately saying nope I am not paying 430 when I did not give you consent to continue and it had only been 11 mins so they said that they would leave a list of what was not done and just charge me the 330 , totally fine with me . We show up at the apartment later on to discover that half of the stuff we had discussed would be clean was not! Tell me why they wanted to charge me 100 dollars more and the apartment wasn’t even fully clean!! And on top of that the only thing that they claimed was not clean on their little list was the floors so why is it that there are multiple things not clean!!? They told me they would come back for a charge and I’m like are you kidding me I am not paying you more when you didn’t even do the job right the first time . The audacity they have to actually ask me to pay more for their poor cleaning job that COST 330 for a 750 square foot apartment. That is sick! I had to go back clean up what they didn’t and guess what we aren’t getting our deposit now and we payed 330 for very minimal cleaning either you have very lazy maids or you guys really don’t care about giving what your customers pay for . Absolutely ridiculous so do yourself the favor and do NOT use merry maids . You will be saving yourself a lot of money and stress. I can’t express enough how horrible this experience was .

I have Merry Maids clean my home while I'm at work. I feel like I can trust them and they always lock up when they leave. I get to come home to a clean house that smells wonderful! I recommend them to everyone I know.

Over rated and over priced. Two workers were there for 11 hours over two days and still missed many thing that were obvious. One of them had a snide attitude when we pointed out what they missed. In the end the house didn't look any better and didn't have that fresh smell like they promised. $500 for a 3 bedroom house that was almost empty because it was up for sale is way over priced. All they offered was a $50 discount and we had to do the rest of the cleanup. All the manager kept saying was they were there for 11 hours and we lost money on the job. Made excuses for their slow and inept workers. I had to supply CLR and Lacquer Thinner to remove adhesive and calcium because their green products didn't work and they refused to buy proper chemicals to do the job right. NEVER AGAIN!

The team that came to my house was very professional and did an amazing job cleaning! Everything is sparkling and smells so clean! Definitely recommend!

They did a great job cleaning my uncle's apartment, however $275 for a one bedroom one bath was a bit much! Overall, my uncle was happy with his now cleaned apartment.

Its a shame as I was sold on one cleaning and all i got was miscommunication. I ask for the Kitchen to include the appliances to be be clean but I was told I had to tell them to clean the inside. I paid for two hours of work in which a Kitchen and bathroom for a move out. The hardest part was the ovens but they weren't cleaned because I didn't say inside. The house was cleaned and just needed a touch up so I am not sure what she did for two hours if the ovens were done and its only a touch up for one bathroom and Kitchen (no appliances cleaned because I have to spell out exactly what to do). Thanks for trying to fix it by coming in the next day but charging even more money.... Never again as I shouldn't have to spell out every details and take off before I can check the work. Oh wait I did not tell them to wait for me to check it.. . Once again I have spell things out. . . We can all use a little common sense on these items.

The cleaning service was awesome 11 out of 10 stars. Went far beyond my expectations. I could not find anything that was not cleaned. Special thanks to Maricela and Jillian for doing an outstanding job.

merry maids has quite a few good reviews online. so based off that I decided to use there services. Filled out the information they requested online and after a day or so I received a phone call to schedule a walkthrough through my home. which then she gave me accurate quote for first time deep clean and repeated weekly services. 1st one time fee for deep clean was $1,100 And after that once a week $299 per week. They said if you do a agreement that you will keep us on for 6 months. We will discount $400.00 off the 1st deep clean service at that I said sure we were planning to keep them on board for the long run then she said but if you decide to cancel before the 6 months we will charge your card the $400 for not keeping your agreement. after they did 5 repeated cleanings to my home. I received a call notify me that they needed to increase the weekly payment by $144.00 more which would bring my total to $443.00 a week. they mentioned that their employees were taking way too long to clean my home and due to that that they needed to charge me more money and that if I wasn't OK with the new price then I can go ahead and cancel my service and that they would just charge me the additional $400! to my credit card, for not keeping my agreement. I said but I'm not canceling my agreement you’re forcing me to cancel and the Lady said it works both ways if we cancel or you cancel! don't hire these Marry Clowns to clean your home. they don't honor their own agreement and if they can get more money out of you they will.
