We decided to investigate solar power for our home and Bright Home Energy was recommended by a friend. As I travel quite a bit for work, my wife winds up managing most of the projects at home.
One thing that I am particularly impressed with is the communications from Bright Home. Working with the team there such as Alexis has been very refreshing. Bright Home consistently keeps us informed on what is happening and what to expect next. When they say they will call you - they do.
We are not solar experts - lots of companies are paid to do that. What really separates Bright Home Energy is their customer support. We are very grateful for the lack of stress this project has had for us. Thank you team!

Absolutely wonderful company we got a really great deal. Our salesman was Aaron and he was amazing we are even buddies with him now. When they installed the solar system a leak occurred on the ceiling and we noticed it in our living room so I called them and they immediately came and fixed it and then even had a guy come in and paint our entire ceiling to get rid of the stain that was left from the small leak. His name is Juan and he was amazing as well. Overall a really great experience and will definitely save me money especially during the summer! They are really easy to get a hold of and all of the employees are super polite and awesome!

Great company. Very professional. My install was done in an exemplary manner according to the inspector that came out. He wanted to take photos so he could show other companies what a good install looked like! Other than waiting for inspections and APS the work was done in no time. My neighbors were asking me when the installation was going to happen and I had to tell them it had already been installed for weeks. They were amazed. Use these guys! They are the best out there.

I would highly recommend Bright Home for installing your solar panels.
The sales person, Seth, was very friendly and professionally. Then after the sales pitch - the office staff kept me updated during the whole process - even if there was no update, they would call me about ever couple of weeks.
Great team to work with - not to mention the lovely gifts from Q-tsie Professionals the was delivers a couple times during the process.

Started my project back in June. Solar plus battery. I wanted the battery installed inside my garage. After 18 week of waiting on permits I come to find out the permits were requested to install the battery outside of my house. Now mind you- I got update calls every 2 weeks on my ‘progress’ and I asked each time if the permits were drawn up for my battery to be installed in my garage. I was assured and promised by multiple people that it was done correctly. Turns out- they either can not read or just lie to their customers.
After this mishap I got a call from Shauna who was a manager of some sort. She assured me she would expedite the re-permitting process to try again. I called her back 4 weeks later to get an update and she told me that they needed to come to my
House to check my panel and make sure my system is designed properly. At this time no permits had been requested. So another 4 weeks went by, no communication and we are now starting over. After 5 months and no progress, I canceled the system.

I have never dealt with a larger group of incompetent and uneducated humans in my
Life. Between the misinformation, lack of diligence and well, lies told to me- I could not move forward with such an expensive project. Not only do I not recommended this company, I advise strongly to take your money anywhere else! There are so many companies and to find one who can manage a project better than this should be pretty simple.

Stay clear of this disaster. A 12 week project turned into 5 months of wasted
Time and aggravation. 0/10.

After a disappointing attempt to get solar about 9/10 years ago (that company telling us it would be very expensive, wouldn’t cover our energy needs, and some EXTREMELY high-pressure sales tactics), I thought it wasn’t in the cards for us.

Then, we talked with the folks at Bright Home Energy. They walked us through the process, and made sure all our questions were answered. And were able to get enough solar on our house to cover all our needs, and come in cheaper than what we were paying to the local energy company.

Our rep, Austin, made sure we were kept in loop at all times. Any time problems or delays came up (mostly just the standard stuff of dealing with the bureaucracies of an HOA and the local power company), he made sure we knew what was going on. And that we could get through anything with a minimum of fuss and bother.

We had a great experience all the way from the sales rep to turning on our solar. Seth is a great sales rep, he took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions until we felt comfortable. He’s great at answering his phone and I’ve never not been able to get ahold of him. Our install team (Delta team) did a fantastic job installing our solar panels and making sure we were happy with the locations of the electrical piping on the side of our house. They kept us informed every step of the way and we’re overall very pleasant and comfortable people. The Solar inspection passed first try which made me feel even more comfortable in the installation job Delta team did and reassured me there were no corners being cut anywhere in the process. We have APS and they came out in a timely manner (I’ve heard different stories about SRP). Once APS did the inspection I was able to call Bright Home Energy and Austin, my solar manager/representative, congratulated me and ran me through the process of turning my solar system on. Austin did a great job keeping me in the loop every step of the way and would consistently keep in contact with me letting me know what’s happened so far and what’s to come. I would say from sales rep to turning on my solar system the overall process took a little under 2 months and I couldn’t be happier with the service that Bright Home Energy provided. Overall a very happy customer and would definitely work with them again in the future :)

I have notes of my experience with this company since first meeting with them in August of 2021. We have had numerous problems with them that still haven't been resolved. We've had problems with professionalism, quality, reliability, broken tiles, delays, etc. We are still waiting for them to reimburse us for the cost of having to hire a professional roofer to fix our roof that they broke. We had to call the roofer because Bright Home came out 3 different times to fix it and they still couldn't/didn't. We've dealt with a lot of contractors after moving into our house and this one has been the worse so far. Salesman came to my door in the middle of dinner. I said “no” multiple times very politely and he wouldn’t accept it. I told him we were eating dinner and this wasn’t a good time. He kept saying “before you go…” even though I was very clear that we weren’t interested. I eventually had to tell him that a no is a no and to have a good night. It was extremely uncomfortable to have him at my door not accepting no as an answer. If we were to consider solar in the future, I definitely would not use a company that encourages these types of sales.

