Larry Stinson Plumbing did a great job replacing our garbage disposal, kitchen faucet and repairing leaks last week. The plumber was very knowledgeable and quickly answered all questions we had about the new parts. We will definitely use them again in the future!

The experience was great. The office personnel were excellent, friendly, informative and communication was also great. The technician was on time and very helpful. Checked the entire plumbing system for a leak and resolved our problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

They make sure to let you know what time to expect them as well as they explain exactly what is going on so that you can understand as well. Larry, Carissa and their team have done work for us in the past helping with a clogged clean out line and when our water heater went out yesterday they were my first call. They were here the next day to provide a quote and not only replaced our water heater the same day but even installed a water shutoff valve at our water softener system to avoid future leaks.They did a great job, and my family and I appreciate the quality of work they do!

I called Larry Stinson after a very poor experience with a different plumbing company and this one couldn't have been more opposite. Throughout the process, Larry Stinson's team has been professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy, they called multiple times to alert me when the technician would be here with a tracking link, and sent over a profile of my technician (Scott) so I knew who I'd be working with. Both guys who showed up were friendly and helpful too. They also informed me of the charges before they started which is very much appreciated. I highly recommend calling this company over the others in the area!

Outside spigot was broke and leaking if used from a small crack. They came out next day and fixed the problem in under 20 minutes and since the problem was easier than expected they took $50 off of the original quote!

I called and within an hour or so Stinson plumbing had two very professional guys show up and work on a pair of clogged sinks until they were working like new again. They cleaned up the sinks and cabinets afterwards leaving no trace that there was ever a problem or repair. I'm super impressed with the car tracking to show where the techs were on their way, the video of the working sink, and the electronic documentation and emailed copies of everything. Very professional on every level.

The master plumber that came to my residence was very efficient. Excellent communicator on the project. Had to remove mortar and brick to replace leaking outdoor water spigot. Did a really neat job. Brick fit right back in and just need to put some mortar back in. Thank you for your help!!

Very happy with my experience with them. Our old water heater was very out of code and in a weird closet in the garage. By the time Scott and his apprentice helper was done the space looked totally different. Everything is routed neatly and up to code now. The framing and door for the closet gone and the space just looks like it was meant to look that way all along. I’m really ocd about home repairs and projects. And I’m super happy with how everything came together. Will use them again for any future repairs

My parents had a foundation leak, called Carissa and they had someone out the next morning bright and early. Service guy was awesome. Very friendly and was very careful around all of the stuff they had in the washroom. Paid very close attention to detail. Better than everything they have amazing customer service. Very few people can claim that these days but Larry Stinson Plumbing is the standard

My sewer line was corroded and caused a major leak in my crawl space. They came out told me what they were going to do and the process of getting it completed all the way to inspection. I would definitely use them again.

Took care of issue immediately and effectively. The customer service including owners were also professional and extremely responsive. They handle all my issues perfectly!

Per Larry Stinson, the company owner, he uses a computer program that charges the average regional prices for plumbing services. In my case, we just needed to replace a toilet flange in a very small bathroom that had been accidentally attached with silicon when the installer put in the tile floor. She forgot to remove the flange, so it had to be cut out and a new one installed to replace the toilet. Working up his written estimate took the technician, Bubba, almost an hour because he did it through this computer tablet. Then the actual job took less than an hour and was done well. The cost was $1283 for this one hour of work and the cost of the flange. So he charged $1200 for one hour of labor! I thought this way over-priced and it should have cost maybe $600 or so. When I told the technician, I thought the price was very high, the technician said I was trying to “Jew him down”. I thought this was completely unprofessional. Nicole, who installed the floor, was getting paid only $250 because floor is so small (5’x5’), so knowing she had to pay the bill, I asked for a lower price. If I was paying to fix this, I would have gotten much lower quotes as the job was not hard, just cutting out a 3” flange and putting in a 4” one. But Nicole didn’t want to wait, so she paid $1245, as he came down a little. So even though they came on time and the work was good, their pricing and lack of professionalism make me not want to use them again. Bubba also tried to tell me they only provide a 30-day warranty, but then Larry said it would be 1 year.Their computer pricing program definitely must include data from much higher-priced regions/cities than this market. Please get other local quotes to compare before using Stinson!P.S. I am editing this review because Larry stated in his response below that Nicole “left a 5-star review”. which is not true. She just told me she has not left any review and considers the matter closed.

I live on a rental property built in the 1950s. The plumber had parts I can’t even find already in his truck. I was truly impressed with how fast and professional they were.

Needed a water heater in my rent house and these guys responded with next day service.
Great job with communication between tech and Tennant.

Corey and his Apprentice, Garrett, were very professional and clearly explained what they found, tested and repaired. They were on time and cleaned up afterwards. It is important to note, that Plumbers only fix the plumbing issue, they don’t put your wall back together. Any sheetrock repair/replacement is on the customer to take care of.

LS Plumbing was highly recommended by a close friend. They came out as scheduled. Upfront pricing so no surprises. Pricing was high, but based on recommendation I assumed it would be good work, and I was tied up with other things. I asked for an inspection of total system, and let the tech know of a specific issue relayed to me by the seller. He diagnosed the first minor problem he saw and went no further. I asked “That’s all?” and the tech indicted “yes”. I felt confident in their “expertise” and moved forward with installing flooring throughout the house. After move-in we had a major backup and called them back out. They diagnosed a sewer line issue under my living room slab (and brand new floor). The tech’s response was “wish we had known about this a month ago”…..which did nothing to make me feel better about the new flooring having to be taken up at my own expense and the disruption for my family…which again, I wanted to identify and resolve BEFORE moving in. The rest of the work was poorly done and they made two more trips out to try and resolve….which could’ve been caught in the initial call had there been some quality control, or even a simple thorough inspection. I diagnosed on my own that they had installed a part backwards. This was also extremely frustrating as I am NOT A LICENSED PLUMBER, and they missed it TWICE before. The office manager (Mrs. Stinson) genuinely seemed to care about how their company let me down. However, there was very little accountability from Mr. Stinson beyond admitting that the work had been of poor quality.I still have a sewer repair to complete, but I have vacillated between giving them another chance to do good work…and not giving them another penny.Ultimately, they self-selected themselves out. I needed a quote and description of work to turn into my insurance agent for possible claim. After multiple requests (and assurances from them that they would provide) I gave up. I think they were hoping I would go away. And this review will live on the internet forever, which is a shame because nobody is perfect…and they had opportunities to get it right, but they didn’t want to.

