Home warranty assigned J&L to investigate my leak, which turned out to be inside my walls. Zach took charge and called a mitigation company right away, and his expertise and immediate action saved me from an even worse situation. When mitigation was done they fixed the broken pipe and replaced other spots that had corroded (1970s copper pipes and hard water). They also recommend and installed a wonderful home water filtration system, which I'm already enjoying very much. Extremely hard working people who know what they're doing. Thank you for everything!!

After 1 previous plumber visit (unsuccessful attempt to remove -replace bathtub faucet cartridge), Ronnie used multiple tools and lubricants to finally remove the old cartridge . He replaced it as well as the water handle. Worked well and the clean up job was good. Would recommend his skillful work and skills to other customers.

When you don’t have hot water, you need someone who can make your appointment a priority. This company was able to come out the very next day from my afternoon request call for service. (Unlike others I checked with prior) Paul called me ahead of time to let me know when he was on his way. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly - All the components of excellent customer service. I will use this company again and ask if Paul would be available. We appreciate that we didn’t have to be without hot water for very long!

The technician that came out was Eric. He did a good job. He was polite and performed the faucet replacement in a professional manner. Only complaint is that I was given a 4 hour window and he didn’t arrive until two hours beyond the window. He did apologize and explain he had a clogged pipe and it took quite a while in fixing the problem. I was his last stop and the office knowing that should give a smaller window in lieu of 4 hours.

Garbage disposal update

I called J&L because my outside faucet stopped working. I am not a fix-it kind of person, and felt out of my depth, so I called them. Ryan was extremely professional. He called 20 minutes before arriving at my home, was timely, professional, and efficient. He started working immediately and discovered the problem, and kept me informed along the way and let me choose the options that worked best for my situation. I like that he presented me with two solid choices and didn’t pressure me into doing something I didn’t want to do. Once my choice was made, he completed the job quickly. I also really like that he kept me informed every step of the way as far as what was going on, just because I was curious and wanted to learn (but not enough to actually do it myself, haha). It says a lot that he was patient enough to explain procedures to someone while working without getting irritated. I will, without a doubt use this company again, just because of the way Ryan represented them today. Thank you so much for helping me!

Sometimes when you have to use the repairman that insurance pays for, you don’t expect much. In this case we were pleasantly surprised! I’d give Paul 6 stars if it were available. He diagnosed our problems, he fixed them, he recommended good companies to do the things outside his scope. He was pleasant, polite, professional, came back on Saturday and Sunday to monitor a possible problem. He was knowledgeable and efficient but took time to answer all of our questions.

Explained the problem as to hubby understood.

Paul called 15 minutes before arriving. He was friendly and open to hearing my concerns and what was causing issues. He was able to fix my running toilet quickly and explained in good detail what was happening and why. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

A technician was sent to my house from my warranty company. He was helpful and pleasant to work with. My warranty company wasn’t going to cover the issue. Which is fine, but I was sent an estimate from J and L that seemed fair. However, I have some follow up questions, which is where my criticism begins. When you call the company, you are greeted by an automated message, which seems bizarrely unnecessary, because there is only one option. When I used this option, the line just rang continuously. At one point I let the ringing continue for 10 minutes- nobody ever picked up. I decided to email my question. Never heard back.

So, I went somewhere else.

Paul was very professional and explained what was needed and made me feel comfortable. Paul gets 5 stars from us. 😊

The spout on our tub was spraying out the side and back so I placed a claim with my home warranty on a Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning J&L Plumbing called me to make an appointment (they get 10 stars from me just for working on a weekend and being super responsive!). On the day of the appt the plumber called 15 mins before he arrived and fixed the spout very quickly! Everyone was extremely professional, accommodating and they did a fantastic job!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

Dan did an excellent job fixing our leak. He didn’t do what most home warranty referred plumbers do, where they come out do a cheap job as quick as possible and then leave. He figured out what the issue was and cut into our wall and spent a long time fixing it properly. I also noticed another leak under the sink that I report to home warranty and he fixed it same day. He is a very hard worker and takes his time to make sure things are repaired properly. I would highly recommend Dan and his professional work, we are only using this company moving forward.

Plumber came to my house 3 times, left the dishwasher not installed properly, charged my landlord 300 dollars without disclosing what kind of dishwasher they were selling. And off top of that, have not came to pick up the dishwasher after almost a month of asking them too!!! Save your money and use someone who is actually professional and can do the job correctly, let alone answer a phone or a text message.

Paul, the plumber, was professional in the performance of replacing a faulty water line shutoff valve to our refrigerator. Upon arrival he introduced himself, asked about the problem and went straight to work. In a matter of minutes he had completed the repair and asked if I had any questions.