Great company to work with. The salesman was very low key. Explained all of the details with no pressure. I took at least 6 weeks deciding on what I wanted to do and the salesman respected my time without any pushing. Once I opted to go with them the process was very efficient. First off I agree with most reviews that the process of purchasing and the install were great. Friendly people and all that. BUT, if you have any issues all customer service is out the door. We have had solar for about a year and on Aug 21st our inverter went out, we called and they stated they knew this and was in the process of getting another one ordered. Today it was installed. A month and 2 days later. We ask them for some kind of reimbursement and they stated they don't do that to check with Solar Edge, they said it was Bright Homes responsibility. We had a very large APS bill due to this and will most likely have another one next month. We are of course still paying for the solar. We bought $40k + of product from them , gave them 2 referrals that ended in installs for them, and they say they cannot help us. Not their responsibility. What I know is we bought this from Bright Homes and that makes us THEIR customer. But if you have an issue customer service is out the door.
I would suggest you look at other companies that will support their customers and value the fact that they are giving glowing referrals that end in additional work from them.

The response from the owner is clear proof of their lack of integrity and should be all anyone needs to know. The only allegation I made was that when asked to provide labor and material costs the sales manager refused indicating they do not provide this information to customers. Those were his words, not mine. Moreover, is it any wonder the owner would rather I keep the truth about these solar scams out of the public eye?

You, the consumer, can decide.

I've already spoken to these people on multiple occasions, thus the owners rhetoric is laughable. If he wants to call me, i'll entertain it any time - they have our number. ****

This company is price gouging by using a minimal payback equation and backing into the highest purchase price they can establish. It's a shifty way of baiting unsuspecting buyers into the market at almost double the price of other suppliers of solar with silly narratives about North American Made panels, etc. Before you do business (if) with Bright Home ask them to provide verifiable hard costs of the installed equipment and labor - good luck, they refuse. Reason? They don't want people to know the degree of price gouging going on. Shop around, you can save 10's of thousands elsewhere with same guarantees.

In today’s climate, it is prudent to be skeptical about business dealings. We are often warned to “read the fine print” or are admonished “buyer beware” because of unscrupulous business practices.
I started out that way with Bright Home Energy, being “cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves.” (Matthew 10:16). As we progressed through our discussion about purchase and installation, I found no deceit in them. The sales rep was straight forward with facts and cautioned false expectations of what I thought going solar would produce. I truly appreciated the truthfulness of what I was getting. Not to mention the incentives one receives for doing so.
I recommend strongly, Bright Home Energy to anyone considering installing solar power to their homes. It does not in any way take away from the aesthetics of your home, and it significantly reduces one’s carbon footprint. Most gratifying is that we will be blessed for heeding God’s warning found at Revelation 11:18 “…and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”

The Bright Home Energy personnel were top notch from the panel installers to the electricians who installed the new solar disconnect and meter mounts.
There were some issues in dealing with our 45 year old circuit breaker panel but Rubin did not hesitate to come back and resolve the problem to our satisfaction.
The office staff in general and Karen specifically were outstanding in dealing with a less than patient customer (me) who always had a question or concern about the status of our panels and installation.
The staff was outstanding in keeping us informed about the status of our installation and let us know every time a milestone was reached.

I purchased solar once before and had a terrible experience from the purchase of the system to the sale of my old home with the system. Bright home was a full of polite people and they kept us informed through the entire process. Their panels look better than others I’ve seen. They were bulky of visible from the street. They sell and install their our products which is different than the last company I went through. It was 1,000x better than the last company I used. I truly can’t express how much better this experience was from the last. I highly suggest them.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with Bright Home Energy. From setting up the first in home meeting to provide an overview of their services and answer questions with comprehensive knowledge to quick instillation that took less than two days. The only part of the whole process that I needed to be present for was signing the agreement papers and flipping the switches on the circuit breakers to begin using the panels. Bright Home Energy took care of all the rest.

The reason for the four stars and not five was the lack of providing timely updates. When I first signed the paperwork to start the process I was told I would have panels within 30-45 days. However, it wasn’t until almost 90 days that I had the panels and was able to flip the switches to activate the panels. I understand that there were complications due to the pandemic. However, email updates or phone calls would have been appreciated.

Would I recommend Bright Home Energy? Yes.

I have been receiving calls repeatedly for close to 6 months. Each time they call me, I tell them that I already have solar and to remove from their call list. That does absolutely NOTHING. I purchased solar from another company last summer and don't need to add additional solar. STOP CALLING ME!!

The guys at volt are very professional and easy to work with. Door to door sales guys generally get a bad rap but it was refreshing to have volt knock on my door bc they were seemed knowledgeable and honest and genuinely seemed to have my best interest in mind (saving me money). I had lots of questions/reservations but they were patient and explained everything thoroughly without being pushy. Very low pressure and the savings have been amazing! I’m a believer! Go solar!