Cory and Joseph did a great job repairing our slab leak. They were on time, did the job quickly and did a great job with clean up after completing the job. I would definitely recommend using them to any friends or family and will definitely call them for any plumbing issues I have in the future.

This is the second time Scott has comeTo our house this year. We were very impressed with him the first time we asked for him again. He showed up first thing this morning and was able to fix the leak from the upstairs shower. He did have to cut out 2 sections of my kitchen ceiling but tried to do as little damage as possible. Scott was thorough in his work, polite and easy to talk to. I would recommend him or Larry Stinson Plumbing to anyone. When I called to make the appointment they were thorough in getting my details, sent an email with the appointment, called with a reminder yesterday, called this morning to let me k ow Scott was on his way along with an email and picture of what he would look like. Carissa and her team came out to replace my moms water heater and did an amazing job. They were able to get to it quickly so that she wasn’t out of hot water for very long at all. They were very professional and would highly recommend them!

During snow our hot water heater decided to go out. I called and scheduled a day to come out. They sent an email confirmation of the appointment, call before they came and were ON TIME! Snowmageddon2021 - The coldest temperatures we have experienced in Texas! We were without power for over 28 hours, temperatures hit 40* inside our house. One of our attic pipes ? burst. Hot Water Heater quit working. I wasn't sure which plumber to use looked up Good Contractor's List and picked Larry Stinson Plumbing. What a great experience. They came out - look at my Hot Water Heater. Gave me some options. Given the age of my hot water heater, I chose to replace it. Larry Stinson Plumbing brought a top of the line hot water heater, installed it and it passed City Inspection. The Inspector said they never have issues with hot water heaters installed by Larry Stinson Plumbing. If you are looking for a Plumber, I highly recommend Larry Stinson Plumbing. They do good work, they provide fair quotes which in my case was exactly what the cost was. They didn't charge a service fee on top of the installation. It was a great experience.

Our water heater was replaced earlier this year by LSP. Last week it stopped heating. I called LSP and they quickly ordered the part I needed. Unfortunately, parts are on backorder. My family is coming from CA for Christmas and I was panicked. They searched locally for the part, picked it up and installed it today! That is customer service! What a gem! I broke a sprinkler line landscaping my garden, and we had to shut off water to the house. Oops! I called LS Plumbing and instantly talked to a live, personable human being on the phone. She immediately send out Scott, who had my line fixed in no time. Really professional operation from start to finish. At the end of the day they charged me less than initially quoted. Phenomenal. Larry and his guys saved my house from an ex-contractor’s disaster workmanship. They came out to do the assessment the same day I called them and began work the next morning. They arrived on time, stayed late and stuck to the quote despite the extra 2 days of work that was unexpected. Larry and crew were hardworking, respectful and pleasant to be around. If I ever have any more issues (fingers crossed I don’t), I will be calling them.

Cory and his assistant were great. They were on time for both appointments I had - One for Estimate and one for the work. I would not hesitate to bring them out again for any future plumbing needs that arise. I had them replace 14 Emergency water shutoff valves, install new washer water supply valve box, repair a toilet and repair kitchen faucet.

2 gentlemen showed up to my house within an hour of calling today, 5/12/2020. They were called due to the washing machine drain being clogged. They tried to go through the drain itself, to no avail. Then went onto the roof to go through the vent pipe with a longer snake, 75 ft. And still could not clear it. They, then, got a pressure hose and were able to clear out the blockage that way. These are the perils of owning a 60+ year old house that likely was never serviced before we moved in. They were very professional, yet kept a friendly demeanor, a good balance. The cost was still under $300, less than most quotes, and no fee for a site visit, which no one else I spoke to offered. Overall, they were less expensive, and fixed my issue as quickly as they could, even cleaning up after themselves! I am extremely pleased, and would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

Can't say enough good things about this crew. Professional, courteous, and friendly. They replaced the entire waste system under our house and I could hear them singing and laughing while they worked. In the middle of a mess, they made me laugh, too. It was a big job but they made it bearable and for a very fair price. They even dealt with our 3 dogs barking the entire time. Will never use any other company.

On time and pro guys. Kuddos to the slab leak they did on my den. It fixed my bathrooms slow drain problem. We initally agreed on fixing my washer that was backing up. 1400 later. ..and an what additional 1900 quote to fix another leak according to the tech. I tried scheduling them back. Thank God they never returned my call. I had the lines cleared bu another company that did it for $400. The competitor showed me the pipes. The grease buildup was never cleared by the $1900 i had to pay. Hope that was an honest mistake. Not hiring them again.

Noticed our hot water Heater was leaking on Sunday night. I had previously used Ztinaon plumbing so I text Carissa at 11 PM the office manager and Larry wife. Sent over some pictures and she replied immediately. She asked if Larry could stop by in the mor ing on a holiday. Larry came out after Clearwater plumbing took our money multiple times and didn't correct any issues. Larry had us fixed within an hour and didn't try to throw in stuff we didn't need like the other guys. Thanks for taking good care of us!!
